Isaias 54

1 “Pag-awit, ikaw babaye nga dili makaanak, ikaw nga wala pa gayod makaanak; pag-awit nga malipayon, ug pagtiyabaw, ikaw nga wala gayod makasinati nga magbati. Kay mas daghan pa ang mga anak sa biniyaan nga asawa kay sa mga anak sa babayeng minyo,” miingon si Yahweh.

Sing, O thou barren, that didst not hear! Break forth into singing, and shout for joy, thou that wast not in travail! For more are the children of the desolate Than of the married woman, saith Jehovah.

2 “Padakoa ang imong tolda ug padakoa sa pagbukhad ang mga tabil sa imong tolda, ayaw pagdaginot; pataasa ang imong mga pisi ug palig-ona ang imong mga ugsok.

Enlarge the place of thy tent, And let the canopy of thy habitation be extended! Spare not; lengthen thy cords, And make fast thy stakes!

3 Kay magkatag ka sa nagkalainlaing dapit, ug buntogon sa imong mga kaliwat ang mga kanasoran ug mopuyo pag-usab sa biniyaan nga mga siyudad.

For on the right hand and on the left shalt thou burst forth with increase; And thy posterity shall inherit the nations, And people the desolate cities.

4 Ayaw kahadlok kay dili ka man maulawan, ni maluya kay dili ka na man pagatamayon; imong mahikalimtan ang kaulawan sa imong pagkabatan-on ug sa imong pagkabiniyaan.

Fear not, for thou shalt not be confounded; Blush not, for thou shalt not be put to shame. For thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, And the reproach of thy widowhood thou shalt remember no more.

5 Kay ang imong Magbubuhat mao ang imong bana; si Yahweh nga labing gamhanan mao ang iyang ngalan. Ang Balaan sa Israel mao ang imong Manluluwas; gitawag siya nga Dios sa tibuok kalibotan.

For thy husband is thy Maker; Jehovah of hosts is his name. Thy redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

6 Kay gitawag ka pagbalik ni Yahweh ingon nga asawa nga biniyaan ug nagsubo diha sa espiritu, sama sa babaye nga nagminyo nga batan-on pa ug gisalikway,” miingon ang imong Dios.

For as a woman forsaken, and deeply afflicted, hath Jehovah recalled thee, And as a wife wedded in youth, that hath been rejected, saith thy God.

7 “Kay sa hamubo lamang nga higayon gisalikway ko ikaw, apan pinaagi sa dakong kaluoy tigomon ko ikaw.

For a little moment I have forsaken thee, But with great mercy will I gather thee.

8 Sa nagbaha nga kapungot gitago ko sa makadiyot ang akong panagway gikan kanimo; apan uban sa walay kataposan nga matinud-anon nga kasabotan kaluy-an ko ikaw— miingon si Yahweh, nga maoy nagluwas kanimo.

In overflowing wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment. But with everlasting kindness will I have mercy upon thee, Saith thy redeemer, Jehovah.

9 Kay alang kanako sama kini sa lunop sa panahon ni Noa: ingon nga nanumpa ako nga ang lunop sa panahon ni Noa dili na gayod mahitabo sa kalibotan, busa manumpa ako nga dili na ako masuko kanimo o mobadlong kanimo.

As in the time of the waters of Noah, so shall it be now; As I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, So do I swear that I will not be angry with thee, nor rebuke thee.

10 Bisan pa ug matumpag ang mga kabukiran ug matay-og ang kabungtoran, apan ang akong gugma nga walay paglubad dili gayod mobiya kanimo, ni mahanaw ang akong kasabotan sa kalinaw— miingon si Yahweh, nga naluoy kanimo.

For the mountains shall depart, And the hills be overthrown, But my kindness shall not depart from thee, Nor shall my covenant of peace be overthrown, Saith Jehovah, that hath pity on thee.

11 Mga sinakit, gikusokuso sa unos ug walay kalipay, tan-awa, ipahiluna ko ang imong sukaranan gamit ang mga batong torquoise, ug ibutang ko ang mga batong safiro sa imong patukoranan.

O thou afflicted, beaten with the storm, destitute of consolation! Behold, I lay thy stones in cement of vermilion, And thy foundations with sapphires.

12 Dayandayanan ko sa mga batong rubi ang imong tore ug ang imong mga ganghaan sa naggilakgilak nga mga bato, ug ang imong kuta sa matahom nga mga bato.

And I will make thy battlements of rubies, And thy gates of carbuncles, And all thy borders fill of precious stones.

13 Unya tudloan ni Yahweh ang imong mga kaanakan; ug magmalinawon ang imong mga anak.

All thy children shall be taught by Jehovah, And great shall be the prosperity of thy children.

14 Pagatukoron ko ikaw sa pagkamatarong. Dili mo na masinatian ang paglutos, kay dili ka naman mahadlok, ug walay kalisang nga modangat duol kanimo.

By righteousness shalt thou be established; Be thou far from anxiety, for thou shalt have nothing to fear, And from terror, for it shall not come near thee.

15 Tan-awa, kung adunay nagpasiugda sa kasamok, dili kini gikan kanako; si bisan kinsa nga magpasiugda sa kasamok nganha kanimo mabuntog gayod.

If any be leagued against thee, it is not by my command; Whoever shall be leagued against thee shall come over to thee.

16 Tan-awa, gibuhat ko ang hanas nga mga trabahante, nga maoy naghuyop sa nagbagang oling ug mohulma sa mga hinagiban ingon nga iyang buluhaton, ug gibuhat ko ang tigguba aron mangguba.

Behold, I create the smith, Who bloweth up the coals into a fire, And produceth an instrument for his work; I also create the destroyer to lay waste.

17 Walay hinulma nga hinagiban ang magmalamposon batok kanimo; ug hukman mo ang tanan nga nagpasangil kanimo. Mao kini ang panulondon sa mga alagad ni Yahweh, ug ang akong pagtubos kanila—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh.”

Whatever weapon is formed against thee, it shall not prosper; And against every tongue that contendeth with thee, thou shalt obtain thy cause. This is the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah, And the blessing which they receive from me, saith Jehovah.
