শলোমনের পরমগীত 6
1 ১ নারীদের মধ্যে সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ সুন্দরী, তোমার প্রিয়তম কোথায় গিয়েছেন? তোমার প্রিয় কোনদিকের পথে গিয়েছেন? বল, যাতে আমরা তোমার সঙ্গে তাঁর খোঁজ করতে পারি।
Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee.
2 ২ আমার প্রিয়তম তাঁর সুগন্ধি বাগানে গিয়েছেন, গিয়েছেন পশুপাল চরানোর জন্য আর লিলি ফুল জড়ো করবার জন্য।
My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.
I [am] my beloved's, and my beloved [is] mine: he feedeth among the lilies.
Thou [art] beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as [an army] with banners.
5 ৫ আমার দিক থেকে তোমার চোখ ফিরিয়ে নাও; কারণ তারা আমাকে ব্যাকুল করে তুলেছে। তোমার চুলগুলি গিলিয়দ পাহাড় থেকে নেমে আসা ছাগলের পালের মত।
Turn away thy eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair [is] as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead.
6 ৬ তোমার দাঁতগুলি স্নান করে আসা ভেড়ীর পালের মত; তাদের প্রত্যেকেরই জোড়া আছে, কোনটাই হারিয়ে যায়নি।
Thy teeth [are] as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, of which every one beareth twins, and [there is] not one barren among them.
As a piece of pomegranate [are] thy temples within thy locks.
There are sixty queens, and eighty concubines, and virgins without number.
9 ৯ আমার ঘুঘু, আমার অকলঙ্কিত সুন্দরী হলো শুধুমাত্র একজনই। সে হলো তার মায়ের একমাত্র মেয়ে, যিনি তাকে গর্ভে ধরেছিলেন তাঁর আদরের মেয়ে। আমার দেশের লোকের মেয়েরা তাকে দেখল এবং তাকে ধন্যা বলল, রাণীরা ও উপপত্নীরাও তার প্রশংসা করলেন।
My dove, my undefiled is [but] one; she [is] the [only] one of her mother, she [is] the choice [one] of her that bore her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; [yes], the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.
10 ১০ তাঁরা বললেন, “কে সে, যে ভোরের মত দেখা দেয়, চাঁদের মত সুন্দরী, সূর্য্যের মত উজ্জ্বল এবং সম্পূর্ণভাবে মুগ্ধ করে?”
Who [is] she [that] looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, [and] terrible as [an army] with banners?
11 ১১ আমি গিয়েছিলাম উপত্যকার নতুন চারাগুলো দেখতে, আঙ্গুর লতায় কুঁড়ি ধরেছে কিনা তা দেখতে, আর ডালিম গাছে ফুল ফুটেছে কিনা তা দেখতে আমি বাদাম গাছের বনে গিয়েছিলাম।
I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, [and] to see whether the vine flourished, [and] the pomegranates budded.
Or ere I was aware, my soul made me [like] the chariots of Amminadib.
13 ১৩ হে শূলম্মীয়া, ফিরে এস, ফিরে এস; আমরা যেন তোমাকে দেখতে পাই সেইজন্য ফিরে এস, ফিরে এস। তোমরা মহনয়িমের নাচ দেখার মত করে কেন শূলম্মীয়াকে দেখতে চাইছ?
Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two armies.
