1 Sithaw koehhaih rang hoiah Jesu Kri mah patoeh ih kami, Pawl mah, Efisa vangpui ah kaom kaciim kaminawk hoi Kri Jesu ah oepthok kaminawk khaeah ca tarik:
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, to the holy ones who are in Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 Angraeng Jesu Kri, aicae Ampa Sithaw khae hoiah tahmenhaih hoi monghaih nangcae khaeah om nasoe.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
3 Kri rang hoiah van prae Muithla tahamhoihaih aicae han kapaek Sithaw hoi aicae Angraeg Jesu Kri ampa khaeah tahamhoihaih om nasoe,
Blessed [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us in every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ,
4 amlunghaih rang hoiah Sithaw hmaa ah ciimcai moe, coek koi kaom ai ah a oh o thai hanah, aicae loe Anih mah long om ai naah Kri ah qoih boeh,
according as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, for our being holy and unblemished before Him, in love,
5 a koehhaih baktih toengah, Jesu Kri rang hoiah Angmah khaeah a caa ah ohsak hanah, aicae kawng to canghnii hoiah a thuih coek boeh,
having foreordained us to the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
6 A tahmenhaih hoi lensawkhaih pakoeh hanah, palung ih a Capa rang hoiah aicae to talawk boeh.
to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He made us accepted in the beloved,
7 Kathuk a tahmenhaih baktih toengah, anih ih athii rang hoiah angmah ah akranghaih hoi zae tahmenhaih to a hnuk o;
in whom we have the redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of the trespasses, according to the riches of His grace,
8 A tahmenhaih, palunghahaih hoi panoekhaihnawk to paawt ai ah aicae nuiah a kraih boih.
in which He abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
9 A koehhaih hoi angmah ah khokhanhaih baktih toengah, kathuk angmah ih atimhaih to aicae hanah amtuengsak boeh:
having made known to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure, that He purposed in Himself,
10 dung kroekhaih akoep naah, Anih mah van ih hmuen hoi long ih hmuennawk boih, Kri ah maeto omsak tih:
in regard to the dispensation of the fullness of the times, to bring into one the whole in the Christ, both the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth—in Him;
11 hmuennawk boih a koehhaih baktiah sahkung loe, atimhaih a tawnh baktih toengah, aicae loe anih rang hoiah qawk a hnuk o boeh, tiah canghnii hoiah a thuihcoek boeh.
in whom also we obtained an inheritance, being foreordained according to the purpose of Him who is working all things according to the counsel of His will,
12 Kri ah oephaih tawn hmaloe aicae loe a lensawkhaih pakoeh kami ah a om o tih.
for our being to the praise of His glory, [even] those who first hoped in the Christ,
13 Loktang lok ah kaom, nangcae pahlonghaih kahoih tamthanglok na thaih o pacoengah ni, nangcae mah doeh anih tanghaih to na tawnh o: anih to na tang o boeh pongah, nangcae loe lokkamhaih kacai Muithla hoiah catui daeng boeh,
in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth—the good news of your salvation—in whom also having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise,
14 A lensawkhaih pakoeh hanah, lokkam ih Kacai Muithla loe, a qan ih hmuen akranghaih pha ai karoek to, aicae qawktoephaih caksakung ah oh.
which is a deposit of our inheritance, to the redemption of the acquired possession, to the praise of His glory.
15 To pongah Angraeng Jesu tanghaih rang hoiah kaciim kaminawk boih na palung o ti, tiah ka thaih naah,
Because of this I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and the love to all the holy ones,
16 nangcae han boeng ai ah kawnhaih lawk ka thuih, nangcae han lawkthuih ka pahnet ai.
do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
17 Aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri ih Sithaw, lensawk Ampa mah, anih panoekhaih hoi palunghahaih muithla ang paek o thai hanah, lawk ka thuih:
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the recognition of Him,
18 oep kaom anih kawkhaih to na panoek o thaih han, nangcae ih palung mik aangsak moe, kaciim kaminawk mah toep han ih lensawk qawk to na panoek o thai han hoi,
the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, for your knowing what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the holy ones,
19 kalen a thacakhaih hoiah toksak baktih toengah, aicae tangcaanawk khaeah kalen parai a thacakhaih amtuengsak hanah,
and what the exceeding greatness of His power to us who are believing, according to the working of the power of His might,
20 to thacakhaih mah Kri ah toksak naah, Anih to duekhaih thung hoiah pathawk moe, Anih to van prae ah Angmah ih bantang bangah anghnutsak:
which He worked in the Christ, having raised Him out of the dead, and sat [Him] at His right hand in the heavenly [places],
21 Anih loe hmuennawk boih ranui ah angraenghaih, akaa tawnhaih, thacakhaih hoi ukhaih to tawnh, hae long nuiah khue ai, angzo han koi long ah doeh ahmin paek ih ahminnawk boih ranui ah oh, (aiōn g165)
far above all principality, and authority, and might, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one; (aiōn g165)
22 hmuennawk boih a khok tlim ah a suek moe, kricaabu boih ih lu ah ohhaih to anih khaeah paek boeh,
and He put all things under His feet, and gave Him—head over all things to the Assembly,
23 to kricaabu loe tih boih boih, hmuennawk boih hoiah kakoi anih akoephaih angmah ih takpum ah oh.
which is His body, the fullness of Him who is filling all in all.
