Hebreohanon 7
1 Mao kini si Melchizedek, ang hari sa Salem, ang pari sa Labing Halangdon nga Dios, nga misugat kang Abraham nga mibalik gikan sa pagpamatay sa mga hari ug nagpanalangin kaniya.
This Melchisedech kynge of Salem (which beinge prest of ye most hye god met Abraham as he returned agayne from the slaughter of the kynges and blessed him:
2 Mihatag si Abraham kaniya sa ikapulo sa tanan niyang nadakpan. Ang iyang ngalan nga “Melchizedek” nagpasabot nga “Hari sa Pagkamatarong,” ug usab ang “Hari sa Salem,” mao ang “Ang Hari sa Kalinaw.”
to whom also Abraham gave tythes of all thynges) fyrst is by interpretacion kynge of rightewesnes: after yt he is kynge of Sale yt is to saye kynge of peace
3 Siya walay amahan, walay inahan, ug walay mga kaliwat, walay sinugdanan sa mga adlaw ni kataposan sa kinabuhi. Hinuon, nagpabilin siya nga usa ka pari hangtod sa kahangtoran, sama sa Anak sa Dios.
with out father wt out mother with out kynne and hath nether begynnynge of his tyme nether yet ende of his lyfe: but is lykened vnto the sonne of god and cotinueth a preste for ever.
4 Karon hunahunaa kung unsa ka bantogan kining tawhana. Ang atong katigulangan nga si Abraham naghatag kaniya sa ikapulo sa labing maayong mga butang nga iyang nakuha gikan sa gubat.
Consyder what a man this was vnto who the patriarke Abraham gave tythes of the spoyles.
5 Ug sa pagkatinuod, ang mga kaliwat ni Levi nga nakadawat sa parianong dapit adunay sugo gikan sa balaod sa pagkuha sa ikapulo gikan sa mga tawo, mao kana, gikan sa ilang kaubanan nga mga Israelita, bisan tuod sila kaliwatan nga nagagikan kang Abraham.
And verely those children of levy which receave the office of the prestes have a commaundement to take a cordyng to the lawe tythes of the people that is to saye of their brethren yee though they spronge out of the loynes of Abraham.
6 Apan si Melchizedek, nga dili kaliwat gikan kang Levi, nagdawat sa ikapulo gikan kang Abraham, ug nagpanalangin kaniya, ang usa nga adunay mga saad.
But he whose kynred is not counted amonge them receaved tythes of Abraham and blessed him that had the promyses.
7 Dili ikalimod nga ang labing ubos nga tawo gipanalanginan pinaagi sa labing labaw nga tawo.
And no man denyeth but that which is lesse receaveth blessinge of yt which is greater.
8 Sa niini nga kahimtang ang mga tawo nga midawat sa ikapulo mamatay sa umaabot nga adlaw, apan sa laing bahin ang usa nga nagdawat sa ikapulo ni Abraham gihulagway ingon nga buhi sa dayon.
And here men that dye receave tythes. But there he receaveth tythes of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
9 Ug, sa pamaagi sa pagsulti, si Levi, nga midawat sa ikapulo, nagbayad usab sa ikapulo pinaagi kang Abraham,
And to saye the trueth Levy him silfe also which receaveth tythes payed tythes in Abraham.
10 tungod kay si Levi didto pa man sa tago nga bahin sa iyang kaliwat nga si Abraham sa pagsugat ni Melchizedek kang Abraham.
For he was yet in the loynes of his father Abraham when Melchisech met him.
11 Karon kung ang pagkahingpit mahimo pinaagi sa parianong laray sa mga Levita (kay ubos niini ang mga tawo nga nakadawat sa balaod), unsa pa may dugang pagkinahanglan nga maanaa sa laing pari nga pabarogon sumala sa laray ni Melchizedek, ug dili sa ngalan sumala sa laray ni Aaron?
Yf now therfore perfeccion came by the presthod of the levites (for vnder that presthod the people recaved the lawe) what neded it furthermore that an other prest shuld ryse after the order of Melchisedech and not after the order of Aaron?
12 Kay sa dihang nailisan ang pagkapari, kinahanglan nga mailisan usab ang balaod.
Now no dout yf the presthod be translated then of necessitie must the lawe be translated also.
13 Kay ang gisultihan niining mga butanga nahisakop ngadto sa lain nga tribo, diin wala pay tawo nga nag-alagad sa halaran.
For he of whom these thynges are spoken pertayneth vnto another trybe of which never man served at the aultre.
14 Dayag kini karon nga ang atong Ginoo naggikan kang Juda, ang usa ka tribo nga wala gayod hisgoti ni Moises mahitungod sa mga pari.
For it is evidet that oure lorde spronge of the trybe of Iuda of which trybe spake Moses nothynge concernynge presthod.
15 Ug kung unsa ang atong gisulti labing tin-aw pa kung ang laing pari mobarog susama kang Melchizedek.
And it is yet a more evydent thinge yf after the similitude of Melchisedech ther aryse a nother prest
16 Kining bag-o nga pari dili mahimong usa ka pari sumala sa balaod nga kabahin sa tawhanon nga kaliwat, kondili sumala sa gahom sa dili malaglag nga kinabuhi.
which is not made after the lawe of the carnall commaundmet: but after the power of the endlesse lyfe
17 Kay ang kasulatan nagpamatuod mahitungod kaniya: “Ikaw ang pari sa walay kataposan sumala sa laray ni Melchizedek.” (aiōn g165)
(For he testifieth: Thou arte a prest forever after the order of Melchysedech) (aiōn g165)
18 Kay gilain na ang daan nga kasugoan tungod kay huyang kini ug walay pulos.
Then the commaundmet that went a fore is disanulled because of hir weaknes and vnproffitablenes.
19 Kay walay gihingpit sa balaod. Apan, adunay labing maayo nga pagsalig alang sa umaabot pinaagi niini makaduol kita ngadto sa Dios.
For the lawe made nothynge parfecte: but was an introduccion of a better hope by which hope we drawe nye vnto god.
20 Ug kining labing maayong pagsalig dili mahitabo kung walay pagpanumpa, kay kining ubang mga pari walay pagpanumpa.
And for this cause it is a better hope that it was not promysed with out an othe.
21 Apan ang Dios nanumpa sa dihang miingon siya mahitungod kang Jesus, “Ang Ginoo nanumpa ug dili gayod mausab ang iyang hunahuna: 'Ikaw ang pari sa walay kataposan.”' (aiōn g165)
Those prestes were made wt out an oth: but this prest with an oth by him that saide vnto him The lorde sware and will not repent: Thou arte a prest for ever after the order of Melchisedech. (aiōn g165)
22 Pinaagi usab niini si Jesus nahimong pasalig sa labing maayong kasabotan.
And for that cause was Iesus a stablyssher of a better testament.
23 Sa pagkatinuod, ang kamatayon magpugong sa mga pari sa pag-alagad hangtod sa kahangtoran. Mao kini ang hinungdan nga daghang mga pari, usa pagkahuman sa uban.
And amonge them many were made prestes because they were not suffred to endure by the reason of deeth.
24 Apan tungod kay buhi si Jesus hangtod sa kahangtoran, ang iyang pagkapari walay pagkausab. (aiōn g165)
But this man because he endureth ever hath an everlastinge presthod. (aiōn g165)
25 Busa siya usab makaluwas gayod niadtong moduol sa Dios pinaagi kaniya, tungod kay buhi siya sa gihapon aron sa pagpataliwala alang kanila.
Wherfore he is able also ever to save them that come vnto god by him seynge he ever lyveth to make intercession for vs.
26 Kay angay alang kanato ang maong labaw nga pari. Wala siyay sala, walay ikasaway, putli, linain gikan sa mga makasasala, ug gihimong labing hataas kaysa sa kalangitan.
Soche an hye prest it became vs to have which is wholy harmlesse vndefyled separat from synners and made hyar then heven.
27 Wala siya magkinahanglan, dili sama sa uban nga labawng mga pari, sa paghalad adlaw-adlaw sa mga halad, una alang sa iyang kaugalingong mga sala, ug unya alang sa sala sa mga tawo. Gibuhat niya kini sa makausa ra alang sa tanan, sa dihang gihalad niya ang iyang kaugalingon.
Which nedeth not dayly (as yonder hie prestes) to offer vp sacrifice fyrst for his awne synnes and then for the peoples synnes. For that did he at once for all when he offered vp him silfe.
28 Kay ang balaod nagpili sa mga tawo nga may kaluyahon ingon nga mga labaw nga pari, apan ang pulong sa panumpa, nga miabot human sa balaod, nagpili ug usa ka Anak, nga gihingpit sa walay kataposan (aiōn g165)
For the lawe maketh men prestes which have infirmitie: but the worde of the othe that came fence ye lawe maketh the sonne prest which is parfecte for ever more. (aiōn g165)
