Genesis 26
1 Ug may gutom sa yuta, labut pa sa unang gutom sa mga adlaw ni Abraham; ug miadto si Isaac kang Abimelech nga hari sa mga Filistihanon sa Gerar.
And there fell a derth in ye lande passinge the first derth yt fell in the dayes of Abraham. Wherfore Isaac went vnto Abimelech kinge of ye Philistias vnto Gerar.
2 Ug mitungha kaniya si Jehova, ug siya miingon kaniya: Dili ka maglugsong ngadto sa Egipto: pumuyo ka sa yuta nga akong igaingon kanimo:
The the LORde apeared vnto him and sayde goo not doune in to Egipte but byde in ye land which I saye vnto ye:
3 Pumuyo ka niining yutaa, ug ako magauban kanimo, ug ikaw pagapanalanginan ko; kay kanimo ug sa imong kaliwatan, igahatag ko ngatanan kining mga yutaa, ug pagatukoron ko ang panumpa nga gipanumpaan ko kang Abraham nga imong amahan.

4 Ug pagapadaghanon ko ang imong kaliwatan ingon sa mga bitoon sa langit, ug igahatag ko sa imong kaliwatan kining tanan nga mga yuta; ug ang tanang mga nasud sa yuta mapanalanginan diha sa imong kaliwat:
and will multiplye thy seed as ye starres of heave and will geue vnto thy seed all these contreis. And thorow thy seed shall all the natios of the erth be blessed
5 Kay nagpatalinghug si Abraham sa akong tingog, ug gibantayan niya ang akong tulomanon, ang akong mga sugo, ang akong mga pamatasan, ug ang akong mga balaod.

6 Busa, mipuyo si Isaac sa Gerar.

And it happened after he had bene there longe tyme yt Abimelech kinge of ye Philistias loked out at a wyndow and sawe Isaac sportinge with Rebecca his wife.
9 Ug gitawag ni Abimelech si Isaac, ug miingon siya: Ania karon, siya mao, sa pagkamatuod, ang imong asawa busa, nganong miingon ka: Siya akong igsoon nga babaye? Ug si Isaac mitubag kaniya: Kay miingon ako, tingali ug mamatay ako tungod kaniya.
And Abimelech sende for Isaac and sayde: se she is of a suertie thi wife and why saydest thou yt she was thi sister? And Isaac saide vnto hi: I thoughte yt I mighte peradventure haue dyed for hir sake.
10 Ug si Abimelech miingon: Unsa kining gibuhat mo kanamo? Ang usa sa mga tawo diriyut makatipon paghigda sa imong asawa, ug ikaw mao unta ang magadala ug sala sa ibabaw kanamo.
The fayde Abimelech: whi hast thou done this vnto vs? one of ye people myght lightely haue lyne by thy wife and so shuldest thou haue broughte synne vpon vs
11 Unya si Abimelech nagsugo sa tanan nga mga tawo nga nagaingon: Ang magatandog niining tawohana kun sa iyang asawa, sa pagkamatuod, pagapatyon siya.
Tha Abimelech charged all his people saynge: he yt toucheth this man or his wife shall surely dye for it.
12 Ug nagpugas si Isaac niadtong yutaa, ug nakapanuig niadtong tuiga ug usa ka gatus ka pilo, kay siya gipanalanginan ni Jehova.
And Isaac sowed in yt lade and founde in ye same yere an hudred bushels: for ye LORde blessed hi
13 Ug ang tawo midaku ug nagpadayon sa pagdaku hangtud nga siya nahimo nga labing daku gayud.
and the man waxed mightye and wet forth and grewe till he was exceadinge great
14 Ug nakapanag-iya siya sa mga panon sa mga carnero, ug nakapanag-iya sa mga panon sa mga vaca, ug daku nga panimalay: Ug nangasina kaniya ang mga Filistihanon.

16 Ug miingon si Abimelech kang Isaac: Pahilayo ka kanamo; kay ikaw labi pa gayud nga gamhanan kay kanamo.
Than sayde Abimelech vnto Isaac: gett the fro me for thou art myhhtier then we a greate deale.
17 Ug si Isaac mipahawa didto. Ug gipatindog niya ang iyang mga balongbalong sa walog sa Gerar, ug mipuyo didto.
Than Isaac departed thense and pitched his tente in the valey Gerar and dwelt there,
18 Ug gikalot pag-usab ni Isaac ang mga atabay sa tubig, nga ilang gikalot sa mga adlaw ni Abraham, nga iyang amahan; kay gitabonan sa mga Filistihanon sa tapus mamatay si Abraham. Ug kini gihinganlan niya ingon sa mga ngalan nga gibutang kanila sa iyang amahan.
And Isaac digged agayne the welles of water which they dygged in the dayes of Abraha his father which the Philestias had stoppe after ye deth of Abraha and gaue the the same names which hys father gaue the.
19 Ug ang mga binatonan ni Isaac nanagkalot didto sa walog, ug hingkaplagan nila didto ang usa ka atabay sa mga tubig nga nagatubod.
As Isaacs seruautes dygged in the valey they founde a well of springynge water.
20 Ug ang mga magbalantay sa kahayupan sa Gerar nanagpakig-away sa mga magbalantay sa kahayupan ni Isaac, nga nagaingon: Ang tubig amo man. Ug gihinganlan ang atabay Esek, kay sila nakig-away kaniya.
And the herdme of Gerar dyd stryue with Isaacs herdme saynge: the water is oures Than called he the well Eseck because they stroue with hym.
21 Ug nagkalot na usab sila ug lain nga atabay, ug nakig-away usab sila tungod niini; ug kini gihinganlan niya Sitnah.
Than dygged they another well and they stroue for yt also. Therfore called he it Sitena.
22 Ug mipahawa siya didto, ug mikalot ug laing atabay; ug alang niana wala na sila makig-away; ug kini gihinganlan niya Rehoboth, ug miingon siya: Sanglit karon si Jehova mihatag ug dapit alang kanato ug magadaghan kita sa yuta.
And than he departed these and dygged a nother well for the which they stroue not: therfore called he it Rehoboth saige: ye LORde hath now made vs rowme and we are encreased vpo the erth.
23 Ug siya mitungas gikan didto padulong sa Beer-seba.
Afterward departed he thece and came to Berseba
24 Ug mitungha kaniya ang Ginoo niadtong gabhiona, ug miingon: Ako mao ang Dios ni Abraham, nga imong amahan; dili ka mahadlok kay ako magauban kanimo ug ikaw pagapanalanginan ko, ug pagapadaghanon ko ang imong kaliwatan tungod kang Abraham nga akong ulipon.
And the LORde apered vnto hi the same nyghte and sayde. I am the God of Abraha thy father feare not for I am with the and will blesse the and multiplye thy sede for my seruaute Abrahams sake.
25 Ug si Isaac mipatindog didto ug usa ka halaran, ug nangaliya siya sa ngalan ni Jehova; ug gipatindog niya didto ang iyang balongbalong; ug ang mga binatonan ni Isaac nagkalot ug usa ka atabay.
And than he buylded an aulter there and called vpo the name of the LORde and there pitched his tente. And there Isaacs servauntes dygged a well.
26 Unya si Abimelech miadto kaniya gikan sa Gerar ug si Ahussath, nga abyan niya, ug si Pichol, nga capitan sa iyang kasundalohan.
Than came Abimelech to him fro Gerar and Ahusath his frende and Phicol his chefe captayne.
27 Ug miingon kanila si Isaac: Nganong mianhi kamo kanako, sa nakita nga kamo nagadumot kanako, nga gisalikway man gani ninyo ako sa halayo kaninyo?
And Isaac sayde vnto the: wherfore come ye to me seige ye hate me and haue put me awaye fro you?
28 Ug sila mingtubag: Nakita namo sa dayag gayud nga si Jehova nag-uban kanimo ug nanag-ingon kami: Himoon ta ang usa ka panumpa sa taliwala kanato, bisan sa taliwala kanamo ug kanimo, ug magapakigsaad kami kanimo;

And they rose vp by tymes in the mornynge and sware one to another. And Isaac sent the awaye. And they departed from him in peace.

35 Ug kini sila mao ang kapaitan sa kalag alang kang Isaac ug kang Rebeca.
