1 ১ পরে আমি স্বর্গ থেকে একজন স্বর্গদূতকে নেমে আসতে দেখলাম, তাঁর হাতে ছিল গভীর গর্তের চাবি এবং একটি বড় শিকল। (Abyssos g12)

Then I saw an angel coming down from Heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit, and upon his arm he carried a great chain. (Abyssos g12)

2 ২ তিনি সেই বিরাটাকার সাপটিকে ধরলেন; এটা সেই পুরাতন সাপ, যাকে দিয়াবল [অপবাদক] ও শয়তান [বিপক্ষ] বলে; তিনি তাকে এক হাজার বৎসরের জন্য বেঁধে রাখলেন,

He laid hold of the Dragon--the ancient serpent--who is the Devil and the Adversary, and bound him for a thousand years, and hurled him into the bottomless pit.

3 ৩ আর তাকে সেই গভীর গর্তের মধ্যে ফেলে দিয়ে সেই জায়গার মুখ বন্ধ করে সীলমোহর করে দিলেন; যেন ঐ এক হাজার বৎসর শেষ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত সে জাতিদের আর প্রতারণা না করতে পারে; তারপরে অল্প কিছু দিনের র জন্য তাকে অবশ্যই ছাড়া হবে। (Abyssos g12)

He closed the entrance and put a seal upon him in order that he might be unable to lead the nations astray any more until the thousand years were at an end. Afterwards he is to be set at liberty for a short time. (Abyssos g12)

4 ৪ পরে আমি কতকগুলো সিংহাসন দেখলাম; সেগুলির উপর যারা বসে ছিলেন তাঁদের হাতে বিচার করবার ক্ষমতা দেওয়া হয়েছিল। আর যীশুর সাক্ষ্য ও ঈশ্বরের বাক্যের জন্য যাদের গলা কেটে মেরে ফেলা হয়েছিল এবং যারা সেই জন্তুটিকে ও তার মুর্ত্তিকে পূজো করে নি এবং নিজ নিজ কপালে ও হাতে তার ছবি ও চিহ্ন গ্রহণ করে নি তাদের প্রাণও দেখলাম; তারা জীবিত হয়ে এক হাজার বৎসর খ্রীষ্টের সঙ্গে রাজত্ব করল।

And I saw thrones, and some who were seated on them, to whom judgment was entrusted. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded on account of the testimony that they had borne to Jesus and on account of God's Message, and also the souls of those who had not worshipped the Wild Beast or his statue, nor received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands; and they came to Life and were kings with Christ for a thousand years.

5 ৫ হাজার বৎসর শেষ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত বাকি মৃত মানুষেরা জীবিত হল না। এটা হলো প্রথম পুনরুত্থান।

No one else who was dead rose to Life until the thousand years were at an end. This is the First Resurrection.

6 ৬ যারা এই প্রথম পুনরুত্থানের অংশী হয়, সে ধন্য ও পবিত্র; তাদের ওপরে দ্বিতীয় মৃত্যুর কোন ক্ষমতা নেই; কিন্তু তারা ঈশ্বরের ও খ্রীষ্টের যাজক হবে এবং সেই হাজার বৎসর খ্রীষ্টের সঙ্গে রাজত্ব করবে।

Blessed and holy are those who share in the First Resurrection. The Second Death has no power over them, but they shall be priests to God and to Christ, and shall be kings with Christ for the thousand years.

7 ৭ যখন সেই হাজার বৎসর শেষ হবে, শয়তানকে তার জেলখানা থেকে মুক্ত করা যাবে।

But when the thousand years are at an end, the Adversary will be released from his imprisonment,

8 ৮ তখন সে “পৃথিবীর চারদিকে বাস করে জাতিদের অর্থাৎ গোগ ও মাগোগকে”, প্রতারণা করে যুদ্ধের জন্য একসঙ্গে তাদের জড়ো করতে বের হবে। তাদের সংখ্যা সমুদ্রের বালির মত অসংখ্য।

and will go out to lead astray the nations in all the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, and assemble them for war, and they are like the sands on the seashore in number.

9 ৯ আমি দেখলাম তারা ভূমির সমস্ত জায়গায় ঘুরে এসে ঈশ্বরের পবিত্র লোকদের থাকার জায়গা এবং প্রিয় শহরটা ঘেরাও করলো; কিন্তু স্বর্গ থেকে আগুন এসে তাদের গ্রাস করল।

And they went up over the whole breadth of the earth and surrounded the encampment of God's people and the beloved city. But fire came down from Heaven and consumed them;

10 ১০ আর সেই শয়তান যে তাদের প্রতারণা করেছিল তাকে গন্ধকের ও আগুনের হ্রদে ফেলে দেওয়া হলো যেখানে সেই জন্তুটি এবং ভণ্ড ভাববাদীকেও ফেলে দেওয়া হয়েছিল। আর তারা চিরকাল সেখানে দিন রাত ধরে যন্ত্রণা ভোগ করবে। (aiōn g165, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)

and the Devil, who had been leading them astray, was thrown into the Lake of fire and sulphur where the Wild Beast and the false Prophet were, and day and night they will suffer torture until the Ages of the Ages. (aiōn g165, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)

11 ১১ তখন আমি একটি বড় সাদা রঙের সিংহাসন এবং যিনি তার ওপরে বসে আছেন তাঁকে দেখতে পেলাম; তাঁর সামনে থেকে পৃথিবী ও আকাশ পালিয়ে গেল কিন্তু তাদের যাওয়ার জন্য আর জায়গা ছিল না।

Then I saw a great white throne and One who was seated on it, from whose presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.

12 ১২ আর আমি মৃতদের দেখলাম, ছোট ও বড় সব লোক সেই সিংহাসনের সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে; পরে কয়েকটা বই খোলা হলো এবং আর একটি বইও অর্থাৎ জীবন পুস্তক খোলা হলো। বইগুলিতে যেমন লেখা ছিল তেমনি মৃতদের এবং নিজের নিজের কাজ অনুযায়ী তাদের বিচার করা হলো।

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing in front of the throne. And books were opened; and so was another book--namely, the Book of Life; and the dead were judged by the things recorded in the books in accordance with what their conduct had been.

13 ১৩ পরে সমুদ্রের মধ্যে যে সব মৃত লোকেরা ছিল তাদের সমুদ্র নিজে তুলে দিল এবং মৃত্যু ও নরক নিজেদের মধ্যে যে সব মৃত লোকেরা ছিল তাদেরকে ফিরিয়ে দিল এবং সব মৃতদের তাদের কাজ অনুসারে বিচার করা হলো। (Hadēs g86)

Then the sea yielded up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades yielded up the dead who were in them, and each man was judged in accordance with what his conduct had been. (Hadēs g86)

14 ১৪ আর মৃত্যু ও নরকে আগুনের হ্রদে ফেলে দেওয়া হলো; এই আগুনের হ্রদ হলো দ্বিতীয় মৃত্যু। (Hadēs g86, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)

Then Death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of fire; this is the Second Death--the Lake of fire. (Hadēs g86, Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)

15 ১৫ আর যদি কারোর নাম জীবন পুস্তকে লেখা পাওয়া গেল না, তাকে আগুনের হ্রদে ফেলে দেওয়া হলো। (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)

And if any one's name was not found recorded in the Book of Life he was thrown into the Lake of fire. (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
