1 ১ আরোহণ-গীত। দায়ূদের। সদাপ্রভুু, আমার হৃদয় গর্বিত অথবা আমার দৃষ্টি উদ্ধত নয়। আমার নিজের জন্য আমার বিরাট আশা নেই অথবা আমার মাথাব্যথা নেই সেই জিনিসের সঙ্গে যেগুলো আমার থেকে বহূ দূরে

Adonai, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me.

2 ২ প্রকৃত পক্ষে আমি এখনো আমার আত্মাকে শান্ত রেখেছি; বুকের দুধ ছাড়ানো শিশুর মতো, আমার আত্মা বুকের দুধ ছাড়ানো শিশুর মতো আমার সঙ্গে আছে,

Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.

3 ৩ ইস্রায়েল, সদাপ্রভুুতে আশা কর এখন এবং অনন্তকাল।
