গীতসংহিতা 43
1 ১ ঈশ্বর, আমার বিচার কর এবং একটি অসাধু জাতির বিরুদ্ধে আমার উদ্দেশ্যে আত্মসমর্পণ কর; আমাকে মিথ্যাবাদী ও অন্যায়কারীদের থেকে উদ্ধার কর।
Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
For you are the God of my strength: why do you cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3 ৩ ওহো, তোমার আলো এবং সত্যকে প্রেরণ কর; তারাই আমার নেতৃত্ব দিক, আমাকে তোমার পবিত্র পাহাড়ে ও তোমার তাঁবুতে নিয়ে আসুক।
O send out your light and your truth: let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill, and to your tabernacles.
4 ৪ তখন আমি ঈশ্বরের বেদিতে যাবো এবং আমার ঈশ্বরে অত্যধিক আনন্দিত হবো ও আমার বীণাতে তোমার প্রশংসা করবো, হে ঈশ্বর আমার ঈশ্বর।
Then will I go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy: yes, on the harp will I praise you, O God my God.
5 ৫ কেন তুমি আমার প্রাণকে নিরুৎসাহিত করছ? তুমি ঈশ্বরের আশা কর; কারণ আমি এখনও তাঁর প্রশংসা করবো, তিনি আমার পরিত্রান এবং আমার ঈশ্বর।
Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
