হিতোপদেশ 15

1 ১ মৃদু উত্তর রাগ দূর করে, কিন্তু কঠোর শব্দ রাগ উত্তেজিত করে।

An answer soft it turns away rage and a word of hurt it raises anger.

2 ২ জ্ঞানীদের জিহ্বা জ্ঞান প্রশংসা করে; কিন্তু নির্বোধদের মুখ নির্বোধমিতা বের করে।

[the] tongue of Wise [people] it makes good knowledge and [the] mouth of fools it pours forth foolishness.

3 ৩ সদাপ্রভুর চোখ সব জায়গাতেই আছে, তা খারাপ ও ভালোদের প্রতি দৃষ্টি রাখে।

[are] in Every place [the] eyes of Yahweh watching evil [people] and good [people].

4 ৪ নিরাময় জিহ্বা জীবনবৃক্ষ; কিন্তু প্রতারণামূলক জিহ্বা আত্মা ভেঙে দেয়।

Healing of tongue [is] a tree of life and perverseness with it [is] brokenness in spirit.

5 ৫ নির্বোধ নিজের বাবার শাসন অবজ্ঞা করে; কিন্তু যে সংশোধন মানে, সেই বিচক্ষণ হয়।

A fool he spurns [the] discipline of father his and [one who] keeps correction he is prudent.

6 ৬ ধার্ম্মিকের বাড়িতে প্রচুর সম্পত্তি থাকে; কিন্তু দুষ্টের আয়ে বিপদ থাকে।

[the] house of A righteous [person] wealth great and with [the] income of a wicked [person] trouble.

7 ৭ জ্ঞানবানদের ঠোঁট জ্ঞান ছড়িয়ে দেয়; কিন্তু নির্বোধদের হৃদয় স্থির না।

[the] lips of Wise [people] they scatter knowledge and [the] heart of fools [is] not right.

8 ৮ দুষ্টদের বলিদান সদাপ্রভু ঘৃণা করেন; কিন্তু সরলদের প্রার্থনা তাঁর সন্তুষ্টজনক।

[the] sacrifice of Wicked [people] [is] [the] abomination of Yahweh and [is the] prayer of upright [people] delight his.

9 ৯ দুষ্টদের রাস্তা সদাপ্রভু ঘৃণা করেন; কিন্তু তিনি ধার্মিকতার অনুগামীকে ভালবাসেন।

[is] [the] abomination of Yahweh [the] way of a wicked [person] and [one who] pursues righteousness he loves.

10 ১০ যে রাস্তা পরিত্যাগ করে তার জন্য কঠোর শাস্তি অপেক্ষা করছে; যে সংশোধন ঘৃণা করবে, সে মরবে।

Discipline bad [is] for [one who] forsakes [the] path [one who] hates correction he will die.

11 ১১ পাতাল ও ধ্বংস সদাপ্রভুর সামনে খোলা; তবে মানবজাতির বংশধরদের হৃদয়ও কি সেরকম না? (Sheol h7585)

Sheol and Abaddon [are] before Yahweh indeed? for [the] hearts of [the] children of humankind. (Sheol h7585)

12 ১২ উপহাসক সংশোধন ক্ষতিকর মনে করে; সে জ্ঞানবানের কাছে যায় না।

Not he loves a mocker reproof to him to wise [people] not he goes.

13 ১৩ আনন্দিত মন মুখকে প্রফুল্ল করে, কিন্তু মানসিক যন্ত্রণায় আত্মা ভেঙে যায়।

A heart joyful it makes good a face and by sorrow of heart a spirit [is] stricken.

14 ১৪ বুদ্ধিমানের মন জ্ঞানের খোঁজ করে; কিন্তু নির্বোধদের মুখ নির্বোধমির ক্ষেতে চরে।

A heart discerning it seeks knowledge (and [the] mouth of *QK) fools it feeds on foolishness.

15 ১৫ দুঃখীর সব দিন ই নির্যাতিত; কিন্তু যার আনন্দিত হৃদয়, তার চিরস্থায়ী ভোজ।

All [the] days of [the] afflicted [are] displeasing and a [person] good of heart a feast continually.

16 ১৬ সদাপ্রভুর ভয়ের সঙ্গে অল্পও ভাল, তবু বিশৃঙ্খলার সঙ্গে প্রচুর সম্পত্তি ভাল না।

[is] good A little with [the] fear of Yahweh more than treasure great and turmoil with it.

17 ১৭ ভালবাসার সঙ্গে শাকসবজি খাওয়া ভাল, তবু ঘৃণার সঙ্গে মোটাসোটা গরু ভাল নয়।

[is] good A portion of vegetables and love [is] there more than an ox fattened and hatred [is] with it.

18 ১৮ একজন রাগী লোক, সে বিবাদ উত্তেজিত করে; কিন্তু যে রাগে ধীর, সে বিবাদ থামায়।

A person of rage he stirs up strife and a [person] long of anger he makes quiet a dispute.

19 ১৯ অলসের পথ কাঁটার বেড়ার মতো; কিন্তু সরলদের রাস্তা রাজপথ।

[the] way of A sluggard [is] like a hedge of thorn[s] and [the] path of upright [people] [is] cast up.

20 ২০ জ্ঞানবান ছেলে বাবার আনন্দ জন্মায়; কিন্তু নির্বোধ লোক মাকে অবজ্ঞা করে।

A son wise he makes glad a father and a fool a person [is] despising mother his.

21 ২১ জ্ঞানহীন নির্বোধমিতায় আনন্দ করে, কিন্তু বুদ্ধিমান লোক সোজা রাস্তায় চলে।

Foolishness [is] a joy to [one] lacking of heart and a person of understanding he makes straight to walk.

22 ২২ উপদেশের অভাবে পরিকল্পনা সব ব্যর্থ হয়; কিন্তু অনেক উপদেষ্টার জন্যে সে সব সফল হয়।

They go wrong plans when there not [is] counsel and with multitude of counselors it is established.

23 ২৩ মানুষ নিজের প্রাসঙ্গিক উত্তরে আনন্দ পায়; আর সঠিক দিনের র কথা কেমন ভালো।

Joy [belongs] to person in [the] answer of mouth his and [is] a word at appropriate time its how! good.

24 ২৪ বুদ্ধিমানের জন্য জীবনের পথ উপরে, যেন সে নীচের পাতাল থেকে সরে যায়। (Sheol h7585)

[the] path of Life [is] upwards for [one who] acts prudently so as to turn aside from Sheol beneath. (Sheol h7585)

25 ২৫ সদাপ্রভু অহঙ্কারীদের উত্তরাধিকার বিচ্ছিন্ন করেন, কিন্তু বিধবার সম্পত্তি সুরক্ষিত রাখেন।

[the] house of Proud [people] he tears down - Yahweh and he will establish [the] territory of a widow.

26 ২৬ কুসঙ্কল্প সব সদাপ্রভু ঘৃণা করেন, কিন্তু উদারতার কথা খাঁটি।

[are] [the] abomination of Yahweh [the] plans of an evil [person] and [are] clean words of kindness.

27 ২৭ অর্থলোভী তার পরিবারের বিপদ; কিন্তু যে ঘুষ ঘৃণা করে, সে জীবিত থাকে।

[is] troubling Own house his [one who] gains unjustly unjust gain and [one who] hates gifts he will live.

28 ২৮ ধার্ম্মিকের মন উত্তর করার জন্যে চিন্তা করে; কিন্তু দুষ্টদের মুখ খারাপ কথা বের করে।

[the] heart of A righteous [person] it considers to answer and [the] mouth of wicked [people] it pours forth evil things.

29 ২৯ সদাপ্রভু দুষ্টদের থেকে দূরে থাকেন, কিন্তু তিনি ধার্ম্মিকদের প্রার্থনা শোনেন।

[is] far Yahweh from wicked [people] and [the] prayer of righteous [people] he hears.

30 ৩০ আনন্দময় চেহারা হৃদয়কে আনন্দিত করে, ভালো সংবাদ হল শরীরের স্বাস্থ্য।

Light of eyes it makes glad a heart a report good it fattens [the] bone[s].

31 ৩১ যার কান জীবনদায়ক সংশোধন শোনে, সে জ্ঞানীদের মধ্যে থাকবে।

An ear [which] hears correction of life in [the] midst of wise [people] it will remain.

32 ৩২ যে শাসন অমান্য করে, সে নিজেকে অবজ্ঞা করে; কিন্তু যে সংশোধন শোনে, সে বুদ্ধি উপার্জন করে।

[one who] ignores Discipline [is] rejecting self his and [one who] heeds correction [is] acquiring heart.

33 ৩৩ সদাপ্রভুর ভয় প্রজ্ঞার শিক্ষা, আর সম্মানের আগে নম্রতা থাকে।

[the] fear of Yahweh [is the] correction of wisdom and [is] before honor humility.
