মথি 8
Nowe when he was come downe from the mountaine, great multitudes followed him.
2 ২ আর দেখো, একজন কুষ্ঠরোগী কাছে এসে তাঁকে প্রণাম করে বলল, হে প্রভু, যদি আপনার ইচ্ছা হয়, আমাকে শুদ্ধ করতে পারেন।
And loe, there came a Leper and worshipped him, saying, Master, if thou wilt, thou canst make me cleane.
3 ৩ তখন তিনি হাত বাড়িয়ে তাকে স্পর্শ করলেন, তিনি বললেন, “আমার ইচ্ছা, তুমি শুদ্ধ হয়ে যাও,” আর তখনই সে কুষ্ঠরোগ থেকে ভালো হয়ে গেল।
And Iesus putting foorth his hand, touched him, saying, I will, be thou cleane: and immediatly his leprosie was clensed.
4 ৪ পরে যীশু তাকে বললেন, “দেখ, এই কথা কাউকেও কিছু বলো না; কিন্তু যাজকের কাছে গিয়ে নিজেকে দেখাও এবং লোকদের কাছে তোমার বিশুদ্ধ হওয়ার জন্য মোশির দেওয়া আদেশ অনুযায়ী নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ কর, তাদের কাছে সাক্ষ্য হওয়ার জন্য যে তুমি সুস্থ হয়েছ।”
Then Iesus saide vnto him, See thou tell no man, but goe, and shewe thy selfe vnto the Priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a witnesse to them.
When Iesus was entred into Capernaum, there came vnto him a Centurion, beseeching him,
And saide, Master, my seruant lieth sicke at home of the palsie, and is grieuously pained.
And Iesus saide vnto him, I will come and heale him.
8 ৮ শতপতি উত্তর করলেন, হে প্রভু, আমি এমন যোগ্য নই যে, আপনি আমার ছাদের নীচে আসেন; কেবল কথায় বলুন, তাতেই আমার দাস সুস্থ হবে।
But the Centurion answered, saying, Master, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come vnder my roofe: but speake the worde onely, and my seruant shall be healed.
9 ৯ কারণ আমি একজন মানুষ যিনি ক্ষমতা সম্পন্ন, আবার সেনারা আমার আদেশমত চলে; আমি তাদের এক জনকে যাও বললে সে যায় এবং অন্যকে এস বললে সে আসে, আর আমার দাসকে এই কাজ কর বললে সে তা করে।
For I am a man also vnder the authoritie of an other, and haue souldiers vnder me: and I say to one, Goe, and he goeth: and to another, Come, and he commeth: and to my seruant, Doe this, and he doeth it.
10 ১০ এই কথা শুনে যীশু অবাক হলেন এবং যারা পিছন পিছন আসছিল, তাদের বললেন, আমি তোমাদের সত্যিই বলছি, ইস্রায়েলের মধ্যে এত বড় বিশ্বাস কখনো দেখতে পাইনি।
When Iesus heard that, he marueiled, and said to them that folowed him, Verely, I say vnto you, I haue not found so great faith, euen in Israel.
11 ১১ আর আমি তোমাদের বলছি, অনেকে পূর্ব ও পশ্চিম দিক থেকে আসবে এবং অব্রাহাম, ইসহাক, যাকোবের সাথে স্বর্গরাজ্যে একসঙ্গে মেজ এর সামনে আরাম করবে;
But I say vnto you, that many shall come from the East and West, and shall sit downe with Abraham, and Isaac, and Iacob, in the kingdome of heauen.
12 ১২ কিন্তু রাজ্যের সন্তানদের বাইরের অন্ধকারে ফেলে দেওয়া যাবে; সেই জায়গায় কান্নাকাটি করবে ও দাঁতে দাঁতে ঘষবে।
And the children of the kingdome shall be cast out into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnashing of teeth.
13 ১৩ পরে যীশু সেই শতপতিকে বললেন, চলে যাও, যেমন বিশ্বাস করলে, তেমনি তোমার প্রতি হোক। আর সেই দিনেই তার দাস সুস্থ হল।
Then Iesus saide vnto the Centurion, Goe thy way, and as thou hast beleeued, so be it vnto thee, And his seruant was healed the same houre.
And when Iesus came to Peters house, he sawe his wiues mother layed downe, and sicke of a feuer.
And he touched her hande, and the feuer left her: so she arose, and ministred vnto them.
16 ১৬ সন্ধ্যা হলে লোকেরা অনেক ভূতগ্রস্তকে তাঁর কাছে আনল, তাতে তিনি বাক্যের মাধ্যমে সেই আত্মাদেরকে ছাড়ালেন এবং সব অসুস্থ লোককে সুস্থ করলেন;
When the Euen was come, they brought vnto him many that were possessed with deuils: and he cast out the spirits with his worde, and healed all that were sicke,
17 ১৭ যেন যিশাইয় ভাববাদীর দ্বারা বলা কথা পূর্ণ হয়, “তিনি নিজে আমাদের দুর্বলতা সব গ্রহণ করলেন ও রোগ সব বহন করলেন।”
That it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Esaias the Prophet, saying, He tooke our infirmities, and bare our sickenesses.
And when Iesus sawe great multitudes of people about him, he commanded them to goe ouer the water.
19 ১৯ তখন একজন ধর্মশিক্ষক এসে তাঁকে বললেন, হে গুরু, আপনি যে কোনো জায়গায় যাবেন, আমি আপনার পিছন পিছন যাব।
Then came there a certaine Scribe, and said vnto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoeuer thou goest.
20 ২০ যীশু তাঁকে বললেন, শিয়ালদের গর্ত আছে এবং আকাশের পাখিদের বাসা আছে; কিন্তু মনুষ্যপুত্রের মাথা রাখার কোন জায়গা নেই।
But Iesus saide vnto him, The foxes haue holes, and the birdes of the heauen haue nestes, but the Sonne of man hath not whereon to rest his head.
And another of his disciples saide vnto him, Master, suffer me first to goe, and burie my father.
But Iesus said vnto him, Followe me, and let the dead burie their dead.
And when he was entred into ye ship, his disciples followed him.
And beholde, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the ship was couered with waues: but he was a sleepe.
25 ২৫ তখন শিষ্যরা তাঁর কাছে গিয়ে তাঁকে জাগিয়ে বললেন, হে প্রভু, আমাদের উদ্ধার করুন, আমরা মারা গেলাম।
Then his disciples came, and awoke him, saying, Master, saue vs: we perish.
26 ২৬ তিনি তাদের বললেন, হে অল্প বিশ্বাসীরা, কেন তোমরা এত ভয় পাচ্ছ? তখন তিনি উঠে বাতাস ও সমুদ্রকে ধমক দিলেন; তাতে থেমে গেল।
And he said vnto them, Why are ye fearefull, O ye of litle faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea: and so there was a great calme.
And the men marueiled, saying, What man is this, that both the windes and the sea obey him!
28 ২৮ পরে তিনি অন্য পারে গাদারীয়দের দেশে গেলে দুই জন ভূতগ্রস্ত লোক কবরস্থান থেকে বের হয়ে তাঁর সামনে উপস্থিত হল; তারা এত ভয়ঙ্কর ছিল যে, ঐ পথ দিয়ে কেউই যেতে পারত না।
And when he was come to the other side into ye countrey of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with deuils, which came out of the graues very fierce, so that no man might goe by that way.
29 ২৯ আর দেখ, তারা চেঁচিয়ে উঠল, বলল, হে ঈশ্বরের পুত্র, আপনার সাথে আমাদের সম্পর্ক কি? আপনি কি নির্দিষ্ট দিনের র আগে আমাদের যন্ত্রণা দিতে এখানে এলেন?
And beholde, they cryed out, saying, Iesus the sonne of God, what haue we to do with thee? Art thou come hither to tormet vs before ye time?
Nowe there was, afarre off from them, a great heard of swine feeding.
And the deuils besought him, saying, If thou cast vs out, suffer vs to goe into the heard of swine.
32 ৩২ তিনি তাদের বললেন, চলে যাও। তখন তারা বের হয়ে সেই শূকর পালের মধ্যে প্রবেশ করল; আর দেখ, সমস্ত শূকর খুব জোরে ঢালু পাড় দিয়ে দৌড়িয়ে গিয়ে সমুদ্রে পড়ল, ও জলে ডুবে মারা গেল।
And he said vnto them, Go. So they went out and departed into the heard of swine: and beholde, the whole heard of swine ranne headlong into the sea, and died in the water.
Then the heardmen fled: and when they were come into the citie, they tolde all things, and what was become of them that were possessed with the deuils.
34 ৩৪ আর দেখো, শহরের সব লোক যীশুর সাথে দেখা করবার জন্য বের হয়ে এলো এবং তাঁকে দেখে নিজেদের জায়গা থেকে চলে যেতে বিনতি করল।
And beholde, all ye citie came out to meete Iesus: and when they sawe him, they besought him to depart out of their coastes.
