2 Korin 9

1 Kaciim kaminawk khaeah phoisa paekhaih kawng loe nangcae khaeah tarik han angai ai boeh:

It is indeed unnecessary for me to write to you concerning the service to the holy ones,

2 nangcae loe kami abomh koehhaih palungthin na tawnh o, tito ka panoek, to pongah Akaia prae kaminawk loe hnukbang saning hoi boeh ni hmuenmae hoi abom hanah amsak o boeh, tiah Macedonia kaminawk khaeah kam oek haih; nangcae paek koehhaih palungthin mah kalah paroeai kaminawk doeh paek koehhaih palung angthawk sak.

for I know your readiness, of which I boast on your behalf to those of Macedonia, that Achaia has been prepared for the past year. Your zeal has stirred up very many of them.

3 Nangcae kam oek haih lok to azom pui ah oh han ai ah, kam oek haih lok baktih toengah, na oh o coek hanah, nawkamyanawk to kang patoeh:

But I have sent the brothers so that our boasting on your behalf may not be in vain in this respect, that, just as I said, you may be prepared,

4 kai hoi nawnto angzo Macedonia kaminawk mah, phoisa paek hanah na om o coek ai vop, tiah panoek o nahaeloe, nangcae kam oek o haih to (nangcae to, ka thui o ai) kawkruk maw azathaih ka tongh o tih!

lest by any means, if anyone from Macedonia comes there with me and finds you unprepared, we (to say nothing of you) would be disappointed in this confident boasting.

5 To pongah na paek o ih tangqum loe paeksak nganga ih tangqum na ai, paek koehhaih palungthin hoiah paek ih tangqum ah ni oh, lok na thuih o tangcae baktih toengah, tangqum to suekcoek thai hanah, nawkamyanawk to nangcae khaeah kang patoeh hmaloe han angaih, tiah poekhaih ka tawnh.

I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brothers that they would go before to you and arrange ahead of time the generous gift that you promised before, that the same might be ready as a matter of generosity, and not of greediness.

6 Hae tiah ka thuih, Zetta ah tuh kami loe zetta ah aat tih; kapop ah tuh kami loe pop ah aat toeng tih.

Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

7 Kami boih mah, Paawthaih palungthin hoiah na ai, paek han angaih khruek pongah doeh na ai, a paek koehhaih palungthin hoiah paek nasoe; anghoehaih hoi paek kami to Sithaw mah palung.

Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

8 Anih loe hmuennawk to khawt ah na tawnh o boih moe, kahoih toknawk na sak o aep thai hanah, tahamhoihaih boih paek thaih Sithaw ah oh.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.

9 (Anih loe Kapop ah haeh moe, amtang kaminawk hanah a paek boeh: Anih toenghaih loe dungzan khoek to cak, tiah tarik ih oh. (aiōn g165)

As it is written, “He has scattered abroad. He has given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever.” (aiōn g165)

10 Aanmu haeh kami khaeah aanmu paekkung, caaknaek pakrong kami hanah caaknaek paekkung mah, na toeng o haih thingthai to pungsak ueloe, na haeh o ih aanmu to qoengsak tih; )

Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

11 minawk na bom o thaih poe hanah, hmuennawk boih ah nang raeng o tih; na bomh o ih hmuennawk to nihcae han ka paek o naah, paroeai kaminawk mah Sithaw khaeah kawnhaih lawkthui o tih.

you being enriched in everything for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us.

12 Hae baktih toksakhaih loe amtang kaciim kaminawk abom khue na ai ah, paroeai kaminawk Sithaw khaeah kawnhaih lawkthuih koehhaih palungthin doeh ohsak;

For this service of giving that you perform not only makes up for lack among the holy ones, but abounds also through much giving of thanks to God,

13 kahoih Kri tamthanglok to na tahngaih o moe, tanghaih na tawnh o, kaciim kaminawk hoi kami boih hanah, paek koehhaih palungthin hoiah tangqum na paek o, tito nam tueng o sak naah, kaminawk mah Sithaw pakoeh o tih;

seeing that through the proof given by this service, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the Good News of Messiah and for the generosity of your contribution to them and to all,

14 nihcae tahamhoihaih paek hanah Sithaw tahmenhaih nangcae thungah oh pongah, nangcae hnuk han a koeh o, nangcae han lawk ang thuih pae o.

while they themselves also, with supplication on your behalf, yearn for you by reason of the exceeding grace of God in you.

15 Thuilaek ai angmah ih tangqum pongah, Sithaw khaeah pakoehhaih om nasoe!

Now thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift!
