হিতোপদেশ 30

1 ১ যাকিরের ছেলে আগূরের কথা; ভাববাণী। ঈথীয়েলের প্রতি, ঈথীয়েল ও উকলের প্রতি, সেই ব্যক্তির উক্তি।

[the] words of - Agur [the] son of Jakeh the oracle [the] utterance of the man to Ithiel to Ithiel and Ukal.

2 ২ সত্য, আমি মানুষের থেকে পশুর মত, মানুষের বিবেচনা আমার নেই।

That [am] stupid I more than anyone and not [the] understanding of a person [belongs] to me.

3 ৩ আমি প্রজ্ঞা শিক্ষা করিনি, পবিত্রতমের জ্ঞান আমার নেই।

And not I have learned wisdom and knowledge of [the] holy [one] I know.

4 ৪ কে স্বর্গে গিয়ে নেমে এসেছেন? কে নিজের হাতের মুঠোয় বাতাস গ্রহণ করেছেন? কে নিজের কাপড়ে জলরাশি বেঁধেছেন? কে পৃথিবীর সব প্রান্ত স্থাপন করেছেন? তাঁর নাম কি? তাঁর ছেলের নাম কি? যদি জান, বল।

Who? has he gone up heaven - and has he come down? who? has he gathered [the] wind - in hands his who? has he wrapped [the] waters - in cloak who? has he set up all [the] ends of [the] earth what? [is] name his and what? [is] [the] name of son his for you know.

5 ৫ ঈশ্বরের প্রত্যেক বাক্য পরীক্ষাসিদ্ধ; তিনি তাঁর শরণাপন্নদের ঢাল।

Every word of God [is] refined [is] a shield he for [those who] take refuge in him.

6 ৬ তাঁর বাক্যের মধ্যে কিছু যোগ কোরো না; পাছে তিনি তোমার দোষ ব্যক্ত করেন, আর তুমি মিথ্যাবাদী প্রতিপন্ন হও।

May not you add to words his lest he should rebuke you and you will be proved a liar.

7 ৭ আমি তোমার কাছে দুই বর ভিক্ষা করেছি, আমার জীবন থাকতে তা অস্বীকার কোরো না;

Two [things] I ask from with you may not you withhold [them] from me before I will die.

8 ৮ অলীকতা ও মিথ্যাকথা আমার কাছ থেকে দূর কর; দরিদ্রতা বা ঐশ্বর্য্য আমাকে দিও না, আমার দেওয়া খাবার আমাকে খাওয়াও;

Deceitfulness - and a word of falsehood put far away from me poverty and wealth may not you give to me let devour me [the] food of allotment my.

9 ৯ পাছে বেশী তৃপ্ত হলে আমি তোমাকে অস্বীকার করে বলি, সদাপ্রভু কে? কিংবা পাছে দরিদ্র হলে চুরি করে বসি ও আমার ঈশ্বরের নাম অপব্যবহার করি।

Lest I should be satisfied - and I will deny and I will say who? [is] Yahweh and lest I should become impoverished and I will steal and I will seize [the] name of God my.

10 ১০ কর্তার কাছে দাসের দুর্নাম কোরো না, পাছে সে তোমাকে শাপ দেয় ও তুমি অপরাধী হও।

May not you slander a slave to (master his *QK) lest he should curse you and you will be held guilty.

11 ১১ এক বংশ আছে, তারা বাবাকে শাপ দেয়, আর মায়ের জন্য মঙ্গলবাদ করে না।

A generation father its it curses and mother its not it blesses.

12 ১২ এক বংশ আছে, তারা নিজেদের দৃষ্টিতে শুচি, তবু নিজেদের মালিন্য থেকে ধোয়া হয়নি।

A generation [is] pure in own eyes its and from excrement its not it has been washed.

13 ১৩ এক বংশ আছে, তাদের দৃষ্টি কেমন উঁচুঁ। তাদের চোখের পাতা উন্নত।

A generation how! they are raised eyes its and eyelids its they are lifted up.

14 ১৪ এক বংশ আছে, তাদের দাঁত খড়গ ও চোয়াল ছুরি, যেন দেশ থেকে দুঃখীদেরকে, মানুষদের মধ্য থেকে দরিদ্রদেরকে গ্রাস করে।

A generation - [are] swords teeth its and [are] knives jaw bones its to devour afflicted [people] from [the] earth and needy [people] from humankind.

15 ১৫ জোঁকের দুটো মেয়ে আছে, “দাও এবং দাও।” তিনটা কখনও তৃপ্ত হয় না, চারটা কখনও বলে না, “যথেষ্ট হল”:

[belong] to A leech - two daughters give - give three [things] they not they are satisfied four [things] not they say enough.

16 ১৬ পাতাল; বন্ধ্যা গর্ভ; জলের জন্য তৃষ্ণার্ত ভূমি এবং আগুন যা কখনো বলে না, “যথেষ্ট।” (Sheol h7585)

Sheol and barrenness of a womb land [which] not it is satisfied water and fire [which] not it says enough. (Sheol h7585)

17 ১৭ যে চোখ নিজের বাবাকে পরিহাস করে, নিজের মায়ের আদেশ মানতে অবহেলা করে, উপত্যকার কাকেরা তা তুলে নেবে, ঈগল পাখির বাচ্চারা তা খেয়ে ফেলবে।

An eye - [which] it mocks a father so it may despise obedience of a mother they will pluck out it [the] ravens of [the] wadi and they will eat it [the] young of an eagle.

18 ১৮ তিনটে আমার জ্ঞানের বাইরে, চারটে আমি বুঝতে পারি না;

Three [things] they they are [too] wonderful for me (and four [things] *Qk) not I know them.

19 ১৯ ঈগল পাখির পথ আকাশে, সাপের পথ পাহাড়ের ওপরে, জাহাজের পথ সমুদ্রের মাঝখানে, পুরুষের পথ যুবতীতে।

[the] way of The eagle - in the heavens [the] way of a snake on a rock [the] way of a ship in [the] heart of [the] sea and [the] way of a man with a young woman.

20 ২০ ব্যভিচারিনীর পথও সেরকম; সে খেয়ে মুখ মোছে, আর বলে, আমি অধর্ম্ম করিনি।

[is] thus - [the] way of A woman adulterous she eats and she wipes clean mouth her and she says not I have done wickedness.

21 ২১ তিনটের ভারে ভূমি কাঁপে, চারটের ভারে কাঁপে, সইতে পারে না;

Under three [things] it quakes [the] earth and under four [things] not it is able to bear up.

22 ২২ দাসের ভার, যখন সে রাজত্ব প্রাপ্ত হয়, মূর্খের ভার, যখন সে খেয়ে পরিতৃপ্ত হয়,

Under a slave for he will become king and a fool for he will be satisfied food.

23 ২৩ ঘৃণিত স্ত্রীর ভার, যখন সে পত্নীর পদ প্রাপ্ত হয়, আর দাসীর ভার, যখন সে নিজের কর্ত্রীর জায়গা লাভ করে।

Under a hated [woman] for she will be married and a female servant for she will dispossess mistress her.

24 ২৪ পৃথিবীতে চারটে খুব ছোট, তাছাড়া তারা বড় বুদ্ধি ধরে;

Four [things] they [are] small [things] of [the] earth and they [are] wise [things] made wise.

25 ২৫ পিপড়ে শক্তিমান্ জাতি নয়, তবু গ্রীষ্মকালে নিজের নিজের খাবারের আয়োজন কর;

The ants [are] a people not strong and they prepared in the summer food their.

26 ২৬ শাফন জন্তু বলবান জাতি নয়, তবুও পাহাড়ে ঘর বাঁধে;

Rock badgers [are] a people not mighty and they made in the rock[s] home their.

27 ২৭ পঙ্গপালদের রাজা নেই, তবুও তারা দল বেঁধে যায়;

A king not [belongs] to the locust and it went out dividing all of it.

28 ২৮ টিকটিকিকে তোমার হাতে নিতে পার, তবুও রাজার প্রাসাদে থাকে।

A lizard in [two] hands you will grasp and it [is] in [the] palaces of a king.

29 ২৯ তিনটে সুন্দরভাবে যায়, চারটে সুন্দরভাবে চলে;

Three [things] they [are] doing well of step and four [things] [are] doing well to walk.

30 ৩০ সিংহ, যে পশুদের মধ্যে বিক্রমী, যে কাকেও দেখেও ফিরে যায় না;

A lion [is] mighty among the animal[s] and not it turns back from before anything.

31 ৩১ মোরগ যে দর্পের সাথে ঘুরে বেড়ায় আর ছাগল এবং রাজা, যাঁর বিরুদ্ধে কেউ উঠে না।

A rooster of loins or a male goat and a king a band of soldiers with him.

32 ৩২ তুমি যদি নিজের বড়াই করে মূর্খের কাজ করে থাক, কিংবা যদি খারাপ মতলব করে থাক, তবে তোমার মুখে হাত দাও।

If you have been foolish by exalting yourself and if you have plotted hand to a mouth.

33 ৩৩ কারণ দুধ মন্থনে মাখন বের হয়, নাক মন্থনে রক্ত বের হয় ও রাগ মন্থনে বিরোধ বের হয়।

For squeezing of milk it brings forth butter and squeezing of a nose it brings forth blood and squeezing of anger it brings forth strife.
