1 ১ সদাপ্রভুু রাজত্ব করেন; পৃথিবী উল্লাসিত হোক, দ্বীপগুলি আনন্দিত হোক;
The LORD reigneth, let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of isles be glad!
2 ২ মেঘ ও অন্ধকার তার চারিদিকে, সদাপ্রভু ধার্ম্মিকতা এবং ন্যায়ের দ্বারা শাসন করেন।
Clouds and darkness are round about him; Justice and equity are the foundation of his throne.
3 ৩ আগুন তার আগে যায় এবং চারিদিকে তার বিপক্ষদেরকে গ্রাস করে।
Before him goeth a fire, Which burneth up his enemies around.
4 ৪ তার বিদ্যুৎ পৃথিবীকে আলোকিত করল; পৃথিবী তা দেখল ও কেঁপে গেল।
His lightnings illumine the world; The earth beholdeth and trembleth.
5 ৫ পর্বতগুলি মোমের মত সদাপ্রভুুর সামনে গলে গেল, সমস্ত পৃথিবীর প্রভুর সামনে।
The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6 ৬ স্বর্গ তার ন্যায়বিচার ঘোষণা করে এবং সমস্ত জাতি তার মহিমা দেখেছে।
The heavens declare his righteousness, And all nations behold his glory.
7 ৭ সেই সব লোকেরা লজ্জিত হোক, যারা খোদাই করা প্রতিমার আরাধনা করে, যারা অযোগ্য মূর্তিতে অহঙ্কার করে; হে তথাকথিত ঈশ্বর, ঈশ্বরের আরাধনা কর।
Confounded be they who worship graven images, Who glory in idols! To him, all ye gods, bow down!
8 ৮ সিয়োন শুনল ও আনন্দিত হল এবং যিহূদার মেয়েরা উল্লাসিত হল, হে সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার বিচারের জন্য।
Zion hath heard, and is glad, And the daughters of Judah exult On account of thy judgments, O LORD!
9 ৯ কারণ হে সদাপ্রভুু, তুমিই সমস্ত পৃথিবীর ওপরে সর্বশক্তিমান মহান ঈশ্বর, তুমি সমস্ত দেবতা থেকে অনেক উন্নত।
For thou, O LORD! art most high above all the earth; Thou art far exalted above all gods!
10 ১০ সদাপ্রভু তাদেরকে ভালবাসেন যারা ঘৃণাকে অপছন্দ করে, মন্দকে ঘৃণা কর! তিনি নিজের সাধুদের জীবন রক্ষা করেন এবং দুষ্টদের হাত থেকে তাদেরকে উদ্ধার করেন।
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil! He preserveth the lives of his servants, And delivereth them from the hand of the wicked.
11 ১১ আলো চমকায় ধার্ম্মিকের জন্য এবং আনন্দ তাদের জন্য যারা হৃদয়ে সৎ।
Light is sown for the righteous, And joy for the upright in heart.
12 ১২ হে ধার্মিকরা, সদাপ্রভুুতে আনন্দিত হও এবং তুমি তাঁর পবিত্র নামের ধন্যবাদ কর।
Rejoice, O ye righteous, in the LORD, And praise his holy name!
