1 Miabot ang takna human sa hampak, nakigsulti si Yahweh ngadto kang Moises ug kang Eleazar nga anak sa pari nga si Aaron. Miingon siya,
And it came to pass after the plague, That the Lord spoke unto Moses and unto Elazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
2 “Ihapa ang tanang katilingban sa katawhan sa Israel, gikan sa nagpanuigon ug 20 anyos pataas, sumala sa pamilya nga ilang gigikanan, ang tanan nga makahimo sa pag-adto sa gubat alang sa Israel.”
Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by the descent from their fathers, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel.

And Moses with El'azar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying,

[Take the sum of the people, ] from twenty years old and upward; as the Lord commanded Moses and the children of Israel, who went forth out of the land of Egypt.

7 Mao kini ang kabanayan sa mga kaliwat ni Ruben, nga mikabat ug 43, 730 ka mga kalalakin-an.
These are the families of the Reubenites; and those that were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
8 Si Eliab ang anak nga lalaki ni Pallu.
And the sons of Pallu: Eliab.
9 Ang mga anak nga lalaki ni Eliab mao sila si Nemuel, Datan ug Abiram. Mao kini ang Datan ug Abiram nga misunod kang Kora sa dihang ilang gihagit si Moises ug si Aaron ug nakigbatok kang Yahweh.
And the sons of Eliab: Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. These are Dathan and Abiram, men called to the assembly, who quarreled against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korach, at the time they quarreled against the Lord;

Of Zerach, the family of the Zarchites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.

These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty and two thousand and two hundred.

The sons of Judah were 'Er and Onan; and 'Er with Onan died in the land of Canaan.

These are the families of Judah, according to those that were numbered of them, seventy and six thousand and five hundred.

These are the families of the Zebulonites according to those that were numbered of them, sixty thousand and five hundred.
28 Si Manases ug Efraim mga kaliwat ni Jose.
The sons of Joseph after their families are Menasseh and Ephraim.
29 Mao kini ang mga kaliwat ni Manases: kang Machir, ang banay sa mga Makirhanon (Si Makir ang amahan ni Gilead), kang Gilead, ang banay sa mga Gileadihanon.
The sons of Menasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir begat Gil'ad; of Gil'ad, the family of the Gil'adites.
30 Mao kini ang mga kaliwat ni Gilead: Kang Iezer, ang banay sa mga Iezerhanon, kang Helek, ang banay sa mga Helekanhon,
These are the sons of Gil'ad: of I'ezer, the family of the I'ezerites; of Chelek, the family of the Chelkites;

And of Assriel, the family of the Assrielites; and of Shechem, the family of the Shichmites;

These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelach, the family of the Shuthalchites; of Becher, the family of the Bachrites; of Tachan, the family of the Tachanites.
36 Ang mga kaliwat ni Sutela mao ang, kang Eran, ang banay sa mga Erananhon.
And these are the sons of Shuthelach: of 'Eran, the family of the Eranites.
37 Mao kini ang kabanayan sa mga kaliwat ni Efraim, nga nikabat ug 32, 500 ka mga kalalakin-an. Mao kini ang mga kaliwat ni Jose nga giihap sumala sa ilang kabanayan.
These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred: these are the sons of Joseph after their families.
38 Mao kini ang kabanayan sa mga kaliwat ni Benjamin: Kang Bela, ang banay sa mga Belahanon, kang Asbel, ang banay sa mga Asbelhanon, kang Ahiram, ang banay sa mga Ahiramhanon,
The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela', the family of the Bal'ites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Achiram, the family of the Achiramites;
39 kang Sefufam, ang banay sa mga Sefufamhanon, kang Hufam, ang banay sa mga Hufamhanon.
Of Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Chupham, the family of the Chuphamites.

And the sons of Bela' were Ard and Na'aman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites; and of Na'aman, the family of the Na'amites.

These are the sons of Benjamin after their families; and those that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six hundred.
42 Ang kabanayan sa mga kaliwat ni Dan mao ang, kang Suham, ang mga banay sa mga Suhamhanon. Mao kini ang kabanayan sa mga kaliwat ni Dan.
These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shucham, the family of the Shuchamites; these are the families of Dan after their families.
43 Ang tanang kabanayan sa mga Susamhanon mikabat ug 64, 400 ka mga kalalakin-an.
All the families of the Shuchamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were sixty and four thousand and four hundred.
44 Mao kini ang kabanayan sa mga kaliwat ni Aser: Kang Imna, ang banay sa mga Imnahanon, kang Isvi, ang banay sa mga Isvihanon, kang Beria, ang banay sa mga Beriahanon.
The children of Asher after their families: of Yimnah, the family of the Yimnites; of Yishvi, the family of the Yishvites; of Beri'ah, the family of the Beri'ites.
45 Mao kini ang mga kaliwat ni Beria: Kang Heber, ang banay sa mga Heberhanon, kang Malkiel, ang banay sa mga Malkielhanon.
Of the sons of Beri'ah: of Cheber, the family of the Chebrites; of Malkiel, the family of the Makielites.
46 Ang ngalan sa anak nga babaye ni Aser mao si Sera.
And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serach.

These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them, fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
48 Mao kini ang kabanayan sa mga kaliwat ni Naftali: Kang Jazel, ang banay sa mga Jazelanhon, kang Guni, ang banay sa mga Gunihanon,
The sons of Naphtali after their families: of Yachzeel, the family of the Yachzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;
49 kang Jeser, ang banay sa mga Jeseranhon, kang Silem, ang banay sa mga Silemanhon.
Of Yezer, the family of the Yizrites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
50 Mao kini ang kabanayan sa mga kaliwat ni Naftali, nga mikabat ug 45, 400 ka mga kalalakin-an.
These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.
51 Mao kini ang kumpleto nga ihap sa mga kalalakin-an taliwala sa katawhan sa Israel: 601, 730.
These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand, and one thousand, seven hundred and thirty.
52 Nakigsulti si Yahweh kang Moises ug miingon,
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
53 “Kinahanglang bahinon ang yuta alang niining mga kalalakin-an isip ilang panulondon sumala sa gidaghanon sa ilang mga ngalan.
Unto these shall the land be divided for an inheritance according to the number of the names.
54 Sa mas daghan nga kabanayan kinahanglan nga ihatag mo ang mas dagko nga panulondon, ug sa gagmay nga kabanayan kinahanglan nga ihatag mo ang diyutay nga panulondon. Kinahanglan nimong ihatag ang panulondon sumala sa gidaghanon sa naihap nga kalalakin-an sa matag pamilya.
To the large tribe shalt thou give the more inheritance, and to the small shalt thou give the less inheritance: to each according to those that were numbered thereof shall its inheritance be given.
55 Apan, kinahanglan ipaagi sa ripa ang pagbahin sa yuta. Kinahanglan nga mapanunod nila ang yuta ingon nga bahinon kini sa mga tribo sa ilang mga katigulangan.
Nevertheless, through the lot shall the land be divided: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers shall they obtain their inheritance.
56 Kinahanglan nga bahinon ang panulondon diha sa daghan ug gagmay nga mga kabanayan, iapod-apod kini kanila pinaagi sa ripa.”
By the decision of the lot shall the inheritance of each be divided, according as they are many or few.
57 Mao kini ang kabanayan ni Levi, nga giihap sumala sa tagsa-tagsa ka banay: Kang Gerson, ang banay sa mga Gersonhanon, kang Kohat, ang banay sa mga Kohatihanon, kang Merari, ang banay sa mga Merarihanon.
And these are those that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershunites: of Kehath, the family of the Kehathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58 Mao kini ang kabanayan ni Levi: Ang banay sa mga Libnihanon, ang banay sa mga Hebronhanon, ang banay sa mga Malihanon, ang banay sa mga Musihanon, ug ang banay sa mga Korahanon. Si Kohat mao ang katigulangan ni Amram.
These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Chebronites, the family of the Machlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korchites; and Kehath begat 'Amran.
59 Ang asawa ni Amram mao si Jocabed, usa ka kaliwat ni Levi, nga natawo didto sa Ehipto. Gipakatawo niya ang ilang mga anak ni Amram, nga mao sila Aaron, Moises, ug si Miriam ang ilang igsoon nga babaye.
And the name of 'Amram's wife was Yochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom [her mother] bore to Levi in Egypt; and she bore unto Amram, Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60 Pinaagi kang Aaron natawo si Nadab ug Abihu, Eleazar ug Itamar.
And there were born unto Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, Elazar, and Ithamar.
61 Namatay si Nadab ug Abihu sa dihang naghalad sila ug dili madawat nga sinunog ngadto kang Yahweh.
And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered a strange fire before the Lord.
62 Nikabat ug 23, 000 ka mga kalalakin-an ang naihap diha kanila, tanang kalalakin-an nga nagpangidaron ug usa ka bulan pataas. Apan wala sila giihap uban sa nga mga kaliwat ni Israel tungod kay wala may panulondon nga gihatag kanila uban sa katawhan sa Israel.
And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all the males from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was not given unto them any inheritance among the children of Israel.
63 Mao kini ang mga naihap ni Moises ug ni Eleazar nga pari. Giihap nila ang katawhan sa Israel didto sa kapatagan sa Moab dapit sa Jordan didto sa Jericho.
These are those that were numbered by Moses and Elazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, opposite Jericho.
64 Apan walay usa kanila nga giihap ni Moises ug Aaron nga pari ang naapil sa dihang giihap ang mga kaliwat ni Israel didto sa kamingawan sa Sinai.
And among these there was not one man of those whom Moses and Aaron the priest had numbered, who numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
65 Kay miingon nang daan si Yahweh nga kining mga tawhana mangamatay gayod sa kamingawan. Wala gayoy tawo nga nabilin diha kanila, gawas lamang kang Caleb ang anak nga lalaki ni Jepune ug si Josue ang anak nga lalaki ni Nun.
For the Lord had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness: and there was not left of them one man, save Caleb the son of Yephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
