গীতসংহিতা 71

1 ১ সদাপ্রভুু আমি তোমার মধ্যে আশ্রয় নিই; আমাকে কখনও লজ্জিত হতে দিও না।

In thee, O LORD! do I put my trust! Let me never be put to shame!

2 ২ আমাকে উদ্ধার করো এবং ধার্মিকতার মধ্যে আমাকে রক্ষা কর; আমার প্রতি কান দাও এবং আমার রক্ষা কর।

In thy goodness deliver and rescue me; Incline thine ear to me, and save me!

3 ৩ তুমি আমার আশ্রয়ে শৈল হবে, যেখানে আমি সবদিন যেতে পারি; তুমি আমার রক্ষা করতে আজ্ঞা করেছ; কারণ তুমিই আমার শৈল এবং আমার দূর্গ।

Be thou the rock of my abode, where I may continually resort! Thou hast granted me deliverance; For thou art my rock and my fortress!

4 ৪ আমার ঈশ্বর, আমাকে উদ্ধার কর, দুষ্টদের হাত থেকে এবং অন্যায়কারী নিষ্ঠুরতার হাত থেকে।

Save me, O my God! from the hand of the wicked, -From the hand of the unjust and cruel!

5 ৫ কারণ, প্রভু, তুমিই আমার আশা; তুমি ছোটবেলা থেকেই আমার বিশ্বাসভূমি।

For thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah! Thou hast been my trust from my youth!

6 ৬ গর্ভ থেকেই তোমার উপরেই আমার আশ্রয়; মায়ের জঠর থেকেই তুমিই আমাকে নিয়েছ; আমি সবদিন তোমারই প্রশংসা করি।

Upon thee have I leaned from my birth; From my earliest breath thou hast been my support; My song hath been continually of thee!

7 ৭ আমি অনেকের দৃষ্টিতে উদাহরণ স্বরূপ; তুমি আমার দৃঢ় আশ্রয়।

I am a wonder to many, But thou art my strong refuge.

8 ৮ আমার মুখ তোমার প্রশংসায় পরিপূর্ণ থাকবে এবং সমস্ত দিন তোমার সম্মান করবো।

Let my mouth be filled with thy praise; Yea, all the day long, with thy glory.

9 ৯ বৃদ্ধ বয়সে আমাকে পরিত্যাগ কর না, আমার শক্তি ক্ষয় পেলেও আমাকে ছেঁড়ো না।

Cast me not off in mine old age; Forsake me not, When my strength faileth!

10 ১০ কারণ আমার শত্রুরা আমার বিষয়ে কথা বলে, আমার জীবনের উপরে যাদের চোখ, তারা একত্র পরিকল্পনা করে।

For my enemies speak against me, And they who lay wait for my life consult together:

11 ১১ তারা বলে, ঈশ্বর তাকে ত্যাগ করেছেন, দৌড়ে তাকে ধর, কারণ রক্ষা করার কেউ নেই।

“God,” say they, “hath forsaken him; Pursue and seize him; for he hath none to deliver him!”

12 ১২ ঈশ্বর আমার থেকে দূরে যেও না; আমার ঈশ্বর, আমার সাহায্য করতে ত্বরা কর।

O God! be not far from me! Come speedily to mine aid, O my God!

13 ১৩ তারা লজ্জিত ও ক্ষয়প্রাপ্ত হোক, যারা আমার জীবনের প্রতিকূলে; তারা তিরস্কারে ও অপমানে আচ্ছন্ন হোক, যারা আমার ক্ষতির চেষ্টা করে।

Let them perish with shame who are my enemies; Let them be covered with contempt and dishonor who seek my hurt!

14 ১৪ কিন্তু আমি সবদিন আশা করব এবং অধিক আমি তোমার আরও প্রশংসা করব।

But I will hope continually; I shall yet praise thee more and more.

15 ১৫ আমার মুখ তোমার ধার্মিকতার বিষয় বর্ণনা করবে এবং তোমার পরিত্রান সমস্ত দিন বর্ণনা করবে, যেহেতু আমি তা বুঝিনা।

My mouth shall speak of thy goodness, —Of thy sure protection all the day long; For thy mercies are more than I can number.

16 ১৬ আমি প্রভু সদাপ্রভুুর পরাক্রমের কাজ সব উল্লেখ করব; আমি তোমার, কেবল তোমারই ধার্ম্মিকতা উল্লেখ করব।

I will celebrate thy mighty deeds, O Lord Jehovah! I will make mention of thy goodness, of thine only!

17 ১৭ ঈশ্বর, তুমি যৌবনকালে থেকে আমাকে শিক্ষা দিয়ে আসছ; আর এ পর্যন্ত আমি তোমার সুন্দর কাজকে প্রচার করেছি।

O God! thou hast taught me from my youth, And thus far have I declared thy wondrous deeds;

18 ১৮ প্রকৃত পক্ষে, ঈশ্বর বৃদ্ধ বয়স এবং পাকাচুলের কাল পর্যন্ত আমাকে পরিত্যাগ কর না, আমি এই সব লোককে তোমার বাহুবল ও ভাবি বংশধরদের কাছে তোমার পরাক্রমের কথা ঘোষণা করি।

And now, when I am old and gray-headed, O God! forsake me not, Until I make known thine arm to the next generation, -Thy mighty power to all that are to come!

19 ১৯ ঈশ্বর, তোমার ধার্মিককথা উচ্চ পর্যন্ত; তুমি মহৎ কাজ করেছ; ঈশ্বর, তোমার মত কে আছে?

For thy goodness, O God! reacheth to the heavens; Wonderful things doest thou! O God! who is like unto thee?

20 ২০ তুমি আমাদেরকে অনেক সংকট ও বিপদের প্রদর্শন করেছ, তুমি ফিরে আমাকে পুনরাই জীবিত কর, পৃথিবীর গভীরতা থেকে আবার উঠাও।

Thou hast suffered us to see great and grievous troubles; Thou wilt again give us life, And wilt bring us back from the depths of the earth!

21 ২১ তুমি আমার সম্মান বৃদ্ধি করেছ; ফিরিয়ে আমাকে সান্ত্বনা দাও।

Thou wilt increase my greatness; Thou wilt again comfort me!

22 ২২ আবার আমি নেবল যন্ত্রে তোমার স্তব করব, কারণ তোমার বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতার জন্য, আমার ঈশ্বর, বীণা যন্ত্রে তোমার উদ্দেশ্যে সঙ্গীত করব।

Then will I praise thee with the psaltery; Even thy faithfulness, O my God! To thee will I sing with the harp, O Holy One of Israel!

23 ২৩ তোমার উদ্দেশ্যে সঙ্গীত করবার দিনের আমার ঠোঁট আনন্দ গান করবে এবং আমরা প্রাণও করবে, যা তুমি মুক্ত করেছ।

My lips shall rejoice, when I sing to thee; And my soul, which thou hast redeemed from death;

24 ২৪ আমার জিভ সমস্ত দিন তোমার ধার্মিককথার বিষয়ে বলে, কারণ তারা লজ্জিত এবং হতাশ হয়েছে, যারা আমার ক্ষতি করার চেষ্টা করে।

My tongue also shall continually speak of thy righteousness: For all who seek my hurt are brought to shame and confounded.
