1 Ug nahatabo sa human na ang kamatay, nga si Jehova misulti kang Moises, ug kang Eleazar, ang anak nga lalake ni Aaron, ang sacerdote, nga nagaingon:

And it came to pass after the plague, that Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,

Take the sum of the whole assembly of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, according to their fathers' houses, all that go forth to military service in Israel.

3 Ug si Moises ug si Eleazar ang sacerdote misulti kanila didto sa mga kapatagan sa Moab haduol sa Jordan sa Jerico, nga nagaingon:

And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan of Jericho, saying,

4 Isipon mo ang katawohan, sukad sa kaluhaan ka tuig ang panuigon ug ngadto sa itaas; ingon sa gisugo ni Jehova kang Moises ug sa mga anak sa Israel, nga migula gikan sa yuta sa Egipto.

From twenty years old and upward...; as Jehovah had commanded Moses and the children of Israel, who went forth out of the land of Egypt.

5 Si Ruben, ang panganay ni Israel: ang mga anak nga lalake ni Ruben: kang Hanoc, mao ang panimalay sa mga Hanochanon; kang Palu, mao ang panimalay sa mga Paluhanon;

Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: the children of Reuben: [of] Enoch, the family of the Enochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;

6 Gikan kang Hesron, mao ang panimalay sa mga Hesronhanon; kang Carmi, mao ang panimalay sa mga Carmihanon.

of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.

7 Kini mao ang mga panimalay sa mga Rubenhanon; ug sila nga mga naisip may kap-atan ug tolo ka libo pito ka gatus ug katloan.

These are the families of the Reubenites; and they that were numbered of them were forty-three thousand seven hundred and thirty.

8 Ug ang anak nga lalake ni Palu: si Eliab.

And the sons of Pallu: Eliab;

9 Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Eliab: si Nemuel, ug si Dathan, ug si Abiram. Kini si Dathan, ug si Abiram mao sila ang mga gitawag sa katilingban, nga mingsukol batok kang Moises ug batok kang Aaron diha sa ginsakupan ni Core, sa diha nga mingsukol sila batok kang Jehova.

and the sons of Eliab were Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, summoned of the assembly, who contended against Moses and against Aaron in the band of Korah, when they contended against Jehovah.

10 Ug ang yuta mibuka sa iyang baba, ug milamoy kanila lakip kang Core, sa diha nga ang ginasakupan niya nangamatay; sa diha nga ang kalayo milamoy sa duruha ka gatus ug kalim-an ka tawo, ug sila nahimo nga usa ka ilhanan.

And the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that band died, when the fire devoured the two hundred and fifty men; and they became a sign.

But the children of Korah died not.

13 Kang Zera, mao ang panimalay sa mga Zerahanon; kang Saul, mao ang panimalay sa mga Saulhanon.

of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites; of Saul, the family of the Saulites.

14 Kini mao ang mga panimalay sa mga Simeonhon, kaluhaan ug duha ka libo ug duruha ka gatus.

These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty-two thousand two hundred.

15 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Gad sunod sa ilang mga panimalay: kang Zepon, mao ang panimalay sa mga Zepohanon; kang Haggi, mao ang panimalay sa mga Haggihanon; kang Suni, mao ang panimalay sa mga Sunihanon:

The children of Gad, after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites;

16 Kang Ozni, mao ang panimalay sa mga Oznihanon; kang Eri, mao ang panimalay sa mga Arihanon;

of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites;

17 Kang Arodi, mao ang panimalay sa mga Arodihanon; kang Areli, mao ang panimalay sa mga Arelihanon.

of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites.

18 Kini mao ang mga panimalay sa mga anak nga lalake ni Gad; sumala niadtong mga naisip kanila, may kapatan ka libo ug lima ka gatus.

These are the families of the children of Gad according to those that were numbered of them, forty thousand five hundred.

19 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Juda: si Er ug si Onan; ug si Er ug si Onan nangamatay didto sa yuta sa Canaan.

The sons of Judah: Er and Onan; and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.

21 Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Phares mao kini: kang Hesron, mao ang panimalay sa mga Hesrohanon; kang Hamul, mao ang panimalay sa mga Hamulahanon.

And the sons of Pherez: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.

22 Kini mao ang mga panimalay ni Juda sumala niadtong mga naisip kanila, may kapitoan ug unom ka libo ug lima ka gatus.

These are the families of Judah according to those that were numbered of them, seventy-six thousand five hundred.

23 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Issachar sunod sa ilang mga panimalay: kang Tola, mao ang panimalay sa mga Tolahanon; kang Pua, mao ang panimalay sa mga Puahanon;

The sons of Issachar, after their families: of Tola, the family of the Tolaites; of Puah, the family of the Punites;

24 Kang Jasub, mao ang panimalay sa mga Jasubihanon; kang Simron, mao ang panimalay sa mga Simronhanon.

of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.

25 Kini mao ang mga panimalay ni Isacchar sumala niadtong mga naisip kanila, may kan-uman ug upat ka libo ug totolo ka gatus.

These are the families of Issachar according to those that were numbered of them, sixty-four thousand three hundred.

26 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Zabulon sunod sa ilang mga panimalay: kang Sered, mao ang panimalay sa mga Seredihanon; kang Elon, mao ang panimalay sa mga Elonhon; kang Jalel, mao ang panimalay sa mga Jalelhanon.

The sons of Zebulun, after their families: of Sered, the family of the Sardites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.

27 Kini mao ang mga panimalay sa mga Zabulonhon sumala niadtong mga naisip kanila, may kan-uman ka libo ug lima ka gatus.

These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those that were numbered of them, sixty thousand five hundred.

28 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Jose sunod sa ilang mga panimalay: si Manases ug si Ephraim.

The sons of Joseph, after their families: Manasseh and Ephraim.

29 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Manases: kang Machir, mao ang panimalay sa mga Machirhanon; ug si Machir nag-anak kang Galaad: kang Galaad, mao ang panimalay sa mga Galaadhanon.

The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites (and Machir begot Gilead); of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.

30 Kini mao ang mga anak nga lalake ni Galaad: kang Jezer, mao ang panimalay sa mga Jezerhanon; kang Helec, mao ang panimalay sa mga Helechanon:

These are the sons of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helkites;

31 Ug sa kang Arsiel, mao ang panimalay sa mga Arsielhanon; ug sa kang Sechem, mao ang panimalay sa mga Sechemhanon;

and of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; and of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites;

32 Ug sa kang Semida, mao ang panimalay sa mga Semidahanon; ug sa kang Hepher, mao ang panimalay sa mga Hepherhanon.

and of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.

33 Ug si Salphaad, ang anak nga lalake ni Hepher walay mga anak nga lalake, kondili mga babaye: ug ang mga ngalan sa mga anak nga babaye ni Salphaad, mao si Maala, ug si Noa, si Hogla, si Milca, ug si Tirsa.

— And Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

34 Kini mao ang mga panimalay ni Manases; ug ang mga naisip kanila may kalim-an ug duha ka libo ug pito ka gatus.

— These are the families of Manasseh; and those that were numbered of them, fifty-two thousand seven hundred.

35 Kini mao ang mga anak nga lalake ni Ephraim sunod sa ilang mga panimalay: kang Suthala, mao ang panimalay sa mga Suthalahanon; kang Becher, mao ang panimalay sa mga Becherhanon; kang Tahan, mao ang panimalay sa mga Tahanhanon.

These are the sons of Ephraim, after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites; of Becher, the family of the Bachrites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.

36 Ug kini mao ang mga anak nga lalake ni Suthala: kang Heran, mao ang panimalay sa mga Heranhanon.

And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.

37 Kini mao ang mga panimalay sa mga anak nga lalake ni Ephraim sumala niadtong mga naisip kanila, may katloan ug duruha ka libo ug lima ka gatus. Kini mao ang mga anak nga lalake ni Jose sunod sa ilang mga panimalay.

These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty-two thousand five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.

38 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Benjamin sunod sa ilang mga panimalay: sa kang Bela, mao ang panimalay sa mga Belahanon; sa kang Asbel, mao ang panimalay sa mga Asbelhanon; sa kang Achiram, mao ang panimalay sa mga Achiramhanon;

The sons of Benjamin, after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;

39 Sa kang Supham, mao ang panimalay sa mga Suphamhanon; sa kang Hupham, mao ang panimalay sa mga Huphamhanon.

of Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.

40 Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Bela mao si Ard ug si Naaman sa kang Ard, mao ang panimalay sa mga Ardhanon; sa kang Naaman, mao ang panimalay sa mga Naamanhanon.

And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman; [of Ard] the family of the Ardites; of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.

41 Kini mao ang mga anak nga lalake ni Benjamin sunod sa ilang mga panimalay; ug sila nga mga naisip kanila, may kap-atan ug lima ka libo ug unom ka gatus.

These are the sons of Benjamin after their families; and they that were numbered of them were forty-five thousand six hundred.

42 Kini mao ang mga anak nga lalake ni Dan sunod sa ilang mga panimalay: sa kang Suham, mao ang panimalay sa mga Suhamhanon. Kini mao ang mga panimalay ni Dan sunod sa ilang mga panimalay.

These are the sons of Dan, after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.

43 Ang tanang mga panimalay sa mga Suhamhanon, sumala niadtong mga naisip kanila, may kan-uman ug upat ka libo ug upat ka gatus.

All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were sixty-four thousand four hundred.

44 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Aser sunod sa ilang mga panimalay: sa kang Imna, mao ang panimalay sa mga Imnahanon; sa kang Issui, mao ang panimalay sa mga Issuihanon; sa kang Beria, mao ang panimalay sa mga Beriahanon.

The sons of Asher, after their families: of Jimnah, the family of the Jimnites; of Jishvi, the family of the Jishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.

45 Sa mga anak nga lalake ni Beria: sa kang Heber, mao ang panimalay sa mga Heberhanon; sa kang Malchiel, mao ang panimalay sa mga Malchielhanon.

Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.

46 Ug ang ngalan sa anak nga babaye ni Aser mao si Sera.

And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.

47 Kini mao ang mga panimalay sa mga anak nga lalake ni Aser sumala niadtong mga naisip kanila, may kalim-an ug totolo ka libo ug upat ka gatus.

These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them, fifty-three thousand four hundred.

48 Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Naphtali sunod sa ilang mga panimalay: sa kang Jaseel, mao ang panimalay sa mga Jaseelhanon; sa kang Gani, mao ang panimalay sa mga Ganihanon;

The sons of Naphtali, after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;

49 Sa kang Jeser, mao ang panimalay sa mga Jeserhanon; sa kang Silem, mao ang panimalay sa mga Silemhanon.

of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.

50 Kini mao ang mga panimalay ni Naphtali sumala sa ilang mga panimalay; ug sila nga mga naisip kanila, may kap-atan ug lima ka libo ug upat ka gatus.

These are the families of Naphtali, according to their families; and they that were numbered of them were forty-five thousand four hundred.

51 Kini mao sila nga mga naisip sa mga anak sa Israel, may unom ka gatus ka libo ug usa ka libo pito ka gatus ug katloan.

These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.

52 Ug si Jehova misulti kang Moises, nga nagaingon:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

53 Dinhi niini ang yuta pagabahinon alang sa usa ka panulondon sumala sa gidaghanon sa mga ngalan.

Unto these shall the land be divided for an inheritance according to the number of the names;

54 Sa may daghan ihatag mo ang labing daku nga panulondon, ug sa may diriyut, ang labing diyutay nga panulondon: alang sa tagsatagsa sumala niadtong mga naisip kaniya igahatag ang iyang panulondon.

to the many thou shalt increase their inheritance, and to the few thou shalt diminish their inheritance; to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.

55 Bisan pa niana, ang yuta pagabahinon pinaagi sa pagpapalad: sumala sa mga ngalan sa mga banay sa ilang mga amahan, sila magapanunod niini.

Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot; according to the names of the tribes of their fathers shall they inherit;

56 Sumala sa mahaigo sa palad pagabahinon ang ilang panulondon sa taliwala sa may daghan ug sa may diriyut.

according to lot shall his inheritance be divided to each, be they many or few in number.

57 Ug kini mao ang mga naisip sa mga Levihanon sunod sa ilang mga panimalay: sa kang Gerson, mao ang panimalay sa mga Gersonhon; sa kang Coath, mao ang panimalay sa mga Coathihanon; sa kang Merari, mao ang panimalay sa mga Merarihanon.

And these are the numbered of the Levites, after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.

58 Kini mao ang mga panimalay ni Levi: ang panimalay sa mga Levihanon, ang panimalay sa mga Hebronhanon, ang panimalay sa mga Mahalhanon, ang panimalay sa mga Musihanon, ang panimalay sa mga Corihanon. Ug si Coath nag-anak kang Amram.

These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korahites. — And Kohath begot Amram.

59 Ug ang ngalan sa asawa ni Amram mao si Jacobed, ang anak nga babaye ni Levi, siya nga natawo kang Levi didto sa Egipto: ug siya nag-anak gikan kang Amram kang Aaron ug kang Moises, ug kang Miriam nga ilang igsoong babaye.

And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

60 Ug kang Aaron nangatawo si Nadab ug si Abiu, si Eleazar ug si Ithamar.

And to Aaron were born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

61 Ug si Nadab ug si Abiu nangamatay, sa diha nga mihalad sila ug kalayo nga lain sa atubangan ni Jehova.

And Nadab and Abihu died, when they presented strange fire before Jehovah.

62 Ug sila nga mga naisip kanila may kaluhaan ug totolo ka libo, tagsatagsa ka lalake sukad sa usa ka bulan ang kagulangon ug ngadto sa itaas: kay sila wala maisip lakip sa mga anak sa Israel, tungod kay wala panulondon nga gihatag kanila nga lakip sa mga anak sa Israel.

And those that were numbered of the [Levites] were twenty-three thousand, all males from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.

63 Kini mao ang mga naisip ni Moises ug ni Eleazar, ang sacerdote, nga nag-isip sa mga anak sa Israel didto sa kapatagan sa Moab haduol sa Jordan didto sa Jerico.

These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab, by the Jordan of Jericho.

64 Apan sa kinataliwad-an nila walay bisan usa ka tawo sa mga naisip ni Moises ug ni Aaron, ang sacerdote, sa diha nga sila nanag-isip sa mga anak sa Israel didto sa kamingawan sa Sinai.

But among these there was not a man numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.

65 Kay si Jehova miingon mahitungod kanila: Sila sa pagkamatuod gayud mangamatay sa kamingawan. Ug walay nahabilin nga usa ka tawo kanila, gawas kang Caleb, ang anak nga lalake ni Jephone, ug kang Josue, ang anak nga lalake ni Nun.

For Jehovah had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
