ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎷᎦ ᎤᏬᏪᎳᏅᎯ 22
1 ᎾᎪᏔᏅᎾᏃ ᎦᏚ ᎠᎩᏍᏗᏱ ᎤᏍᏆᎸᎯᏗᏎᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎧᏃᎯᏰᏃ ᏗᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗᏱ ᏥᏚᏙᎠ.
Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the Passover, was approaching.
2 ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏒᏃ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏃᏪᎵᏍᎩ ᎤᏂᏲᎴ ᎢᏳᏅᏁᏗᏱ ᎤᏂᎯᏍᏗᏱ; ᏓᏂᏍᎦᎢᎮᏰᏃ ᏴᏫ.
The chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put him to death, for they feared the people.
3 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏎᏓᏂ ᎤᏴᏎᎴ ᏧᏓᏏ ᎢᏍᎦᎳᏗ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᎳ ᎨᏎ ᏔᎳᏚ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ.
Satan entered into Judah, who was also called Iscariot, who was counted with the twelve.
4 ᎤᏪᏅᏎᏃ ᏫᏚᎵᏃᎮᏔᏁ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏗᎾᏓᏂᏱᏍᎩ, ᎢᏳᏩᏁᏗᏱ [ ᏥᏌ ] ᏧᏲᎯᏎᏗᏱ.
He went away and talked with the chief priests and captains about how he might deliver him to them.
5 ᎤᎾᎵᎮᎵᏤᏃ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᏁᏤᎴ ᎠᏕᎸ ᏗᎬᏩᏁᏗᏱ.
They were glad, and agreed to give him money.
6 ᎤᏚᎢᏍᏔᏁᏃ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏲᎴ ᏧᏲᎯᏎᏗᏱ, ᎾᎯᏳ ᎤᏂᎪᏁᎸ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ.
He consented and sought an opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the multitude.
7 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎤᏍᏆᎸᎮ ᎾᎪᏔᏅᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎦᏚ ᎠᎩᏍᏗᏱ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎧᏃᎯᏰᎩ ᏗᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗᏱ ᎠᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
The day of unleavened bread came, on which the Passover must be sacrificed.
8 [ ᏥᏌᏃ ] ᏚᏅᏎ ᏈᏓ ᎠᎴ ᏣᏂ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎢᏍᏕᎾ ᏫᏍᏓᏛᏅᎢᏍᏓ ᎧᏃᎯᏰᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎦᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗᏱ.
Yeshua sent Peter and Yochanan, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”
9 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᎬᏩᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎭᏢ ᏣᏚᎵᎭ ᎣᎩᎾᏛᏅᎢᏍᏙᏗᏱ?
They said to him, “Where do you want us to prepare?”
10 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ, ᎦᏚᎲ ᎢᏍᏗᏴᎸᎭ, ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᏙᏓᏣᏠᏏ, ᎠᏰᎮᏍᏗ ᎠᏖᎵᏙ ᎠᎹ ᎠᏟᏍᏕᏍᏗ; ᎡᏍᏗᏍᏓᏩᏕᏒᎭ ᎠᏓᏁᎸ ᏭᏴᎸᎢ ᏫᏍᏗᎷᏨᎭ.
He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him into the house which he enters.
11 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏁᏍᏗᏪᏎᎸᎭ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎦᏁᎳ, ᏗᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏅᏗᏣᏪᏎᎭ, ᎭᏢ ᎠᏁᏙᎯ ᎤᏂᏴᏍᏗᏱ ᎾᎿᎭᎧᏃᎯᏰᎩ ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᎣᎦᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗᏱ ᎬᎩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ?
Tell the master of the house, ‘The Rabbi says to you, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’
12 ᏓᏍᏓᏎᎮᎵᏃ ᎤᏛᎾ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᎧᏅᏑᎸ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎢᎬᏁᎸᎯ; ᎾᎿᎭᎢᏍᏓᏛᏅᎢᏍᏔᏅᎭ.
He will show you a large, furnished upper room. Make preparations there.”
13 ᎤᏁᏅᏎᏃ ᎠᎴ ᏭᏂᏩᏛᎮ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎢ; ᎤᎾᏛᏅᎢᏍᏔᏁᏃ ᎧᏃᎯᏰᎩ ᏗᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗᏱ.
They went, found things as Yeshua had told them, and they prepared the Passover.
14 ᎤᏍᏆᎸᎲᏃ ᎾᎯᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᏂᏏᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏔᎳᏚ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏛ.
When the hour had come, he sat down with the twelve emissaries.
15 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎤᏣᏘ ᎠᏆᏚᎵᏍᎬᎩ ᎯᎠ ᎧᏃᎯᏰᎩ ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᎢᎦᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗᏱ ᎠᏏᏉ ᎾᎩᎩᎵᏲᏨᎾ.
He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,
16 ᎢᏨᏲᏎᏰᏃ ᎥᏝ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏴᎦᎦᎵᏍᏓᏴᏓ ᎬᏂ ᎤᎵᏍᏆᏛᎯ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎾᎿᎭᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ.
for I tell you, I will no longer by any means eat of it until it is fulfilled in God’s Kingdom.”
17 ᎤᎩᏒᏃ ᎤᎵᏍᏈᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᎮᎵᏨ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᎯᎠ ᎢᏥᎩ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏥᏯᏙᎦ ᎢᏨᏒ ᎨᏒᎢ.
He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, “Take this and share it amongst yourselves,
18 ᎯᎠᏰᏃ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ, ᎥᏝ ᏴᎦᎦᏗᏔ ᏖᎸᎳᏗ ᎤᏁᏅᎯ ᎬᏂ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎵᏰᎢᎶᎸᎭ.
for I tell you, I will not drink at all again from the fruit of the vine, until God’s Kingdom comes.”
19 ᎦᏚᏃ ᎤᎩᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᎮᎵᏨ, ᎤᎬᎭᎷᏰᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏁᎴᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏴ ᏥᏰᎸᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎯ ᎡᏣᎫᏴᏔᏅᎯ ᏥᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᏣᏛᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᎠᏴ ᏍᎩᏯᏅᏓᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ.
He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”
20 ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎤᎵᏍᏈᏗ [ ᏅᎩᏎ ] ᎤᎾᎵᏍᏓᏴᏃᏅ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎵᏍᏈᏗ ᎢᏤ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᏓᏠᎯᏍᏛᎢ ᎠᏴ ᎠᎩᎩᎬᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎯ ᎢᏣᏤᏬᏤᎸᎯ ᏥᎩ.
Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
21 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏬᏰᏂ ᎠᏆᏡᏗᏍᎩ ᎣᎩᎾᏖᏆᎶᎭ ᎠᏂ ᎦᏍᎩᎸᎢ.
But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table.
22 ᎠᎴ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎠᏴ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏓᏰᏏ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏚᏚᎪᏔᏅᎢ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏲᎢᏳ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᏡᏗᏍᎩ
The Son of Man indeed goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man through whom he is betrayed!”
23 ᎤᎾᎴᏅᎮᏃ ᏚᎾᏓᏛᏛᏁ ᎤᏅᏒ ᎨᏒ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏗᏛᏁᎵᏒ ᎯᎠ.
They began to question amongst themselves which of them it was who would do this thing.
24 ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎠᎾᏗᏒᎯᎮ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎤᏅᏒ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏟ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ
A dispute also arose amongst them, which of them was considered to be greatest.
25 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎤᏂᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᏧᎾᏤᎵᎦ, ᏗᎬᏩᎾᏁᎶᏛᏗᏱ ᎾᏅᏁᎰ ᏴᏫ; ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎬᏩᎾᏁᎶᏙᏗ ᎢᏯᏅᏁᎯ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎢᏗᎾᏛᏁᎯ ᎨᎪᏎᎰᎢ.
He said to them, “The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’
26 ᏂᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎥᏞᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᏂᏨᏁᏍᏗ; ᎾᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ Ꮎ ᏂᎯ ᏂᏣᏛᏅ ᎤᏟ ᎢᏯᏥᎸᏉᏗ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏫᎾᎨ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ; ᎾᏍᎩᏯ Ꮎ ᏄᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ ᏗᏍᏕᎸᎯᏙᎯ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
But not so with you. Rather, the one who is greater amongst you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.
27 ᎦᎪᏰᏃ ᎤᏟ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏗᏳ, ᎠᎵᏍᏓᏴᎲᏍᎩ ᎠᏃ ᎠᏓᏍᏕᎸᎯᏙᎯ? ᏝᏍᎪ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎠᎵᏍᏓᏴᎲᏍᎩ? ᎠᏴᏍᎩᏂ ᎢᏨᏰᎳᏗᏙᎭ ᎠᏓᏍᏕᎸᎯᏙᎯ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᎢ.
For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Isn’t it he who sits at the table? But I am amongst you as one who serves.
28 ᏂᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᏥᏑᎵᎪᎬᎾ ᎢᎨᏙᎸᎯ ᎤᏲ ᎾᏆᎵᏍᏓᏁᎵᏙᎲᎢ;
“But you are those who have continued with me in my trials.
29 ᎠᎴ ᎢᏨᏯᎵᏍᎪᎸᏓᏁᎭ ᎢᏥᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎢᏣᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎡᏙᏓ ᎠᏴ ᏣᏆᎵᏍᎪᎸᏓᏁᎸ;
I confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me,
30 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏣᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗᏱ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏣᏗᏔᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᎩᏍᎩᎸ ᎾᎿᎭᎠᎩᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᏣᏅᏗᏱ ᎤᏂᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏧᏂᏗᏱ ᏕᎦᏍᎩᎸᎢ, ᏗᏧᎪᏓᏁᏗᏱ ᏔᎳᏚ ᎾᏂᎳᏍᏓᎸ ᎢᏏᎵ.
that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. You will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
31 ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᏌᏩᏂ, ᏌᏩᏂ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ, ᏎᏓᏂ ᎤᏔᏲᎸ ᎠᎦᎵᏍᎪᎸᏓᏁᏗᏱ ᎢᏨᎫᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎤᏣᎴᏍᏗ ᏣᏅᎫᏍᏗᏍᎪ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᎢ.
The Lord said, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have all of you, that he might sift you as wheat,
32 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏆᏓᏙᎵᏍᏔᏅ ᎡᏣᏍᏕᎸᏗᏱ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏦᎯᏳᏒ ᎤᏓᎵᏛᏙᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ; ᏣᎦᏔᎲᏛᏃ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏕᎭᎵᏂᎪᎯᏍᏔᏅᎭ ᎢᏣᎵᏅᏟ.
but I prayed for you, that your faith wouldn’t fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers.”
33 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎠᏆᏛᏅᎢᏍᏗ ᎬᏍᏓᏩᏛᏍᏗᏱ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏗᏓᏍᏚᏗᏱ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏲᎱᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
He said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”
34 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ ᎬᏲᏎᎭ ᏈᏓ, ᏣᏔᎦ ᎥᏝ ᏴᏛᏴᎳᏏ ᎪᎯ ᎢᎦ ᎬᏂ ᏦᎢ ᎢᏣᏓᏱᎸᎯ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎠᏴ ᏍᎩᎦᏔᎲᎢ.
He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will by no means crow today until you deny that you know me three times.”
35 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏥᏨᏅᏒᎩ ᏂᏗᏥᏁᎲᎾ ᎠᏕᎸ-ᏗᎦᎶᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᎦᎶᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᎳᏑᎶ, ᎪᎱᏍᏗᏍᎪ ᎢᏥᏂᎬᏎᎮᎢ? ᎥᏝ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ, ᎤᎾᏛᏁᎢ.
He said to them, “When I sent you out without purse, bag, and sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.”
36 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎪᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᏥᎩ, ᎩᎶ ᎠᏕᎸ-ᏗᎦᎶᏗ ᎤᎾᎡᏍᏗ, ᎦᏁᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏕᎦᎶᏗ; ᎩᎶᏃ ᎠᏰᎳᏍᏗ ᎦᏅᎯᏛ ᏄᏩᏴᎾ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᏫᎦᎾᏚᎦ ᎤᏄᏬ ᎠᎴ ᏭᏩᎯ.
Then he said to them, “But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a bag. Whoever has none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.
37 ᎢᏨᏲᏎᎭᏰᏃ, ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᎪᏪᎳ ᎠᏎ ᎠᏏ ᏛᏙᎯᏳᏂ ᎠᏴ ᏅᏓᎬᏂᏌᏂ; “ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᎾ ᎨᎦᏎᎸᎢ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᎦᏠᏯᏍᏔᏅᎩ;” ᎠᏴᏰᏃ ᎠᎩᏃᎮᏍᎬ ᎠᏎ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏓᎦᎵᏍᏔᏂ.
For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: ‘He was counted with transgressors.’ For that which concerns me is being fulfilled.”
38 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ, ᎠᏂ ᏔᎵ ᎠᏰᎳᏍᏗ-ᏗᎦᏅᎯᏛ; ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏑᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏰᎵᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ.
They said, “Lord, behold, here are two swords.” He said to them, “That is enough.”
39 ᎠᎴ ᏧᏄᎪᏨ, ᎤᏪᏅᏎ ᎣᎵᏩᏲ ᎤᏌᎯᎸᎢ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏛᏁᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏛᏎᎢ.
He came out and went, as his custom was, to the Mount of Olives. His disciples also followed him.
40 ᎾᎿᎭᏃ ᏭᎷᏧ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎢᏣᏓᏙᎵᏍᏓ ᎤᏓᎴᎾᏍᏗᏱ ᎨᏒ ᏫᏥᏴᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ.
When he was at the place, he said to them, “Pray that you don’t enter into temptation.”
41 ᏚᏓᏅᎡᎴᏃ ᏅᏯ ᏫᎬᏗᏅᏗ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎠᎴ ᏚᎵᏂᏆᏁ ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ,
He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and he knelt down and prayed,
42 ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎡᏙᏓ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᎣᏏᏳ ᏱᏣᏰᎸᏅ ᏍᎩᎲᏏᏉ ᎯᎠ ᎤᎵᏍᏈᏗ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᎥᏞᏍᏗ ᎠᏴ ᎦᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬᎢ, ᏂᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎭᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬ ᏫᏂᎦᎵᏍᏓ.
saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”
43 ᎬᏂᎨᏒᏃ ᏄᏛᏁᎴ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏅᏓᏳᎶᏒᎯ, ᎤᎵᏂᎪᎯᏍᏗᏍᎨᎢ.
An angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.
44 ᎤᏣᏘᏃ ᎡᎯᏍᏗ ᎤᏓᏅᏖ ᎤᏟ ᎢᏳᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎠᎵ ᎤᎯᎲ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏎ ᎩᎬ ᎡᏉᎯᏳ ᎦᏙᎯ ᏥᏫᏗᎦᏬᎪᎢ.
Being in agony, he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.
45 ᏚᎴᏅᏃ ᎠᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎠᎴ ᏫᏙᎤᎷᏤᎸ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ, ᏚᏩᏛᎮ ᏓᏂᎵᎮ ᎤᏲ ᎤᏂᏰᎸᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ.
When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping because of grief,
46 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎢᏥᎵᎾᎠ? ᏗᏣᎴᎲᎦ ᎢᏣᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏓᎴᎾᏍᏗᏱ ᎨᏒ ᏫᏥᏴᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ.
and said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
47 ᎠᏏᏉᏃ ᎧᏁᎨᎢ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ, ᎾᏃ ᏧᏓᏏ ᏣᎪᏎᎮᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏔᎳᏚ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᎨᏒ ᎨᎳ, ᎢᎬᏱ ᎠᎢᏎ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᎥ ᎤᎷᏤᎴ ᏥᏌ ᏧᏔᏪᏙᏂᏎᎢ,
While he was still speaking, a crowd appeared. He who was called Judah, one of the twelve, was leading them. He came near to Yeshua to kiss him.
48 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏧᏓᏏ, ᎯᏯᏔᏬᏙᎲᏍᎬᏍᎪ ᎯᎶᏄᎡᏗᎭ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ?
But Yeshua said to him, “Judah, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”
49 ᎾᎥᏃ ᎠᏁᏙᎯ ᎤᎾᏙᎴᎰᏒ ᏄᏍᏛ ᏫᎬᏩᎵᏰᎢᎶᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᎬᏩᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎠᏰᎳᏍᏗᏍᎪ-ᎦᏅᎯᏛ ᏙᏓᏲᏥᎷᏯᏍᏔᏂ?
When those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said to him, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”
50 ᎠᏏᏴᏫᏃ ᎤᎷᏰ ᏄᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸᎨᎶᎯ ᎤᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏍᏕᏍᏔᏁ ᎠᎦᏘᏏ ᎦᎴᏂ.
A certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎤᎾᏁᎳᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩᏉ ᎢᎦᎢ ᎤᏒᏁᎴᏃ ᎦᎴᏂ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏅᏩᏁᎢ
But Yeshua answered, “Let me at least do this”—and he touched his ear and healed him.
52 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏥᏌ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎠᏁᎶᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎢᏳᏅᎿᎭᏕᎩ ᎤᏛᎾ-ᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᏂᎳᏫᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏩᏂᏴᎯᎸᎯ, ᎢᏥᎷᎩᏍᎪ ᎠᏓᎾᏌᎲᏍᎩ ᏤᏥᏲᎰ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᎢ, ᎠᏰᎳᏍᏗ-ᏗᎦᏅᎯᏛ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏓ ᏥᏕᏥᏁᎭ?
Yeshua said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?
53 ᏂᏑᎩᏨᏂᏒ ᎢᏨᏰᎳᏗᏙᎲ ᎤᏛᎾ-ᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ, ᎥᏝ ᏱᏣᏁᎶᏔᏁ ᏍᎩᏂᏴᏗᏱ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᎢᏣᏤᎵᎦ ᎪᎯ ᏥᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏏᎩ ᎤᎵᏂᎬᎬᎢ.
When I was with you in the temple daily, you didn’t stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”
54 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎬᏩᏂᏴᎮᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᏘᏅᏎ ᎠᎴ ᏫᎬᏩᏴᏔᏁ ᏄᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸᎨᎶᎯ ᏗᎦᏁᎸᎢ. ᏈᏓᏃ ᎢᏅ ᎣᏂ ᏗᎵᏍᏓᏩᏗᏎᎢ.
They seized him and led him away, and brought him into the high priest’s house. But Peter followed from a distance.
55 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎤᏜᏓᏅᏛ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎤᏃᏔᏅ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᎤᎾᏅᏅ, ᏈᏓ ᎤᏪᏁ ᎠᏂᏅᎢ.
When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter sat amongst them.
56 ᎩᎶᏃ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎠᏛ ᎤᎪᎲ ᎠᏥᎸᏳᎶᏗ ᎤᏬᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏯᏅᏒᎯ ᏚᎧᎿᎭᏅ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏓᏁᏙᎲᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ.
A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, “This man also was with him.”
57 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏓᏱᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎯᎨᏴ, ᎥᏝ ᏱᏥᎦᏔᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ.
He denied Yeshua, saying, “Woman, I don’t know him.”
58 ᎪᎯᏱᏃ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏅᏩᏓᎴ ᎤᎪᎲ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᏂᎯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎾᎿᎭᎮᎸ ᎢᎩ. ᏈᏓᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎯᏍᎦᏯ, ᎥᏝ ᎠᏴ ᎾᎿᎭᎨᎸ ᏱᎩ.
After a little while someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them!” But Peter answered, “Man, I am not!”
59 ᎣᏂᏃ ᏑᏟᎶᏛ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎢᎪᎯᏛ, ᏅᏩᏓᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏍᏓᏱᏕᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏓᏁᏙᎲᎩ; ᎨᎵᎵᏰᏃ ᏕᎯ ᎢᎩ.
After about one hour passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, “Truly this man also was with him, for he is a Galilean!”
60 ᏈᏓᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᎯᏍᎦᏯ, ᎥᏝ ᏱᎪᎵᎦ ᏂᏪᏍᎬᎢ. ᎩᎳᏉᏃ ᎢᏴᏛ, ᎠᏏᏉ ᎧᏁᎨᎢ, ᏣᏔᎦ ᎤᏴᎳᏎᎢ.
But Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you are talking about!” Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
61 ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯᏃ ᎤᎦᏔᎲᏒ ᏚᎧᎿᎭᏁ ᏈᏓ. ᏈᏓᏃ ᎤᏅᏓᏕ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎯᎠ ᏥᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎠᏏᏉ ᏄᏴᎳᏒᎾ ᏣᏔᎦ ᏦᎢ ᏅᏓᏍᏆᏓᏱᎵ.
The Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the Lord’s word, how he said to him, “Before the rooster crows you will deny me three times.”
62 ᎤᏄᎪᏤᏃ ᏈᏓ, ᎠᎴ ᎡᎯᏍᏗ ᏚᏠᏱᎴᎢ
He went out, and wept bitterly.
63 ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯᏃ ᏥᏌ ᏗᎬᏩᏂᏴᎯ ᎦᎬᏩᏐᏢᏕ ᎠᎴ ᏕᎬᏩᏂᎮᎢ.
The men who held Yeshua mocked him and beat him.
64 ᏕᎬᏩᎦᏚᏢᏅᏃ ᎤᎧᏛ ᏕᎬᏩᏂᎮᎢ, ᎬᏩᏛᏛᎲᏍᎨ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏂᏪᏍᎨᎢ, ᎭᏙᎴᎰᎯ, ᎦᎪ ᏥᏨᏂᎦ?
Having blindfolded him, they struck him on the face and asked him, “Prophesy! Who is the one who struck you?”
65 ᎠᎴ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎠᏏ ᎢᏳᏓᎴᎩ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎬᏬᏎᎮ ᎬᏩᏐᏢᎢᏍᏗᏍᎬᎢ.
They spoke many other things against him, insulting him.
66 ᎢᎦᏉᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅ ᏗᏂᎳᏫᎩ ᏴᏫ ᎠᏁᎲ ᎠᎴ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏃᏪᎵᏍᎩ ᏚᏂᎳᏫᏤᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏓᏂᎳᏫᎥ ᎬᏩᏘᏃᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ;
As soon as it was day, the assembly of the elders of the people were gathered together, both chief priests and scribes, and they led him away into their council, saying,
67 ᏂᎯᏍᎪ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ? ᏍᎩᏃᎲᏏ. ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᏱᏨᏃᏁᎸ ᎥᏝ ᏴᎨᏦᎯᏳᎲᎦ;
“If you are the Messiah, tell us.” But he said to them, “If I tell you, you won’t believe,
68 ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏱᏨᏯᏛᏛᏅ ᎥᏝ ᏴᎨᏍᎩᏁᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᎥᏝ ᏱᏙᎨᏍᎩᏲᎯ.
and if I ask, you will in no way answer me or let me go.
69 ᎢᎸᎯᏳ ᏛᏍᏆᎸᎯ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏓᎦᏂ ᎠᎦᏘᏏᏗᏢ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏬᎸᎢ.
From now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”
70 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎ ᏂᎦᏛ, ᏂᎯᏍᎪ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏪᏥ? ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏰᎵ ᏂᏥᏫ, ᎠᏴᏰᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ.
They all said, “Are you then the Son of God?” He said to them, “You say it, because I am.”
71 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎢᎬᏙᏗ ᎠᏏ ᎪᎯᏳᏗᏍᎩ? ᎢᎬᏒᏰᏃ ᎡᏓᏛᎦᏏ ᎤᏩᏒ ᎧᏁᎬᎢ.
They said, “Why do we need any more witness? For we ourselves have heard from his own mouth!”
