গীতসংহিতা 38

1 ১ স্মরণার্থক, দায়ূদের একটি গীত। সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার ক্রোধে আমাকে তিরস্কার করো না, তোমার রোষে আমাকে শাস্তি দিও না।

A Psalm of David, 'To cause to remember.' Jehovah, in Thy wrath reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me.

2 ২ কারণ তোমার তীর আমাকে বিদ্ধ করে এবং তোমার হাত আমাকে নিচে চেপে ধরেছে।

For Thine arrows have come down on me, And Thou lettest down upon me Thy hand.

3 ৩ আমার সমস্ত শরীর অসুস্থ তোমার রাগের কারণে; আমার পাপের কারণে আমার হাড়ে কোন স্বাস্হ্য নেই।

Soundness is not in my flesh, Because of Thine indignation, Peace is not in my bones because of my sin.

4 ৪ কারণ আমার পাপ আমাকে আচ্ছন্ন করেছে; তারা আমার জন্য ভারী বোঝার মত।

For mine iniquities have passed over my head, As a heavy burden — too heavy for me.

5 ৫ আমার অজ্ঞানতার কারণে আমার ক্ষত সংক্রমণ হয় এবং দূর্গন্ধ হয়।

Stunk — become corrupt have my wounds, Because of my folly.

6 ৬ আমি নুইয়ে পরেছি, পাপের ভারে আমি প্রতিদিন ও শোক সম্পর্কে আমি সারাদিন অপমানিত হচ্ছি।

I have been bent down, I have been bowed down — unto excess, All the day I have gone mourning.

7 ৭ কারণ আমি লজ্জার সাথে পরাস্ত হয়েছি এবং আমার পুরো শরীর অসুস্থ।

For my flanks have been full of drought, And soundness is not in my flesh.

8 ৮ আমি অসাড় এবং সম্পূর্ণভাবে চূর্ণ হয়েছি; আমি আমার হৃদয়ের যন্ত্রণার কারণে আতর্নাদ করছি।

I have been feeble and smitten — unto excess, I have roared from disquietude of heart.

9 ৯ প্রভু, তুমি আমার হৃদয়ের গভীর আকাঙ্খা এবং আমার আর্তস্বর তোমার কাছ লুকানো নেই।

Lord, before Thee [is] all my desire, And my sighing from Thee hath not been hid.

10 ১০ আমার হৃদয় আঘাত করেছে, আমার শক্তি বিলীন হয়েছে এবং আমার দৃষ্টিশক্তি অস্পষ্ট হয়েছে।

My heart [is] panting, my power hath forsaken me, And the light of mine eyes, Even they are not with me.

11 ১১ আমার বন্ধু এবং সঙ্গীরা আমার অবস্হা কারণে আমাকে ত্যাগ করে; আমার প্রতিবেশীরা দূরে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে।

My lovers and my friends over-against my plague stand. And my neighbours afar off have stood.

12 ১২ যারা আমার প্রাণের খোঁজ করে, তারা ফাঁদ পেতেছে। যারা আমার ক্ষতি কামনা করে তারা ধ্বংসের কথা বলে এবং সমস্ত দিন ধরে প্রতারণাপূর্ণ কথা বলে।

And those seeking my soul lay a snare, And those seeking my evil Have spoken mischievous things, And they do deceits meditate all the day.

13 ১৩ কিন্তু আমি, বধির মানুষের মত যে কিছুই শুনতে পায়না; আমি একটি বোবা মানুষের মত যে কিছুই বলে না।

And I, as deaf, hear not. And as a dumb one who openeth not his mouth.

14 ১৪ আমি এমন একজন লোকের মতো নই যে শুনতে পায় না এবং যার উত্তর নেই।

Yea, I am as a man who heareth not, And in his mouth are no reproofs.

15 ১৫ সদাপ্রভুু; নিশ্চয় আমি তোমার জন্য অপেক্ষা করেছি, প্রভু আমার ঈশ্বর, তুমি উত্তর দেবে।

Because for Thee, O Jehovah, I have waited, Thou dost answer, O Lord my God.

16 ১৬ আমি এটা বলছি যাতে আমার শত্রুরা আমার উপর গর্ব না করে। যখন আমার পা পিছলায়, তারা এই জিনিসে উল্লাসিত হয়।

When I said, 'Lest they rejoice over me, In the slipping of my foot against me they magnified themselves.

17 ১৭ কারণ আমি হোঁচট খেয়ে পড়তে চলেছি এবং আমি অবিরত ব্যথা পাচ্ছি।

For I am ready to halt, And my pain [is] before me continually.

18 ১৮ আমি আমার অপরাধ স্বীকার করব; আমি আমার পাপ সম্পর্কে চিন্তিত।

For mine iniquity I declare, I am sorry for my sin.

19 ১৯ কিন্তু আমার শত্রুরা অসংখ্য; অনেকেই অন্যায়ভাবে আমাকে ঘৃণা করে।

And mine enemies [are] lively, They have been strong, and those hating me without cause, Have been multiplied.

20 ২০ তারা ভালোর পরিবর্তে মন্দ পরিশোধ দেয়; তারা আমার উপর অভিযোগ দোষারোপ করে যদিও আমি যা ভাল তা অনুধাবন করেছি।

And those paying evil for good accuse me, Because of my pursuing good.

21 ২১ সদাপ্রভুু; আমাকে পরিত্যাগ করো না, আমার ঈশ্বর, আমার কাছ থেকে দূরে থেকো না।

Do not forsake me, O Jehovah, My God, be not far from me,

22 ২২ প্রভু, আমার পরিত্রান, তুমি আমাকে সাহায্য করতে দ্রুত এস।

Haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation!
