গীতসংহিতা 63

1 ১ দায়ূদের একটি গীত। যিহূদার প্রান্তরে তার অবস্থিতি কালীন। ঈশ্বর, তুমি আমার ঈশ্বর; আমি আন্তরিকভাবে তোমাকে সন্ধান করব; আমার প্রাণ তোমার জন্য পিপাসিত এবং আমার মাংস তোমার জন্য কামনা করে, শুস্ক ও শ্রান্তিকর দেশ ও জল বিহীন।

God, you are the God whom I [worship]. I greatly desire to be with you like [SIL] a person in a dry hot desert greatly desires [some cool water].

2 ২ তাই আমি পবিত্রস্থানে তোমার দিকে তাকিয়ে আছি তোমার পরাক্রম ও তোমার গৌরব দেখার জন্য।

So, I want to see you in your temple; I want to see that you are great and glorious.

3 ৩ কারণ তোমার নিয়মের বিশ্বস্ততা আমার জীবন থেকেও উত্তম, আমার ঠোঁট তোমার প্রশংসা করবে।

Your constantly loving [me] is (worth more/more precious) than [my] life, so I [MTY] will [always] praise you.

4 ৪ তাই আমি যাবজ্জীবন তোমার ধন্যবাদ করব, আমি তোমার নামে হাত উঠাবো।

I will praise you all the time that I live; I will lift up my hands to you while I pray.

5 ৫ আমার প্রাণ তৃপ্ত হবে, যেমন মেদ ও মজ্জাতে হয়, আমার মুখ আনন্দ পূর্ণ ঠোঁটে তোমার প্রশংসা করবে।

[Knowing you satisfies me more than] [IDM, MET] my eating a very big feast, [so] I will praise you while I sing [MTY] joyful songs.

6 ৬ আমি শয্যার উপরে যখন তোমাকে স্মরণ করি এবং রাতের বেলায় তোমার বিষয় ধ্যান করি।

While I lie on my bed, I think about you. I think/meditate about you all during the night,

7 ৭ কারণ তুমি আমাকে সাহায্য করেছ এবং তোমার ডানার ছায়াতে আমি আনন্দ পাই।

because you have always helped me, and I sing joyfully knowing that I am protected by you [as a little bird is protected] under [its mother’s] wings [MET].

8 ৮ আমার প্রাণ তোমারকে জড়িয়ে আছে; তোমার ডান হাত আমাকে সমর্থন করে।

I cling to you; and with your hand/power you protect me.

9 ৯ কিন্তু যারা আমার প্রাণের অনুধাবন করে তারা পৃথিবীর নিম্নভাগে যাবে।

But those who are trying to kill me will [die and] descend into the place of the dead;

10 ১০ তাদের হাতে তরোয়াল তুলে দেওয়া হবে, তারা শিয়ালের খাবার হবে।

they will be killed in battles [MTY] and their [corpses] will be eaten by jackals/wild dogs.

11 ১১ কিন্তু রাজা ঈশ্বরের আনন্দ করবেন; যে কেউ তাতে শপথ করে সে গর্ব করবে; কারণ মিথ্যাবাদীদের মুখ বন্ধ হবে।

But I, the king [of Israel], will rejoice in what God has done; and all those who revere and trust God will praise him, but he will not allow liars to say anything.
