1 ১ প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। যিদূথূনের প্রণালীতে। আসফের সঙ্গীত। আমি আমার স্বরে ঈশ্বরের কাছে আর্তনাদ করব; আমি আমার স্বরে ঈশ্বরের কাছে আর্তনাদ করব এবং আমার ঈশ্বর আমার আর্তনাদ শুনবেন।

To the Chief Musician. On "Jeduthun." Asaph’s, a Melody. With my voice—unto God, will I make outcry, With my voice unto God, and he will give ear unto me;

2 ২ আমার সঙ্কটের দিনের আমি প্রভুর খোঁজ করলাম। আমি সমস্ত রাত, আমার হাত বিস্তারিত করে প্রার্থনা করলাম, আমার প্রাণ সান্ত্বনা প্রাপ্ত হল না।

In the day of my distress—unto My Lord, will I seek, My hand, by night, hath been outstretched and never once became slack, My soul, hath refused to be consoled;

3 ৩ আমি আর্তনাদের দিন ঈশ্বরকে স্মরণ করছি; আমি তাঁর বিষয়ে চিন্তা করতে করতে মূর্ছা যাচ্ছি।

I remember God and I murmur, I muse, and my spirit swooneth. (Selah)

4 ৪ তুমি আমার চোখ খোলা রেখেছ; আমি এতই চিন্তিত যে, কথা বলতে পারি না।

Thou hast held, watching, mine eyes, I was driven to and fro, and could not speak;

5 ৫ আমি পূর্বের দিন গুলির বিষয়ে, অনেক আগের অতীত কালের বিষয়ে চিন্তা করলাম।

I reasoned, Of the days of aforetime, Of the years of by-gone ages;

6 ৬ আমি রাতের বেলায় একবার একটি গান স্মরণ করলাম যা আমি একবার গেয়েছিলাম; আমি মনোযোগের সঙ্গে চিন্তা করলাম এবং কি ঘটেছিল তা আমি আমার হৃদয়ে অনুসন্ধান করলাম।

I remember my song in the night, —With my own heart, I commune, And my spirit, maketh search: —

7 ৭ প্রভু কি আমাকে চিরকালের জন্য ত্যাগ করবেন? তিনি কি আর কখনই আমাকে দয়া দেখাবেন না?

For ages, will My Lord reject? And, not again, grant acceptance any more?

8 ৮ তাঁর নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততা কি চিরদিনের র জন্য শেষ হয়ে গিয়েছে? তাঁর প্রতিজ্ঞা কি চিরকালের জন্য বিফল হয়েছে?

Hath his lovingkindness, come to a perpetual end? Hath his word failed to generation after generation?

9 ৯ ঈশ্বর কি দয়ালু হতে ভুলে গিয়েছেন? তাঁর ক্রোধে কি তাঁর করুণাকে রুদ্ধ করেছে?

Hath GOD, forgotten to show favour? Or hath he shut up, in anger, his compassions? (Selah)

10 ১০ আমি বললাম, “এ আমার দুঃখ, যখন সর্ব শক্তিমান তাঁর ডান হাতকে আমাদের দিকে প্রসারিত করেছিলেন, সেই বছরগুলি স্মরণ করি।”

Then said I—An affliction to me, it is, The changing of the right hand of the Most High.

11 ১১ সদাপ্রভুু, আমি তোমার কাজগুলি স্মরণ করব; আমি তোমার পূর্বের আশ্চর্য্য কাজগুলি স্মরণ করব।

I will remember the doings of Yah, Surely I will remember, out of aforetime, thy wonderful way;

12 ১২ আমি তোমার সমস্ত কাজগুলির বিষয়ে চিন্তা করব; তোমার কাজের বিষয়ে আলোচনা করব।

And will talk to myself of all thy work, And, of thy doings, will I muse: —

13 ১৩ হে ঈশ্বর, তোমার পথ পবিত্র; কোন দেবতা আমাদের ঈশ্বরের মত মহান?

O God, in the sanctuary, is thy way, —Who is a great GOD like Elohim?

14 ১৪ তুমিই সেই ঈশ্বর যিনি আশ্চর্য্য কাজ করেন; তুমি লোকেদের মধ্যে তোমার শক্তি প্রকাশ করেছ।

Thou, art GOD, doing wonderfully, —Thou hast made known, among the peoples, thy might;

15 ১৫ তোমার মহান শক্তির দ্বারা তুমি তোমার লোকদের বিজয় দিয়েছ, যাকোবের ও যোষেফের সন্তানদের, মুক্ত করেছ।

Thou didst redeem, with thine arm—Thy people, Thy sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)

16 ১৬ হে ঈশ্বর, সমস্ত সমুদ্র তোমাকে দেখল; সমস্ত সমুদ্র তোমাকে দেখল এবং তারা ভীত হল, গভীর সমুদ্র বিচলিত হল।

The waters saw thee, O God, The waters saw thee, They were in birth-throes, Yea the resounding deeps were stirred;

17 ১৭ সমস্ত মেঘ জলের ধারা বর্ষণ করল, আকাশমণ্ডল গর্জন করল, তোমার সমস্ত তিরগুলি বিক্ষিপ্ত হল।

The clouds, poured down waters, The skies uttered, a voice, Yea, thine arrows, flew hither and thither;

18 ১৮ ঝড়ের মধ্যে থেকে তোমার বজ্রের মত ধ্বনি শোনা গেল, বিদ্যুৎ জগৎকে আলোকিত করল, পৃথিবী কেঁপে গেল ও টলে উঠল।

The, voice of thy thunder, was in the whirlwind, Thy lightnings illumined the world, The earth, trembled and quaked;

19 ১৯ সমুদ্রের মধ্যে তোমার রাস্তা চলে গেল এবং বহু জলরাশির মধ্যে দিয়ে তোমার পথ ছিল, কিন্তু তোমার পায়ের চিহ্ন দেখা গেল না।

In the sea, was thy way, And, thy path, in the mighty waters, And, thy footprints, could not be known:

20 ২০ তুমিই তোমার প্রজাদের ভেড়ার পালের মত মোশি ও হারোণের হাত দিয়ে পরিচালনা করেছ।

Thou didst lead, like a flock, thy people, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
