গীতসংহিতা 130

1 ১ আরোহণ-গীত। আমি বিপদের গভীর সমুদ্রথেকে তোমাকে ডাকি, সদাপ্রভুু।

A Song of degrees. Out of the depths do I call upon thee, Jehovah.

2 ২ প্রভু আমার রব শোন, তোমার কান আমার বিনতির রব শুনুক।

Lord, hear my voice; let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.

3 ৩ যদি তুমি, সদাপ্রভুু, অপরাধ সব ধর, প্রভু, কে দাঁড়াতে পারে?

If thou, Jah, shouldest mark iniquities, Lord, who shall stand?

4 ৪ কিন্তু তোমার কাছে ক্ষমা আছে, যেন তুমি শ্রদ্ধা পাও।

But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5 ৫ আমি সদাপ্রভুুর জন্য অপেক্ষা করি; আমার আত্মা অপেক্ষা করে; আমি তাঁর বাক্যে আশা করছি।

I wait for Jehovah; my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6 ৬ প্রহরীরা যেমন সকালের জন্য অপেক্ষা করে, আমার আত্মা তার থেকে বেশী প্রভুর জন্য অপেক্ষা করে।

My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than the watchers [wait] for the morning, [more than] the watchers for the morning.

7 ৭ ইস্রায়েল, সদাপ্রভুুতে আশা কর; সদাপ্রভুু করুণাময় এবং তিনি ক্ষমা করতে খুব ইচ্ছুক।

Let Israel hope in Jehovah, because with Jehovah there is loving-kindness, and with him is plenteous redemption;

8 ৮ এই হলেন তিনি যিনি তার সব পাপ থেকে ইস্রায়েলকে মুক্ত করবেন।

And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
