Your gold and your silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be for a testimony against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up your treasure in the last days.
4 Khenah, na lawk ah toksah kaminawk ih toksakhaih atho to na paek o ai, nihcae to na ling o pongah, toksah kaminawk loe hang o: caang aat kaminawk qahhaih lok to Sabaoth Angraeng ih naa ah phak boeh.
Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Hosts.
5 Nangcae loe phuhnaephaih hoi taksa nawmhaih hoiah hae long nuiah kho na sak o; ani phak naah boh hanah suek ih maitaw baktiah, na thawk o hruk boeh.
You have lived in luxury on the earth, and taken your pleasure. You have nourished your hearts as in a day of slaughter.
6 Nangcae ih lok aek ai, katoeng kaminawk to lok na caek o moe, na hum o boeh.
You have condemned and you have murdered the righteous one. He doesn’t resist you.

Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.

You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
9 Nawkamyanawk, maeto hoi maeto angzoeh o hmah, to tih ai nahaeloe lokcaekhaih na hnu o moeng tih: khenah, lokcaekkung loe thok taengah angdoet boeh.
Don’t grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won’t be judged. Behold, the judge stands at the door.
10 Nawkamyanawk, Angraeng ih ahmin hoi lok taphong tahmaanawk ih patangkhanghaih, pauephaih hoi palungsawkhaih to kuu la oh.
Take, brothers, for an example of suffering and of perseverance, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
11 Khenah, raihaih pauep thaih kaminawk loe tahamhoihaih hnu kami ah oh o, tiah poekhaih a tawnh o. Job palungsawkhaih to na thaih o boeh, Angraeng loe palungnathaih hoiah koi pongah, boenghaih niah Angraeng mah anih han sak pae ih hmuen to na panoek o boeh.
Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
12 Toe nawkamyanawk, hmuen boih ah lokkamhaih to sah o hmah, van hoiah maw, to tih ai boeh loe long hoiah maw lokkamhaih to sah o hmah, kawbaktih kasae lokkamhaih doeh sah o hmah: tangtang ni, tiah na thuih o ih lok loe, tangtang ah om nasoe loe, tangtang ai, tiah na thuih o ih lok loe, tangtang ai ah om nasoe, to tih ai nahaeloe lokcaekhaih na tong o moeng tih.
But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear—not by heaven, or by the earth, or by any other oath; but let your “yes” be “yes”, and your “no”, “no”, so that you don’t fall into hypocrisy.

Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises.
14 Nangcae thungah nganna kami oh maw? Kricaa zaehoikung kacoehta to kawk nasoe; Angraeng ih ahmin hoiah situi bawh nasoe loe, lawkthui pae nasoe.
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;
15 Tanghaih hoi lawkthuihaih mah ngantuisak ueloe, Angraeng mah anih to pathawk tih; anih mah zaehaih sah moeng cadoeh, a zaehaihnawk to tahmen pae tih.
and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
16 Ngan na tui o thai hanah, maeto hoi maeto sakpazaehaih taphong oh, maeto hoi maeto hanah lawkthui oh. Kaciim kami maeto mah palung tang hoi lawkthuihaih loe kating ai atho oh.
Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
17 Elijah loe aicae baktiah taksa hoi kaom kami maeto toeng ni, toe anih loe kho angzoh han ai ah loktangta hoiah lawk a thuih, to naah saning thumto hoi khrah tarukto thung long nuiah kho angzo ai.
Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it didn’t rain on the earth for three years and six months.

Brothers, if any among you wanders from the truth and someone turns him back,
20 kami zae caeh pazaehaih loklam thung hoiah angqoisak let kami loe, duekhaih thung hoiah pakhra to pahlong ueloe, pop parai zaehaihnawk to kraeng pae tih, tiah kaom lok to anih mah panoek nasoe.
let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
