“Keep silent before me, islands, and let the peoples renew their strength. Let them come near, then let them speak. Let’s meet together for judgment.
2 Ni angzae bang ih ukkung omsak kami loe mi aa? Mi mah maw anih khaeah acaengnawk hoi siangphrangnawk uk hanah paek? Misanawk loe anih ih sumsen hmaa ah maiphu baktih, anih ih kalii hmaa ah tavai baktiah anghaehsak phaeng loe mi aa?
Who has raised up one from the east? Who called him to his feet in righteousness? He hands over nations to him and makes him rule over kings. He gives them like the dust to his sword, like the driven stubble to his bow.

The islands have seen, and fear. The ends of the earth tremble. They approach, and come.
6 Krang bok kaminawk loe angmacae imtaeng kami to abomh o moe, nihcae khaeah, mawn o hmah, tiah a thuih pae o.
Everyone helps his neighbor. They say to their brothers, “Be strong!”
7 Thing tok sah kop kami mah sui sah kop kami to thapaek, cakii daeng thaih kami mah sumdaeng kami to pahruek moe, sumtui pakaw kami khaeah, sum patomh han hoih boeh, tiah a naa; a sak o ih krang anghuenh han ai ah sum hoiah takhing o caeng.
So the carpenter encourages the goldsmith. He who smooths with the hammer encourages him who strikes the anvil, saying of the soldering, “It is good;” and he fastens it with nails, that it might not totter.
8 Toe nang, Israel loe, ka tamna ah ni na oh, Jakob to ka qoih, Abraham ih caa loe kai ih ampui ah ni oh.
“But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham my friend,

you whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called from its corners, and said to you, ‘You are my servant. I have chosen you and have not cast you away.’

Do not you be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Khenah, nangcae palungphui thuih kaminawk loe azathaih tawn o tih; nihcae loe tidoeh angcoeng o mak ai, anghmaa angtaa o boih tih.
Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.
12 Misanawk to na pakrong o tih, toe na hnu o mak ai; nangcae tuh kami, misa ah kaom kaminawk loe tidoeh na ai ni, tiah doeh angcoeng o mak ai.
You will seek them, and will not find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing.
13 Kai loe nangcae ih Angraeng Sithaw ah ka oh baktih toengah, nangcae ih bantang ban ka patawnh moe, nangcae khaeah, Zii o hmah; kang bomh o han hmang.
For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Do not be afraid. I will help you.’
14 Aw sadong Jakob, Israel kaminawk, zii o hmah; kang bomh o han hmang, tiah nangcae akrangkung, Ciimcai Israel Sithaw mah thuih boeh.
Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel. I will help you,” says the LORD. “Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Behold, I have made you into a new sharp threshing instrument with teeth. You will thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and will make the hills like chaff.

You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, and the whirlwind will scatter them. You will rejoice in the LORD. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.
17 Amtang kaminawk hoi kavawt kaminawk mah tui to pakrong o, toe tui om ai pongah, tui anghaeh loiah palai to zaek pae o; toe Kai, Angraeng mah nihcae ih lok to ka tahngaih pae, Kai, Ciimcai Israel Sithaw mah nihcae to pahnawt sut mak ai.
The poor and needy seek water, and there is none. Their tongue fails for thirst. I, the LORD, will answer them. I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
18 Maesang ah tui ka longsak moe, azawn ah tui ka pueksak han; praezaek to tuibap ah kang coengsak moe, long karoem ahmuen ah tui ka pueksak han.
I will open rivers on the bare heights, and springs in the middle of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
19 Praezaek ah Sidar thing, Akasia thing, hmuihoih aqam kahing thing hoi olive thingnawk to ka thling han; praezaek ah hmaica thing, saiprass thing hoi aqam kahing pine thingnawk to nawnto ka thling han;
I will put cedar, acacia, myrtle, and oil trees in the wilderness. I will set cypress trees, pine, and box trees together in the desert;
20 to hmuen to nihcae mah hnu o tih, to naah Angraeng, Ciimcai Israel Sithaw mah ni sak, tiah nihcae mah panoek o tih.
that they may see, know, consider, and understand together, that the LORD’s hand has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it.
21 Angraeng mah, acaeng kalah kaminawk ih sithawnawk khaeah, Nangcae lok angaekhaih kawng to na patuek oh, tang han koi kaom hmuen to na sin oh, tiah Jakob ih Siangpahrang mah thuih.
Produce your cause,” says the LORD. “Bring out your strong reasons!” says the King of Jacob.

“Let them announce and declare to us what will happen! Declare the former things, what they are, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or show us things to come.
23 Hmabang kaom han koi hmuennawk to na thui o noek ah, to tiah ni nangcae loe sithawnawk ah na oh o tangtang, tiah ka panoek o thai tih; ue, kaicae dawnrai moe, ka hnuk o hanah, kahoih hmuen maw, to tih ai boeh loe kasae hmuen maw sah o noek ah.
Declare the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods. Yes, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and see it together.
24 Khenah, nangcae loe tidoeh na ai ni, na toksakhaih doeh azom pui ni; nangcae qoi kami loe panuet thoh.
Behold, you are nothing, and your work is nothing. He who chooses you is an abomination.
25 Aluek bang hoiah kami maeto ka pathawk han, anih to angzo tih; anih loe ni angzae bang hoiah angzo ueloe, anih mah ka hmin to kawk tih; laom sahkung mah amlai long to cawh baktih toengah, ukkungnawk to cawh tih.
“I have raised up one from the north, and he has come, from the rising of the sun, one who calls on my name, and he shall come on rulers as on mortar, and as the potter treads clay.
26 Kaicae mah panoek thai hanah tangsuek na hoiah mi mah maw hae hmuen kawng hae thuih? Anih loe toeng, tiah ka thuih o thai hanah, mi mah maw canghnii hoiah thui coek? Ue, panoeksak kami mi doeh om ai; ue, mi mah doeh thui ai, ue, nangcae khae ih lok to mi mah doeh thaih o ai.
Who has declared it from the beginning, that we may know? and before, that we may say, ‘He is right’? Surely, there is no one who declares. Surely, there is no one who shows. Surely, there is no one who hears your words.
27 Zion ah thui tangsuek loe Kai ni, Khenah, nihcae to khenah! Kahoih tamthanglok sinkung to Jerusalem ah ka patoeh han.
I am the first to say to Zion, ‘Behold, look at them;’ and I will give one who brings good news to Jerusalem.
28 Ka khet, toe mi doeh om ai; nihcae thungah lokthui kami mi doeh om o ai; nihcae to lok ka dueng naah, pathim thaih kami maeto doeh om o ai.
When I look, there is no man, even among them there is no counselor who, when I ask, can answer a word.
29 Khenah, nihcae loe azom pui ni; nihcae toksakhaih doeh amsawn ni; a sak o ih krangnawk loe atho om ai, takhi baktiah ni oh o.
Behold, all of their deeds are vanity and nothing. Their molten images are wind and confusion.
