1 Ngpum mhmüp ngawiksik üng, ng'uingnam he jah ceh u lü, nghnumi he ng’uhnüna citki he.
The however on [the] first [day] of the week dawn very early to the tomb they came bringing that they had prepared spices (and certain with them. *K)
2 Acunüng k'utnak üngka lungnu cun akcea ngtäng se hmu u lü,
They found then the stone rolled away from the tomb.
3 lutki he, acunüng Jesuha yawk cun am ami hmuh.
(and *k) Having entered (however *no) not they found the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 Acunüng, acuna phäha ami cäicah k'um üng, khyang nghngih akbawk suisa ni lü, ngdang lawki xawi.
And it came to pass while (perplexing *N+kO) they about this that behold men two stood by them in (garment dazzling. *N+kO)
5 Ami kyühnak am kawp u lü ami ve k'um üng anini naw, “Ivai akthia ksunga akxüng nami suiki ni?
Terrified then were becoming they and bowing (their faces *N+kO) to the ground they said to them; Why seek you the living among the dead?
6 “Hia am ve ti naw, tho be päng ve; Kalilea a ve üng nami veia a ngthu pyen cen süm be ua,
Not He is here but He is risen! do remember how He spoke to you yet being in Galilee
7 ‘khyanga Capa, khyangka hea kut üng mansaka kya khai, kutlamktung üng taih khai he, amhmüp thum üng tho be khaia kyaki,’ a ti cen,” ani ti.
saying The Son of Man that it behooves to be delivered into hands of men sinful and to be crucified and on the third day to arise.
8 Acunüng a pyen süm law be u lü,
And they remembered the declarations of Him,
9 ng’uhnün üngka naw cit beki he naw, xaleiat la akce hea veia acuna mawngma avan cun ami jah mtheh,
And having returned from the tomb they related these things all to the eleven and to all the rest.
10 Acuna nghnumi he cun, Marih Makdalin, Joanah la Jakuka nu Mariha kyaki he; ami veia nghnumi kce he naw pi acuna ngthu cun ngsä he üng ami jah mtheh hnga.
It was now Magdalene Mary and Joanna and Mary the [mother] of James and the other women with them; (who *k) were telling to the apostles these things,
11 Cunsepi acuna ngthu cun ngthu sawxata kba, ia am msui u lü am ami kcangnak.
And appeared before them like folly the declarations (of them *N+kO) and they were not believing in them.
12 Pita tho law lü ng’uhnüna dawngki; acunüng kawp lü tengki naw, jih he däng ve se hmu lü aktäa cäi lü ima cit beki.
But Peter having risen up he ran to the tomb, and having stooped down he sees the linen strips (lying *k) alone and he went away in (himself *NK+o) wondering at that having come to pass.
13 Acuna mhmüp üng axüisaw xawi nghngih, Jerusalem üngka naw mäng khyüh thukia Emawk khawa ani ceh k'um üng,
And behold two of them on same the day were going to a village being distant stadia sixty from Jerusalem whose name [is] Emmaus.
14 Jerusalema iyawa awmih avan sumkyam ni lü citki xawi.
and they themselves were talking with one another about all which having taken place these things.
15 Acukba sumkyam ni lü ani ceh k'um üng, Jesuh naw jah pan law lü ani veia cit hngaki.
And it came to pass during the talking by them and reasoning that Himself Jesus having drawn near He was walking along with them.
16 Jesuh cun ani hmuh te am ani ksing.
but the eyes of them were held not to know Him.
17 Acunüng Jesuh naw, “Nani ceh maha i nani sumkyamki ni?” ti lü jah kthäh se, thuisei ni lü ngdüiki xawi.
He said then to them; What words [are] these that you exchange with one another walking? And (they stood still *N+KO) looking sad.
18 Acunüng, Kalawpah naki naw, “Jerusalem khawa tuhmüngawi iyawa awmih am na ksingkia khin hin nang däng aw?” ti lü a msang.
Answering now (the *k) one (from of them *O) (whose *k) (name *NK+o) Cleopas said to Him; You yourself alone visit (in *k) Jerusalem and not have known the [things] having come to pass in it in days these?
19 Ani naw, “Ia ngkhaw ni?” ti se, anini naw, “Sahma Nazaret Jesuh, Pamhnam ja khyang avana hmuha a pyenksak la a bilawh üng a ngming ngthanga mawng,
And He said to them; What things? And they said to Him; The [things] concerning Jesus (of Nazareth, *N+kO) who was a man a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,
20 ktaiyü ngvai he la mi ngvai he naw hnim vaia ami mso, kutlamktung khana ami taiha mawng cen,
that then delivered up him the chief priests and the rulers of us to [the] judgment of death and crucified Him.
21 Isarel he jah küikyan khaia kami ngaih’uhei, acuna kyanak cun tuhngawi üng mhmüp thum law pängki.
We ourselves however were hoping that He himself it is who is about to redeem Israel. But indeed (also *no) with all these things [the] third this day brings (today *ko) away from which these things came to pass.
22 “Acuna thea pi kami vei üngka nghnumi he, khaw ngawilam ksika a ng'uhnak ng’uhnüna va cit u lü ami jah cäicatei law sak,
However also women certain out from us amazed us Having been (at dawn *N+kO) to the tomb
23 a yawk am hmu u lü, ‘Pamhnama khankhawngsä he ami hmuha ngdang lawki he naw, Ani xüng ve tia pyen ve u,’ ami ti law.
and not having found the body of Him they came declaring also a vision of angels to have seen who say He [is] living.
24 “Acunüng, kami veia ka avang ng’uhnüna cit u lü, nghnumi hea pyen lawa kba, ami va hmuh, cunsepi, amät cun am ami hmuh,” ani ti.
And went some of those with us to the tomb and found [it] so even as also the women said, Him however not they saw.
25 Acunüng, Jesuh naw, “Khyang k'ang he aw, sahma hea pyen avan am kcang na thei khaia angki he aw!
And He himself said to them; O foolish and slow of heart to believe in all that spoke the prophets;
26 Mesijah naw acun avan cun khamei lü a hlüngtainaka lut khaia am kya kungki aw?” a ti.
Surely these things it was necessary for to suffer the Christ and to enter into the glory of Him?
27 Acunüng, Mosi la sahma he avana yük üng tünei lü Pamhnama cangcim avan üng amäta mawngma ng’yuki avana suilam a jah mtheh.
And having begun from Moses and from all the Prophets (He interpreted *N+kO) to them in all the Scriptures the [things] concerning (of Himself. *NK+o)
28 Acunüng, ani cehnak vaia ngnam ani pha law hlü üng, Jesuh cun acuna khaw khye lü, athuknaka cit khaia kba ngtün se,
And they drew near to the village where they were going, and He himself (appeared *N+kO) farther to be going.
29 anini naw, “Kani veia awmeia khaw mü lü khaw pi mthan law hlü ve,” ti ni se, acunüng ani hlawnga awm khaia lutki.
And they constrained Him saying; do abide with us, for toward evening it is and has declined (now *no) the day. And He entered in to abide with them.
30 Acunüng Jesuh naw ani veia buh ei khaia, a ngawh üng, muk lo lü, josenak am kbeki naw, bo lü, a jah pet.
And it came to pass during the reclining of Him with them having taken the bread He blessed [it] and having broken [it] He was giving [it] to them.
31 Acunüng, ani mik vai law se, Jesuh ni tia ani ksing law üng Jesuh cun khyükeiki.
Of them then were opened the eyes and they knew Him; And He himself vanished being seen from them.
32 Acunüng, axüisaw xawi naw, “Lama a jah ngthuheipüi üng, Pamhnama Cangcim he a jah mtheh k’um üng, ni mlung k'uma meidäikia mäih am kyakia kya kung aih se?” tia, animät ngthäh kyuki xawi.
And they said to one another; Surely the heart of us burning it was within us as He was speaking with us on the road (and *k) as He was opening to us the Scriptures?
33 Acun la ngdüi law ni lü Jerusalema cit beki xawi naw, xaleiat he la ani püi he awm hmaihki he cun jah hmu ni se amimi naw,
And having risen up on [that] same hour they returned to Jerusalem and they found (gathered *N+kO) the eleven and those with them
34 “Bawipa tho law be kcang ve, Sihmona veia pi ngdangki ni,” ami ti.
saying that Indeed has risen the Lord and He has appeared to Simon.
35 Acunüng, anini naw pi lam ani ceh k'um üng, akya lawa mawng, muk bo se, a müi ani ksing lawa mawng cun ani pyen hnga.
And they themselves were relating the [things] on the road and how He was known to them in the breaking of the bread.
36 Acuna ngthu ani pyen k'um üng, Jesuh ami ksunga ngdüi law lü, “Nami khana dim’yenak ve se,” a ti.
These things now when they are telling He Himself (Jesus *K) stood in midst of them and says to them; Peace to you.
37 Cunsepi, aktäa ngmüimkhya hmuki hea ngai u lü, ngpyangki he.
Having been terrified however and filled with fear having been they were thinking [themselves] a spirit to see.
38 Cunsepi Jesuh naw, “Ise nami khuikhaki ni? Ise nami mlungmthin k'uma mlung hlawthlatnak awmki ni?
And He said to them; Why troubled are you and through why doubts do come up in (the heart *N+kO) of you?
39 “Ka kut la ka khawpha he jah teng ua keiha ni ka kya ve, na hnet u lü na teng u; nami na hmuha kba ngmüimkhya naw mtisa la yuh am ta naw,” a ti.
do see the hands of Me and the feet of Me that I myself am He himself; do touch Me and do see for a spirit flesh and bones not has even as Me myself you see having.
40 Acukba a pyen khap üng, a kut la a khawpha he a jah mhmuh.
And this having said (He showed *N+kO) to them the hands and the feet.
41 Acunüng, ami jekyai law nganga phäha, am kcang na pha u lü, ami awm k'um üng, Jesuh naw, “Ei vai iyaw nami taki aw?” ti lü, a jah kthäh.
Still now while are disbelieving they for the joy and amazement He said to them; Have you anything to eat here?
42 Acunüng ami sawng päng nga amtawn ami pet.
And they gave to Him of a fish broiled part (and from honeycomb tablet. *KO)
43 Acunüng lo lü ami ma a ei.
And having taken [it] before them He ate [it].
44 Acunüng, Jesuh naw, “Mosia thum, sahma hea cayuknak la mküinaka ng’äi üng, keia mawng ng’yuki avan kümkawi law khai tia, nami hlawnga ka awm üng ka ning jah mtheh khawi cun ahin he ni,” a ti.
He said now (unto *no) (to them; *N+kO) These [are] the words (of mine *NO) which I spoke to you still being with you that it behooves to be fulfilled all things which written in the law of Moses and (in the *no) Prophets and in [the] Psalms concerning Me.
45 Acunüng, Pamhnama ngthu ami ksingnak vaia ami mlung a jah vaisak;
Then He opened their mind to understand the Scriptures
46 acunüng, ami veia, “Mesijah naw khuikhanak khamei lü, amhmüp thum üng thihnak üngka naw tho be khai,
And He said to them that Thus it has been written (and thus it was necessary for *K) Was to suffer the Christ and to rise out from [the] dead on the third day
47 A ngming am, ngjutnaka ngthu la, katnak mhlätnaka ngthu, Jerusalem khaw üngka naw tün lü, khyang avana veia sang khai he, tia ng’yuki,’
and to be proclaimed in the name of Him repentance (to *N+KO) forgiveness of sins to all nations (having begun *N+kO) from Jerusalem.
48 “Nangmi cun ahin hea saksiha nami kyaki ni.
You yourselves (now *k) (are *ko) witnesses of these things,
49 “Acunüng, ka pa naw a pyen nami khana ka tüi law khai; cunsepi, khana johit am nami yah hlana küt üng Jerusalema a na k’äih ua,” a ti.
And behold (I myself am sending *NK+o) the promise of the Father of Mine upon you. you yourselves however do remain in the city (Jerusalem *k) until that you may be clothed with from on high power.
50 Acunüng Jesuh naw axüisaw he mlüh üngka naw Bethanih khawa jah cehpüiki naw a kut säng lü josenak am a jah kbe.
He led now them out until (to *N+kO) Bethany, and having lifted up the hands of Him He blessed them.
51 Acukba josenak a jah pet k’um üng axüisaw hea awmnak üngka naw khankhawa kai beki.
And it came to pass during the blessing by Him them He was separated from them and was carried up into heaven.
52 Axüisaw he cun sawhkhah u lü, jekyai leng leng u lü, Jerusalema nghlat beki he.
And they themselves having worshiped Him returned to Jerusalem with joy great
53 Acunüng, Pamhnam mküimto u lü, Temple üng awm nglätki he.
and were (through *N+KO) (all [times] *N+kO) in the temple (praising and *KO) blessing God. (Amen *K)
