< 2 Korin 4 >

1 Kaicae loe hae baktih toksahkung ah a oh o moe, palungnathaih a hnuk o pongah, tha a zok o ai;
Therefore, since it is by God’s mercy that we are engaged in this ministry, we do not lose heart.
2 tamquta hoi sak ih azat kathok hmuennawk to ka takhoe o moe, minawk aling han poek angkawnhaih hoiah Sithaw lok ka thui o ai; minawk mah ang tang o thai hanah, loktang lok to ni ka thuih o, tito Sithaw mah panoek.
No, we have renounced the secrecy prompted by shame, refusing to adopt crafty ways, or to tamper with God’s Message, and commending ourselves to every man’s conscience, in the sight of God, by our exhibition of the Truth.
3 Ka thuih o ih kahoih tamthanglok to hawk o ving cadoeh, anghmaa angtaa kaminawk hanah ni hawk o tih:
And, even if the Good News that we bring is veiled, it is veiled only in the case of those who are on the path to Ruin —
4 Sithaw krang ah kaom, Kri lensawkhaih kahoih tamthanglok aanghaih to, nihcae mah hnuk o thai han ai ah, hae long sithaw mah katang ai kaminawk ih palung to maengsak. (aiōn g165)
Men whose minds have been blinded by the God of this Age, unbelievers as they are, so that the light from the Good News of the glory of the Christ, who is the very incarnation of God, should not shine for them. (aiōn g165)
5 Kaicae loe kaimacae koeh ah lok ka thui o ai, Kri Jesu loe Angraeng ah ohhaih kawng hoi Jesu pongah kaicae loe nangcae ih tamna ah ka oh o haih kawng to ni ka taphong o.
(For it is not ourselves that we proclaim, but Christ Jesus, as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.)
6 Sithaw mah, Kaving thung hoiah aanghaih om nasoe, tiah lokpaek. Sithaw lensawkhaih loe Jesu Kri ah oh, tiah na panoek thai hanah, aicae palung thungah aanghaih to paek.
Indeed, the same God who said ‘Out of darkness light shall shine,’ has shone in upon our hearts, so that we should bring out into the light the knowledge of the glory of God, seen in the face of Christ.
7 Toe lensawk thacakhaih loe kaicae ih na ai ni, Sithaw khae hoiah ni angzoh, kaicae loe long laom thungah suek ih tacong baktiah ni ka oh o.
This treasure we have in these earthen vessels, that its all-prevailing power may be seen to come from God, and not to be our own.
8 Ahmuen kruekah raihaih ka tongh o, toe kam ro o ai; anghmanghaih hoiah kho ka sak o, toe palung ka boeng o ai;
Though hard pressed on every side, we are never hemmed in; through perplexed, never driven to despair;
9 pacaekthlaekhaih ka tongh o, toe ka toengh o sut ai; kam timh o, toe kam ro o ai;
though pursued, never abandoned; though struck down, never killed!
10 Jesu hinghaih kaicae takpum nuiah amtueng thai toeng hanah, Angraeng Jesu duekhaih kawng to takpum ah ka phawh o poe.
We always bear on our bodies the marks of the death that Jesus died, so that the Life also of Jesus may be exhibited in our bodies.
11 Kadueh thaih kaicae taksa ah Jesu hinghaih amtueng thai hanah, kahing kaicae loe Jesu Kri pongah duek hanah danpaekhaih ka tongh o toepsoep.
Indeed, we who still live are continually being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the Life also of Jesus may be exhibited in our mortal nature.
12 To tiah duekhaih mah kaicae thungah toksak, toe nangcae thungah loe hinghaih mah toksak.
And so, while death is at work within us, Life is at work within you.
13 Ka tang pongah, ka thuih, tiah tarik ih oh; to baktih tanghaih palung to ka tawnh o, tanghaih ka tawnh o pongah, ka thuih o;
But, in the same spirit of faith as that expressed in the words — ‘I believed, and therefore I spoke,’ we, also believe, and therefore speak.
14 Sithaw mah Angraeng Jesu duekhaih thung hoiah pathawk baktih toengah, kaicae doeh Jesu rang hoiah pathawk ueloe, nangcae hoi nawnto angmah hmaa ah na caeh haih tih, tiah ka panoek o.
For we know that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with him, and will bring us, with you, into his presence.
15 Paroeai kaminawk mah Sithaw tahmenhaih to panoek o moe, Sithaw lensawkhaih pakoeh o thai hanah, hmuennawk boih nangcae han ih ni oh.
For all this is for your sakes, that the loving-kindness of God, spreading from heart to heart, may cause yet more hearts to overflow with thanksgiving, to his glory.
16 To pongah tha ka zok o ai; a nui kaom taksa kami hae amro cadoeh, a thungah kaom kami loe ni thokkruek kangtha ah oh.
Therefore, as I said, we do not lose heart. No, even though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
17 Atue setta thung a tongh o ih tetta pacaekthlaekhaih mah, aicae hanah kahoih parai, dungzan lensawkhaih to ohsak; (aiōnios g166)
The light burden of our momentary trouble is preparing for us, in measure transcending thought, a weight of imperishable glory; (aiōnios g166)
18 to pongah kaicae loe kamtueng hmuennawk to ka dan o ai, kamtueng ai hmuennawk to ni ka dan o: ka hnuk o ih hmuennawk loe nawnetta hanah ni oh; toe hnuk ai ih hmuennawk loe dungzan khoek to cak poe. (aiōnios g166)
we, all the while, gazing not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is transient, but what is unseen is imperishable. (aiōnios g166)
