1 Jesuh naw axüisaw he üng, “Katnak üng khyang kyukngtäng sak khaia biloki cun a jo se ve,
He said then to the disciples (of Him; *no) Impossible it is that the stumbling blocks not to come, (but *N+kO) woe [to him] through whom they come!
2 “Hina anghmawca he üngka mat a mkhyekat saka kthaka ta a nghngü üng ksum khawp lü mliktui üng tawnin a hama daw bawk khai ni.
It is better for him if (a stone of a mill *N+kO) is hung around the neck of him and he has been thrown into the sea than that he may cause to stumble little [ones] of these one.
3 “Cäei ua, na bena naw a ning katnak üng na mcäi vai, a ngjut üng na mhlät vai.
do take heed to yourselves. If (now *k) shall sin (against *k) (you *K) the brother of you, do rebuke him; and if he shall repent, do forgive him.
4 “Mhmüp mat üng khyüh vei ning mkhyekat na lü, khyüh vei, ‘ngjut veng’ ti lü, a ning law si üng na mhlät vai,” a ti.
And if seven times in the day (he shall sin *N+kO) against you and seven times (day *k) shall return (to *N+kO) you saying: I repent, you will forgive him.
5 Acunüng ngsä he naw, “Kami jumnak jah pung pea” ti u se,
And said the apostles to the Lord; do add to us faith!
6 Jesuh naw, “Anca ui nglung ata kba jumnak nami tak üng, hina thing üng, ‘Na pya maha ngphawng law lü, mliktuia khana va ngdüia’ ti u lü, nami ngthu ngai khai.
Said then the Lord; If (you have *N+kO) faith like a grain of mustard, you have spoken then would to the mulberry tree this; do be uprooted and do be planted in the sea, and it have obeyed would you.
7 “Cunsepi, nangmi üngka u naw a m'ya lai thawnkia pi kyase, toksäma pi kyase a law be üng, ‘law lü, ei law ktäia’ ti khai aw?
Which now of you a servant having plowing or shepherding, the [one] having come in out of the field will say to him; Immediately having come (do recline? *N+kO)
8 “Acukba am pyen lü, ‘ka ei vai na pyan law pea, na suisak suiawi lü, ka eiawk k’um üng na ngänga. Acunkäna namät ei kaw pi’ am ti khai aw?
But surely he will say to him; do prepare what I may eat, and having girded yourself about do serve me while I may eat and I may drink, and after these things you will eat and will drink you yourself?’
9 “M'ya naw a mahpa a pyena kba a bilawha phäha a mahpa naw, ‘Na bä ni’ ti khai aw? Am ti.
Not is he thankful to the servant (that [one] *k) because he did the [things] having been commanded (to him not I think? *K)
10 “Acukba ngthupet he avan nami jah pawh käna, ‘Keimi hin kami mahpa kami jekyai sakia am kya naw, kami pawh kung vai kami pawhki ni,’ ti ua” a ti.
Thus also you yourselves, when you may have done all the [things] having been commanded you, do say that Servants unworthy are we; (for *k) that which (we were obliged *NK+o) to do we have done.
11 Acunüng hinkba kyaki, Jerusalema ami ceh üng, Samarih la Kalile ng’yü jun üng citki.
And it came to pass in the going up (him *ko) to Jerusalem that He himself was passing through ([the] midst *N+kO) of Samaria and Galilee.
12 Acunüng, ngnam mata a luh la, mnehkse mnehkia khyang xa naw ami na khyüm, acun he cun athuknaka ngdüi u lü,
And when is entering He into a certain village met with Him ten leprous men, who (stood *NK+O) afar off.
13 “Bawipa Jesuh aw, jah m'yeneia” tia, angsanga ngpyangki he.
And they themselves lifted up [their] voice saying; Jesus Master, do have compassion on us.
14 Acunüng Jesuh naw, a jah hmuh üng, “Cit u lü, ktaiyü hea veia va ngtengei kyusak ua” a ti. Acunüng, hinkba kyaki, ami ceh k’um üng ami van ngcim lawki he.
And having seen [them] He said to them; Having gone do show yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass in the going them, they were cleansed.
15 Acunüng, ami van üngka mat naw, yai beki ti a ksing la, angsanga Pamhnam a mküimto maha, nghlat be lü,
one then of them having seen that he was healed, turned back with a voice loud glorifying God.
16 Jesuha khaw kunga kawp lü, jekyainaka ngthu a pyen; acuna khyang cun Samarih khyanga kyaki.
and he fell on [his] face at the feet of Him giving thanks to Him; and he himself was a Samaritan.
17 Acunüng, Jesuh naw msang lü, “Khyang xa nami ngcim bekia am kya aih se? Kawe cen hawia ni ami ve?
Having answered then Jesus said; (surely *NK+o) the ten were cleansed? But the nine are where?
18 “Hina khyangmjükce naw Pamhnam mküimto khaia nghlat law beki hin” a ti.
None was there found having returned to give glory to God only except foreigner this?
19 Acunüng Jesuh naw, “Tho law lü, cita; na jumnak naw ning yai sak be ve,” a ti.
And He said to him; Having risen up do go forth; the faith of you has cured you!
20 Acunüng, Pharise he naw, “Itia ni Pamhnama khaw a pha law kawm?” tia kthäh u se, Jesuh naw, “Pamhnama khaw cun hmuh thei vaia pha law khaia am kya;
Having been asked now by the Pharisees when is coming the kingdom of God, He answered to them and said; Not comes the kingdom of God with careful observation,
21 “Teng u, hia ni, cuia ni,’ ti vaia am kya, Pamhnama khaw cun nami k’uma awmki ni,” ti lü a jah msang.
nor will they say; Behold here or (behold *ko) There. Behold for the kingdom of God in the midst of you is.
22 Acunüng, axüisaw hea veia, “Khyanga Capa khawmhmüp he, mhmüp matca hleng hmu hlü u lü pi am nami hmuhnak thei vaia kcün pha law khai.
He said then to the disciples; Will come days when you will desire one of the days of the Son of Man to see and not you will behold [it].
23 “Acunüng, nami veia, ‘Teng u, hia ni, cuia ni’ ning jah tina khai he, ä cit u lü, ä nami jah läk vai;
And they will say to you; Behold there or Behold here. Not may go forth nor may follow.
24 khaw nghmüm law se ‘khana mkek, khan avan üng a vai lawa kba, khyanga Capa a law bea mhmüp üng acunkba kya law khai.
As for the lightning (which *ko) is flashing from the [one end] under (the *no) sky to the [other end] under [the] sky shines, thus will be (also *k) the Son of Man in the day of Him.
25 “Cunsepi, am acun ham üng, aktäa khuikhanak khamei lü atuh ngsawn hea ksekhanak vaia awm khai.
First however it behooves Him many things to suffer and to be rejected by generation this.
26 “Nawea kcün üngka kba khyanga Capa a law be üng pi kya law khai.
And even as it came to pass in the days of Noah, thus will it be also in the days of the Son of man:
27 “Nawe mlawng üng lut se, mlikpitui phu lawki naw ami van a jah mthihnaka mhmüp am a pha law hlana küt üng, ei aw u lü, ngkhyungla u lü awmki he.
They were eating, were drinking, were marrying, (were being given in marriage, *N+kO) until that day entered Noah into the ark, and came the flood and destroyed (all. *N+kO)
28 “Acunakba Lotaha xün hün üng; ei aw u lü, khei u lü, jawitu u lü, nglingsaw u lü, ngsawngsaki he;
Likewise (even as *N+kO) it came to pass in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building.
29 cunsepi, Sodom khaw üngka naw, Lotah a ktawiha mhmüp üng khana üngka mei la kat, khawa a lawki naw ami van a jah mthiha kba,
in that then day went out Lot from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed (all; *N+kO)
30 khyanga Capa a law bea mhmüp üng kya law khai.
According (to these *N+kO) will it be in that day the Son of Man is revealed.
31 “Acuna mhmüp üng upi, mkyung khana awmki naw, im k’um üngka a khawhthem loei khaia ä kyum law se. Acuna kba laia awmki pi a hnua ä nghlat be se.
In that [very] day the [one who] will be on the housetop and the goods of him in the house, not he should come down to take away them; and the [one] in (the *k) field likewise not he should return to the [things] back.
32 “Lotah khyu süm ua.
do remember the wife of Lot!
33 “Upi, amäta xünnak küikyan khaia büki naw mkhyüh lü, upi a xünnak mkhyühki naw küikyanei khai.
Who[ever] if shall seek the life of him (to gain *N+KO) will lose it, (and *k) who[ever] (but *no) (maybe *N+kO) (shall lose *NK+o) (it *k) will preserve it.
34 “Ka ning jah mthehki, acuna mthan üng ihnak mat üng ipki xawia khyang nghngih, mat jäk se mat awm hüt khai.
I say to you; in that night there will be two upon bed one: The one will be taken, and the other will be left.
35 “Ksum suki xawia nghnumi nghngih üngka mat jäk se mat awm hüt khai.
There will be two [women] grinding at the same [place]; (The *no) one will be taken, (and *k) (and *no) the other will be left.
36 “Laia awmki xawi nghngih üngka, mat jäk se mat awm hüt khai,” a ti.
(two in field; one will be taken and another it will be left *K)
37 Acunüng, axüisaw he naw, “Bawipa aw, hawia ni?” tia ami kthäh. Jesuh naw, “Akthia awmnak naküta nghmukse he ngcun khai he,” a ti.
And answering they say to Him; Where, Lord? And He said to them; Where the body [is], there (also *no) the vultures (will be gathered. *N+kO)
