নহিমিয়ের বই 7

1 ১ দেওয়াল গাঁথা শেষ হবার পর আমি ফটকগুলিতে দরজা লাগালাম এবং দারোয়ানরা, গায়কেরা ও লেবীয়েরা নিযুক্ত হল।

And it cometh to pass, when the wall hath been built, that I set up the doors, and the gatekeepers are appointed, and the singers, and the Levites,

2 ২ আর আমি নিজের ভাই হনানি ও দুর্গের সেনাপতি হনানিয়কে যিরূশালেমের ভার দিলাম, কারণ হনানিয় বিশ্বস্ত লোক ছিলেন এবং ঈশ্বরকে অনেকের চেয়ে বেশী ভয় করতেন।

and I charge Hanani my brother, and Hananiah head of the palace, concerning Jerusalem — for he [is] as a man of truth, and fearing God above many —

3 ৩ আর আমি তাঁদেরকে বললাম, “যতক্ষণ রোদ বেশী না হয়, ততক্ষণ যিরূশালেমের দরজাগুলো যেন খোলা না হয় এবং রক্ষীরা কাছে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতে দরজাগুলো সব বন্ধ করা ও হুড়কা দেওয়া হয় এবং তোমরা যিরূশালেমের বাসিন্দাদের মধ্য থেকে যেন পাহারাদার নিযুক্ত কর, তারা প্রত্যেকে নিজের নিজের পাহারা দেবার জায়গায়, নিজের নিজের ঘরের সামনে থাকুক।”

and I say to them, 'Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened till the heat of the sun, and while they are standing by let them shut the doors, and fasten, and appoint guards of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, each in his guard, and each over-against his house.'

4 ৪ শহর বড় ও বিস্তৃত, কিন্তু তার মধ্যে লোক অল্প ছিল, বাড়িগুলোও তৈরী করা যায়নি

And the city [is] broad on both sides, and great, and the people [are] few in its midst, and there are no houses builded;

5 ৫ পরে আমার ঈশ্বর আমার মনে ইচ্ছা দিলে আমি গণ্যমান্য লোকদের, নেতাদের ও লোকদের জড়ো করলাম, যেন তাদের বংশ তালিকা লেখা হয়। আমি প্রথমে আসা লোকদের বংশ তালিকা পেলাম, তার মধ্যে এই কথা লেখা পেলাম

and my God putteth it unto my heart, and I gather the freeman, and the prefects, and the people, for the genealogy, and I find a book of the genealogy of those coming up at the beginning, and I find written in it: —

6 ৬ যারা বন্দী অবস্থায় আনা হয়েছিল, বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদনিত্সর যাদেরকে বন্দী করে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন, তাদের মধ্যে প্রদেশের এই লোকেরা বন্দী অবস্থা থেকে গিয়ে যিরূশালেম ও যিহূদাতে নিজের নিজের শহরে ফিরে আসল;

These [are] sons of the province, those coming up of the captives of the removal that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed — and they turn back to Jerusalem and to Judah, each to his city —

7 ৭ তারা সরুব্বাবিল, যেশূয়, নহিমিয়, অসরিয়, রয়মিয়া, নহমানি, মর্দখয়, বিলশন, মিস্পরৎ, বিগবয়, নহূম ও বানা এদের সঙ্গে ফিরে আসল। সেই ইস্রায়েলীয়দের পুরুষ সংখ্যা;

who are coming in with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. Number of the men of the people of Israel:

8 ৮ পরোশের বংশধর দুই হাজার একশো বাহাত্তর জন;

Sons of Parosh: two thousand a hundred and seventy and two.

9 ৯ শফটিয়ের বংশধর তিনশো বাহাত্তর জন;

Sons of Shephatiah: three hundred seventy and two.

10 ১০ আরহের বংশধর ছশো বাহান্ন জন;

Sons of Arah: six hundred fifty and two.

11 ১১ যেশূয় ও যোয়াবের বংশধরদের মধ্যে পহৎ মোয়াবের বংশধর দুই হাজার আটশো আঠারো জন;

Sons of Pahath-Moab, of the sons of Jeshua and Joab: two thousand and eight hundred [and] eighteen.

12 ১২ এলমের বংশধর এক হাজার দুশো চুয়ান্ন জন;

Sons of Elam: a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

13 ১৩ সত্তূর বংশধর আটশো পঁয়তাল্লিশ জন;

Sons of Zattu: eight hundred forty and five.

14 ১৪ সক্কয়ের বংশধর সাতশো ষাট জন;

Sons of Zaccai: seven hundred and sixty.

15 ১৫ বিন্নূয়ির বংশধর ছশো আটচল্লিশ জন;

Sons of Binnui: six hundred forty and eight.

16 ১৬ বেবয়ের বংশধর ছশো আটাশ জন;

Sons of Bebai: six hundred twenty and eight.

17 ১৭ আস্‌গদের বংশধর দুই হাজার তিনশো বাইশ জন;

Sons of Azgad: two thousand three hundred twenty and two.

18 ১৮ অদোনীকামের বংশধর ছশো সাতষট্টি জন;

Sons of Adonikam: six hundred sixty and seven.

19 ১৯ বিগবয়ের বংশধর দুই হাজার সাতষট্টি জন;

Sons of Bigvai: two thousand sixty and seven.

20 ২০ আদীনের বংশধর ছশো পঞ্চান্ন জন;

Sons of Adin: six hundred fifty and five.

21 ২১ যিহিষ্কিয়ের বংশধর আটেরের বংশধর আটানব্বইজন।

Sons of Ater of Hezekiah: ninety and eight.

22 ২২ হশুমের বংশধর তিনশো আটাশ জন;

Sons of Hashum: three hundred twenty and eight.

23 ২৩ বেৎসয়ের বংশধর তিনশো চব্বিশ জন;

Sons of Bezai: three hundred twenty and four.

24 ২৪ হারীফের বংশধর একশো বারো জন;

Sons of Hariph: a hundred [and] twelve.

25 ২৫ গিবিয়োনের বংশধর পঁচানব্বইজন।

Sons of Gibeon: ninety and five.

26 ২৬ বৈৎলেহম ও নটোফার লোক একশো অষ্টাশি জন;

Men of Beth-Lehem and Netophah: a hundred eighty and eight.

27 ২৭ অনাথোতের লোক একশো আটাশ জন;

Men of Anathoth: a hundred twenty and eight.

28 ২৮ বৈৎ-অস্মাবতের লোক বিয়াল্লিশ জন;

Men of Beth-Azmaveth: forty and two.

29 ২৯ কিরিয়ৎ যিয়ারীম, কফীরা ও বেরোতের লোক সাতশো তেতাল্লিশ জন;

Men of Kirjath-Jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth: seven hundred forty and three.

30 ৩০ রামা ও গেবার লোক ছশো একুশ জন;

Men of Ramah and Gaba: six hundred twenty and one.

31 ৩১ মিক্‌মসের লোক একশো বাইশ জন;

Men of Michmas: a hundred and twenty and two.

32 ৩২ বৈথেল ও অয়ের লোক একশো তেইশ জন;

Men of Bethel and Ai: a hundred twenty and three.

33 ৩৩ অন্য নবোর লোক বাহান্নজন;

Men of the other Nebo: fifty and two.

34 ৩৪ অন্য এলমের লোক এক হাজার দুশো চুয়ান্ন জন;

Sons of the other Elam: a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

35 ৩৫ হারীমের লোক তিনশো বিশ জন;

Sons of Harim: three hundred and twenty.

36 ৩৬ যিরীহোর লোক তিনশো পয়ঁতাল্লিশ জন;

Sons of Jericho: three hundred forty and five.

37 ৩৭ লোদ, হাদীদ এবং ওনোর বংশধর সাতশো একুশ জন;

Sons of Lod, Hadid, and Ono: seven hundred and twenty and one.

38 ৩৮ সনায়ার লোক তিন হাজার নশো ত্রিশ জন।

Sons of Senaah: three thousand nine hundred and thirty.

39 ৩৯ যাজকদের সংখ্যা এই: যেশূয়ের বংশের মধ্যে যিদয়িয়ের বংশের নশো তিয়াত্তর জন;

The priests: sons of Jedaiah: of the house of Jeshua: nine hundred seventy and three;

40 ৪০ ইম্মেরের বংশধর এক হাজার বাহান্ন জন;

sons of Immer: a thousand fifty and two;

41 ৪১ পশ্‌হূরের বংশধর এক হাজার দুশো সাতচল্লিশ জন;

sons of Pashur: a thousand two hundred forty and seven;

42 ৪২ হারীমের বংশধর এক হাজার সতেরো জন।

sons of Harim: a thousand and seventeen.

43 ৪৩ লেবীয়দের সংখ্যা এই: যেশূয়ের বংশের কদ্‌মীয়েল ও হোদবিয়ের বংশধর চুয়াত্তরজন।

The Levites: sons of Jeshua, of Kadmiel: of sons of Hodevah: seventy and four.

44 ৪৪ গায়কদের সংখ্যা এই: আসফের বংশধর একশো আটচল্লিশ জন।

The singers: sons of Asaph: a hundred forty and eight.

45 ৪৫ রক্ষীরা: শল্লুমের, আটেরের, টল্‌মোনের, অক্কুবের, হটীটার ও শোবয়ের বংশধর একশো আটত্রিশ জন।

The gatekeepers: sons of Shallum, sons of Ater, sons of Talmon, sons of Akkub, sons of Hatita, sons of Shobai: a hundred thirty and eight.

46 ৪৬ নথীনীয়রা: সীহ, হসূফা ও টব্বায়োতের বংশধরেরা;

The Nethinim: sons of Ziha, sons of Hasupha, sons of Tabbaoth,

47 ৪৭ কেরোস, সীয় ও পাদোনের বংশধরেরা;

sons of Keros, sons of Sia, sons of Padon,

48 ৪৮ লবানা, হগাব ও শল্‌ময়ের বংশধরেরা;

sons of Lebanah, sons of Hagaba, sons of Shalmai,

49 ৪৯ হানন, গিদ্দেল ও গহরের বংশধরেরা;

sons of Hanan, sons of Giddel, sons of Gahar,

50 ৫০ রায়া, রৎসীন ও নকোদের বংশধরেরা;

sons of Reaiah, sons of Rezin, sons of Nekoda,

51 ৫১ গসম, ঊষ ও পাসেহের বংশধরেরা;

sons of Gazzam, sons of Uzza, sons of Phaseah,

52 ৫২ বেষয়, মিয়ূনীম ও নফুষযীমের বংশধরেরা;

sons of Bezai, sons of Meunim, sons of Nephishesim,

53 ৫৩ বকবূক, হকূফা ও হর্হূরের বংশধরেরা;

sons of Bakbuk, sons of Hakupha, sons of Harhur,

54 ৫৪ বসলীত, মহীদা ও হর্শার বংশধরেরা;

sons of Bazlith, sons of Mehida, sons of Harsha,

55 ৫৫ বর্কোস, সীষরা ও তেমহের বংশধরেরা;

sons of Barkos, sons of Sisera, sons of Tamah,

56 ৫৬ নৎসীহ ও হটীফার বংশধরেরা।

sons of Neziah, sons of Hatipha.

57 ৫৭ শলোমনের চাকরদের বংশধরেরা: সোটয়, সোফেরত, পরীদা,

Sons of the servants of Solomon: sons of Sotai, sons of Sophereth, sons of Perida,

58 ৫৮ যালা, দর্কোন, গিদ্দেল,

sons of Jaala, sons of Darkon, sons of Giddel,

59 ৫৯ শফটিয়, হটীল, পোখেরৎ হৎসবায়ীম ও আমোনের বংশধরেরা।

sons of Shephatiah, sons of Hattil, sons of Pochereth of Zebaim, sons of Amon.

60 ৬০ নথীনীয়েরা ও শলোমনের চাকরদের বংশধরেরা মোট তিনশো বিরানব্বই জন।

All the Nethinim and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety and two.

61 ৬১ তেল্‌ মেলহ, তেল্‌হর্শা, করূব, অদ্দন ও ইম্মেরের এই এলাকা থেকে নিম্নলিখিত লোকেরা এল আসল; কিন্তু তারা ইস্রায়েলীয় লোক কি না, এ বিষয়ে নিজের নিজের বাবার বংশ কি গোষ্ঠীর প্রমাণ করতে পারল না;

And these [are] those coming up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer — and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel —

62 ৬২ দলায়, টোবিয়, ও নকোদের বংশের ছশো বিয়াল্লিশ জন।

sons of Delaiah, sons of Tobiah, sons of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.

63 ৬৩ আর যাজকদের মধ্য থেকে হবায়, হক্কোস, ও বর্সিল্লয়ের বংশধরেরা; এই গিলিয়দীয় বর্সিল্লয়ের এক মেয়েকে বিয়ে করে তাদের নামে আখ্যাত হয়েছিল।

And of the priests: sons of Habaiah sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai, who hath taken from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite a wife, and is called by their name.

64 ৬৪ বংশ তালিকাতে বলা লোকদের মধ্যে এরা নিজের নিজের বংশ তালিকা খোঁজ করে পেল না, এই জন্য এরা অশুচি গণ্য হয়ে যাজকত্ব থেকে বাদ হয়ে গেল।

These have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and it hath not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,

65 ৬৫ আর শাসনকর্ত্তা তাদেরকে আদেশ দিলেন, যতদিন ঊরীম ও তুম্মীম ব্যবহার করবার অধিকারী কোন যাজক উত্পন্ন না হয়, ততদিন পর্যন্ত তোমরা পবিত্র খাবারের কিছু খেয় না।

and the Tirshatha saith to them that they eat not of the most holy things till the standing up of the priest with Urim and Thummim.

66 ৬৬ জড়ো করা গোটা দলটার লোকসংখ্যা ছিল বিয়াল্লিশ হাজার তিনশো ষাট জন।

All the assembly together [is] four myriads two thousand three hundred and sixty,

67 ৬৭ এছাড়া সাত হাজার তিনশো সাঁইত্রিশ জন চাকর চাকরানী এবং তাঁদের দুশো পঁয়তাল্লিশ জন গায়ক গায়িকাও ছিল।

apart from their servants and their handmaids — these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven; and of them [are] singers and songstresses, two hundred forty and five.

68 ৬৮ তাদের সাতশো ছত্রিশটা ঘোড়া, দুইশো পঁয়তাল্লিশটি খচ্চর,

Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred [and] forty and five;

69 ৬৯ চারশো পঁয়ত্রিশটি উট ও ছয় হাজার সাতশো কুড়িটা গাধা ছিল।

camels, four hundred thirty and five; asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

70 ৭০ বংশের প্রধান লোকদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ কাজের জন্য দান করলেন। শাসনকর্ত্তা ধনভান্ডারে দিলেন এক হাজার সোনার অর্দকোন, পঞ্চাশটা বাটি ও যাজকদের জন্য পাঁচশো ত্রিশটা পোশাক দিলেন।

And from the extremity of the heads of the fathers they have given to the work; the Tirshatha hath given to the treasure, of gold, drams a thousand, bowls fifty, priests' coats thirty and five hundred.

71 ৭১ বংশের প্রধান লোকদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ এই কাজের জন্য সোনার কুড়ি হ্যাঁজার অর্দকোন ও দুই হ্যাঁজার দুশো মানি রূপা ধনভান্ডারে দিলেন।

And of the heads of the fathers they have given to the treasure of the work, of gold, drams two myriads, and of silver, pounds two thousand and two hundred.

72 ৭২ বাকি লোকেরা দিল মোট সোনার কুড়ি হাজার অর্দকোন, দুই হ্যাঁজার মানি রূপা ও যাজকদের জন্য সাতষট্টিটা পোশাক।

And that which the rest of the people have given [is] of gold, drams two myriads, and of silver, pounds two thousand, and of priests coats, sixty and seven.

73 ৭৩ পরে যাজকেরা, লেবীয়েরা, রক্ষীরা, গায়কেরা, কোনো লোক ও নথীনীয়েরা এবং সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলীয়েরা নিজের নিজের শহরে বাস করতে লাগল।

And they dwell — the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinim, and all Israel — in their cities, and the seventh month cometh, and the sons of Israel [are] in their cities.
