1 ১ প্রশংসা কর সদাপ্রভুুর, ধন্যবাদ দাও সদাপ্রভুুকে, কারণ তিনি মঙ্গলময়, তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততার নিয়ম অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।

Alleluya. Kouleche ye to the Lord, for he is good; for his mercy is with outen ende.

2 ২ কে সদাপ্রভুুর বিক্রমের কাজ সব গণনা করতে পারে? কে তাঁর সব প্রশংসনীয় কাজ প্রচার করতে পারে?

Who schal speke the powers of the Lord; schal make knowun alle hise preisyngis?

3 ৩ ধন্য তারা, যারা ন্যায় রক্ষা করে এবং যারা সব দিন যথাযথ কাজ করে।

Blessid ben thei that kepen dom; and doon riytfulnesse in al tyme.

4 ৪ সদাপ্রভুু, যখন তোমার লোকেদের ওপর অনুগ্রহ দেখাও তখন আমাকে মনে রেখো; আমাকে সাহায্য কর যখন তাদের রক্ষা কর।

Lord, haue thou mynde on vs in the good plesaunce of thi puple; visite thou vs in thin heelthe.

5 ৫ তখন আমি তোমার মনোনীতদের মঙ্গল দেখবো, যেন তোমার জাতির আনন্দে আনন্দ করি এবং তোমার অধিকারের সঙ্গে গৌরব করি।

To se in the goodnesse of thi chosun men, to be glad in the gladnes of thi folk; that thou be heried with thin eritage.

6 ৬ আমরা পাপ করেছি আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের মতো, আমরা অন্যায় করেছি এবং অধর্ম্ম করেছি।

We han synned with oure fadris; we han do vniustli, we han do wickidnesse.

7 ৭ আমাদের মিশরে তোমার পূর্বপুরুষরা আশ্চর্য্য কাজ সব বোঝেনি; তারা তোমার কাজের বিশ্বস্ত বিধি অগ্রাহ্য করল তারা সমুদ্রতীরে, লোহিত সাগরে, তারা বিদ্রোহ করল।

Oure fadris in Egipt vndirstoden not thi merueils; thei weren not myndeful of the multitude of thi merci. And thei stiynge in to the see, in to the reed see, terreden to wraththe;

8 ৮ তবুও তিনি তাঁর নামের জন্য তাদেরকে পরিত্রান দিলেন, তাতে তিনি তাঁর শক্তি প্রকাশ করলেন।

and he sauede hem for his name, that `he schulde make knowun his power.

9 ৯ তিনি লোহিত সাগরকে ধমক দিলেন এবং তা শুকিয়ে গেল, তারপর তিনি তাদেরকে গভীরের মধ্য দিয়ে নিয়ে গেলেন যেমন প্রান্তর দিয়ে যায়।

And he departide the reed see, and it was dried; and he lede forth hem in the depthis of watris as in deseert.

10 ১০ তিনি যারা তাদেরকে কারণ করে তাদের হাত থেকে তাদেরকে বাঁচালেন এবং শত্রুর শক্তি থেকে তাদেরকে উদ্ধার করলেন;

And he sauede hem fro the hond of hateris; and he ayen bouyte hem fro the hond of the enemye.

11 ১১ কিন্তু জল তাদের বিপক্ষদের ঢেকে দিল, তাদের একজনও বাঁচল না।

And the watir hilide men troublynge hem; oon of hem abood not.

12 ১২ তারপর তারা তাঁর বাক্যে বিশ্বাস করল এবং তাঁর প্রশংসা গান করল।

And thei bileueden to hise wordis; and thei preisiden the heriynge of hym.

13 ১৩ কিন্তু তারা তাড়াতাড়ি ভুলে গেল তিনি যা করেছিলেন; তারা তাঁর নির্দেশের অপেক্ষা করলো না।

Thei hadden `soone do, thei foryaten hise werkis; and thei abididen not his councel.

14 ১৪ কিন্তু প্রান্তরে অত্যন্ত লোভ করল এবং মরুপ্রান্তে ঈশ্বরের পরীক্ষা করল।

And thei coueitiden coueitise in deseert; and temptiden God in a place with out watir.

15 ১৫ তিনি তাদের অনুরোধ রক্ষা করলেন কিন্তু রোগ পাঠালেন যা তাদের শরীরে ঢুকল।

And he yaf to hem the axyng of hem; and he sente fulnesse in to the soulis of hem.

16 ১৬ তারা শিবিরের মধ্যে মোশি এবং হারোণ সদাপ্রভুুর পবিত্র যাজকের ওপর বিরক্ত হল।

And thei wraththiden Moyses in the castels; Aaron, the hooli of the Lord.

17 ১৭ ভূমি ফাটল এবং দাথনকে গিলে নিলো, অবীরামের অনুগামীদের ঢেকে দিলো।

The erthe was opened, and swolewid Datan; and hilide on the congregacioun of Abiron.

18 ১৮ তাদের মধ্যে আগুন জ্বলে উঠল; আগুনের শিখা দুষ্টদের পুড়িয়ে দিলো।

And fier brente an hiye in the synagoge of hem; flawme brente synneris.

19 ১৯ তারা হোরেবে এক গরুর বাচ্চা তৈরী করল, ধাতুর তৈরী মূর্তির কাছে আরাধনা করল।

And thei maden a calf in Oreb; and worschipiden a yotun ymage.

20 ২০ তারা ঈশ্বরের মহিমায় ব্যবসা করল ঘাস খাওয়া গরুর মূর্ত্তি নিয়ে।

And thei chaungiden her glorie; in to the liknesse of a calf etynge hei.

21 ২১ তারা তাদের ত্রাণকর্ত্তা ঈশ্বরকে ভুলে গেল, যিনি মিশরে মহৎ কাজ করেছিলেন;

Thei foryaten God, that sauede hem, that dide grete werkis in Egipt,

22 ২২ তিনি হামের দেশে নানা আশ্চর্য্য কাজ করলেন এবং লোহিত সাগরের ধারে নানা ভয়ঙ্কর কাজ করলেন।

merueils in the lond of Cham; feerdful thingis in the reed see.

23 ২৩ তিনি তাদের ধ্বংসের জন্য আদেশ জারি করলেন তার মনোনীত মোশি তাঁর সামনে ভঙ্গ জায়গায় দাঁড়ালেন তাঁর রাগ দূর করার জন্য যাতে তিনি তাদেরকে ধ্বংস না করেন।

And God seide, that he wolde leese hem; if Moises, his chosun man, hadde not stonde in the brekyng of his siyt. That he schulde turne awei his ire; lest he loste hem.

24 ২৪ তারপর তারা উর্বর দেশকে তুচ্ছ করল, তারা তাঁর প্রতিশ্রুতি বিশ্বাস করল না;

And thei hadden the desirable lond for nouyt, thei bileueden not to his word, and thei grutchiden in her tabernaclis;

25 ২৫ কিন্তু তাঁবুর মধ্যে অভিযোগ করল এবং সদাপ্রভুুকে মান্য করল না।

thei herden not the vois of the Lord.

26 ২৬ তাই তিনি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে শপথ করলেন যে তারা মরূপ্রান্তরে মারা যাক।

And he reiside his hond on hem; to caste doun hem in desert.

27 ২৭ আমি তাদের বংশকে জাতিদের মধ্য থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করবো এবং তাদেরকে অন্য দেশে ছিন্নভিন্ন করব।

And to caste awei her seed in naciouns; and to leese hem in cuntreis.

28 ২৮ তাঁরা বাল-পিয়োরের আরাধনা করল এবং মড়াদের বলি খেলো।

And thei maden sacrifice to Belfagor; and thei eeten the sacrificis of deed beestis.

29 ২৯ তারা তাদের কাজের দ্বারা তাঁকে অসন্তুষ্ট করল এবং তাদের মধ্যে মহামারী দেখা দিল।

And thei wraththiden God in her fyndyngis; and fallyng was multiplied in hem.

30 ৩০ তখন পিনহস দাঁড়িয়ে হস্তক্ষেপ করলেন এবং তাতে মহামারী প্রশমিত হল।

And Fynees stood, and pleeside God; and the veniaunce ceesside.

31 ৩১ এটা তাঁর পক্ষে ধার্ম্মিকতা বলে গণ্য হল সব প্রজন্ম চিরকালের জন্য।

And it was arrettid to hym to riytfulnesse; in generacioun and in to generacioun, til in to with outen ende.

32 ৩২ তারা মরীবার জলসমীপেও ঈশ্বরের রাগ জন্মাল এবং তাদের জন্য মোশির কষ্টহল

And thei wraththiden God at the watris of ayenseiyng; and Moises was trauelid for hem, for thei maden bittere his spirit,

33 ৩৩ তারা তাঁকে তিক্ত করল এবং তিনি বেপরোয়াভাবে বললেন।

and he departide in his lippis.

34 ৩৪ তারা জাতিদেরকে ধ্বংস করল না, যেমন সদাপ্রভুু করতে আদেশ দিয়েছিলেন।

Thei losten not hethen men; whiche the Lord seide to hem.

35 ৩৫ কিন্তু তারা পাগান জাতিদের সঙ্গে মিশে গেল এবং তাদের শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করল;

And thei weren meddlid among hethene men, and lerneden the werkis of hem,

36 ৩৬ এবং তাদের প্রতিমার আরাধনা করল, তাতে সে সব তাদের ফাঁদ হয়ে উঠল।

and serueden the grauen ymagis of hem; and it was maad to hem in to sclaundre.

37 ৩৭ তারা তাদের ছেলেদের এবং মেয়েদেরকে ভূতদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলিদান করল।

And thei offriden her sones; and her douytris to feendis.

38 ৩৮ তারা নির্দ্দোষদের রক্তপাত করল, তাদের ছেলে এবং মেয়েদের রক্তপাত করল, তারা কনানীয় প্রতিমাদের উদ্দেশ্যে তাদেরকে বলিদান করল; দেশ রক্তে অপবিত্র করলো।

And thei schedden out innocent blood, the blood of her sones and of her douytris; whiche thei sacrificiden to the grauun ymagis of Chanaan.

39 ৩৯ তারা তাদের কাজের দ্বারা কলুষিত হল এবং ব্যভিচারী হলো তাদের কাজের জন্য।

And the erthe was slayn in bloodis, and was defoulid in the werkis of hem; and thei diden fornicacioun in her fyndyngis.

40 ৪০ তাই সদাপ্রভুু তাঁর লোকেদের ওপর রেগে গেলেন এবং তিনি তাঁর লোকেদেরকে ঘৃণা করলেন।

And the Lord was wrooth bi strong veniaunce ayens his puple; and hadde abhominacioun of his eritage.

41 ৪১ তিনি তাদেরকে জাতিদের হাতে তুলে দিলেন এবং যারা তাদের কারণ করত তারা তাদের ওপরে কর্তৃত্ব করল।

And he bitook hem in to the hondis of hethene men; and thei that hatiden hem, weren lordis of hem.

42 ৪২ তাদের শত্রুরা তাদের পদদলিত করল এবং তারা তাদের কর্তৃত্বের কাছে পরাধীন হল।

And her enemyes diden tribulacioun to hem, and thei weren mekid vndir the hondis of enemyes;

43 ৪৩ অনেক বার তিনি তাদেরকে সাহায্য করতে এলেন কিন্তু তারা বিদ্রোহী হল এবং নিজেদের পাপে দুর্বল হয়ে পড়ল।

ofte he delyuerede hem. But thei wraththiden hym in her counsel; and thei weren maad low in her wickidnessis.

44 ৪৪ তবুও তিনি যখন তাদের বেদনার কথা শুনলেন, তখন সাহায্যের জন্য তাদের কান্না শুনলেন।

And he siye, whanne thei weren set in tribulacioun; and he herde the preyer of hem.

45 ৪৫ তিনি মনে করলেন তাদের সঙ্গে তার নিয়মের কথা এবং নরম হলেন কারণ তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততার বিধি।

And he was myndeful of his testament; and it repentide hym bi the multitude of his merci.

46 ৪৬ তিনি তাদের বিজেতাদের তিনি করুণা করলেন।

And he yaf hem in to mercies; in the siyt of alle men, that hadden take hem.

47 ৪৭ আমাদের রক্ষা কর, সদাপ্রভুু, আমাদের ঈশ্বর, জাতিদের মধ্য থেকে আমাদেরকে সংগ্রহ কর; যেন আমরা তোমার পবিত্র নামের স্তব করি এবং তোমার প্রশংসায় জয়ধ্বনি করি।

Oure Lord God, make thou vs saaf; and gadere togidere vs fro naciouns. That we knouleche to thin hooli name; and haue glorie in thi preisyng.

48 ৪৮ ধন্য সদাপ্রভুু, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, অনাদিকাল অবধি অনন্তকাল পর্যন্ত। সব লোক বলুক, আমেন। সদাপ্রভুুর প্রশংসা কর।

Blessid be the Lord God of Israel fro the world and til in to the world; and al the puple schal seye, Be it don, be it don.
