< ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎷᎦ ᎤᏬᏪᎳᏅᎯ 19 >

1 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᏴᎴ ᎠᎴ ᎤᎶᏎ ᏤᎵᎪ.
Jesus entered and was passing through Jericho.
2 ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎡᎮ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᏌᎩᏯ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎨᏎ ᎠᏕᎸᎠᎩᏏᏙᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏪᎿᎭᎢᏳ ᎨᏎᎢ.
Behold, there was a man there named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector and was rich.
3 ᎠᎴ ᎤᏲᎴ ᏥᏌ ᎤᎪᏩᏛᏗᏱ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏍᏛᎢ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏄᎸᏁ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᏍᏗᎩᏳᏰᏃ ᎨᏎᎢ.
He was trying to see who Jesus was, but could not see over the crowd, because he was small in height.
4 ᎢᎬᏱᏃ ᏭᏗᏢᏍᏔᏅ ᎤᎸᏎ ᎫᏩᏧᏁᎬ ᏡᎬ ᎤᎪᏩᏛᏗᏱ ᎤᏚᎵᏍᎨᎢ; ᎾᎿᎭᏰᏃ ᎢᏗᏢ ᏭᎶᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏎᎢ.
So he ran on ahead of the people and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, because Jesus was about to pass that way.
5 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎾᎿᎭᎤᎷᏨ, ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏫᏚᎧᎿᎭᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎪᎮᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏌᎩᏯ, ᏞᎩᏳ ᎡᎭᏠᎠᎯ; ᎪᎯᏰᏃ ᎢᎦ ᏥᎩ ᏘᏁᎸ ᏫᎨᏙᎮᏍᏗ.
When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house.”
6 ᎤᏩᏅᏤᏃ ᏗᎤᏠᎠᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᎮᎵᏨᎯ ᏚᏓᏂᎸᏤᎢ.
So he hurried and came down and welcomed him joyfully.
7 ᎤᏂᎪᎲᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎤᏂᏐᏅᏤᎴᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᏩᏴᏢ ᏮᏛᏒᏎᎵ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎠᏍᎦᎾᎢ.
When everyone saw this, they all complained, saying, “He has gone in to visit a man who is a sinner.”
8 ᏌᎩᏯᏃ ᎤᎴᏁ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ, ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎠᏰᎵ ᎢᎦᎢ ᏧᎬᏩᎶᏗ ᎠᎩᎲ ᎤᏲ ᎢᏳᎾᏛᎿᎭᏕᎩ ᏕᏥᎥᏏ; ᎢᏳ ᎠᎴ ᎦᏰᎪᎩ ᎠᏋᏔᏅᎯ ᏱᎩ ᎩᎶ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏱᏥᎩᎡᎸ, ᏅᎩ ᎢᏳᏩᎫᏗ ᎢᎦᎢ ᏥᎥᏏ.
Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone of anything, I will restore four times the amount.”
9 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎪᎯ ᎢᎦ ᎠᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎦᎷᎩ ᎠᏂ ᎠᏓᏁᎸᎢ, ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎡᏆᎭᎻ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎨᏒᎢ.
Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham.
10 ᏴᏫᏰᏃ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏚᏲᎵᎸ ᎠᎴ ᏚᏍᏕᎸᎯᎸ ᎤᎾᎴᎾᎸᎯ ᏥᎨᏒᎩ.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the people who are lost.”
11 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅ ᎤᏁᏉᎡ ᏚᏟᎶᏍᏓᏁᎴᎢ, ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᎾᎥ ᎤᎷᏥᏗᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎢᎬᏪᏅᏛ ᏓᎦᎾᏄᎪᏥ ᎠᏁᎵᏍᎬᎢ.
As they heard these things, he continued speaking and told a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and they thought that the kingdom of God was about to appear immediately.
12 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎩᎶ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎠᏍᎦᏰᎬᏍᏓ ᎢᎸᎯᏢ ᎢᏅ ᏭᎶᏎᎢ, ᎤᎸᏒᏎ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎢᏯᎬᏁᏗᏱ ᎠᎴ ᎥᎤᎷᎯᏍᏗᏱ.
He said therefore, “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then to return.
13 ᏫᏚᏯᏅᎮᏃ ᎠᏍᎪᎯ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᏧᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᎤᏲᎯᏎᎴ ᎠᏍᎪᎯ ᎢᏳᏓᎨᏛ [ ᎠᏕᎸ, ] ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏕᏨᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎬᏂ ᎢᏥᎷᏨᎭ.
He called ten of his servants, and gave them ten minas, and said to them, 'Conduct business until I come back.'
14 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏧᏤᎵ ᏴᏫ ᎢᎬᏩᏂᏆᏘᎴᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏂᏅᏎ ᎬᏩᎨᎮᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᏫᎾᏂᏪᏍᎨᎢ, ᎥᏝ ᏲᎦᏚᎵ ᎯᎠ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎣᎦᏤᎵ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ.
But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, 'We will not have this man rule over us.'
15 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ, ᎢᎤᎷᏥᎸ, ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎢᏯᎬᏁᎸᎯ ᎨᏎᎢ, ᎤᏁᏤ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ ᏫᎨᏥᏯᏅᏗᏱ ᎬᏩᎷᏤᏗᏱ, ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎠᏕᎸ ᏧᎨᏅᏛᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏙᎴᎰᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᎢᎦᎢ ᎠᏂᏏᏴᏫ ᎤᏂᏁᏉᏤᎸ ᎠᏂᏃᏗᏍᎬᎢ.
It happened when he came back again, having received the kingdom, he commanded the servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him, that he might know what profit they had made by doing business.
16 ᎢᎬᏱᏃ ᎤᎷᏨᎯ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᏍᎩᎾᏝᎢ, ᏣᏤᎵ ᏑᏓᎨᏛ ᎠᏍᎪᎯ ᎢᏳᏓᎨᏛ ᎤᏁᏉᏨ.
The first came before him, saying, 'Lord, your mina has made ten minas more.'
17 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎣᏏᏳ, ᎰᏍᏛ ᎡᏣᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ; ᎤᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎣᏏᏳ ᏂᏣᏛᏁᎸ; ᏣᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎠᏍᎪᎯ ᏕᎦᏚᎲᎢ.
The nobleman said to him, 'Well done, good servant. Because you were faithful in very little, you will have authority over ten cities.'
18 ᏔᎵᏁᏃ ᎤᎷᏨᎯ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᏍᎩᎾᏝᎢ, ᏣᏤᎵ ᏑᏓᎨᏛ ᎯᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏓᎨᏛ ᎤᏁᏉᏨ.
The second came, saying, 'Your mina, lord, has made five minas.'
19 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏂᎯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎯᏍᎩ ᎢᎦᏚᎩ ᏣᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
The nobleman said to him, 'You take charge over five cities.'
20 ᏅᏩᏓᎴᏃ ᎤᎷᏤᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᏍᎩᎾᏝᎢ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎠᏂ ᏣᏤᎵ ᏑᏓᎨᏛ, ᎠᎩᏍᏆᏂᎪᏛᎩ ᎠᎩᏣᏄᎸᎩ ᎠᏯᏠᎩᎯ;
Another came, saying, 'Lord, here is your mina, which I kept safely in a cloth,
21 ᎬᎾᏰᏍᎬᏰᏃ, ᏅᏓᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎬᎩ ᎯᏍᏓᏱᏳ ᎨᏒ ᎯᏍᎦᏯ; ᎯᎩᏍᎪᏰᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᏣᏅᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᏍᎫᏕᏍᎪ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᏣᏫᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ.
for I was afraid of you, because you are a demanding person. You take up what you did not put in, and you reap what you did not sow.'
22 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏨᏒ ᏂᏣᏪᏒ ᏓᎬᏔᏂ ᏙᏓᎬᏳᎪᏓᏁᎵ ᏣᏲ ᎡᏣᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ. ᎯᎦᏔᎲᎩ ᏥᏍᏓᏱᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏥᎩᏍᎬ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᎩᏅᎯ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏥᏍᎫᏕᏍᎬ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᎩᏫᏒᎯ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ;
The nobleman said to him, 'By your own words I will judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I am a demanding person, that I take up what I did not put in, and that I reaped what I did not sow.
23 ᎦᏙᏃ Ꮭ ᏗᏍᏆᏂᎪᏙᏗᏱ ᏱᏫᏙᏣᏁ ᏗᏆᏤᎵ ᎠᏕᏄ, ᎠᎩᎷᏥᎸᏃ ᏗᏆᏤᎵ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏁᏉᏨᎯ ᏱᏓᎩᎩᏎᎢ.
Then why did you not put my money in the bank, so that when I returned I would have collected it with interest?'
24 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴ ᎾᎥ ᎠᏂᏙᎾᎢ, ᎡᏥᎩᏏ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᏑᏓᎨᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏍᎪᎯ ᎢᏳᏓᎨᏛ ᏧᎯ ᎡᏥᎥᏏ —
The nobleman said to them that stood by, 'Take away from him the mina, and give it to him that has the ten minas.'
25 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᎬᏩᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏗᏍᎩᎾᏝᎢ, ᎠᏍᎪᎯ ᎢᏳᏓᎨᏛ ᏕᎤᎭ —
They said to him, 'Lord, he has ten minas.'
26 ᎯᎠᏰᏃ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏂᎥ ᎤᏂᎯ ᎨᏥᏁᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ; ᏄᏂᎲᎾᏃ ᏥᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎤᏂᎲ ᎨᏥᎩᎡᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
'I say to you, that everyone who has will be given more, but from him that has not, even that which he has will be taken away.
27 ᎾᏃ ᎬᎩᏍᎦᎩ, ᏄᎾᏚᎵᏍᎬᎾ ᏥᎨᏒ ᎠᎩᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎢᏯᏆᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎠᏁᎲᎢ, ᎡᏗᏣᏘᏄᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᏥᎷᎦ ᏥᎦᏔᎲᎢ
But these enemies of mine, those who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and kill them before me.'”
28 [ ᏥᏌᏃ ] ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏪᏒ, ᎢᎬᏱ ᎤᏪᏅᎭ ᎤᎿᎭᎷᏎ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᏩᎦᏖᎢ.
When he had said these things, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
29 ᎯᎠᏃ ᎸᎵᏍᏔᏁ ᎾᎥ ᎤᎷᏨ ᏒᎦᏙᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏇᏗᏂᏱ, ᎾᎿᎭᎣᎵᏩᏲᎯ ᎤᏌᎯᎸ ᏥᏚᏙᎠ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏂᏔᎵ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏚᏅᏎᎢ,
It came about that when he came near to Bethphage and Bethany, to the hill that is called Olivet, he sent two of the disciples,
30 ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎢᏍᏕᎾ ᎢᏢ Ꮎ ᏨᏗᎦᏚᎭ, ᎾᎿᎭᏃ ᏫᏍᏗᎷᏨᎭ ᏓᏰᏍᏗᏩᏛᎯ ᎠᎩᎾ ᎨᎵᏌᏕᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎥᏝ ᎠᏏ ᎩᎶ ᎤᎩᎸᏔᏅᎯ ᏱᎩ; ᎡᏍᏕᎵᏌᏕᏒᎭ ᎠᎴ ᏤᏍᏓᏘᏁᏒᎭ.
saying, “Go into the next village. As you enter, you will find a colt that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it to me.
31 ᎢᏳᏃ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏍᏓᏛᏛᏅ ᎦᏙᏃ ᎢᎡᏍᏕᎵᏌᏕᎭ? ᎢᏍᏙᏎᎸᎭ, ᎯᎠ ᏁᏍᏗᏪᏎᎸᎭ; ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯᏰᎾ ᎤᏚᎵᎭ.
If anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying it?' say, 'The Lord has need of it.'”
32 ᎨᏥᏅᏒᎯᏃ ᎤᏁᏅᏎ ᎠᎴ ᏭᏂᏩᏛᎮ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎢ.
Those who were sent went and found the colt just as Jesus had told them.
33 ᎠᏁᎵᏌᏕᏍᎨᏃ ᎠᎩᎾ, ᎤᏂᎾᏝᎢ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎬᏩᏂᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎢᎡᏍᏕᎵᏌᏕ ᎠᎩᎾ?
As they were untying the colt, the owners said to them, “Why are you untying the colt?”
34 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎤᏚᎵᎭ.
They said, “The Lord has need of it.”
35 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᎾᏘᏃᎮᎴᎢ; ᏧᎾᏄᏬᏃ ᎠᎩᎾ ᎦᏐᎯ ᏚᏂᏢᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᎿᎭᎤᎾᎩᎸᏔᏁ ᏥᏌ.
They brought it to Jesus, and they threw their cloaks upon the colt and set Jesus on it.
36 ᎠᎢᏒᏃ ᏧᎾᏄᏬ ᏚᏂᏰᏍᏛᏁ ᏅᏃᎯ.
As he went, they spread their cloaks on the road.
37 ᎾᎥᏃ ᏭᎷᏨ, ᎾᎿᎭᎠᎦᏐᎠᏍᎬ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎣᎵᏩᏲ ᎤᏌᎯᎸᎢ, ᏂᎦᏛ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎾᏓᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎤᎾᎴᏅᎮ ᎠᎾᎵᎮᎵᎨ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᎸᏉᏗᏍᎨ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᏍᏓᏯ ᎠᏂᏁᎨᎢ, ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗ ᏕᎦᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎸ ᎤᏂᎪᎲᎢ;
As he was now approaching the place where the Mount of Olives descends, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen,
38 ᎯᎠ ᎾᏂᏪᏍᎨᎢ. ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏱᎰᏩ ᏚᏙᏍᏛ ᏥᎦᎷᎯᏍᏗᎭ; ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏅᏩᏙᎯᏯᏛ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏩᏍᏛ ᎦᎸᎳᏗᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ!
saying, “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
39 ᎢᎦᏛᏃ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᎾᎿᎭᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᏄᎾᏛᏅ ᎯᎠ ᏅᏗᎬᏩᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᏘᏅᏍᏓᏗᏏ ᎨᏣᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ.
Some of the Pharisees in the multitude said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.”
40 ᎤᏁᏨᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᎯᎠ ᎡᎳᏪᏱ ᏳᏅᏅ, ᏅᏯ ᎩᎳᏉ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏯᏁᎷᎲᎦ.
Jesus answered and said, “I tell you, if these were silent, the stones would cry out.”
41 ᎾᎥᏃ ᎤᎷᏨ, ᏚᎧᎿᎭᏅ ᎦᏚᎲᎢ, ᎤᏍᎪᏂᎴᎢ,
When Jesus approached the city, he wept over it,
42 ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᏂᎯ ᏱᎯᎦᏔᎮᎢ, ᎥᎥ, ᏂᎯ, ᎪᎯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏣᏤᎵ ᎢᎦ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏩᏙᎯᏯᏛ ᏣᏁᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ! ᎠᏎᏃ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎡᏨᏍᎦᎳᏁᎸ.
saying, “If only you had known in this day, even you, the things which bring you peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
43 ᎾᎯᏳᏰᏃ ᎨᏒ ᏓᏣᎵᏰᎢᎶᎮᎵ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᏣᏍᎦᎩ ᎨᏒ ᏙᏛᏁᎵᏍᎦᎸᎯ ᎬᏩᏚᏫᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᏙᏓᎨᏣᏚᏫᏍᏔᏂ, ᎠᎴ ᏅᎦᏘᏓᏂ ᎨᏣᎵᏍᏚᏕᏍᏗ.
For the days will come upon you when your enemies will build a barricade around you, and surround you, and press in on you from every side.
44 ᎠᎴ ᎦᏙᎯ ᏓᎨᏣᏡᏂ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᏤᏥ ᎬᏂᏯᎢ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ; ᎠᎴ ᎥᏝ ᎨᏣᎯᏰᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏌᏉ ᏅᏯ ᏱᏚᏓᏌᏝᎮᏍᏗ; ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᎭ ᏂᎦᏔᎲᎾ ᏥᎨᏒ ᎢᏳ ᎡᏣᏩᏛᎯᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
They will strike you down to the ground and your children with you. They will not leave one stone upon another, because you did not recognize it when God was trying to save you.”
45 ᏭᏴᎸᏃ ᎤᏛᎾ-ᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ, ᎤᎴᏅᎮ ᏚᏄᎪᏫᏎ ᎾᎿᎭᎠᏂᏃᏗᏍᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏩᏒᎥᏍᎩ;
Jesus entered the temple and began to cast out those who were selling,
46 ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᎬᏅ ᎪᏪᎳ, ᏥᏁᎸ ᎠᏓᏙᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎠᏓᏁᎸ ᏚᏙᎠ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᏂᎯ ᎠᏂᏃᏍᎩᏍᎩ ᎤᏂᏴᏍᏗᏱ ᎤᏍᏓᎦᎸ ᏂᏨᏁᎸ.
saying to them, “It is written, 'My house will be a house of prayer,' but you have made it a den of robbers.”
47 ᏂᏚᎩᏨᏂᏒᏃ ᏓᏕᏲᎲᏍᎨ ᎤᏛᎾᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ. ᎠᏎᏃ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏃᏪᎵᏍᎩ ᎠᎴ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏫ ᎤᎾᏁᎶᏔᏁ ᎬᏩᎯᏍᏗᏱ.
So Jesus was teaching daily in the temple. The chief priests and the scribes and the leaders of the people wanted to kill him,
48 ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏠᏤ ᎢᏳᎾᏛᏁᏗᏱ; ᏂᎦᏛᏰᏃ ᏴᏫ ᎬᏩᏝᏫᏍᏗᏕᎨ ᎬᏩᏛᏓᏍᏓᏁᏗᏱ.
but they could not find a way to do it, because all the people were listening to him intently.
