গীতসংহিতা 119

1 ১ আলেফ। ধন্য তারা, যাদের পথ নির্দোষ, যারা সদাপ্রভুুর ব্যবস্থা পথে চলে।

ALEPH. Happy are they that are upright in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

2 ২ ধন্য তারা, যারা তাঁর বিধিসম্মত আদেশ পালন করে; যারা সমস্ত মন দিয়ে তাঁকে খোঁজে।

Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart.

3 ৩ তারা অন্যায় করে না, তারা তাঁর পথে চলে।

Yea, they do no unrighteousness; they walk in His ways.

4 ৪ তুমি তোমর নির্দেশ পালন করতে আদেশ করেছ, যেন আমরা যত্ন সহকারে তা পালন করি।

Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently.

5 ৫ আহা! যা আমি দৃঢ়ভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করব তোমার সংবিধি পালনে।

Oh that my ways were directed to observe Thy statutes!

6 ৬ তখন আমি লজ্জিত হব না, যখন আমি তোমার আদেশগুলোর বিষয় চিন্তা করি।

Then should I not be ashamed, when I have regard unto all Thy commandments.

7 ৭ যখন আমি তোমার ধর্মময় শাসন শিক্ষা করি, তখন আমি আন্তরিক ভাবে তোমার ধন্যবাদ করব।

I will give thanks unto Thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn Thy righteous ordinances.

8 ৮ আমি তোমার বিধি পালন করব; আমাকে একা ছেড়ে দিও না।

I will observe Thy statutes; O forsake me not utterly.

9 ৯ বৈৎ। যুবক কেমন করে নিজের পথ বিশুদ্ধ রাখবে? তোমার বাক্য পালনের মাধ্যমেই করবে।

BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word.

10 ১০ আমি সমস্ত মন দিয়ে তোমায় খুঁজেছি, আমাকে তোমার আদেশ পথ ছেড়ে ঘুরে বেড়াতে দিও না।

With my whole heart have I sought Thee; O let me not err from Thy commandments.

11 ১১ আমি তোমার বাক্য হৃদয়ে সঞ্চয় করে রেখেছি, যেন আমি তোমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ না করি।

Thy word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.

12 ১২ হে সদাপ্রভুু; তুমি ধন্য, আমাকে তোমার বিধি শেখাও।

Blessed art Thou, O LORD; teach me Thy statutes.

13 ১৩ আমি আমার মুখ দিয়ে তোমার সমস্ত ধর্মময় আদেশ ঘোষণা করেছি যা তুমি প্রকাশ করেছ।

With my lips have I told all the ordinances of Thy mouth.

14 ১৪ সমস্ত ধন সম্পত্তির থেকেও আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ আনন্দ করি।

I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

15 ১৫ আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলোয় ধ্যান করব এবং তোমার পথের প্রতি মনোযোগ দেব।

I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways.

16 ১৬ আমি তোমার বিধিগুলোয় আনন্দ করি, তোমার বাক্য ভুলে যাব না।

I will delight myself in Thy statutes; I will not forget Thy word.

17 ১৭ গিমেল। তোমার দাসের প্রতি দয়াবান হও, যেন আমি বাঁচি এবং তোমার বাক্য পালন করি।

GIMEL. Deal bountifully with Thy servant that I may live, and I will observe Thy word.

18 ১৮ আমার চোখ খুলে দাও, যেন আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থায় আশ্চর্য্য আশ্চর্য্য বিষয় দেখতে পাই।

Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.

19 ১৯ আমি পৃথিবীতে বিদেশী, আমার থেকে তোমার আদেশগুলো লুকিও না।

I am a sojourner in the earth; hide not Thy commandments from me.

20 ২০ আমার প্রাণ সব দিন আকাঙ্ক্ষায় চূর্ণ তোমার ধর্মময় আদেশের জন্য।

My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto Thine ordinances at all times.

21 ২১ তুমি অহঙ্কারীদেরকে ধমক দিয়েছ, যারা অভিশপ্ত, যারা তোমার আদেশ ছেড়ে ঘুরে বেড়ায়।

Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, that do err from Thy commandments.

22 ২২ আমার থেকে দূর্নাম ও অপমান দূর কর, কারণ আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ পালন করেছি।

Take away from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept Thy testimonies.

23 ২৩ যদিও শাসকেরা আমার বিরুদ্ধে চক্রান্ত এবং নিন্দা করেছে; তবুও তোমার দাস তোমার বিধি ধ্যান করে।

Even though princes sit and talk against me, thy servant doth meditate in Thy statutes.

24 ২৪ তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ আমার আনন্দজনক এবং সেগুলি আমার পরামর্শদাতা।

Yea, Thy testimonies are my delight, they are my counsellors.

25 ২৫ দালৎ। আমার প্রাণ ধূলোতে জড়িয়ে আছে, তোমার বাক্য অনুযায়ী আমাকে জীবন দাও।

DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust; quicken Thou me according to Thy word.

26 ২৬ আমি আমার পথের কথা তোমায় বলেছি এবং তুমি আমাকে উত্তর দিয়েছ, তোমার বিধি আমাকে শেখাও।

I told of my ways, and Thou didst answer me; teach me Thy statutes.

27 ২৭ তোমার নির্দেশ আমাকে বুঝিয়ে দাও, যাতে আমি তোমার আশ্চর্য্য শিক্ষা সব ধ্যান করতে পারি।

Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts, that I may talk of Thy wondrous works.

28 ২৮ দুঃখে আমার হৃদয় গলে পড়ছে, তোমার বাক্যে আমাকে ওঠাও।

My soul melteth away for heaviness; sustain me according unto Thy word.

29 ২৯ আমার থেকে মিথ্যার পথ দূর কর, অনুগ্রহ করে আমাকে তোমার ব্যবস্থা শেখাও।

Remove from me the way of falsehood; and grant me Thy law graciously.

30 ৩০ আমি বিশ্বস্ততার পথ মনোনীত করেছি, আমি সব দিন তোমার ধর্মময় আদেশ আমার সামনে রাখেছি।

I have chosen the way of faithfulness; Thine ordinances have I set before me.

31 ৩১ আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ সমূহে জড়িয়ে আছি; সদাপ্রভুু আমাকে লজ্জিত হতে দিও না।

I cleave unto Thy testimonies; O LORD, put me not to shame.

32 ৩২ আমি তোমার আদেশ পথে দৌড়াব, কারণ তুমি তা করতে আমার হৃদয় বড় করেছ।

I will run the way of Thy commandments, for Thou dost enlarge my heart.

33 ৩৩ হে। হে সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার বিধির পথ আমাকে শেখাও, আর আমি শেষ পর্যন্ত তা পালন করব।

HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of Thy statutes; and I will keep it at every step.

34 ৩৪ আমাকে বুদ্ধি দাও এবং আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা পালন করব; আমি আমার সমস্ত হৃদয় দিয়ে তা পালন করব।

Give me understanding, that I keep Thy law and observe it with my whole heart.

35 ৩৫ তোমার আদেশ পথে আমাকে পরিচালনা করাও, কারণ আমি সেই পথে চলতে আনন্দ পাই।

Make me to tread in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

36 ৩৬ তোমার নিয়মের আদেশের দিকে আমার হৃদয়কে পরিচালনা দাও এবং অসৎ লাভের থেকে দূরে রাখ।

Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

37 ৩৭ মন্দ বিষয় থেকে আমার চোখ ফেরাও, আমাকে তোমার পথে পুনরুজ্জীবিত কর।

Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken me in Thy ways.

38 ৩৮ তোমার দাসের জন্য তোমার প্রতিজ্ঞা পূর্ণ কর, যা তুমি তাদের জন্য তৈরী করেছিলে যারা তোমায় সম্মান করে।

Confirm Thy word unto Thy servant, which pertaineth unto the fear of Thee.

39 ৩৯ আমার অপমান দূর কর, যার আমি ভয় করি, কারণ তোমার ধর্মময় আদেশ ভাল।

Turn away my reproach which I dread; for Thine ordinances are good.

40 ৪০ দেখ, আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলোর জন্য আকাঙ্খা করে আসছি; তোমার ধার্ম্মিকতায় আমাকে জীবিত রেখো।

Behold, I have longed after Thy precepts; quicken me in Thy righteousness.

41 ৪১ বৌ। হে সদাপ্রভুু, আমাকে তোমার অক্ষয় ভালবাসা দাও তোমার প্রতিজ্ঞা অনুসারে তোমার পরিত্রান দাও।

VAV. Let Thy mercies also come unto me, O LORD, even Thy salvation, according to Thy word;

42 ৪২ তবে আমি তাদের উত্তর দিতে পারব যারা আমায় উপহাস করে, কারণ আমি তোমার বাক্যে নির্ভর করেছি।

That I may have an answer for him that taunteth me; for I trust in Thy word.

43 ৪৩ আমার মুখ থেকে সত্যের বাক্য নিয়ে নিও না, কারণ আমি তোমার ধর্মময় আদেশের জন্য অপেক্ষা করছি।

And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I hope in Thine ordinances;

44 ৪৪ আমি সব দিন তোমার ব্যবস্থা পালন করব, যুগে যুগে চিরকাল করব।

So shall I observe Thy law continually for ever and ever;

45 ৪৫ আমি নিরাপদে চলব, কারণ আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলোর খোঁজ করেছি।

And I will walk at ease, for I have sought Thy precepts;

46 ৪৬ আমি রাজাদের সামনে তোমার গুরত্বপূর্ণ আদেশের কথা বলব এবং লজ্জিত হব না।

I will also speak of Thy testimonies before kings, and will not be ashamed.

47 ৪৭ আমি তোমার আদেশগুলোয় আনন্দ করব, যা আমি ভীষণ ভালবাসি।

And I will delight myself in Thy commandments, which I have loved.

48 ৪৮ আমি তোমার আদেশগুলোর কাছে অঞ্জলি ওঠাব, যা আমি ভালবাসি; আমি তোমার বিধি ধ্যান করব।

I will lift up my hands also unto Thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in Thy statutes.

49 ৪৯ সয়িন। তোমার দাসের জন্য তোমার প্রতিজ্ঞা স্মরণ কর, কারণ তুমি আমাকে আশা দিয়েছ।

ZAIN. Remember the word unto Thy servant, because Thou hast made me to hope.

50 ৫০ আমার দুঃখে এটাই আমার সান্ত্বনা: যে তোমার প্রতিজ্ঞা আমাকে বাঁচিয়ে রেখেছে।

This is my comfort in my affliction, that Thy word hath quickened me.

51 ৫১ অহঙ্কারীরা আমাকে বিদ্রূপ করেছে, তবুও আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা থেকে ফিরিনি।

The proud have had me greatly in derision; yet have I not turned aside from Thy law.

52 ৫২ হে সদাপ্রভুু, আমি প্রাচীনকাল থেকে তোমার ধর্মময় আদেশ শিখছি, আর সান্ত্বনা পেয়েছি।

I have remembered Thine ordinances which are of old, O LORD, and have comforted myself.

53 ৫৩ আমার ক্রোধ জ্বলে উঠেছে, পাপীদের জন্য যারা তোমার ব্যবস্থা অগ্রাহ্য করে।

Burning indignation hath taken hold upon me, because of the wicked that forsake Thy law.

54 ৫৪ তোমার বিধি আমার গান হয়েছে যেখানে আমি অস্থায়ীভাবে বাস করি।

Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

55 ৫৫ হে সদাপ্রভুু, আমি রাতে তোমার নামের বিষয়ে চিন্তা করি এবং আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা পালন করি।

I have remembered Thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have observed Thy law.

56 ৫৬ এটাই আমার অভ্যাস কারণ আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলো পালন করেছি।

This I have had, that I have kept Thy precepts.

57 ৫৭ হেৎ। সদাপ্রভুু আমার অধিকার; আমি দৃঢ়প্রতিজ্ঞ তোমার বাক্য সকল পালনে।

HETH. My portion is the LORD, I have said that I would observe Thy words.

58 ৫৮ আমি সমস্ত হৃদয় দিয়ে আন্তরিকভাবে অনুরোধ করি তোমার দয়া পাবার; তোমার প্রতিজ্ঞা অনুযায়ী, আমার প্রতি কৃপা কর।

I have entreated Thy favour with my whole heart; be gracious unto me according to Thy word.

59 ৫৯ আমি আমার পথ পরীক্ষা করেছি এবং তোমার নিয়মের আদেশের দিকে আমার চরণ ফিরিয়েছি।

I considered my ways, and turned my feet unto Thy testimonies.

60 ৬০ আমি তাড়াতাড়ি করলাম এবং তোমার আদেশগুলো পালনে দেরী করলাম না।

I made haste, and delayed not, to observe Thy commandments.

61 ৬১ পাপীদের দড়ি আমাকে ফাঁদে ফেলেছে, আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা ভুলে যাই নি।

The bands of the wicked have enclosed me; but I have not forgotten Thy law.

62 ৬২ আমি মাঝ রাত্রে তোমার ধন্যবাদ করতে উঠি, তোমার ন্যায় বিধানের জন্য।

At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto Thee because of Thy righteous ordinances.

63 ৬৩ আমি সেই সকলের সঙ্গী যারা তোমাকে সম্মান করে এবং যারা তোমার নির্দেশগুলো পালন করে।

I am a companion of all them that fear Thee, and of them that observe Thy precepts.

64 ৬৪ হে সদাপ্রভুু, পৃথিবী তোমার চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততায় পরিপূর্ণ; আমাকে তোমার বিধির শিক্ষা দাও।

The earth, O LORD, is full of Thy mercy; teach me Thy statutes.

65 ৬৫ টেট। হে সদাপ্রভুু, তুমি তোমার দাসের মঙ্গল করেছ, তোমার বাক্যানুসারে করেছ।

TETH. Thou hast dealt well with Thy servant, O LORD, according unto Thy word.

66 ৬৬ আমাকে সঠিক বিচারশক্তি এবং বুদ্ধি শেখাও, কারণ আমি তোমার আদেশগুলোয় বিশ্বাস করেছি।

Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed Thy commandments.

67 ৬৭ দুঃখ পাওয়ার আগে আমি ভ্রান্ত ছিলাম, কিন্তু এখন আমি তোমার বাক্য পালন করছি।

Before I was afflicted, I did err; but now I observe Thy word.

68 ৬৮ তুমি মঙ্গলময় এবং তুমি সেই যিনি মঙ্গল কাজ করেন, তোমার বিধি আমাকে শেখাও।

Thou art good, and doest good; teach me Thy statutes.

69 ৬৯ অহঙ্কারীরা আমার বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা কথা বলেছে, কিন্তু আমি সমস্ত হৃদয় দিয়ে তোমার নির্দেশ পালন করেছি।

The proud have forged a lie against me; but I with my whole heart will keep Thy precepts.

70 ৭০ তাদের হৃদয়ে সত্যতা নেই; কিন্তু আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থায় আনন্দ করি।

Their heart is gross like fat; but I delight in Thy law.

71 ৭১ এটা আমার জন্য ভাল যে আমি দুঃখ ভোগ করেছি, যেন আমি তোমার বিধি শিখতে পারি।

It is good for me that I have been afflicted, in order that I might learn Thy statutes.

72 ৭২ হাজার হাজার সোনা ও রূপার চেয়ে তোমার মুখের নির্দেশ আমার জন্য মহা মূল্যবান।

The law of Thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

73 ৭৩ ইয়োদ। তোমার হাত আমার গঠন ও স্থাপন করছে; আমাকে বুদ্ধি দাও, যেন আমি তোমার আদেশ সকল শিখতে পারি।

JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding, that I may learn Thy commandments.

74 ৭৪ যারা তোমাকে সম্মান করে, তারা আমাকে দেখে গর্বিত হবে, কারণ আমি তোমরা বাক্যে আশা পাই।

They that fear Thee shall see me and be glad, because I have hope in Thy word.

75 ৭৫ হে সদাপ্রভুু, আমি জানি তোমার আদেশ ন্যায্য এবং তুমি বিশ্বস্ততায় আমাকে দুঃখ দিয়েছ।

I know, O LORD, that Thy judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me.

76 ৭৬ তোমার চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততা আমায় সান্ত্বনা দিক, যেমন তুমি তোমার দাসকে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছ।

Let, I pray Thee, Thy lovingkindness be ready to comfort me, according to Thy promise unto Thy servant.

77 ৭৭ আমার প্রতি করুণা কর, যেন আমি বাঁচি; কারণ তোমার ব্যবস্থা আমার আনন্দদায়ক।

Let Thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for Thy law is my delight.

78 ৭৮ অহঙ্কারীদের লজ্জায় ফেলা হোক, কারণ তারা আমার নিন্দা করেছে; কিন্তু আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলোয় ধ্যান করব।

Let the proud be put to shame, for they have distorted my cause with falsehood; but I will meditate in Thy precepts.

79 ৭৯ যারা তোমাকে সম্মান করে, তারা আমার দিকে ফিরুক, তারা যারা তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ জানে তারা ফিরুক।

Let those that fear Thee return unto me, and they that know Thy testimonies.

80 ৮০ আমার হৃদয় তোমার বিধিতে নির্দোষ হোক, যেন আমি লজ্জায় না পড়ি।

Let my heart be undivided in Thy statutes, in order that I may not be put to shame.

81 ৮১ কফ। আমি তোমার পরিত্রানের আকাঙ্খা করি, আমি তোমার বাক্যে আমার আশা রেখেছি।

CAPH. My soul pineth for Thy salvation; in Thy word do I hope.

82 ৮২ আমার চোখ তোমার প্রতিজ্ঞা দেখার আকাঙ্খা করে; কখন তুমি আমাকে সান্ত্বনা করবে?

Mine eyes fail for Thy word, saying: 'When wilt Thou comfort me?'

83 ৮৩ কারণ আমি ধোঁয়ায় ভরা দ্রাক্ষার থলির মত হয়েছি; আমি তোমার বিধি ভুলে যাই নি।

For I am become like a wine-skin in the smoke; yet do I not forget Thy statutes.

84 ৮৪ কত দিন তোমার দাস এসব সহ্য করবে? কবে তুমি আমার তাড়নাকারীদের বিচার করবে?

How many are the days of Thy servant? When wilt Thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

85 ৮৫ অহঙ্কারীরা আমার জন্য গর্ত খুঁড়েছে, তারা তোমার ব্যবস্থার নিন্দা করে।

The proud have digged pits for me, which is not according to Thy law.

86 ৮৬ তোমার সমস্ত আদেশ বিশ্বসনীয়; যে সমস্ত লোক আমাকে অন্যায়ভাবে অত্যাচার করে; আমায় সাহায্য কর।

All Thy commandments are faithful; they persecute me for nought; help Thou me.

87 ৮৭ তারা পৃথিবীতে আমাকে প্রায় শেষ করে ফেলেছিল, কিন্তু আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলো ত্যাগ করিনি।

They had almost consumed me upon earth; but as for me, I forsook not Thy precepts.

88 ৮৮ যেমন তোমার চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততার প্রতিজ্ঞা অনুসারে আমাকে জীবিত রাখো, যাতে আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ পালন করতে পারি যা তুমি বলেছ।

Quicken me after Thy lovingkindness, and I will observe the testimony of Thy mouth.

89 ৮৯ লামদ। হে সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার বাক্য অনন্তকাল স্থায়ী, তোমার বাক্য স্বর্গে দৃঢ় ভাবে স্থাপিত।

LAMED. For ever, O LORD, Thy word standeth fast in heaven.

90 ৯০ তোমার বিশ্বস্ততা পুরুষে পুরুষে স্থায়ী; তুমি পৃথিবীকে স্থাপন করেছ এবং তা স্থির থাকে।

Thy faithfulness is unto all generations; Thou hast established the earth, and it standeth.

91 ৯১ সমস্ত কিছুই আজ পর্যন্ত স্থির রয়েছে, যেমন তুমি বলেছ তোমার ন্যায় বিধানে, কারণ সমস্ত কিছুই তোমার দাস।

They stand this day according to Thine ordinances; for all things are Thy servants.

92 ৯২ যদি তোমার ব্যবস্থা আমার আনন্দদায়ক না হত, তবে আমি আপন দুঃখে ধ্বংস হতাম।

Unless Thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

93 ৯৩ আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলো কখনও ভুলে যাব না, কারণ তার দ্বারাই তুমি আমাকে জীবিত রেখেছ।

I will never forget Thy precepts; for with them Thou hast quickened me.

94 ৯৪ আমি তোমারই, আমাকে রক্ষা কর; কারণ আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলো অন্বেষণ করি।

I am Thine, save me; for I have sought Thy precepts.

95 ৯৫ পাপীরা আমাকে ধ্বংস করার জন্য প্রস্তুত; কিন্তু আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ বোঝার চেষ্টা করব।

The wicked have waited for me to destroy me; but I will consider Thy testimonies.

96 ৯৬ আমি দেখেছি যে সমস্ত কিছুরই সীমা আছে; কিন্তু তোমার আদেশ এটি মহান, অপরিসীম।

I have seen an end to every purpose; but Thy commandment is exceeding broad.

97 ৯৭ মেম। আহা, আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা কেমন ভালবাসি। এটা সমস্ত দিন আমার ধ্যানের বিষয়।

MEM. O how love I Thy law! It is my meditation all the day.

98 ৯৮ তোমার আদেশ আমাকে শত্রুর থেকেও জ্ঞানবান করে; কারণ তোমার আদেশ চিরকাল আমার সঙ্গে আছে।

Thy commandments make me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

99 ৯৯ আমার বেশি বুদ্ধি আমার সমস্ত গুরুর থেকে, কারণ আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশের ধ্যান করি।

I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Thy testimonies are my (meditation)

100 ১০০ প্রাচীন লোকদের থেকেও আমি বেশি বুদ্ধিমান, তার কারণ আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলো পালন করেছি।

I understand more than mine elders, because I have keep Thy precepts.

101 ১০১ আমি সমস্ত কুপথ থেকে আমার পা দূরে রেখেছি, যেন আমি তোমার বাক্য পালন করি।

I have refrained my feet from every evil way, in order that I might observe Thy word.

102 ১০২ আমি তোমার ন্যায় বিধান থেকে ফিরি নি, কারণ তুমিই আমাকে নির্দেশ দিয়েছ।

I have not turned aside from Thine ordinances; for Thou hast instructed me.

103 ১০৩ তোমার বাক্য সকল আমার মুখে কেমন মিষ্ট লাগে! তা আমার মুখে মধুর থেকে মিষ্টি।

How sweet are Thy words unto my palate! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104 ১০৪ তোমার নির্দেশগুলোর দ্বারাই আমার বুদ্ধি লাভ হয়। সেইজন্য আমি সমস্ত মিথ্যা পথ ঘৃণা করি।

From Thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

105 ১০৫ নুন। তোমার বাক্য আমার চরনের প্রদীপ, আমার পথের আলো।

NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

106 ১০৬ আমি শপথ করেছি এবং স্থির করেছি, যে আমি তোমার বিধি পালন করব।

I have sworn, and have confirmed it, to observe Thy righteous ordinances.

107 ১০৭ হে সদাপ্রভুু, আমি খুব দুঃখার্ত্ত; তোমার বাক্যের প্রতিজ্ঞা অনুযায়ী আমাকে জীবিত রেখ।

I am afflicted very much; quicken me, O LORD, according unto Thy word.

108 ১০৮ সদাপ্রভুু, দয়া করে আমার মুখের স্বেচ্ছা দত্ত উপহার সকল গ্রহণ কর এবং তোমার ন্যায় বিধান আমাকে শেখাও।

Accept, I beseech Thee, the freewill-offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me Thine ordinances.

109 ১০৯ আমার প্রাণ সবদিন বিপদে থাকে, তবুও আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা ভুলে যাই নি।

My soul is continually in my hand; yet have I not forgotten Thy law.

110 ১১০ পাপীরা আমার জন্য ফাঁদ পেতেছে, কিন্তু আমি তোমার নির্দেশ থেকে দূরে সরে যাই নি।

The wicked have laid a snare for me; yet went I not astray from Thy precepts.

111 ১১১ আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ আমার দাবি বলে অধিকার করেছি, কারণ সেগুলো আমার হৃদয়ের আনন্দ।

Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

112 ১১২ আমার হৃদয় তোমার বিধি মেনে চলতে স্থির হয়েছে, চিরকালের জন্য, শেষ পর্যন্ত।

I have inclined my heart to perform Thy statutes, for ever, at every step.

113 ১১৩ সামক। আমি দ্বিমনা লোকেদের ঘৃণা করি, কিন্তু তোমার ব্যবস্থা ভালবাসি।

SAMECH. I hate them that are of a double mind; but Thy law do I love.

114 ১১৪ তুমি আমার লুকানোর জায়গা ও আমার ঢাল; আমি তোমার বাক্যের জন্য অপেক্ষা করি।

Thou art my covert and my shield; in Thy word do I hope.

115 ১১৫ মন্দ কাজকরীরা, আমার কাছ থেকে দূর হও; যাতে আমি আমার ঈশ্বরের আদেশ সকল পালন করতে পারি।

Depart from me, ye evildoers; that I may keep the commandments of my God.

116 ১১৬ তোমার বাক্যে আমাকে ধরে রাখ যাতে আমি বাঁচি এবং আমাকে আমার আশায় লজ্জিত হতে দিও না।

Uphold me according unto Thy word, that I may live; and put me not to shame in my hope.

117 ১১৭ আমাকে তুলে ধর এবং আমি উদ্ধার পাব; আমি সব দিন তোমার বিধি ধ্যান করব।

Support Thou me, and I shall be saved; and I will occupy myself with Thy statutes continually.

118 ১১৮ তুমি তাদের সকলকে অগ্রাহ্য করেছ, যারা তোমার বিধি ছেড়ে চলে গেছে; কারণ সেই সমস্ত লোকেরা প্রতারক এবং অবিশ্বস্ত।

Thou hast made light of all them that err from Thy statutes; for their deceit is vain.

119 ১১৯ তুমি পৃথিবীর সমস্ত পাপীদেরকে মলের মত দূর করে থাক, এই জন্য আমি তোমরা ন্যায় বিধান ভালবাসি।

Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross; therefore I love Thy testimonies.

120 ১২০ তোমার ভয়ে আমার শরীর রোমাঞ্চিত হয়, তোমার শাসনকলাপে আমি ভীত।

My flesh shuddereth for fear of Thee; and I am afraid of Thy judgments.

121 ১২১ অয়িন। যা কিছু ন্যায্য এবং সঠিক আমি করি; আমাকে আমার উপদ্রবকারীদের হাতে ছেড়ে দিও না।

AIN. I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to mine oppressors.

122 ১২২ তুমি তোমার দাসের মঙ্গল নিশ্চিত কর, অহঙ্কারীরা আমার ওপর উপদ্রব না করুক।

Be surety for Thy servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.

123 ১২৩ তোমার পরিত্রানের অপেক্ষায় এবং তোমার ধর্মময় বাক্যের জন্য আমার চোখ ক্লান্ত হয়েছে।

Mine eyes fail for Thy salvation, and for Thy righteous word.

124 ১২৪ তোমার দাসকে তোমার চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততা দেখাও এবং আমাকে তোমার বিধি শেখাও।

Deal with Thy servant according unto Thy mercy, and teach me Thy statutes.

125 ১২৫ আমি তোমার দাস, আমাকে বুদ্ধি দাও, যেন আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশগুলো জানতে পারি।

I am Thy servant, give me understanding, that I may know Thy testimonies.

126 ১২৬ সদাপ্রভুুর কাজ করবার দিন হল, কারণ লোকেরা তোমার ব্যবস্থা খণ্ডন করেছে।

It is time for the LORD to work; they have made void Thy law.

127 ১২৭ সত্যি আমি তোমার আদেশ সকল ভালবাসি, সোনার থেকেও, বিশুদ্ধ সোনার থেকেও ভালবাসি।

Therefore I love Thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.

128 ১২৮ এই জন্য আমি সাবধানে তোমার সমস্ত নির্দেশ অনুসরণ করি এবং আমি সমস্ত মিথ্যার পথ ঘৃণা করি।

Therefore I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right; every false way I hate.

129 ১২৯ পে। তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ আশ্চর্য্য, এই জন্য আমি সেগুলো পালন করি।

PE. Thy testimonies are wonderful; therefore doth my soul keep them.

130 ১৩০ তোমার প্রকাশিত বাক্য আলো দান করে; তা সরলদের বুদ্ধি দান করে।

The opening of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

131 ১৩১ আমি মুখ খুলে শ্বাস ফেলছিলাম, কারণ আমি তোমার আদেশগুলোর আকাঙ্খা করছিলাম।

I opened wide my mouth, and panted; for I longed for Thy commandments.

132 ১৩২ আমার দিকে ফের এবং আমায় দয়া কর, যেমন তুমি সব দিন করে থাক তাদের জন্য যারা তোমার নাম ভালবাসে।

Turn Thee towards me, and be gracious unto me, as is Thy wont to do unto those that love Thy name.

133 ১৩৩ তোমার বাক্য দ্বারা আমার চরণকে পরিচালনা দাও; কোন পাপকে আমার উপরে কর্তৃত্ব করতে দিও না।

Order my footsteps by Thy word; and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

134 ১৩৪ মানুষের উপদ্রব থেকে আমাকে উদ্ধার কর, যাতে আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলো পালন করতে পারি।

Redeem me from the oppression of man, and I will observe Thy precepts.

135 ১৩৫ তোমার দাসের ওপর তোমার মুখ উজ্জ্বল হোক এবং তোমার বিধি সকল আমাকে শেখাও।

Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant; and teach me Thy statutes.

136 ১৩৬ আমার চোখ থেকে জলধারা বইছে, কারণ লোকেরা তোমার ব্যবস্থা পালন করে না।

Mine eyes run down with rivers of water, because they observe not Thy law.

137 ১৩৭ সাদে। হে সদাপ্রভুু, তুমি ধার্মিক এবং তোমার আদেশ সকল ন্যায্য।

TZADE. Righteous art Thou, O LORD, and upright are Thy judgments.

138 ১৩৮ তুমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ ধার্ম্মিকতায় এবং বিশ্বস্ততায় দিয়েছ।

Thou hast commanded Thy testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.

139 ১৩৯ রাগ আমাকে ধ্বংস করেছে, কারণ আমার বিপক্ষেরা তোমার বাক্য সকল ভুলে গেছে।

My zeal hath undone me, because mine adversaries have forgotten Thy words.

140 ১৪০ তোমার বাক্য খুবই পরীক্ষাসিদ্ধ এবং তোমার দাস তা ভালবাসে।

Thy word is tried to the uttermost, and Thy servant loveth it.

141 ১৪১ আমি তুচ্ছ ও অবজ্ঞাত, তবুও আমি তোমার নির্দেশ সকল ভুলে যাই নি।

I am small and despised; yet have I not forgotten Thy precepts.

142 ১৪২ তোমার ন্যায়বিচার চিরকাল সঠিক এবং তোমার ব্যবস্থা বিশ্বসনীয়।

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is the truth.

143 ১৪৩ যদিও চরম দূর্দশা ও যন্ত্রণা আমাকে পেয়ে বসেছে, [তবুও] তোমার আদেশ সকল আমার আনন্দদায়ক।

Trouble and anguish have overtaken me; yet Thy commandments are my delight.

144 ১৪৪ তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ চিরকাল ধর্মময়; আমাকে বুদ্ধি দাও, যাতে আমি বাঁচি।

Thy testimonies are righteous for ever; give me understanding, and I shall live.

145 ১৪৫ হে সদাপ্রভুু, আমি সমস্ত হৃদয় দিয়ে ডেকেছি; আমাকে উত্তর দাও, আমি তোমার বিধি পালন করব।

KOPH. I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O LORD; I will keep Thy statutes.

146 ১৪৬ আমি তোমাকে ডেকেছি; আমাকে রক্ষা কর এবং আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ পালন করব।

I have called Thee, save me, and I will observe Thy testimonies.

147 ১৪৭ আমি ভোরের আগে উঠি এবং সাহায্যের জন্য চিত্কার করি, আমি তোমার বাক্যে সকলে আশা রাখি।

I rose early at dawn, and cried; I hoped in Thy word.

148 ১৪৮ আমার চোখ সারা রাত খোলা ছিল, যেন আমি তোমার বাক্য ধ্যান করতে পারি।

Mine eyes forestalled the night-watches, that I might meditate in Thy word.

149 ১৪৯ তোমার চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততা অনুসারে আমার রব শোন; হে সদাপ্রভুু, আমাকে জীবিত রাখ, যেমন তুমি প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছ তোমার ন্যায় বিধানে।

Hear my voice according unto Thy lovingkindness; quicken me, O LORD, as Thou art wont.

150 ১৫০ যারা আমায় অত্যাচার করেছে তারা আমার কাছে আসছে; কিন্তু তারা তোমার ব্যবস্থা থেকে অনেক দূরে।

They draw nigh that follow after wickedness; they are far from Thy law.

151 ১৫১ হে সদাপ্রভুু, তুমিই নিকটবর্ত্তী এবং তোমার সমস্ত আদেশ বিশ্বস্ত।

Thou art nigh, O LORD; and all Thy commandments are truth.

152 ১৫২ অনেক আগে আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ জেনেছি, যা তুমি চিরকালের জন্য স্থাপন করেছ।

Of old have I known from Thy testimonies that Thou hast founded them for ever.

153 ১৫৩ রেশ। আমার দুঃখ দেখ এবং আমাকে সাহায্য কর, কারণ আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা ভুলে যাই নি।

RESH. O see mine affliction, and rescue me; for I do not forget Thy law.

154 ১৫৪ আমার বিবাদ মেটাও এবং আমাকে মুক্ত কর, আমাকে জীবিত রাখ, যেমন তুমি তোমার বাক্যে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছ।

Plead Thou my cause, and redeem me; quicken me according to Thy word.

155 ১৫৫ পরিত্রান পাপীদের থেকে দূরে, কারণ তারা তোমার বিধি সকল ভালবাসে না।

Salvation is far from the wicked; for they seek not Thy statutes.

156 ১৫৬ হে সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার করুণার কার্য্য মহান; আমাকে জীবিত রাখ, যেমন তুমি সবদিন করে থাক।

Great are Thy compassions, O LORD; quicken me as Thou art wont.

157 ১৫৭ আমার তাড়নাকারী ও শত্রু অনেক, তবুও আমি তোমার নিয়মের আদেশ থেকে ফিরি নি।

Many are my persecutors and mine adversaries; yet have I not turned aside from Thy testimonies.

158 ১৫৮ আমি বিশ্বাসঘাতকদেরকে ঘৃণা ভাবে দেখলাম, কারণ তারা তোমার বাক্য পালন করে না।

I beheld them that were faithless, and strove with them; because they observed not Thy word.

159 ১৫৯ দেখ, আমি তোমার নির্দেশগুলো কেমন ভালবাসি। সদাপ্রভুু, আমাকে জীবিত রাখ, যেমন তুমি তোমার চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততায় প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছ।

O see how I love Thy precepts; quicken me, O LORD, according to Thy lovingkindness.

160 ১৬০ তোমার সমস্ত বাক্য সত্য, তোমার প্রত্যেকটি আদেশ চিরস্থায়ী।

The beginning of Thy word is truth; and all Thy righteous ordinance endureth for ever.

161 ১৬১ শিন। শাসকেরা অকারণে আমাকে অত্যাচার করেছে, আমার হৃদয় কাঁপে, তোমার বাক্যের অবাধ্য হতে ভয় লাগে।

SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; but my heart standeth in awe of Thy words.

162 ১৬২ আমি তোমার বাক্যে আনন্দ করি, যেমন কেউ মহা লুট পেলে করে।

I rejoice at Thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

163 ১৬৩ আমি মিথ্যাকে ঘৃণা ও অবজ্ঞা করি, কিন্তু আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা ভালবাসি।

I hate and abhor falsehood; Thy law do I love.

164 ১৬৪ আমি দিনের সাতবার তোমার প্রশংসা করি, তোমার ন্যায় বিধানের জন্য।

Seven times a day do I praise Thee, because of Thy righteous ordinances.

165 ১৬৫ যারা তোমার ব্যবস্থা ভালবাসে, তাদের মহা শান্তি; তাদের হোঁচট লাগে না।

Great peace have they that love Thy law; and there is no stumbling for them.

166 ১৬৬ সদাপ্রভুু, আমি তোমার পরিত্রানের অপেক্ষা করছি এবং আমি তোমার আদেশের বাধ্য হয়েছি।

I have hoped for Thy salvation, O LORD, and have done Thy commandments.

167 ১৬৭ আমি তোমার আদেশ পালন করেছি এবং আমি সেগুলো খুব ভালবাসি।

My soul hath observed Thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

168 ১৬৮ আমি তোমার নির্দেশ ও আদেশ পালন করেছি; কারণ আমি যা কিছু করি তুমি তা জানো।

I have observed Thy precepts and Thy testimonies; for all my ways are before Thee.

169 ১৬৯ তোঁ। সদাপ্রভুু, আমার আর্তনাদ তোমার কাছে উপস্থিত হোক, তোমার বাক্য অনুসারে আমাকে বুদ্ধি দাও।

TAV. Let my cry come near before Thee, O LORD; give me understanding according to Thy word.

170 ১৭০ আমার বিনতি তোমার সামনে উপস্থিত হোক, যেমন তুমি তোমার বাক্যে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছ, আমাকে সাহায্য কর।

Let my supplication come before Thee; deliver me according to Thy word.

171 ১৭১ আমার ঠোঁট তোমার প্রশংসা করুক, কারণ তুমি আমাকে তোমার বিধি সকল শিক্ষা দিচ্ছ।

Let my lips utter praise: because Thou teachest me Thy statutes.

172 ১৭২ আমার জিভ তোমার বাক্যের বিষয় গান করুক, কারণ তোমার সমস্ত আদেশ ন্যায্য।

Let my tongue sing of Thy word; for all Thy commandments are righteousness.

173 ১৭৩ তোমার হাত আমায় সাহায্য করুক; কারণ আমি তোমার নির্দেশ মনোনীত করেছি।

Let Thy hand be ready to help me; for I have chosen Thy precepts.

174 ১৭৪ সদাপ্রভুু, আমি তোমার পরিত্রানের আকাঙ্খা করেছি এবং তোমার ব্যবস্থা আমার আনন্দ দায়ক।

I have longed for Thy salvation, O LORD; and Thy law is my delight.

175 ১৭৫ আমার জীবিত থাকি এবং তোমার গৌরব করি; তোমার ন্যায় বিধান আমায় সাহায্য করুক;

Let my soul live, and it shall praise Thee; and let Thine ordinances help me.

176 ১৭৬ আমি হারানো মেষের মত হয়েছি; তোমার দাসের অন্বেষণ কর; কারণ আমি তোমার আদেশ সকল ভুলে যাই নি।

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Thy servant; for I have not forgotten Thy commandments.
