শলোমনের পরমগীত 5
1 ১ আমি আমার বাগানে এসেছি, আমার বোন, আমার কনে; আমি আমার গন্ধরসের সঙ্গে আমার মশলা জোগাড় করেছি। আমি আমার মৌচাক ও আমার মধু খেয়েছি, আমি আঙ্গুর রস ও দুধ পান করেছি। খাও, হে বন্ধুরা, পান কর, ভালবাসা পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে পান কর।
I have come to garden my O sister my bride I have gathered myrrh my with spice my I have eaten honeycomb my with honey my I have drunk wine my with milk my eat O friends drink and become drunk O lovers.

6 ৬ আমি আমার প্রিয়তমের জন্য দরজা খুললাম, কিন্তু আমার প্রিয় ফিরে গিয়েছিলেন, চলে গিয়েছিলেন। আমার অন্তর নিরাশায় ডুবে গিয়েছিল। আমি তাঁকে খুঁজলাম, কিন্তু পেলাম না; আমি তাঁকে ডাকলাম, কিন্তু তিনি উত্তর দিলেন না।

9 ৯ অন্য প্রিয়তমদের থেকে তোমার প্রিয়তম কিরকম ভাল? ওহে সুন্দরী, অন্য প্রিয়তমদের চেয়ে তোমার প্রিয়তম কিসে ভাল যে, তুমি এই ভাবে আমাদের দিব্যি দিচ্ছ?
How [is]? lover your more than a lover O beautiful [one] among women how? [is] lover your more than a lover that thus you have adjured us.
Lover my [is] dazzling and ruddy [is] conspicuous more than ten thousand.
Head his [is] gold of pure gold locks his [are] curls black like raven.

13 ১৩ তাঁর গালগুলি সুগন্ধি বাগানের মত, যেখান থেকে সুগন্ধ বের হয়। তাঁর ঠোঁটগুলি গন্ধরস ঝরা লিলি ফুলের মত।
Cheeks his [are] like [the] bed of spice towers of aromatic herbs lips his [are] lilies dripping myrrh flowing.
14 ১৪ তাঁর হাতগুলি বৈদূর্যমণি বসানো সোনার আংটির মত, তাঁর উদর নীলকান্তমণিতে সাজানো হাতির দাঁতের শিল্পকাজের মত।
Hands his [are] rods of gold filled with chrysolite lower parts his [are] a plate of ivory covered sapphires.
15 ১৫ তাঁর পাগুলি খাঁটি সোনার ভিত্তির উপর বসানো শ্বেতপাথরের থামের মত; তাঁর চেহারা লিবানোনের মত, বাছাই করা এরস গাছের মত।
Legs his [are] pillars of marble founded on bases of pure gold appearance his [is] like Lebanon chosen like cedars.
16 ১৬ তাঁর মুখ খুব মিষ্টি, তিনি সম্পূর্ণ সুন্দর। হে যিরূশালেমের মেয়েরা! এই আমার প্রিয়, এই আমার বন্ধু।
Mouth his [is] sweetness and all of him [is] desirableness this [is] lover my and this [is] friend my O daughters of Jerusalem.
