রোমীয় 10

1 ১ ভাইয়েরা, আমার মনের ইচ্ছা এবং তাদের জন্য ঈশ্বরের কাছে আমার প্রার্থনা এই যে, তারা যেন মুক্তি পায়।

Brothers, the desire of my heart and my prayer to God is that Israel may be saved.

2 ২ কারণ আমি তাদের হয়ে এই সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে ঈশ্বরের বিষয়ে তাদের গভীর আগ্রহ আছে, কিন্তু তা জ্ঞান অনুসারে নয়।

I can testify that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

3 ৩ কারণ তারা ঈশ্বরের ধার্ম্মিকতা বিষয়ে কিছু জানে না এবং নিজেদের ধার্ম্মিকতা বোঝানোর চেষ্টা করে, তারা ঈশ্বরের ধার্মিকতার দাস হয়নি।

For they do not understand the righteousness of God, and by seeking to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God's righteousness.

4 ৪ কারণ ধার্মিকতার জন্য প্রত্যেক বিশ্বাসীর পক্ষে খ্রীষ্টই আইনের পূর্ণতা।

For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

5 ৫ কারণ মোশি ধার্মিকতার বিষয়ে লিখেছেন যা আইন থেকে এসেছে যে লোক আইনের ধার্মিকতার অনুশীলন করে, সে ধার্ম্মিকতায় জীবিত থাকবে।

Moses writes about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.”

6 ৬ কিন্তু বিশ্বাসের ধার্ম্মিকতা থেকে যা আসছে তা এই রকম বলে, “তোমার মনে মনে বোলো না, কে স্বর্গে আরোহণ করবে? অর্থাৎ খ্রীষ্টকে নামিয়ে আনবার জন্য,

But the righteousness that is by faith speaks like this: “Do not say in yoʋr heart, ‘Who will go up to heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down)

7 ৭ অথবা কে নরকে নামবে? অর্থাৎ মৃতদের মধ্য থেকে খ্রীষ্টকে উর্ধে আনবার জন্য।” (Abyssos g12)

“or, ‘Who will go down into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). (Abyssos g12)

8 ৮ কিন্তু এটি কি বলে? “সেই কথা তোমার কাছে, তোমার মুখে এবং তোমার হৃদয়ে রয়েছে।” বিশ্বাসের যে কথা, যা আমরা প্রচার করি।

But what does it say? “The word is near yoʋ, in yoʋr mouth and in yoʋr heart” (that is, the word of faith that we preach),

9 ৯ কারণ তুমি যদি মুখে যীশুকে প্রভু বলে মেনে নাও এবং তোমার হৃদয়ে বিশ্বাস কর যে, ঈশ্বর তাঁকে মৃতদের মধ্য থেকে উঠিয়েছেন, তুমি রক্ষা পাবে।

because if yoʋ confess with yoʋr mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe with yoʋr heart that God raised him from the dead, yoʋ will be saved.

10 ১০ কারণ লোকে মন দিয়ে বিশ্বাস করে ধার্মিকতার জন্য এবং সে মুখে স্বীকার করে পরিত্রানের জন্য।

For with the heart belief is exercised, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made, resulting in salvation.

11 ১১ কারণ শাস্ত্র বলে, “যে কেউ তাঁর উপরে বিশ্বাস করে সে লজ্জিত হবে না।”

As the Scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”

12 ১২ কারণ ইহূদি ও গ্রীকের মধ্যে কোনো পার্থক্য নেই। কারণ সেই একই প্রভু হচ্ছেন সকলের প্রভু এবং যারা তাঁকে ডাকে তিনি সবাইকে ধনবান (আশীর্বাদ) করেন।

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call upon him.

13 ১৩ কারণ যে কেউ প্রভুর নামে ডাকে সে মুক্তি পাবে।

For “everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”

14 ১৪ যারা তাঁকে বিশ্বাস করে নি তারা কেমন করে তাঁকে ডাকবে? এবং যাঁর কথা শোনে নি কেমন করে তাঁকে বিশ্বাস করবে? এবং প্রচারক না থাকলে কেমন করে তারা শুনবে?

How then will they call upon him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone preaching?

15 ১৫ এবং তাদের না পাঠানো হলে, কেমন করে তারা প্রচার করবে? যেমন লেখা আছে, “যাঁরা আনন্দের সুসমাচার প্রচার করেন তাঁদের পাগুলি কেমন সুন্দর!”

And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who preach good news of good things!”

16 ১৬ কিন্তু তারা সবাই সুসমাচার শোনে নি। কারণ যিশাইয় বলেন, “প্রভু, আমাদের বার্তা কে বিশ্বাস করেছে?”

But not all the Israelites have obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”

17 ১৭ সুতরাং বিশ্বাস আসে শোনার মাধ্যমে এবং শোনা খ্রীষ্টের বাক্যর মাধ্যমে হয়।

So then, faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes through the word of God.

18 ১৮ কিন্তু আমি বলি, “তারা কি শুনতে পায়নি?” হ্যাঁ নিশ্চই পেয়েছে। “তাদের আওয়াজ সারা জগতে ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে এবং তাদের কথা জগতের সীমা পর্যন্ত।”

But I ask, have they not heard? On the contrary, “The message has gone out into all the earth, and the words to the ends of the world.”

19 ১৯ আবার, আমি বলি, ইস্রায়েল কি জানতো না? প্রথমে মোশি বলেন, “যারা জাতি নয় তাদের দিয়ে আমি তোমাদের হিংসা জাগিয়ে তুলব। বোঝাপড়া ছাড়া একটা জাতির মানে, আমি তোমাদের রাগিয়ে তুলব।”

Again I ask, did Israel not understand? First Moses says, “I will provoke you to jealousy by that which is not a nation; by a nation that has no understanding I will provoke you to anger.”

20 ২০ এবং যিশাইয় খুব সাহসী এবং বলেন, “যারা আমার খোঁজ করে নি তারা আমাকে পেয়েছে। যারা আমার কথা জিজ্ঞাসা করে নি আমি তাদের দেখা দিয়েছি।”

And Isaiah is even bold enough to say, “I was found by those who were not seeking me; I became known to those who were not asking for me.”

21 ২১ কিন্তু ইস্রায়েলকে তিনি বলেন, “আমি সারা দিন ধরে অবাধ্য এবং বিরোধিতা করে এমন লোকেদের দিকে আমার হাত বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলাম।”

But to Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”
