< Luka 10 >

1 Zitatha izi Ambuye anasankha enanso 72 ndi kuwatumiza awiriawiri patsogolo pake ku mzinda uliwonse ndi kumalo kumene Iye anatsala pangʼono kupitako.
After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place He was about to visit.
2 Iye anawawuza kuti, “Zokolola ndi zambiri, koma ogwira ntchito ndi ochepa. Pemphani Ambuye wa zokolola, kuti atumize antchito ku munda wake wa zokolola.
And He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.
3 Pitani! Ine ndikukutumizani ngati nkhosa pakati pa mimbulu.
Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.
4 Musatenge chikwama kapena thumba kapena nsapato; ndipo musalonjere wina aliyense pa njira.
Carry no purse or bag or sandals. Do not greet anyone along the road.
5 “Mukamalowa mʼnyumba, poyamba nenani kuti, ‘Mtendere pa nyumba ino.’
Whatever house you enter, begin by saying, ‘Peace to this house.’
6 Ngati mʼnyumbamo muli munthu wofuna mtendere, mtendere wanuwo udzakhala pa iyeyo; ngati mulibemo, mtendere wanuwo udzabwerera kwa inu.
If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you.
7 Khalani mʼnyumba yomweyo, idyani ndi kumwa chilichonse chimene akupatsani, pakuti wantchito ayenera kulandira malipiro ake. Musachoke kumene mwafikirako ndi kupita ku nyumba zina.
Stay at the same house, eating and drinking whatever you are offered. For the worker is worthy of his wages. Do not move around from house to house.
8 “Mukamalowa mʼmudzi, ndi kulandiridwa, idyani chilichonse akukonzerani.
If you enter a town and they welcome you, eat whatever is set before you.
9 Chiritsani odwala amene ali kumeneko ndipo muwawuze kuti, ‘Ufumu wa Mulungu wayandikira.’
Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you.’
10 Koma mukalowa mʼmudzi ndipo osalandiridwa bwino, kapiteni ku misewu mʼmudzimo nʼkukanena kuti,
But if you enter a town and they do not welcome you, go into the streets and declare,
11 ‘Tikukusansirani ngakhale fumbi la mʼmudzi wanuwu limene lamamatira ku mapazi athuwa. Komabe dziwani izi: Ufumu wa Mulungu wayandikira.’
‘Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet, we wipe off as a testimony against you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God is near.’
12 Ine ndikuwuzani kuti adzachita chifundo polanga Sodomu pa tsikulo kusiyana ndi mudziwo.
I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.
13 “Ndiwe watsoka, iwe Korazini! Ndiwe watsoka, iwe Betisaida! Kukanakhala kuti zodabwitsa zimene zinachitika mwa inu zinachitika ku Turo ndi Sidoni, iwo akanatembenuka mtima kale lomwe, atavala ziguduli ndi kudzola phulusa.
Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 Koma adzachita chifundo polanga Turo ndi Sidoni kusiyana ndi inu.
But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.
15 Kodi iwe Kaperenawo, adzakukweza mpaka kumwamba? Ayi, adzakutsitsa mpaka ku Malo a anthu akufa. (Hadēs g86)
And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! (Hadēs g86)
16 “Womvera inu, akumvera Ine; wokana inu, akukana Ine. Ndipo wokana Ine; akukana Iye amene anandituma Ine.”
Whoever listens to you listens to Me; whoever rejects you rejects Me; and whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”
17 Anthu 72 aja anabwerera ndi chimwemwe ndipo anati, “Ambuye, ngakhale ziwanda zinatigonjera ife mʼdzina lanu.”
The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name.”
18 Iye anayankha kuti, “Ndinaona Satana akugwa kuchokera kumwamba ngati mphenzi.
So He told them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
19 Ine ndakupatsani ulamuliro woponda njoka ndi zinkhanira, ndi kugonjetsa mphamvu zonse za mdani; palibe chimene chidzakupwetekani.
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.
20 Komabe musakondwere chifukwa mizimu yoyipa inakugonjerani, koma kondwerani chifukwa mayina anu analembedwa kumwamba.”
Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
21 Nthawi imeneyo Mzimu Woyera anadzaza Yesu ndi chimwemwe ndipo anati, “Ine ndikulemekeza Inu, Atate Ambuye a kumwamba ndi dziko lapansi, chifukwa mwawabisira anthu anzeru ndi ophunzira zinthu izi ndipo mwaziwulula kwa ana aangʼono. Inde, Atate, pakuti munachita zimenezi mwachifuniro chanu.
At that time Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight.
22 “Atate anga anapereka zinthu zonse mʼmanja mwanga. Palibe amene amadziwa Mwana kupatula Atate yekha, ndipo palibe amene amadziwa Atate kupatula Mwana yekha, ndiponso amene Mwanayo akufuna kumuwululira.”
All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.”
23 Kenaka anatembenukira kwa ophunzira ake nawawuza iwo okha kuti, “Ndi odala maso amene akuona zimene mukuonazi.
Then Jesus turned to the disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.
24 Pakuti kunena zoona aneneri ambiri ndi mafumu anafunitsitsa kuona zimene mukuonazi koma sanazione, ndi kumva zimene mukumvazi koma sanazimve.”
For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
25 Nthawi ina katswiri wa malamulo anayimirira kuti ayese Yesu. Iye anati, “Aphunzitsi, ndichite chiyani kuti ndikhale ndi moyo wosatha?” (aiōnios g166)
One day an expert in the law stood up to test Him. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
26 Yesu anayankha kuti, “Mwalembedwa chiyani mʼMalamulo, ndipo iwe umawerenga zotani?”
“What is written in the Law?” Jesus replied. “How do you read it?”
27 Iye anayankha kuti, “Uzikonda Yehova Mulungu wako ndi mtima wako wonse, ndi moyo wako wonse, ndi mphamvu zako zonse ndi nzeru zako zonse, ndi kukonda mnansi wako monga iwe mwini.”
He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
28 Yesu anayankha kuti, “Iwe wayankha bwino, chita zimenezi ndipo udzakhala ndi moyo.”
“You have answered correctly,” Jesus said. “Do this and you will live.”
29 Koma iye anafuna kudzilungamitsa yekha, ndipo anamufunsanso Yesu kuti, “Kodi mnansi wanga ndani?”
But wanting to justify himself, he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30 Yesu pomuyankha anati, “Munthu wina ankatsikira ku Yeriko kuchokera ku Yerusalemu. Pa njira anavulazidwa ndi achifwamba. Anamuvula zovala zake, namumenya ndi kuthawa, namusiya ali pafupi kufa.
Jesus took up this question and said, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead.
31 Wansembe ankapita pa njira yomweyo, ndipo ataona munthuyo, analambalala.
Now by chance a priest was going down the same road, but when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 Chimodzimodzinso, Mlevi wina pamene anafika pa malopo ndi kumuona, analambalalanso.
So too, when a Levite came to that spot and saw him, he passed by on the other side.
33 Koma Msamariya wina, ali pa ulendo wake, anafika pamene panali munthuyo; ndipo atamuona, anamva naye chisoni.
But when a Samaritan on a journey came upon him, he looked at him and had compassion.
34 Anapita panali munthu wovulalayo, nathira mafuta ndi vinyo pa zilonda zake, nʼkuzimanga. Kenaka anamukweza pa bulu wake, napita naye ku nyumba ya alendo, namusamalira.
He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 Mmawa mwake anatenga ndalama ziwiri zasiliva nazipereka kwa woyangʼanira nyumbayo, nati, ‘Musamalireni munthuyu, ndipo pobwera ndidzakubwezerani zonse zimene mugwiritse ntchito.’
The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Take care of him,’ he said, ‘and on my return I will repay you for any additional expense.’
36 “Kodi ukuganiza ndi ndani mwa atatuwa, amene anali mnansi wa munthu amene anavulazidwa ndi achifwambawo?”
Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
37 Katswiri wa Malamulo uja anayankha kuti, “Amene anamuchitira chifundo.” Yesu anamuwuza kuti, “Pita, uzikachita chimodzimodzi.”
“The one who showed him mercy,” replied the expert in the law. Then Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
38 Yesu ndi ophunzira ake akuyenda, anafika pa mudzi kumene mayi wotchedwa Marita anamulandira Iye mʼnyumba mwake.
As they traveled along, Jesus entered a village where a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home.
39 Mayiyu anali ndi mchemwali wake wotchedwa Mariya, amene anakhala pa mapazi a Yesu kumverera zimene Iye ankanena.
She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to His message.
40 Koma Marita anatanganidwa ndi zokonzekera zonse zimene zimayenera kuchitika. Iye anabwera kwa Yesu namufunsa kuti, “Ambuye, kodi simusamala kuti mchemwali wanga wandisiya kuti ndichite ntchito yonse ndekha? Muwuzeni andithandize!”
But Martha was distracted by all the preparations to be made. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her to help me!”
41 Ambuye anati, “Marita, Marita, ukudandaula ndi kuvutika ndi zinthu zambiri,
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord replied, “you are worried and upset about many things.
42 koma chofunika nʼchimodzi chokha. Mariya wasankha chinthu chabwino, ndipo palibe angamulande chimenechi.”
But only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, and it will not be taken away from her.”
