1 ১ ইস্রাহীয় এথনের মস্কীল। আমি চিরকাল সদাপ্রভুুর নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততার কাজের গান গাব, আমি মুখে তোমার বিশ্বস্ততা আগামী প্রজন্মের কাছে প্রচার করব।

An Instructive Psalm, by Ethan the Ezrahite. The lovingkindnesses of Yahweh, age-abidingly will I sing, To generation after generation, will I make known thy faithfulness with my mouth.

2 ২ কারণ আমি বলেছি, “নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততা চিরদিনের র জন্য স্থাপিত হয়েছে, তুমি তোমার বিশ্বস্ততাকে স্বর্গে স্থাপন করেছ।”

For I said, To times age-abiding, shall lovingkindness be built up, As for the heavens, thou wilt establish thy faithfulness therein.

3 ৩ আমি আমার মনোনীতদের সঙ্গে নিয়ম করেছি, আমি আমার দাস দায়ূদের কাছে শপথ করেছি৷

I have solemnised a covenant, for my chosen one, I have sworn unto David my servant:

4 ৪ আমি তোমার বংশধরদের চিরকালের জন্য স্থাপন করব এবং আমি বংশপরম্পরায় তোমার সিংহাসন স্থাপন করব।

Unto times age-abiding, will I establish thy seed, And will build up, unto generation after generation, thy throne. (Selah)

5 ৫ হে সদাপ্রভুু, স্বর্গ তোমার আশ্চর্য্য কাজের প্রশংসা করে, পবিত্রদের সমাজে তোমার বিশ্বস্ততা প্রশংসনীয়।

So shall the heavens praise thy wondrousness, O Yahweh, —Yea, thy faithfulness, in the convocation of holy ones.

6 ৬ কারণ আকাশে সদাপ্রভুুর সঙ্গে কার তুলনা করা যেতে পারে? দেবতাদের পুত্রদের মধ্যেই বা কে সদাপ্রভুুর সমান?

For whom, in the skies, can one compare unto Yahweh? [Or] can one liken unto Yahweh, among the sons of the mighty?

7 ৭ তিনিই সেই ঈশ্বর যিনি পবিত্রদের সভাতে অতি সম্মানীয় এবং তাঁর বেষ্টনকারীদের থেকে অতি ভয়াবহ।

A GOD inspiring awe in the circle of the holy ones, exceedingly, And to be reverenced above all who are round about him.

8 ৮ হে সদাপ্রভুু, বাহিনীগনের ঈশ্বর। হে সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার মত শক্তিশালী আর কে আছে? তোমার বিশ্বস্ততা তোমার চারিদিকে অবস্থিত।

O Yahweh, God of hosts! Who, like thee, is mighty, O Yah! With thy faithfulness round about thee:

9 ৯ তুমি গর্জনকারী সমুদ্রের উপরে কর্তৃত্ব করো, যখন তার ঢেউ প্রচণ্ড হয়ে ওঠে তুমি তা শান্ত করে থাক।

Thou, rulest over the swelling of the sea, When the rolling waves thereof lift themselves, Thou, dost bid them be still:

10 ১০ তুমিই রাহবকে চূর্ণ করে মৃত ব্যক্তির সমান করেছ। তুমি তোমার শক্তিশালী বাহু দিয়ে তোমার শত্রুদেরকে ছিন্নভিন্ন করেছ।

Thou, hast crushed—as one slain—Rahab, With thy strong arm, hast thou scattered thy foes.

11 ১১ আকাশমণ্ডল তোমার এবং পৃথিবীও তোমার; তুমি পৃথিবী এবং তার ভিতরের সমস্ত বস্তু সৃষ্টি করেছ।

Thine, are the heavens, Yea, thine, the earth, The world and the fulness thereof, Thou, didst found them;

12 ১২ তুমিই উত্তর এবং দক্ষিণে দিকের সৃষ্টি করেছ। তাবোর ও হর্ম্মোন তোমার নামে উল্লাস করে।

The north and the south, Thou, didst create them, —Tabor and Hermon, with thy Name, shall shout for joy:

13 ১৩ তোমার বাহু শক্তিশালী এবং তোমার হাত শক্তিমান ও তোমার ডান হাত উঁচু।

Thine is an arm with might, Strong is thy hand, High is thy right hand;

14 ১৪ ধার্ম্মিকতা ও ন্যায় বিচার তোমার সিংহাসনের ভিত্তিমূল। নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততা ও সত্যতা তোমার সামনে উপস্থিত হয়।

Righteousness and justice, are the establishing of thy throne, Lovingkindness and faithfulness, go before thy face.

15 ১৫ ধন্য সেই লোকেরা যারা তোমার আরাধনা করে! হে সদাপ্রভুু, তারা তোমার মুখের দীপ্তিতে যাতায়াত করে।

How happy are the people who know the joyful sound! O Yahweh! in the light of thy countenance, shall they firmly march along;

16 ১৬ তারা সমস্ত দিন ধরে তোমার নামে উল্লাস করে এবং তারা তোমার ধার্ম্মিকতায় তোমাকে মহিমান্বিত করে।

In thy Name, shall they exult all the day, And, in thy righteousness, shall they be exalted.

17 ১৭ তুমিই তাদের শক্তির শোভা এবং তোমার অনুগ্রহে আমরা বিজয়ী হই।

For, the beauty of their strength, thou art, And, in thine acceptance, shall our horns be exalted.

18 ১৮ কারণ আমাদের ঢাল সদাপ্রভুুরই, আমাদের রাজা, ইস্রায়েলের পবিত্রতম।

For, to Yahweh, belongeth our Shield, And, to the Holy One of Israel, belongeth our King.

19 ১৯ অনেক দিন আগে তুমি তোমার বিশ্বস্ত জনের সঙ্গে দর্শনের মধ্য দিয়ে কথা বলেছিলে; তুমি বলেছিলে, “আমি বীরকে মুকুট পরিয়েছি; আমি প্রজাদের মধ্যে থেকে মনোনীত এক জনকে উঠিয়েছি।”

Then spakest thou in vision of thy men of lovingkindness, and saidst—I have laid help upon a mighty one, I have exalted one chosen from among the people;

20 ২০ আমি আমার দাস দায়ূদকে মনোনীত করেছি, আমার পবিত্র তেল দিয়ে তাকে অভিষিক্ত করেছি।

I have found David my servant, With mine own holy oil, have I anointed him;

21 ২১ আমার হাত তাকে সাহায্য করবে, আমার বাহু তাকে শক্তিশালী করবে।

With whom my hand shall be firm, Yea, mine arm, shall strengthen him;

22 ২২ কোনো শত্রুই তার সঙ্গে প্রতারণা করবে না, দুষ্টতার সন্তান তাকে কষ্ট দেবে না।

No foe shall make exactions on him, Nor shall, a son of perversity, humiliate him;

23 ২৩ আমি তার শত্রুদের তার সামনে চূর্ণ করব; যারা তাকে ঘৃণা করবে আমি তাদের ধ্বংস করব।

And I will shatter, from before him, his adversaries, And, them who hate him, will I smite;

24 ২৪ আমার সত্য ও নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততা তার সঙ্গে থাকবে; আমার নামে সে বিজয়ী হবে।

And, my faithfulness and my lovingkindness, shall be with him, And, in my Name, exalted shall be his horn;

25 ২৫ আমি তার হাত সমুদ্রের উপরে স্থাপন করব এবং তার ডান হাত সমস্ত নদীদের উপরে থাকবে।

And I will set, in the sea, his hand, And, in the rivers, his right hand;

26 ২৬ সে আমাকে ডেকে বলবে, তুমি আমার পিতা, আমার ঈশ্বর এবং আমার পরিত্রানের শৈল।

He, shall cry out unto me, My Father, thou art, My GOD, and my Rock of Salvation!

27 ২৭ আমিও তাকে আমার প্রথম জাত সন্তান করব, পৃথিবীর সমস্ত রাজাদের থেকে মহান করে নিযুক্ত করব।

Yea, I, will appoint him, firstborn, Most High to the kings of the earth!

28 ২৮ আমি তার প্রতি আমার নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততা চিরকালের জন্য বৃদ্ধি করব এবং তার সঙ্গে আমার নিয়ম দৃঢ় করব।

Age-abidingly, will I keep for him my lovingkindness, And, my covenant, hath been made steadfast for him;

29 ২৯ আমি তার বংশকে চিরকালের জন্য স্থায়ী করব এবং তার সিংহাসন আকাশের আয়ুর মত করব।

Therefore will I appoint, to futurity, his seed, And his throne as the days of the heavens.

30 ৩০ যদি তার সন্তানেরা আমার ব্যবস্থা ত্যাগ করে এবং আমার শাসনের অবাধ্য হয়;

If his sons forsake my law, And, in my regulations, do not walk;

31 ৩১ যদি তারা আমার বিধিগুলি লঙ্ঘন করে এবং আমার ন্যায় বিধান পালন না করে;

If, my statutes, they profane, And, my commandments, do not keep:

32 ৩২ তবে আমি তাদের অবাধ্যতার জন্য লাঠি দিয়ে তাদের শাস্তি দেব এবং তাদের পাপের জন্য আঘাত করব;

Then will I punish, with a rod, their transgression; And, with stripes, their iniquity:

33 ৩৩ কিন্তু আমি তার থেকে আমার নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততা কখনো সরিয়ে নেব না, বা আমার প্রতিজ্ঞার প্রতি অবিশ্বস্ত হব না।

But, my lovingkindness, will I not frustrate from them, Neither will I falsify my faithfulness;

34 ৩৪ আমি আমার নিয়ম ভঙ্গ করব না, বা, আমার মুখের বাক্য পরিবর্তন করব না।

I will not violate my covenant, And that which hath proceeded out of my lips, will I not alter:

35 ৩৫ আমি আমার পবিত্রতায় একবার শপথ করেছি, দায়ূদের কাছে কখনও মিথ্যা বলব না।

One thing, have I sworn by my holiness, Verily, to David, will I not lie;

36 ৩৬ তার বংশ চিরকাল থাকবে এবং তার সিংহাসন আমার সামনে সূর্য্যের মত হবে।

His seed, age-abidingly, shall remain, And, his throne, be like the sun before me;

37 ৩৭ তা চাঁদের মত চিরকাল স্থির থাকবে; আকাশের বিশ্বস্ত সাক্ষী। সেলা৷

Like the moon, shall it be established unto times age-abiding, And, a witness, in the skies, hath been made sure. (Selah)

38 ৩৮ কিন্তু তুমিই অস্বীকার ও পরিত্যাগ করেছ, তুমিই তোমার অভিষিক্ত রাজার প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছ।

Yet, thou thyself, hast cast off, and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with thine Anointed One!

39 ৩৯ তুমি তোমার দাসের নিয়ম অস্বীকার করেছ, তুমি তার মুকুট মাটিতে ফেলে অশুচি করেছ।

Thou hast cast down the covenant of thy Servant, Thou hast profaned, to the earth, his crown;

40 ৪০ তুমি তার সমস্ত দেওয়াল ভেঙে ফেলেছ৷ তুমি তার সমস্ত দূর্গগুলি ধ্বংস করেছ।

Thou hast broken down all his defenses, Thou hast laid his fortresses in ruins;

41 ৪১ পথিকেরা সবাই তাকে লুট করেছে; সে তার প্রতিবেশীদের তিরস্কারের পাত্র হয়েছে।

All the passers by the way, have plundered him, He hath become a reproach to his neighbours;

42 ৪২ তুমি তার শত্রুদের ডান হাত তুলেছ, তুমি তার সমস্ত শত্রুদেরকে আনন্দিত করেছ।

Thou hast raised the right hand of his adversaries, Thou hast gladdened all his enemies;

43 ৪৩ তুমি তার তরোয়ালের ধার ফিরিয়ে দিয়েছ এবং যুদ্ধে তাকে দাঁড়াতে দাও নি।

Yea thou hast turned the edge of his sword, Neither hast thou caused him to stand in the battle;

44 ৪৪ তুমি তার প্রতাপ শেষ করেছ, তার সিংহাসনকে মাটিতে নিক্ষেপ করেছ।

Thou hast brought to an end his splendour, And, his throne—to the ground, hast thou hurled;

45 ৪৫ তুমি তার যৌবনকাল সংক্ষিপ্ত করেছ৷ তুমি তাকে লজ্জায় আচ্ছন্ন করেছ।

Thou hast shortened the days of his youths, —Thou hast covered him with shame. (Selah)

46 ৪৬ হে সদাপ্রভুু, কতকাল? তুমি নিজেকে চিরকাল লুকিয়ে রাখবে? আর কত দিন তোমার ক্রোধ আগুনের মত জ্বলবে?

How long, O Yahweh, Wilt thou hide thyself utterly? Shall thine indignation, burn like fire?

47 ৪৭ স্মরণ কর, আমার দিন কত অল্প এবং তুমি মানবসন্তানদেরকে অসারতার জন্য সৃষ্টি করেছ।

Remember how short-lived, I, am, Wherefore, in vain, hast thou created all the sons of Adam?

48 ৪৮ কে জীবিত থাকবে, মৃত্যু দেখবে না, বা, কে তার নিজের প্রাণকে পাতালের শক্তি থেকে মুক্ত করতে পারে? (Sheol h7585)

Who is the man that shall live, and not see death? That can deliver his soul from the hand of hades. (Selah) (Sheol h7585)

49 ৪৯ হে প্রভু, তোমার সেই পূর্বের নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততা যা তুমি তোমার বিশ্বস্ততায় দায়ূদের কাছে শপথ করেছিলে।

Where are thy former lovingkindnesses, O My Lord? Thou didst swear unto David, in thy faithfulness!

50 ৫০ হে প্রভু, তোমার দাসের প্রতি যে তিরস্কার করা হয়েছে তা স্মরণ করো এবং জাতিদের কাছ থেকে পাওয়া অপমান আমি আমার হৃদয়ে বহন করি।

Remember, O My Lord, the reproach of thy servants, I have carried in my bosom the insult of the peoples:

51 ৫১ হে সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার শত্রুরা তিরস্কার করেছে, তারা তোমার অভিষিক্তের পদ চিহ্নকে তিরস্কার করেছে।

In that thy foes have reproached, O Yahweh, In that they have reproached the footsteps of thine Anointed One!

52 ৫২ ধন্য সদাপ্রভুু, চিরকালের জন্য। আমেন, আমেন।

Blessed be Yahweh to times age-abiding, Amen, and Amen!
