Roma 8
1 Busa karon wala nay paghukom alang niadtong anaa na kang Cristo Jesus.
Ther is then no damnacion to them which are in Christ Iesu which walke not after ye flesshe: but after ye sprete.
2 Kay ang kasugoan sa Espiritu sa kinabuhi diha kang Cristo Jesus naghimo kanako nga gawasnon gikan sa kasugoan sa sala ug sa kamatayon.
For the lawe of the sprete yt bringeth life thorowe Iesus Christ hath delivered me fro the lawe of synne and deeth.
3 Kay kung unsa ang dili mahimo sa balaod tungod kay kini luya pinaagi sa unod, gibuhat sa Dios. Iyang gipadala ang iyang kaugalingong Anak sa pagkasama sa makasasalang unod aron mamahimong halad alang sa sala, ug gihukman niya ang sala diha sa unod.
For what the lawe coulde not doo in as moche it was weake because of the flesshe: that performed God and sent his sonne in the similitude of synfull flesshe and by synne daned synne in ye flesshe:
4 Gibuhat niya kini aron ang gikinahanglan sa balaod matuman dinhi kanato, kita maglakaw dili sumala sa atong unod, kondili sumala sa Espiritu.
that the rightewesnes requyred of the lawe myght be fulfilled in vs which walke not after the flesshe but after the sprete.
5 Kadtong nagkinabuhi sumala sa unod nagtagad sa mga butang sa unod, apan kadtong nagkinabuhi sumala sa Espiritu nagtagad sa mga butang sa Espiritu.
For they that are carnall are carnally mynded. But they that are spirituall are gostly mynded.
6 Kay ang panghunahuna sa unod mao ang kamatayon, apan ang panghunahuna sa Espiritu mao ang kinabuhi ug kalinaw.
To be carnally mynded is deeth. But to be spiritually mynded is lyfe and peace.
7 Tungod kay ang hunahuna sa unod mao ang pagpakig-away batok sa Dios, kay dili kini sakop sa balaod sa Dios, ni mahimo kini.
Because that the flesshly mynde is emnyte agaynst God: for it is not obedient to the lawe of God nether can be.
8 Kadtong mga anaa sa unod dili makapahimuot sa Dios.
So then they yt are geven to the flesshe canot please God.
9 Bisan pa niini, kamo wala na sa unod kondili anaa na sa Espiritu, kung matuod kini nga ang Espiritu sa Dios nagpuyo kaninyo. Apan kung ang usa ka tawo wala makaangkon sa Espiritu ni Cristo, siya dili sakop kaniya.
But ye are not geven to the flesshe but to the sprete: yf so be that ye sprite of God dwell in you. If ther be eny man yt hath not ye sprite of Christ ye same is none of his.
10 Kung si Cristo anaa kaninyo, ang lawas patay na diha sa sala, apan ang Espiritu buhi diha sa pagkamatarong.
Yf Christ be in you the body is deed because of synne: but the sprite is lyfe for rightewesnes sake.
11 Kung ang Espiritu niya nga nagbanhaw kang Jesus gikan sa mga patay nagapuyo kaninyo, siya nga nagbanhaw kang Cristo gikan sa patay magahatag ug kinabuhi usab sa inyong mga lawas nga may kamatayon pinaagi sa iyang Espiritu, nga nagpuyo nganha kaninyo.
Wherfore if the sprite of him that raysed vppe Iesus fro deeth dwell in you: even he that raysed vp Christ from deeth shall quycken youre mortall bodyes because that this sprite dwelleth in you.
12 Busa, mga igsoon, mga utangan kita, apan dili sa unod nga pagkinabuhi sumala sa unod.
Therfore brethren we are nowe detters not to the flesshe to live after the flesshe.
13 Kay kung magkinabuhi kamo sumala sa unod, mangamatay kamo, apan kung pinaagi sa Espiritu gibutang ninyo sa kamatayon ang mga buhat sa lawas, mabuhi kamo.
For if ye live after the flesshe ye must dye. But yf ye mortifie the dedes of the body by the helpe of the sprite ye shall lyve.
14 Kay sama sa gidaghanon nga gigiyahan pinaagi sa Espiritu sa Dios, mao kining mga anak sa Dios.
For as many as are led by the sprete of God: they are the sonnes of god.
15 Kay wala kamo makadawat sa espiritu sa pagkaulipon pag-usab aron nga mahadlok. Hinuon, kamo nakadawat sa espiritu sa pagkasinagop, diin makasangpit kita, “Abba, Amahan!”
For ye have no receaved the sprete of bondage to feare eny moare but ye have receaved the sprite of adopcion wherby we crye Abba father.
16 Ang Espiritu sa iyang kaugalingon magasaksi uban sa atong espiritu nga kita mga anak sa Dios.
The same sprete certifieth oure sprete yt we are the sonnes of God.
17 Kung kita mga anak, unya mga manununod usab kita, mga manununod sa Dios. Ug hiniusa kitang mga manununod uban kang Cristo, kung mag-antos gayod kita uban kaniya aron nga kita usab himayaon uban kaniya.
Yf we be sonnes we are also heyres the heyres I meane of God and heyres anexed with Christ: if so be that we suffer togedder that we maye be glorified to gedder.
18 Kay akong giisip ang mga pag-antos niining panahona dili takos nga ikatandi sa himaya nga ipadayag nganhi kanato.
For I suppose that the affliccions of this lyfe are not worthy of the glory which shalbe shewed vpon vs.
19 Kay ang naghinamhinam nga paghandom sa binuhat nagahulat sa pagpadayag sa mga anak sa Dios.
Also the fervent desyre of the creatures abideth lokynge when the sonnes of God shall appere
20 Kay ang binuhat napailalom sa pagkakawang, dili sa kaugalingong pagbuot, apan kaniya nga nagtugot niini. Mao kini ang kasiguradohan
because the creatures are subdued to vanyte agaynst their will: but for his will which subdueth them in hope.
21 nga ang binuhat mismo itugyan gikan sa pagkaulipon ngadto sa pagmadunuton, ug kini pagadad-on ngadto sa kagawasan sa himaya sa mga anak sa Dios.
For ye very creatures shalbe delivered from the bondage of corrupcion into the glorious lybertie of the sonnes of God.
22 Kay nasayod kita nga ang tibuok binuhat nag-agulo ug nag-antos sa kasakit hangtod karon.
For we knowe that every creature groneth with vs also and travayleth in payne even vnto this tyme.
23 Dili lamang kana, kondili bisan sa atong kaugalingon, nga adunay naunang mga bunga sa Espiritu—bisan kita mismo nag-agulo sulod sa atong kaugalingon, nagahulat alang sa atong pagkasinagop, ang pagtubos sa atong lawas.
Not they only but even we also which have the fyrst frutes of the sprite morne in oureselves and wayte for the (adopcio) and loke for the delivraunce of oure bodyes.
24 Kay pinaagi niining pagsalig naluwas kita. Apan kung unsa ang atong gisaligan nga mahitabo nga wala pa nakita, kay si kinsa man ang masaligon nga maghulat alang niadtong nakita na niya?
For we are savyd by hope. But hope that is sene is no hope. For how can a ma hope for that which he seyth?
25 Apan kung masaligon kita sa wala pa nato makita, maghulat kita uban ang pagpailob niini.
But and yf we hope for that we se not then do we with pacience abyde for it.
26 Sa samang paagi, ang Espiritu usab magtabang sa atong kaluhayon. Kay wala kita masayod kung unsaon nato pag-ampo, apan ang Espiritu mismo maoy mangaliyupo alang kanato sa dili malitok nga mga agulo.
Lyke wyse ye sprite also helpeth oure infirmities. For we knowe not what to desyre as we ought: but the sprete maketh intercession mightely for vs with gronynges which canot be expressid with tonge.
27 Siya nga nagasusi sa mga kasingkasing nasayod sa hunahuna sa Espiritu, tungod kay siya nangaliyupo alang sa mga magtutuo sumala sa kabubut-on sa Dios.
And he that searcheth the hertes knoweth what is ye meaninge of the sprite: for he maketh intercession for the sayntes accordinge to ye pleasure of god.
28 Nasayod kita alang niadtong nahigugma sa Dios, gibuhat niya ang tanang butang alang sa maayo, alang niadtong gitawag sumala sa iyang katuyoan.
For we knowe that all thinges worke for the best vnto them yt love God which also are called of purpose.
29 Tungod kay kadtong giila na niyang daan, gipili usab niyang daan aron mahisama sa hulagway sa iyang Anak, aron mamahimo siyang kamagulangan sa daghang magsoon.
For those which he knewe before he also ordeyned before yt they shuld be lyke fassioned vnto the shape of his sonne that he myght be ye fyrst begotten sonne amoge many brethren.
30 Kadtong gipangpili na niyang daan, iya usab kining gitawag. Kadtong iyang gitawag, iya usab kining gipakamatarong. Kadtong iyang gipakamatarong, iya usab kining gihimaya.
Morover which he apoynted before them he also called. And which he called them also he iustified which he iustified them he also glorified.
31 Unya unsa ang atong ikasulti mahitungod niining mga butanga? Kung ang Dios dapig kanato, kinsa man ang makabatok kanato?
What shall we then saye vnto these thinges? yf god be on oure syde: who can be agaynst vs?
32 Wala niya gihikaw ang iyang kaugalingong Anak kondili gitugyan siya alang kanatong tanan, kung giunsa nga dili usab niya ihatag kanato sa walay bayad ang tanang mga butang?
which spared not his awne sonne but gave him for vs all: how shall he not wt him geve vs all thinges also?
33 Kinsa ba ang magdala sa bisan unsa nga pasangil batok sa usa nga pinili sa Dios? Ang Dios mao ang usa nga nagpakamatarong.
Who shall laye eny thinge to ye charge of goddes chosen? it is god that iustifieth:
34 Kinsa ang usa nga magahukom sa silot? Si Cristo mao ang usa nga namatay alang kanato, ug labaw pa niana, nabanhaw usab siya. Nagamando siya uban sa Dios didto sa dapit sa kadungganan, ug siya mao ang usa nga mangaliyupo alang kanato.
who then shall condempne? it is Christ which is deed ye rather which is rysen agayne which is also on the ryght honde of God and maketh intercession for vs.
35 Kinsa ang makapahimulag kanato gikan sa gugma ni Cristo? Kagul-anan ba, o kasakit, o paglutos, o kagutom, o pagkahubo, o kakuyaw, o espada?
Who shall seperate vs fro the love of god? shall tribulacion? or anguysshe? or persecucion? other honger? other nakednesse? other parell? other swearde?
36 Sama kini sa nahisulat, “Alang sa imong kaayohan ginapamatay kami sa tanan nga adlaw. Giisip kami sama sa karnero nga ihawonon.”
As it is written: For thy sake are we kylled all daye longe and are counted as shepe apoynted to be slayne.
37 Niining tanang butang labaw pa kita sa mga mananaog pinaagi sa usa nga nahigugma kanato.
Neverthelesse in all these thinges we overcome strongly thorow his helpe that loved vs.
38 Kay ako hugot nga nagtuo nga bisan ang kamatayon, ni ang kinabuhi, ni ang mga anghel, ni ang panggamhanan, ni ang mga butang sa kasamtangan, ni ang mga butang nga moabot, ni ang mga gahom,
Ye and I am sure that nether deeth nether lyfe nether angels nor rule nether power nether thinges present nether thinges to come
39 ni ang kataas, ni ang kalawom, ni ang bisan unsang binuhat nga butang, mamahimong makapahimulag kanato gikan sa gugma sa Dios, nga anaa kang Cristo Jesus nga atong Ginoo.
nether heyth nether loweth nether eny other creature shalbe able to departe vs fro ye love of God shewed in Christ Iesu oure lorde.
