Mga Buhat 15
1 Pipila ka mga lalaki milugsong gikan sa Judea ug nagtudlo sa mga kaigsoonan, sa pagingon, “Gawas kung kamo magpatuli sumala sa nabatasan ni Moises, kamo dili gayod maluwas.”
Then cam certayne from Iewrie and taught the brethren: excepte ye be circumcysed after the maner of Moses ye cannot be saved.
2 Sa dihang si Pablo ug si Barnabas adunay dili pag-uyon ug paglantugi uban kanila, ang mga kaigsoonan nakahukom nga si Pablo, Barnabas, ug ang pipila sa uban kinahanglan motungas sa Jerusalem ngadto sa mga apostoles ug sa mga kadagkoan mahitungod niini nga pangutana.
And when ther was rysen dissencion and disputinge not a litle vnto Paul and Barnabas agaynst them. They determined that Paul and Barnabas and certayne other of them shuld ascende to Ierusalem vnto the Apostles and elders aboute this question.
3 Busa sila, nga pinadala sa simbahan, susamang milabay sa Phoenicia ug sa Samaria ug gipahibalo ang pagkakabig sa mga Gentil; ilang gidala ang hingpit nga kalipay ngadto sa mga kaigsoonan.
And after they were brought on their waye by the congregacion they passed over Phenices and Samaria declarynge the conuersion of the getyls and they brought great ioye vnto all ye brethren.
4 Sa dihang miabot na sila sa Jerusalem, giabiabi sila sa mga simbahan ug sa mga apostoles ug sa mga kadagkoan, ug ilang gipahibalo ang tanang mga butang nga gibuhat sa Dios uban kanila.
And when they were come to Ierusalem they were receaved of the congregacion and of the Apostles and elders. And they declared what thinges God had done by them.
5 Apan pipila sa mga lalaki nga nagtuo, nga nahisakop sa pundok sa mga Pariseo, mitindog ug miingon, “Kinahanglan nga magpatuli sila ug sa pagsugo kanila sa pagbantay sa balaod ni Moises.”
Then arose ther vp certayne that were of the secte of the Pharises and dyd beleve sayinge that it was nedfull to circucise them and to enioyne the to kepe ye lawe of Moses.
6 Busa ang mga apostoles ug ang mga kadagkoan nagtigom aron sa paghunahuna niining butanga.
And ye Apostles and elders came to geder to reason of this matter.
7 Pagkahuman sa daghan nga panaglantugi, si Pedro mitindog ug miingon ngadto kanila, “Mga kaigsoonan, kamo nasayod nga sa milabay nga panahon ang Dios nagbuhat ug pagpili taliwala kaninyo, nga pinaagi sa akong baba ang mga Gentil kinahanglang makadungog sa pulong sa ebanghelyo, ug motuo.
And when ther was moche disputinge Peter rose vp and sayde vnto them: Ye men and brethren ye knowe how that a good whyle agoo God chose amoge vs that the getyls by my mouth shuld heare the worde of the gospell and beleve.
8 Ang Dios, nga maoy nakabalo sa kasingkasing, nagsaksi kanila, naghatag kanila sa Balaang Espiritu, sama sa iyang gibuhat kanato;
And God which knoweth the herte bare them witnes and gave vnto them the holy goost eve as he dyd vnto vs
9 ug iyang gihimo kini nga walay kalainan taliwala kanato ug kanila, sa pagbuhat sa ilang mga kasingkasing nga hinlo pinaagi sa pagtuo.
and he put no difference bitwene them and vs but with fayth purified their hertes.
10 Unya karon nganong inyong gisulayan ang Dios, nga kinahanglan inyong ibutang ang yugo sa liog sa mga disipulo nga bisan ang atong mga amahan ni bisan kita dili makahimo pagdala?
Now therfore why tempte ye God that ye wolde put a yoke on the disciples neckes which nether oure fathers nor we were able to beare.
11 Apan kita nagtuo nga kita naluwas pinaagi sa grasya ni Ginoong Jesus, sama kanila.”
But we beleve that thorowe the grace of the Lorde Iesu Christ we shalbe saved as they doo.
12 Ang tanan nga katawhan nagpabilin sa paghilom samtang sila naminaw kang Barnabas ug Pablo nga nagsaysay sa mga timailhan ug mga kahibulongan nga gibuhat sa Dios taliwala sa mga Gentil pinaagi kanila.
Then all the multitude was peased and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul which tolde what signes and wondres God had shewed amonge the gentyls by them.
13 Pagkahuman nila ug hunong sa pagsulti, si Santiago mitubag, nga nag-ingon, “Mga igsoon, paminaw kamo kanako.
And when they helde their peace Iames answered sayinge: Men and brethren herken vnto me.
14 Si Simon nag-ingon unsa ka maluluy-on ang Dios pagtabang sa mga Gentil aron sa pagkuha gikan kanila nga usa ka katawhan alang sa iyang ngalan.
Simeon tolde how God at the begynnynge dyd visit the gentyls and receaved of them people vnto his name.
15 Ang mga pulong sa mga propeta nag-uyon niini, ingon nga kini nahisulat.
And to this agreith ye wordes of ye Prophetes as it is written.
16 Pagkahuman niining mga butanga ako mobalik. Ug akong tukuron pag-usab ang barongbarong ni David, nga nahulog; ako kining ipatindog ug ipasig-uli pag-usab.
After this I will returne and wyll bylde agayne the tabernacle of David which is fallen doune and that which is fallen in dekey of it will I bilde agayne and I will set it vp
17 Kay aron ang nahibilin sa mga tawo mangita sa Ginoo, lakip ang tanang mga Gentil nga gitawag pinaagi sa akong ngalan.
that the residue of men might seke after the Lorde and also the gentyls vpo whom my name is named saith ye Lorde which doth all these thinges:
18 Mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoo, nga maoy naghimo nining karaang mga butang nga mailhan. (aiōn g165)
knowne vnto God are all his workes from the begynninge of the worlde. (aiōn g165)
19 Busa, ang akong hunahuna mao, nga kinahanglan dili na nato samukon kadtong mga Gentil nga midawat sa Dios;
Wherfore my sentece is yt we trouble not them which fro amonge the gentyls are turned to God:
20 apan kita magsulat ngadto kanila nga kinahanglan magdumili sila gikan sa mahugaw nga mga diosdios, gikan sa malaw-ay nga pakighilawas, ug gikan sa unsang linuok, ug gikan sa dugo.
but yt we write vnto them yt they abstayne them selves fro filthynes of ymages fro fornicacio from straglyd and fro bloude.
21 Alang kang Moises gikan sa karaang mga kaliwatan adunay mga tawo sa matag siyudad nga nagasangyaw ug nagabasa kaniya ngadto sa sinagoga matag Adlaw nga Igpapahulay.”
For Moses of olde tyme hath in every cite that preache him and he is rede in the synagoges every saboth daye.
22 Unya kini daw maayo ngadto sa mga apostoles ug sa mga kadagkoan, uban ang tibuok simbahan, sa pagpili kang Judas Barsabbas ug Silas, mga pangulo sa simbahan, ug ipadala sila sa Antioquia uban kang Pablo ug Barnabas.
Then pleased it the Apostles and elders wt the whole congregacio to sende chosyn men of their owne copany to Antioche with Paul and Barnabas. They sent Iudas called also Barsabas and Silas which were chefe men amonge the brethre
23 Sila misulat niini, “Ang mga apostoles, mga kadagkoan ug mga kaigsoonan, ngadto sa mga Gentil nga mga kaigsoonan sa Antioch, Syria ug Cilicia, mga pagtimbaya.
and gave them lettres in their hondes after this maner. The Apostles elders and brethren send gretynges vnto the brethre which are of the gentyls in Antioche Siria and Celicia.
24 Kami nakadungog nga ang pipila ka mga lalaki nga wala namo gihatagan ug igong sugo, migawas gikan kanamo ug nagsamok kaninyo uban sa mga pagtudlo nga nakahimo pagsamok sa inyong mga kalag.
For as moche as we have hearde yt certayne which departed fro vs have troubled you with wordes and combred youre myndes sayinge: Ye must be circumcised and kepe the lawe to whom we gave no soche comaundemet.
25 Busa daw kini maayo kanatong tanan sa pag-uyon sa pagpili sa mga lalaki ug ipadala sila kaninyo uban ang among hinigugmang Barnabas ug Pablo,
It semed therfore to vs a good thinge when we were come to gedder with one accorde to sende chosyn men vnto you with oure beloved Barnabas and Paul
26 mga tawo nga anaa sa kuyaw ang ilang kinabuhi alang sa pangalan sa atong Ginoong Jesu-Cristo.
men that have ieoperded their lyves for the name of oure Lorde Iesus Christ.
27 Busa among ipadala si Judas ug Silas, nga maoy magsulti usab kaninyo sa susamang mga butang.
We have sent therfore Iudas and Sylas which shall also tell you the same thinges by mouth.
28 Kay kini daw mas maayo ngadto sa Balaang Espiritu ug kanato, sa pagbutang diha kaninyo nga walay dakong palas-anon kay sa niining mga mahinungdanong mga butang:
For it semed good to the holy gost and to vs to put no grevous thinge to you more then these necessary thinges:
29 nga kamo mobiya gikan sa mga butang nga gihalad sa mga diosdios, dugo, sa mga butang nga linuok, ug gikan sa malaw-ay nga pakighilawas. Kung magbantay kamo sa inyong kaugalingon gikan niini, kini makaayo gayod kaninyo. Panamilit.”
that is to saye that ye abstayne from thinges offered to ymages from bloud from strangled and fornicacion. From which yf ye kepe youre selves ye shall do well. So fare ye well.
30 Busa sila, sa dihang sila nagbulagbulag na, miabot didto sa Antioch; pagkahuman ilang gitapok ang pundok sa katawhan, ug ilang gipadala ang sulat.
When they were departed they came to Antioche and gaddred the multitude togeder and delyvered ye pistle.
31 Sa dihang ila kining nabasa, labihan ang ilang kalipay tungod sa mga pagdasig.
When they had redde it they reioysed of that consolacion.
32 Si Judas ug si Silas, ug ang mga propeta usab, nagdasig sa mga kaigsoonan uban sa daghang mga pulong ug naglig-on kanila.
And Iudas and Sylas beinge prophetes exhorted the brethren with moche preachynge and strengthed them.
33 Pagkahuman nila ug gahin sa pipila ka higayon didto, sila gipadala diha sa kalinaw gikan sa mga kaigsoonan alang adtong nagpadala kanila.
And after they had taryed there a space they were let goo in peace of the brethren vnto the Apostles.
34 Ang labing maayong karaang kopya giwala sa bersikulo 34 ( tan-awa sa Buhat 15: 40). Bersikulo 34, Apan kini daw maayo nga si Silas magpabilin didto.
Not with stondynge it pleasyd Sylas to abyde there still.
35 Apan si Pablo ug Barnabas nagpabilin sa Antioch uban ang kadaghanan, diin sila nagtudlo ug nagwali sa pulong sa Ginoo.
Paul and Barnabas continued in Antioche teachynge and preachynge the worde of the Lorde with other many.
36 Pagkahuman sa pipila ka mga adlaw si Pablo miingon ngadto kang Barnabas, “Mamalik na kita karon ug duawon ang mga kaigsoonan sa kada siyudad diin kita nagmantala sa pulong sa Ginoo, ug pagtan-aw kung naunsa sila.
But after a certayne space Paul sayde vnto Barnabas: Let vs goo agayne and visite oure brethren in every cite where we have shewed the worde of the Lorde and se how they do.
37 Si Barnabas buot usab nga ubanon si Juan nga gitawag ug Marcos uban kanila.
And Barnabas gave counsell to take wt them Iohn called also Marke.
38 Apan si Pablo naghunahuna nga dili maayo ubanon si Marcos, nga maoy mibiya kanila gikan sa Pamphylia ug dugang pa wala na mikuyog kanila sa pagpamuhat.
But Paul thought it not mete to take him vnto their company whiche departed from them at Pamphylia and went not with them to the worke.
39 Unya didto miulbo ang hait nga panagsumpaki, busa sila nagbulag gikan sa matag-usa, ug si Barnabas gidala si Marcos uban kaniya ug milawig palayo sa Cyprus.
And the dissencion was so sharpe bitwene them that they departed a sunder one from the other: so that Barnabas toke Marke and sayled vnto Cypers.
40 Apan si Pablo gipili si Silas ug mibiya, pagkahuman siya gitugyan pinaagi sa mga kaigsoonan sa grasya sa Ginoo.
And Paul chose Sylas and departed delyvered of ye brethren vnto the grace of god.
41 Ug siya miadto padulong sa Syria ug Cilicia, naglig-on sa mga kasimbahanan.
And he went thorowe all Cyria and Cilicia stablisshynge the congregacions.
