And it came to pass in Iconium, that they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and spoke, so that there believed a great multitude of both Jews and Greeks;
2 Toe katang ai Judahnawk mah Gentelnawk to pacuek o, nawkamyanawk mah koeh han ai ah, lok aek koehhaih palungthin a tawnh o thai hanah pahruek o.
and the unbelieving Jews stirred up and made the souls of the nations evil against the brothers;
3 To vangpui ah atue kasawk cam hoi moe, misahoihhaih hoiah Angraeng ih lok to a thuih hoi, Anih ih tahmenhaih lok taphong hoi moe, dawnraihaih hoi angmathaih hmuen sak thaihaih doeh nihnik banah paek.
[for a] long time, indeed, therefore, they abided speaking boldly in the LORD, who is testifying to the word of His grace, and granting signs and wonders to come to pass through their hands.

And the multitude of the city was divided, and some were with the Jews, and some with the apostles,

and when there was a purpose both of the nations and of the Jews with their rulers to mistreat [them], and to stone them,
6 toe nihnik mah panoek hoi pongah, Likaonia kaminawk ih vangpui Lystra hoi Derbe ah cawnh hoi taak ving, to ahmuen hoiah a taeng ih avang ah a caeh hoi.
they having become aware, fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, and Derbe, and the surrounding region,

and there they were proclaiming good news.
8 Lystra vangpui ah amno zok thung hoi khokkhaem moe, lam caeh vai ai kami maeto oh:
And a certain man in Lystra, impotent in the feet, was sitting, being lame from the womb of his mother—who never had walked;

this one was hearing Paul speaking, who, having steadfastly beheld him, and having seen that he has faith to be saved,

said with a loud voice, “Stand up on your feet upright”; and he was springing and walking,
11 Pawl mah sak ih hmuen to paroeai kaminawk mah hnuk o naah, Likaonia kaminawk ih lok hoiah sithawnawk loe kami baktiah aicae khaeah angzoh tathuk boeh, tiah hangh o.
and the multitudes having seen what Paul did, lifted up their voice in the speech of Lycaonia, saying, “The gods, having become like men, came down to us”;
12 Nihcae mah Barnabas to Zeus, tiah kawk o; Paul loe lokthuikung ah oh pongah, Hermes, tiah kawk o.
they were also calling Barnabas Zeus, and Paul Hermes, since he was the leader in speaking.
13 Zeus sithaw ih toksah qaima loe vangpui hma ah kaom angmah ih tempul hoiah, maitaw tae hoi apawk tangoengnawk to khongkha ah sinh moe, kaminawk hoi nawnto angbawnhaih sak hanah amsak.
And the priest of the Zeus that is before their city, having brought oxen and garlands to the porches, wished to sacrifice with the multitudes,
14 Toe patoeh ih kami, Pawl hoi Barnabas mah to lok to thaih hoi naah, nihnik mah kahni to asih hoi moe, kaminawk salakah a cawnh hoi,
and having heard, the apostles Barnabas and Paul, having torn their garments, sprung into the multitude, crying
15 tipongah hae baktih hmuen sak hanah nam sak o loe? Kaihnik loe nangcae hoi kanghmong kami toeng ni, tidoeh avang ai, hae hmuen hae na caeh o taak moe, van hoi long, tuipui hoi a thungah kaom hmuennawk boih sahkung kahing Sithaw khaeah, nam laem o han ih ni, nangcae khaeah kahoih tamthanglok kang thuih hoi:
and saying, “Men, why do you do these things? And we are similar-feeling men with you, proclaiming good news to you, to turn to the living God from these vanities, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all the things in them;

who in the past generations permitted all the nations to go on in their ways,
17 Toe Anih loe hnukung om ai ah, angmah bueng om sut ai, aicae hanah kahoih hmuen ang sak pae, aicae han van hoiah kho angzohsak, kahoih thingthai qumpo, kahoih khotue to paek, caaknaek to paek moe, aicae ih palungthin doeh poeknawmhaih hoiah koisak, tiah a naa.
though, indeed, He did not leave Himself without witness, doing good—giving rains to us from Heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness”;

and saying these things, they scarcely restrained the multitudes from sacrificing to them.
19 Antiok hoi Ikonium ah kaom Judahnawk angzoh o moe, paroeai kaminawk to pacae o, Pawl to thlung hoiah vah o, anih loe duek boeh, tiah poek o pongah, vangpui tasa bangah a zaeh o.
And there came there, from Antioch and Iconium, Jews, and they having persuaded the multitudes, and having stoned Paul, drew him outside of the city, having supposed him to be dead;
20 Toe hnukbang kaminawk anih taengah angdoet o naah, Pawl loe angthawk moe, vangpui thungah a caeh let: khawnbangah loe Barnabas hoi nawnto Derbe vangpui ah a caeh.
and the disciples having surrounded him, having risen he entered into the city, and on the next day he went forth with Barnabas to Derbe.
21 Nihnik loe to vangpui ah kahoih tamthanglok to thuih hoi moe, paroeai kaminawk to patuk hoi pacoengah, Lystra, Ikonium hoi Antiok ah amlaem hoi.
Having also proclaimed good news to that city, and having discipled many, they turned back to Lystra, and Iconium, and Antioch,
22 Hnukbang kaminawk poekcak o thai hanah lok a thuih pae hoi moe, tanghaih ah oh o poe hanah thapaekhaih lok a thuih pae hoi, Paroeai patangkhanghaih hoiah ni, aicae ih Sithaw mah siangpahrang ah uk ih prae thungah akun han oh, tiah a thuih pae hoi.
confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting to remain in the faith, and that it is required of us to enter into the Kingdom of God through many tribulations,
23 Kricaabu kruekah kacoehtanawk to suek pae hoi moe, buhzahhaih hoiah lawk a thuih pae hoi pacoengah, nihcae mah tang o ih Angraeng khaeah to kaminawk to tathlang pae hoi.
and having appointed to them elders in every assembly by vote, having prayed with fastings, they commended them to the LORD in whom they had believed.

And having passed through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia,

and having spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia,
26 Toksak pacoeng hoi boeh pongah, Sithaw tahmenhaih thungah takpum ang paek hoi haih Antiok vangpui ah palong hoiah a caeh hoi let.
and [from] there sailed to Antioch, from where they had been given by the grace of God for the work that they fulfilled;
27 Antiok vangpui a phak hoi naah loe, kricaanawk nawnto amkhueng o, nihnik patohhaih rang hoiah Sithaw mah sak ih hmuennawk boih, kawbangmaw Anih mah Gentelnawk khaeah tanghaih thok paong pae, tito a thuih pae hoi.
and having come and gathered the assembly together, they declared as many things as God did with them, and that He opened a door of faith to the nations;

and they abided there with the disciples [for] not a short time.
