1 Eshe shuno daatsosh gewoore, S'ayin shayiri imuwotsitse dab bitsnor bek'on keewo kup'arr gewoore.
Follow after love, and earnestly desire spiritual things, and especially that you may prophesy.
2 Andr noonon noon keewitwo Ik'osha bako ashoshaliye b́keewiri, ááshk wotts keewo S'ayin shayiri angon b́ keewirwosh b́ keewirman danetuwo aaliye.
For the one who speaks in another language speaks not to people, but to God; for no one understands; but in the Spirit he speaks mysteries.
3 Bek'on keewitwonmó k'osho agosh, kup'iyonat atskup'iyosha ashuwotssh keewituwe.
But he who prophesies speaks to people for their encouragement, strengthening, and comfort.
4 Andr noon keewon keewit asho b́ took mec'roniye bíagiriye, bek'on keewirwonmó Ik' moo agetwe.
He who speaks in another language edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
5 No jamets andr noon keewon it keewo shunfee b́ teshi, bogshde'er t shunetuwonmó bek'on it keewink'ere, Ik' maa ashuwotsi agosh andr noon keewon keewetso biitsetuwo bí alitka wotiyal, andr noon keewiru ashoniyere bek'on keewiru asho bogfe.
Now I desire to have you all speak with other languages, but rather that you would prophesy, and he is greater who prophesies than he who speaks with other languages, unless he interprets, that the church may be built up.
6 Eshe t eshuwotso! itok twoor andr noonon keewon keewufere t weyi wotink'ere eebi itsh t k'aliyank'oni? Bogo itsh t k'alitiye Ik'oke ááshtso kitson wee danon wee bek'on keewon wee dano itsh deshde'er twaale.
But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking with other languages, what would I profit you, unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching?
7 Turarok'onat T'imbok'o kash deshaw duubi k'ac'uwots k'osh jááwi k'ááro bo t'ut'al bo imiru duubi k'ááro awuk'o b́ wotok'o aawuk'oneya b́ daneti?
Even things without life, giving a voice, whether pipe or harp, if they did not give a distinction in the sounds, how would it be known what is piped or harped?
8 Ezbedo daneraw k'ááron b́ fugeyal, kes'osh kone k'aniti?
For if the trumpet gave an uncertain sound, who would prepare himself for war?
9 Mank'owere it be'ets andr noonon keewetsman it keewor it dants noon keewon keewo it k'azal it keewirwo kone danosh faliti? Jongosh keewirwok'owe it wotiti.
So also you, unless you uttered by the tongue words easy to understand, how would it be known what is spoken? For you would be speaking into the air.
10 Datsanatsere ay naari noon keewwots fa'ane bits deshaw noon keewo aaliye.
There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none is without meaning.
11 Taash keeweyiru noon keewi biitso danatse wotiyal keewiru ash mansh ibee t wotiti, bíwere taash ibee b́ wotiti.
If then I do not know the meaning of the sound, I would be to him who speaks a foreigner, and he who speaks would be a foreigner to me.
12 It S'ayin shayiri imuwotsi kup'shdek'at it geyiruwosh, bogshde'er geyo itn b́geyiyit Ik' maa ashuwots bín bokup'it imuwots boayituwok'owe.
So also you, since you are zealous for spiritual things, seek that you may abound to the building up of the church.
13 Andr noon keewiru asho b́ keewirwo biitso b́ falituwok'o Ik'o k'onuwe.
Therefore let him who speaks in another language pray that he may interpret.
14 Andr noon keewon Ik'o t k'oniyal t shayirona Ik'o tk'oniri bako t níbo shuwalke b́ wotiti.
For if I pray in another language, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.
15 Bére eeg t k'ale taan b́ geyiyiti? T shayiron Ik'o k'onituwe, t nibon dab Ik'o k'onituwe, t shayirono Ik'osh dúbetuwe, t nibon Ik'osh dúbetuwe
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also. I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
16 Hank'o woto b́ k'azal nee shayiron Ik'o n údor, nee ni etiruwo danawu asho n údonat ni Ik' k'onosh «Amen» eto aawuk'oneya b́ faliti?
Otherwise if you bless with the spirit, how will he who fills the place of the unlearned say the "Amen" at your giving of thanks, seeing he does not know what you say?
17 Arikon nee nt'iintstso údon Ik'o k'ono sheengetskee, ernmó ash k'osho bín kup'eratse.
For you truly give thanks well, but the other person is not built up.
18 Taa it úneetsiyere bogo handr noonon keewirwo twottsosh Ik'o údirwe.
I thank God I speak in tongues more than you all.
19 Ernmó k'oshuwotsi daniyosha err Ik' mootse tats kum aap'uwotsi handr noonon keewoniye úts aap'uwotsi ttookon keewo shunfee.
However in the church I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I might instruct others also, than ten thousand words in another language.
20 T eshuwwotso! gond keewosh nana'i marmat'ok'o wotoore bako it asaabiyon nan'i marmat'uwotskok'o wotk'ayere, maniyere it asaabiyon katstswotsi wotoore.
Brothers, do not be children in thoughts, yet in malice be babies, but in thoughts be mature.
21 Manuwere, «Handr noonon keewiru ashuwotsnat Bo noon keew keewo daneraw ashuwots noonon ash ashaanotssh keewitwe, Mank'o b́wotiyalor taan k'ewatsne etfe Doonzo Ik'oni» ett nemoots guut'ere.
In the law it is written, "By people of strange tongues and by the lips of strangers I will speak to this people; but even then they will not listen to me," says the Lord.
22 Hansh andr noon keew keewon keewo milikit b́wotit amaneraw ashuwotssh bako amaniru ashuwotsshaliye, bek'on keewets keewo keewonmó milikit b́wotit amaniru ashuwotssha bako amaneraw ashuwotsshaliye.
Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to the unbelieving; but prophesying is for a sign, not to the unbelieving, but to those who believe.
23 Krstiyaniwots bokakuwewor Ik' maa ashuwots andr noon keew keewon b́ keewor danawwots wee amaneraw ashuwots bowaal keewirwotssh «Ashaanots geeniya bowutsi» etaalknowa?
If therefore the whole church is assembled together and all speak in tongues, and unlearned or unbelieving people come in, won't they say that you are crazy?
24 Ernmó ik iko bek'on bo keewiyal amanerawo wee danaw asho b́waal b́shishts keew jamon bísh shiyeetuwe, wee jamon bíyats angshituwe.
But if all prophesy, and someone unbelieving or unlearned comes in, he is reproved by all, and he is judged by all.
25 B́ nibots ááshts keewo keer be'etuwe, b́ baronowere gup' gup'dek't «Arikon Ik'o itdagootse!» eton Ik'osh b́sagaditi.
And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed. So he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed.
26 Eshuwwotso! eshe eeg k'alo geyifa? Ik' k'onosh it kakuwewor ititse iko Ik'osh duubo detsfe, k'oshonu daniyo detsfe, k'oshonu ááshts keewo kish kitso detsfe, iko ando andr noonon keewo detsfe, ikonu keewetsman biitso detsfe. Eshe, jaman krstiyaniwotsi agetk woto bíngeyife.
What is it then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has another language, has an interpretation. Let all things be done to build each other up.
27 Andr noon keewwotsi keewirwots bobeyal git bor wee bí ayiyal keez wotde'er keewne, bo bokeewirwono k'osh asho biishe.
If anyone speaks in another language, let it be two, or at the most three, and in turn; and let one interpret.
28 Keewetsman biitsiru asho bíaalitka wotiyalmó andr noonon keewirwo kakweetsmanotsitse s'k eree, b́tookonat Ik'osh keewwe.
But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in the church, and let him speak to himself, and to God.
29 Bek'on keewitu gito wee keez wotar keewitunee, k'oshuwotsmó keewetsman k'ewude t'iwintsde s'iilne.
Let the prophets speak, two or three, and let the others discern.
30 Ko'eyat beyirwotsitse k'osh asho ik jago b́ bek'al, shini keewiru man s'k err beewe.
But if a revelation is made to another sitting by, let the first keep silent.
31 Ik ikuwots bo danetuwok'onat bo kup'ituwok'o it jamets taron Ik' wosho keewo falfte.
For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.
32 Nebiyiwots bek'i shayiro nebiyiyotssh keewetuwe.
The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets,
33 Jeeni Ik'o Izar Izeweri bako fayi Ik'o Izar Izeweriyaliye. S'ayin Ik'i maa ash jamotse k'alefok'o,
for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,
34 máátswots Ik' maa ashuwotsitse s'k erne. Nemonmó bí etir bo boaletwok'owa bako bo alititwok'o eekeratse.
let the women keep silent in the churches, for it has not been permitted for them to speak; but let them be in subjection, as the Law also says.
35 Ik ik keewo danosh bo geyiyal bo kenih keniho bo meyitse aatune, Ik' k'onosh ko'eyor máátsuwots bo keewo jiitsike.
If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home, for it is shameful for a woman to chatter in the church.
36 Beree Ik' aap'o b́ waa itokneya? Himó Ik' aap'o b́ waa itok mec'ree?
What? Was it from you that the word of God went out? Or did it come to you alone?
37 «Taa nebiyi taane wee taa Shayiron imetso detsfe» eteet asho b́ beyal t guut'tsan doonzo tzaziyo b́ wotok'o dande'e.
If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him recognize the things which I write to you, that they are the commandment of the Lord.
38 Han danawo b́ beyal bíwere danek'aye.
But if someone does not recognize this, he is not recognized.
39 Eshe t eshuwotso! bek'on keewosh kup'ar gewoore, andr noon keewono bazik'ayere.
Therefore, my brothers, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
40 Ernmó jam keewo niwonat matson wotowe.
Let all things be done decently and in order.
