Mga Salmo 60

1 Dios imo kaming gipahilayo; imong giguba ang among mga panalipod; nasuko ka; ipasig-uli kami pag-usab.

To the chief Musician upon Shushan-eduth, Michtam of David, to teach; when he strove with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, when Joab returned, and smote of Edom in the valley of salt twelve thousand. O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

2 Giuyog nimo ang yuta; gipaliki mo kini; ayoha ang mga liki niini, kay kini nauyog.

Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

3 Gihimo nimo ang imong katawhan nga makakita ug lisod nga mga butang; gipainom mo kami ug bino aron magsumparay.

Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

4 Alang niadtong nagtahod kanimo, imong gipahimutang ang bandila nga madayag batok niadtong nagbitbit sa pana. (Selah)

Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. (Selah)

5 Aron nga kadtong imong gihigugma maluwas, luwasa kami sa imong tuo nga kamot ug tubaga ako.

That thy beloved may be delivered; save [with] thy right hand, and hear me.

6 Ang Dios nagsulti sa iyang pagkabalaan, “Magmaya ako; tungaon ko ang Siquem ug bahinbahinon ang walog sa Succoth.

God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

7 Akoa ang Gilead, ug akoa ang Manasseh; ug ang Efraim usab ang panalipod sa akong ulo; Ang Juda ang akong setro.

Gilead [is] mine, and Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim also [is] the strength of mine head; Judah [is] my lawgiver;

8 Ang Moab mao ang akong hunawanan; akong ilabay ang akong sapatos ngadto sa Edom; mosinggit ako sa kadaogan tungod sa Filistia.

Moab [is] my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

9 Kinsa ang magdala kanako ngadto sa lig-on nga siyudad? Kinsa ang maggiya kanako sa Edom?

Who will bring me [into] the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

10 Apan ikaw, O Dios, wala mo ba kami gisalikway? Wala ka moadto sa gira uban ang among mga kasundalohan.

[Wilt] not thou, O God, [which] hadst cast us off? and [thou], O God, [which] didst not go out with our armies?

11 Hatagi kami ug tabang batok sa kaaway, kay ang tabang sa tawo walay pulos.

Give us help from trouble: for vain [is] the help of man.

12 Magmalampuson kami pinaagi sa tabang sa Dios; iyang pagayatakan ang among mga kaaway.

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he [it is that] shall tread down our enemies.
