Isaiah 12

1 To na niah loe, Aw Angraeng, nang to kang pakoeh han; ka nuiah palung na phui, toe palung na phuihaih to dip moe, poek nang mongsak boeh.

In that day shalt thou say, “I will praise thee, O Jehovah, for, though thou hast been angry with me, Thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortest me.

2 Khenah, Sithaw loe kai pahlongkung ah oh; ka zii mak ai, kang oep haih han; Angraeng JEHOVAH loe, ka thacakhaih hoi laa ah oh; anih loe ka pahlonghaih ah oh boeh, tiah na thui tih.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; For Jehovah is my glory, and my song; It is he who was my salvation.”

3 To pongah pahlonghaih tuibap akhaw thung ih tui to anghoehaih hoiah na doh o tih boeh.

Ye shall draw waters with joy from the fountains of salvation;

4 To na niah nangcae mah, Angraeng to saphaw oh; anih ih ahmin to kawk oh, a sak ih hmuennawk to prae kaminawk boih han panoek o sak ah loe, anih ih ahmin to saphaw oh.

And in that day ye shall say, “Give thanks to Jehovah; call upon his name; Make known his deeds among the people; Give praises, for his name is exalted!

5 Kahoih koek hmuen to a sak boeh pongah, Angraeng khaeah laa to sah oh; hae hae long kaminawk boih mah panoek o nasoe.

Sing to Jehovah, for he hath done glorious things; Be this known in all the earth!

6 Aw Zion kaminawk, tha hoi hang oh loe, anghoehaih hoiah laa to sah oh; Ciimcai Israel Sithaw loe nangcae salakah lensawkhaih hoiah oh, tiah na thui o tih.

Cry aloud, shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee!”
