Mga Salmo 54

1 Luwasa ako, O Dios, pinaagi sa imong ngalan, ug hukmi ako sa imong kusog.

For the Leader; with string-music. Maschil of David: when the Ziphites came and said to Saul: 'Doth not David hide himself with us?' O God, save me by Thy name, and right me by Thy might.

2 Dungga ang akong pag-ampo, Dios; paminawa ang mga pulong sa akong baba.

O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3 Kay ang mga langyaw nakigbatok kanako, ug ang mga walay kaluoy nga kalalakin-an nangita sa akong kinabuhi. Wala nila gibutang ang Dios taliwala kanila. (Selah)

For strangers are risen up against me, and violent men have sought after my soul; they have not set God before them. (Selah)

4 Tan-awa, ang Dios maoy akong magtatabang, ang Ginoo maoy naglaban kanako.

Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is for me as the upholder of my soul.

5 Panimaslan niya ug daotan ang akong mga kaaway; sa imong pagkamatinud-anon, laglaga (sila)

He will requite the evil unto them that lie in wait for me; destroy Thou them in Thy truth.

6 Magahalad ako kanimo ug kinabubut-ong halad; magpasalamat ako sa imong ngalan, Yahweh, tungod kay maayo kini.

With a freewill-offering will I sacrifice unto Thee; I will give thanks unto Thy name, O LORD, for it is good.

7 Kay giluwas niya ako sa tanang pagsulay; ang akong mata nagtan-aw sa kadaogan ngadto sa akong mga kaaway.

For He hath delivered me out of all trouble; and mine eye hath gazed upon mine enemies.
