लूका 3
1 तिबिरियुस महाराज़ेरे हुकुमतरे परनोहूँ साले मां ज़ेइस पुन्तियुस पिलातुस यहूदिया इलाकेरो गवर्नर थियो, ते गलीलेरे इलाके मां हेरोदेस गवर्नर थियो, तैसेरो ढ्ला फिलिप्पुस इतूरैया ते त्रखोनीतिस इलाकां केरो गवर्नर थियो, लिसानियास, अबिलेन इलाकेरो गवर्नर थियो।
Now in the fifteenth year of the rule of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being ruler of Judaea, and Herod being king of Galilee, his brother Philip king of the country of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias king of Abilene,
2 तैस वक्ते हन्ना ते कैफा महायाजक थिये, तेइस परमेशरे जकर्याहरे मट्ठे यूहन्ना सेइं गल्लां की। ज़ैन सुनसान ठैरी मां रातू थियूं।
When Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word of the Lord came to John, the son of Zacharias, in the waste land.
3 ते यूहन्ना यरदन दरियारे आसेपासेरे इलाकन मां गेइतां ई प्रचार केरने लगो, कि अपने पापन करां मनफिराथ, ते बपतिस्मो नेथ ताके परमेशर तुश्शे पाप माफ़ केरे।
And he came into all the country round about Jordan, preaching baptism as a sign of forgiveness of sin for those whose hearts were changed.
4 ज़ेन्च़रे यशायाह नेबेरी किताबी मां लिखोरूए, “सुनसान ठैरी मां फुकारने बालेरी आवाज़ एइचे कि, ‘प्रभुएरी बत बनाथ ते तैसेरी बत्तां पैठ्ठी केरा।’”
As it says in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, The voice of one crying in the waste land, Make ready the way of the Lord, make his roads straight.
5 “डुग्घी ठारां सैरी भेरोई गैनिन, हर अक पहाड़ ते च़ौढ़ु बछ़ोड़नोए ते ज़ैना ट्लेढी बत्तन तैना सिधी केरनिन ज़ैना उन्ढी उबरिन तैना पैठ्ठी केरनिन।
Every valley will be lifted up, and all the mountains and hills made low, and the twisted will be made straight, and the rough ways smooth;
6 ते सब लोक तैस हेरेले, ज़ै परमेशरे तैन मुक्ति देने भेज़ोरोए।”
And all flesh will see the salvation of God.
7 ते यूहन्ना तैन लोकन सेइं ज़ोवं, ज़ैना जथन मां तैस करां बपतिस्मो नेने ओरे थिये, “तुस ज़ेहरीले सप्पेरे ज़ेरे बुरे आथ! तुसन केनि ज़ोवं कि, एजनेबाले परमेशरेरे कोपे करां नश्शा?
So he said to the people who went out to him for baptism: You offspring of snakes, at whose word are you going in flight from the wrath to come?
8 बस्सा, सज़ाई करां बच़नेरे लेइ तैना कम्मां केरा, ज़ैन सेइं पतो लग्गे तुसेईं सच़्च़े पापन करां मन फिरावरोए। ते अपने-अपने मने मां एन न ज़ोथ कि, अब्राहम ज़ेन्च़रे इश्शो बाजीए, किजोकि अवं तुसन सेइं ज़ोताईं कि परमेशर इन घोड़न मरां अब्राहमेरे लेइ औलाद पैदा केरि सकते।
Make clear by your acts that your hearts have been changed; and do not say to yourselves, We have Abraham for our father: for I say to you that God is able from these stones to make children of Abraham.
9 ते हुन्ना त बुट्टां केरे ज़ीलन पुड़ परमेशरेरो मैक्कु रख्खोरोए, एल्हेरेलेइ ज़ै कोई तैस बुट्टेरो ज़ेरो भोते, ज़ै रोड़ो फल न दे, तै कटनोए ते अग्गी मां छ़डनोए।”
And even now the axe is put to the root of the trees; and every tree which does not have good fruit will be cut down and put into the fire.
10 लोकेईं तैस पुच़्छ़ू, “फिरी असां परमेशरेरी सज़ाई करां केन्च़रे बच़म?”
And the people put questions to him, saying, What have we to do?
11 यूहन्ना तैन सेइं ज़ोवं, “ज़ैस कां दूई कुरतेन त अक कुरतो तैस देथ ज़ैस कां अक भी नईं ते ज़ैस कां रोट्टी आए त तै भी रोट्टी बंटे ज़ैन कां नईं।”
And he made answer and said to them, He who has two coats, let him give to him who has not even one; and he who has food, let him do the same.
12 ते धड़त नेनेबाले भी बपतिस्मो नेने ओरे थिये तैनेईं तैस पुच़्छ़ू, “हे गुरू जी असां कुन केरम?”
Then tax-farmers came to him for baptism and said to him, Master, what have we to do?
13 तैनी तैन सेइं ज़ोवं, “ज़ैन तुश्शे लेइ सरकारी कानूनेरे हिसाबे सेइं रख्खोरूए तैस करां जादे धड़त न नेइयथ।”
And he said to them, Do not make an attempt to get more money than the right amount.
14 ते तैखन होरि सिपाहीएइं भी तैस पुच़्छ़ू, “असां कुन केरम?” यूहन्ना तैन सेइं ज़ोवं, “केन्ची पुड़ ज़ुलम केरतां बेहक न नेइयथ, ते न केन्ची पुड़ झूठो दोष लेइयथ, पन अपनि तनखुवाही पुड़ गुज़ारो केरथ।”
And men of the army put questions to him, saying, And what have we to do? And he said to them, Do no violent acts to any man, and do not take anything without right, and let your payment be enough for you.
15 तैखन लोक इंतज़ारे मां थिये कि, मसीह जल्दी एजनोए, ते सब लोक अपने दिले मां यूहन्नारे बारे मां सोचते थिये कि ज़ै ओरोए तै मसीह आए या नईं?
And while the people were waiting, and all men were questioning in their hearts about John, if he was the Christ or not,
16 त यूहन्ना तैन जुवाबे मां तैन सेइं ज़ोवं, “अवं त तुसन पैनी सेइं बपतिस्मो देताईं पन ज़ै मीं करां महाने तै एजनेबालो आए। अवं तैसेरो गुलाम बेनतां तैसेरी जुट्टी केरे तसमे भी खोलनेरे काबल नईं। तै तुसन पवित्र आत्माई ते अग्गी सेइं बपतिस्मो देलो।
John made answer, saying to them all, Truly, I give you baptism with water, but one is coming who is greater than I, whose shoes I am not good enough to undo: he will give you baptism with the Holy Spirit, and with fire:
17 तैसेरू छज्ज तैसेरे हथ्थे मां आए ते तै खलाड़ रोड़ेच़ारे साफ केरेलो, ते गेहुं अपने कोठारे मां रखेलो पन झ़ाझ़ी तैस अग्गी मां फुकेलो ज़ै कधी हिशनेरी न भोली।”
In whose hand is the instrument with which he will make clean his grain; he will put the good grain in his store, but the waste will be burned in the fire which will never be put out.
18 बस्सा तै बड़े रोड़ेच़ारे लोकन समझ़ेइतां परमेशरेरी खुशखबरी शुनातो राव।
And so comforting them with these and other words, he gave the good news to the people;
19 हेरोदेस च़ेवरोवं मुलखे पुड़ राज़ केरतो थियो। यूहन्ना तै झ़िड़कावरो थियो, कि हेरोदेस अपने ढ्ला फिलिप्पुसेरी कुआन्श हेरोदियास ज़ै थी तैस सेइं ड्ला कियोरो थियो, ते होरां भी बड़ां बुरां कम्मां कियोरां थियां।
But Herod the king, because John had made a protest on account of Herodias, his brother's wife, and other evil things which Herod had done,
20 हेरोदेस एन सेब्भन करां जादे बुरू कम कियूं कि यूहन्ना कैद केरतां छ़ड्डो।
Did this most evil thing of all, and had John shut up in prison.
21 ज़ैखन सब लोक बपतिस्मो नेने लोरे थिये त यीशुए भी बपतिस्मो नीयो, ते ज़ैखन तै प्रार्थना लोरो थियो केरने, त एरू भोवं कि स्वर्ग खुल्ली जेवं।
Now it came about that when all the people had been given baptism, Jesus, having had baptism with them, was in prayer, when, the heaven being open,
22 ते पवित्र आत्मा कबूतरेरी शकली मां यीशु पुड़ उत्रो ते अम्बरे मरां ई आवाज़ अई, “तू मेरू ट्लारू मट्ठू आस, अवं तीं पुड़ बड़ो खुश आईं।”
The Holy Spirit came down in the form of a dove, and a voice came from heaven, saying, You are my dearly loved Son, with whom I am well pleased.
23 ज़ैखन यीशुए अपने सेवारू कम शुरू कियूं त तैसेरी उमर 30 साल थी (ज़ेन्च़रे समझ़ू गातू थियूं) एन यूसुफेरू मट्ठूए, ते तैन एलेरू
And Jesus at this time was about thirty years old, being the son (as it seemed) of Joseph, the son of Heli,
24 एली मत्तातेरू ते तैन लेवेरू ते तैन मलकेरो ते तैन यन्नेएरो ते तैन यूसुफेरू मट्ठू थियूं,
The son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melchi, the son of Jannai, the son of Joseph,
25 ते तैन मत्तित्याहेरू ते तैन आमोसेरो ते तैन नहूमेरू ते तैन असल्याहेरू ते तैन नग्गईएरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Mattathias, the son of Amos, the son of Nahum, the son of Esli, the son of Naggai,
26 ते तैन मत्तातेरो ते तै मत्तित्याहेरू ते तैन शिमीएरू ते तैन योसेखेरू ते तैन योदाहेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Maath, the son of Mattathias, the son of Semein, the son of Josech, the son of Joda,
27 ते तैन यूहन्नारू ते तैन रेसारू ते तै जरुब्बाबेलेरू ते तैन शालतियेलेरू ते तैन नेरेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Joanan, the son of Rhesa, the son of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, the son of Neri,
28 ते तैन मलकीएरू ते तैन अद्दीयेरू ते तैन कोसामेरू ते तैन एल्मदामेरू ते तैन एरेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Melchi, the son of Addi, the son of Cosam, the son of Elmadam, the son of Er,
29 ते तैन येशूएरू ते तैन एलीएजेरेरू ते तैन योरीमेरू ते तैन मत्तातेरू ते तैन लेवेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Jesus, the son of Eliezer, the son of Jorim, the son of Matthat, the son of Levi,
30 ते तैन शमौनेरू ते तैन यहूदेरू ते तैन यूसुफेरो ते तैन योननेरू ते तैन एलयाकीमेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Symeon, the son of Judas, the son of Joseph, the son of Jonam, the son of Eliakim,
31 ते तैन मलेआहेरू ते तैन मिन्नाहेरो ते तैन मत्ततेरो ते तैन नातानेरो ते तैन दाऊदेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Melea, the son of Menna, the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan, the son of David,
32 ते तैन यिशैएरो ते तैन ओबेदेरो ते तैन बोआजेरो ते तैन सलमोनेरो ते तैन नहशोनेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Jesse, the son of Obed, the son of Boaz, the son of Salmon, the son of Nahshon,
33 ते तैन अम्मीनादाबेरू ते तैन अरनेरू ते तै हेस्रोनेरू ते तैन पेरेसेरू ते तैन यहूदेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Amminadab, the son of Arni, the son of Hezron, the son of Perez, the son of Judah,
34 ते तैन याकूबेरू ते तैन इसहाकेरो ते तैन अब्राहमेरू ते तैन तेरहेरो ते तैन नाहोरेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Jacob, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham, the son of Terah, the son of Nahor,
35 ते तैन सरूगेरो ते तैन रऊएरो ते तैन पेलेगेरो ते तैन एबेरेरू ते तैन शिलहेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Serug, the son of Reu, the son of Peleg, the son of Eber, the son of Shelah,
36 ते तैन केनानेरू ते तैन अरफक्षदेरो ते तैन शेमेरो ते तैन नूहेरो ते तैन लेमेकेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Cainan, the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem, the son of Noah, the son of Lamech,
37 ते तैन मथूशिलहेरू ते तैन हनोकेरो ते तैन यिरिदेरू ते तैन महललेलेरू ते तैन केनानेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalaleel, the son of Cainan,
38 ते तैन एनोशेरू ते तैन शेतेरू ते तैन आदमेरो ते तैन परमेशरेरू मट्ठू थियूं।
The son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.
