Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:

2 Asaph ih caa Zakkur, Joseph, Nethaniah hoi Asarelah; nihcae loe siangpahrang mah paek ih lok baktih toengah ampa Asaph zaehhoihaih thungah oh o moe, lok to taphong o.

Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.

3 Jeduthun ih caanawk loe Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah hoi Mattithiah, sangqum boih ah tarukto oh o; nihcae loe ampa zaehhoihaih thungah oh o moe, katoeng kruek hoiah lok to taphong o; Angraeng khaeah anghoehaih lok to a thuih o moe, ahmin to saphaw o.

Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise YHWH.

4 Heman ih caanawk loe Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti hoi Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir hoi Mahazioth.

Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:

5 Hae kaminawk loe taki to uengh o, nihcae loe Sithaw lok taphong siangpahrang ih tahmaa Heman capanawk ah oh o; Sithaw mah Heman hanah capa hatlaipalito hoi canu thumto paek.

All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of Elohim, to lift up the horn. And Elohim gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 Hae kaminawk boih loe Asaph, Heman hoi Jeduthun khaeah siangpahrang mah paek ih lok baktih toengah, ampanawk zaehhoihhaih tlim ah Angraeng im ah katoeng kruekhaih, laasakhaih, cingceng bohhaih, aqui pop katoeng kruekhaih, katoeng congca kruekhaih hoiah Angraeng im ah toksah kami ah oh o.

All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of YHWH, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of Elohim, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.

7 Nihcae hoi nawnto Angraeng ih laa kamtuk, angmacae ih nawkamyanawk loe kami cumvai hnet, quitazet, tazetto oh o.

So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of YHWH, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.

8 Nihcae loe angmacae sak han koi taham to khet hanah, kathoeng doeh, kalen doeh, patukkung doeh, amtuk kami doeh phoisa to vah o.

And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.

Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:
