< Hebru 9 >

1 Kaom tangsuek lokmaihaih pongah loe Sithaw bokhaih atawknawk hoi long nuiah kaom bokhaih hmuenciim to oh.
Now indeed even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and an earthly sanctuary.
2 Kahni im to sak o; hmaloe koek ih kahni imthung ah loe hmai paaanghaih, caboi hoi takaw to oh; to ahmuen to ciimcai ahmuen, tiah kawk o.
For a tabernacle was prepared. In the first part were the lamp stand, the table, and the show bread, which is called the Holy Place.
3 Hnetto haih payang ih kahni hnukbangah loe Ciimcai Koek, tiah kawk ih kahni im to oh;
After the second veil was the tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies,
4 to ahmuen ah loe hmuihoih thlaekhaih sui sabae, sui hoi pazut ih lokmaihaih thingkhong to oh, to thingkhong thungah manna suekhaih sui laom, tadok tacawt Aron ih cunghet hoi lokmaihaih thlung kangphaek to oh;
having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
5 to thingkhong nuiah loe lensawk Cherubim mah khuk ih palungnathaih Angraeng tangkhang to oh; to hmuennawk kawng loe vaihi kakoep ah a thui o thai mak ai vop.
and above it cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, of which things we can’t speak now in detail.
6 Hmuennawk boih hae tiah paroep pacoengah, qaimanawk loe Sithaw toksak hanah hmaloe koek ih kahni im thungah a caeh o toepsoep.
Now these things having been thus prepared, the priests go in continually into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services,
7 Toe qaima khue ni saningto naah vaito hnetto haih kahni imthungah akun thaih, qaima mataeng doeh angmah ih zaehaih hoi kaminawk ih sakpazaehaih to loihsak hanah, athii sin ai ah loe akun ai:
but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and for the errors of the people.
8 hmaloe koek ih kahni im oh nathung, Ciimcai Koek ahmuen thungah akunhaih loklam to amtueng ai vop, tiah Kacai Muithla mah hnuksak:
The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place wasn’t yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing.
9 to kahni im loe vaihi thuem ah kaom hmuen to hnuksak ih ni, tangqum paekhaih hoi angbawnhaih mah kasae kahoih panoekhaih palung to ciimsak ai, to tiah Sithaw bokhaih toksah kami to doeh akoephaih paek ai;
This is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect,
10 to baktih caakhaih, naekhaih, congca ciimcaihaih, taksa hoi kasaeng toksakhaih atawk kangquem loe pakhraihaih kangtha om ai nathung khue ni oh.
being only (with foods and drinks and various washings) fleshly ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.
11 Kri loe kami mah ban hoi sak ih na ai, hae im doeh na ai, kalen kue moe, kakoep kue kahni im thungah kaom han koi kahoih hmuennawk ih qaima ah ni angzoh,
But Messiah having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,
12 Anih loe maeh thii hoi maitaw caa athii hoiah na ai ah, angmah ih athii hoiah ciimcai ahmuen thungah vaito akunh moe, aicae hanah dungzan akranghaih to hnuk. (aiōnios g166)
nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption. (aiōnios g166)
13 Ciimcai ai kaminawk nuiah maitaw tae ih athii, maeh thii hoi maitaw amno ih maiphu haehhaih mah nihcae ih takpum to ciimsak nahaeloe,
For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh,
14 coek koi kaom ai dungzan Muithla rang hoiah angmah hoi angmah Sithaw khaeah kangpaek, Kri ih athii mah cae loe kawkruk maw, kahing Sithaw ih toksak hanah kadueh toksakhaih thung hoiah kasae kahoih panoekhaih palung to ciimsak aep tih? (aiōnios g166)
how much more will the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (aiōnios g166)
15 To pongah duekhaih rang hoiah kaom hmaloe lokmaihaih tlim ah kaom kaminawk ih zaehaih to akrang moe, kawk ih kaminawk mah dungzan lokmaihaih qawk toep o thai hanah, anih loe lokmaihaih kangtha Laicaeh ah oh. (aiōnios g166)
For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (aiōnios g166)
16 Hmuenmae pongah lokmaihaih sak naah doeh a koehhaih to caksak hanah, lokmaihaih sahkung duekhaih to patuek han angaih.
For where a last will and testament is, there must of necessity be the death of him who made it.
17 To lokmaihaih sahkung hing nathung, lokmaihaih loe cak thai ai vop: kami to duek pacoengah ni lokmaihaih to caak vop.
For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it lives.
18 To pongah hmaloe lokmaihaih mataeng doeh athii hoiah ni caksak.
Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood.
19 Mosi mah kaminawk boih khaeah kaalok to kroek pae naah, maitaw caa athii, maeh athii, tui, kamling tuumui hoi hyssop thing tanghang to lak pacoengah, Cabu hoi kaminawk boih to athii hoiah a haeh,
For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Torah, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
20 anih mah, hae loe Sithaw mah nangcae khaeah paek ih lokmaihaih athii ah oh, tiah a thuih pae.
saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.”
21 To baktih toengah kahni im hoi toksakhaih hmuenmaenawk boih doeh athii hoiah a haeh pae.
He sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the same way with the blood.
22 Kaalok baktih toengah hmuennawk boih athii hoiah ni pasaeh, athii long ai ah loe zae tahmenhaih to om ai.
According to the Torah, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
23 To pongah van ah kaom hmuennawk ih tahlip ah kaom hmuen mataeng doeh hae tiah angbawhaih rang hoiah ciimsak han angaih nahaeloe, van ah kaom tangtang hmuennawk cae loe kahoih kue angbawnhaih hoiah ciimsak han oh.
It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 Kri loe loktang ih tahlip ah kaom, ban hoi sak ih kaciim ahmuen ah akun ai; aicae zuengah Sithaw hmaa ah amtueng hanah, van thungah ni akunh:
For Messiah hasn’t entered into holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;
25 qaima mah Kaciim Koek ahmuen ah kalah athii hoiah saning kruek akun baktih toengah, Anih loe angmah hoi angmah angpaek hanah vaihi hoi vaihi akun ai;
nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own,
26 to tiah vaihi hoi vaihi angpaek nahaeloe, anih loe long oh tangsuek nathuem hoi vai nazetto maw dueh tih boeh: toe vaihi loe angmah hoi angmah angpaekhaih rang hoiah, zaehaih ciimsak hanah, long tue boeng naah vaito ah amtueng kang boeh. (aiōn g165)
or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. (aiōn g165)
27 Kami loe vaito ni dueh tih, to pacoengah lokcaekhaih to om tih:
Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment,
28 to baktih toengah Kri loe paroeai kaminawk ih zaehaih to phawh hanah, angmah hoi angmah vaito ah angpaek kang boeh; to pacoengah loe Anih mah zaehaih ciimsak han ih na ai ah, Anih zing kaminawk pahlong hanah, amtueng let bae vop tih.
so Messiah also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
