He looked up and saw the rich people who were putting their gifts into the treasury.

He saw a certain poor widow casting in two small brass coins.

He said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow put in more than all of them,
4 hae kaminawk boih loe a tawnh ih kamtlai thung hoiah ni Sithaw hanah paek o: toe nongpata mah loe amtanghaih hoi a hing thung patung ih hmuen to paek kik boeh, tiah a naa.
for all these put in gifts for God from their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, put in all that she had to live on.”
5 Thoemto kaminawk mah loe kahoih thlung hoi tangqum ah paek ih hmuennawk hoiah temple pathoephaih kawng to a thuih o.
As some were talking about the temple and how it was decorated with beautiful stones and gifts, he said,

They asked him, “Teacher, so when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are about to happen?”
8 Anih mah, Minawk mah ang ling o han ai ah acoe oh: paroeai kaminawk kai ih ahmin hoiah angzo o ueloe, Kai loe Anih boeh ni; atue loe zoi boeh, tiah thui o tih: to pongah nangcae loe nihcae hnukah caeh o hmah.
He said, “Watch out that you don’t get led astray, for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is at hand.’ Therefore don’t follow them.
9 Misatukhaih hoi misa angkahhaih tamthang na thaih o naah, zii o hmah: hae baktih hmuennawk hae angzo hmaloe tih; toe boenghaih pha mak ai vop, tiah a naa.
When you hear of wars and disturbances, don’t be terrified, for these things must happen first, but the end won’t come immediately.”
10 To pacoengah anih mah nihcae khaeah, Acaeng maeto hoi maeto, prae maeto hoi maeto angkat o tih:
Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 ahmuen kruekah kalen parai talihnawhaih, takang thohhaih, kasae nathaihnawk, van ah hnuk ih zit kaom hmuen hoi kalen parai angmathaihnawk to om tih.
There will be great earthquakes, famines, and plagues in various places. There will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
12 Toe hae hmuennawk boih om ai naah, nihcae mah na naeh o ueloe, na pacaekthlaek o tih, kai ih ahmin pongah Sineko ah, thongim thungah, siangpahrangnawk hoi ukkungnawk hmaa ah na hoi o tih.
But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name’s sake.
13 Toe hae loe nangcae han tanghaih kawng taphonghaih atue kahoih ah om tih.
It will turn out as a testimony for you.
14 Nangcae mah timaw pathim han, tito mawnh han ai ah acoe oh:
Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand how to answer,
15 na misanawk mah lok to aek moe, poek anghmang o sak sut han ai ah, lokthuih thaihaih hoi palunghahaih to kang paek o han.
for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or to contradict.
16 Amno ampa, nawkamya, canawk hoi ampuinawk mah na pahnawt o ueloe, nihcae mah nangcae thung ih thoemto kaminawk to hum o tih.
You will be handed over even by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. They will cause some of you to be put to death.
17 Kai ih ahmin pongah kaminawk boih mah na hnuma o tih.
You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake.
18 Toe na lu nui ih sam maeto mataeng doeh anghma mak ai.
And not a hair of your head will perish.
19 Palung sawk ah na pauep o haih rang hoiah na hing o haih pakhra pahlong ah om tih, tiah a naa.
“By your endurance you will win your lives.
20 Misatuh kaminawk mah ven khoep ih Jerusalem to na hnuk o naah, Jerusalem pong suthaih atue loe zoi boeh, tito panoek oh.
“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is at hand.
21 To naah Judea ah kaom kaminawk loe mae nuiah cawn o nasoe; vangpui thungah kaom kaminawk loe tasa bangah tacawt o nasoe; tasa bang kaom kaminawk loe vangpui thungah akun o hmah nasoe.
Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let those who are in the middle of her depart. Let those who are in the country not enter therein.
22 To ninawk loe cabu thungah tarik ih hmuennawk boih akoep thai hanah, lu lakhaih niah om tih.
For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who nurse infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath to this people.
24 Nihcae loe sumsen hoiah dueh o ueloe, acaeng boih misong ah laem o tih: Gentelnawk ih atue koep ai karoek to Jerusalem loe Gentelnawk mah atii o tih.
They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 Ni, khrah hoi cakaehnawk nuiah angmathaih to om tih; long kaminawk loe dawnraihaih hoi mawnhaih hoiah om o tih, tuipui ah tuiphu angthawkhaih to om tih;
“There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth anxiety of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the waves;
26 van thacakhaih anghuenh pongah, kaminawk mah long nuiah kaom han koi zit kamo hmuen to panoek o naah, zit loiah palungthin thazok o tih.
men fainting for fear and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 To naah nihcae mah thacakhaih, thui laek ai lensawkhaih hoi tamai nuiah angzo Kami capa to hnu o tih.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 Hae baktih hmuen oh amtong naah, nangcae akranghaih loe zoi boeh pongah, khen oh loe, doeng o tahang ah, tiah a naa.
But when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near.”
29 To pacoengah nihcae khaeah hae patahhaih hae a thuih pae; Thaiduet thing hoi thingnawk boih to khen oh;
He told them a parable. “See the fig tree and all the trees.
30 aqam kanawk tacawt naah, nipui tue loe zoi boeh, tiah na panoek o.
When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near.
31 To baktih toengah, hae baktih kaom hmuennawk hae na hnuk o naah, Sithaw prae loe zoi boeh, tito panoek oh.
Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that God’s Kingdom is near.
32 Loktang kang thuih o, hae hmuennawk akoep ai karoek to hae dung ih kaminawk laem o boih mak ai vop.
Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished.
33 Van hoi long anghma tih: toe ka lok loe anghmaa mak ai.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.
34 Nangmacae hoi nangmacae to acoehaih hoiah om oh, to tih ai nahaeloe caaknaek amthlai hmoekhaih, mu naek hmoekhaih, hae long nui khosak mawnhaih hoi poek angpho nathuem ah, poek ai pui hoiah to ani to pha moeng tih.
“So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly.
35 To ni loe long nuiah kaom kaminawk boih nuiah thaang baktiah angzo tih.
For it will come like a snare on all those who dwell on the surface of all the earth.
36 To pongah hae kaom han koi hmuennawk hoiah na loih o moe, Kami Capa hmaa ah nang doet o thai hanah, lawkthuih toepsoephaih hoiah zing oh, tiah a naa.
Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
37 Anih loe khodai naah tempul thungah kaminawk to patuk moe, khoving naah Olive, tiah kawk ih mae nuiah oh hanah a caeh.
Every day Jesus was teaching in the temple, and every night he would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet.
38 Anih ih lok tahngai hanah kaminawk boih khawnbang khawnthaw ah tempul ah caeh o.
All the people came early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him.
