Псалми 55
1 За първия певец, на струнни инструменти. Давидово поучение. Послушай, Боже, молитвата ми. И не се крий от молбата ми.
For the end, among Hymns of instruction by David. Hearken, O God, to my prayer; and disregard not my supplication.
2 Внимавай в мене и отговори ми. Безпокоя се в тъженето си, и стена;
Attend to me, and hearken to me: I was grieved in my (meditation) and troubled;
3 Поради гласа на неприятеля, Поради присъствието на нечестивия; Защото приписват на мене беззаконие, И с гняв ми враждуват,
because of the voice of the enemy, and because of the oppression of the sinner: for they brought iniquity against me, and were wrathfully angry with me.
4 Сърцето ми тъжи дълбоко в мене, И смъртен ужас ме нападна;
My heart was troubled within me; and the fear of death fell upon me.
5 Страх и трепет дойдоха върху мене, И ужас ме потопи.
Fear and trembling came upon me, and darkness covered me.
6 И рекох: Дано да имах крила като гълъба! Щях да отлетя и да си почина.
And I said, O that I had wings as [those] of a dove! then would I flee away, and be at rest.
7 Ето, щях да бягам надалеч, Щях да живея в пустинята; (Села)
Lo! I have fled afar off, and lodged in the wilderness. (Pause)
8 Щях да ускоря бягането си От вихъра и от бурята.
I waited for him that should deliver me from distress of spirit and tempest.
9 Опропасти ги, Господи, и раздели съвета им; Защото видях насилие и разпра в града.
Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen iniquity and gain saying in the city.
10 Денем и нощем го обикалят по стените му, И беззаконие и зло има всред него;
Day and night he shall go round about it upon its walls: iniquity and sorrow and unrighteousness [are] in the midst of it;
11 Нечестие има всред него; Угнетение и измама не се отдалечават от улиците му.
and usury and craft have not failed from its streets.
12 Понеже не беше неприятел, който ме укори, - Това бих претърпял, - Нито беше оня, що ме мразеше, който се подигна против мене, - Тогава бих се скрил от него;
For if an enemy had reproached me, I would have endured it; and if one who hated [me] had spoken vauntingly against me, I would have hid myself from him.
13 Но ти, човек равен на мене, Другар мой, и мой близък приятел.
But thou, O man like minded, my guide, and my acquaintance,
14 Заедно се разговаряхме сладко, С множеството ходехме в Божия дом.
who in companionship with me sweetened [our] food: we walked in the house of God in concord.
15 Нека дойде ненадейно смърт на тях. Нека слязат живи в преизподнята; Защото в жилищата им, и в сърцата им има злодейство. (Sheol h7585)
Let death come upon them, and let them go down alive into Hades, for iniquity is in their dwellings, in the midst of them. (Sheol h7585)
16 Но аз към Бога ще извикам; И Господ ще ме избави.
I cried to God, and the Lord hearkened to me.
17 Вечер и заран и на пладне ще се оплаквам и ще стена; И Той ще чуе гласа ми.
Evening, and morning, and at noon I will declare and make known [my wants]: and he shall hear my voice.
18 Ще избави душата ми и ще я успокои от боя, който е против мене; защото мнозина са с мене.
He shall deliver my soul in peace from them that draw nigh to me: for they were with me in many [cases].
19 Бог, Който се е възцарил преди вековете, Ще чуе и ще ги съкруши, (Села) Ще съкруши човеците, които неизменно Не се боят от Бога.
God shall hear, and bring them low, [even] he that has existed from eternity. (Pause) For they suffer no reverse, and [therefore] they have not feared God.
20 Всеки един от тях простира ръце против ония, които са в мир с него; Нарушава съюза си.
He has reached forth his hand for retribution; they have profaned his covenant.
21 Устата му са по-мазни от масло, Но в сърцето му има война; Думите му са по-меки от дървено масло, Но пак са голи саби.
They were scattered at the anger of his countenance, and his heart drew nigh them. His words were smoother than oil, yet are they darts.
22 Възложи на Господа това, което ти е изложил и Той ще те подпре; Никога не ще допусне да се поклати праведният.
Cast thy care upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee; he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
23 Но ти, Боже ще ги сведеш в гибелния ров; Мъже кръвопийци и измамници няма да стигнат и до половината на дните си; Но аз ще уповавам на Тебе.
But thou, O God, shalt bring them down to the pit of destruction; bloody and crafty men shall not live out half their days; but I will hope in thee, O Lord.
