লেবীয় বই 16
And the Lord spoke to Moses, after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they were destroyed for offering strange fire.
2 ২ সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে এই কথা বললেন, “তুমি নিজের ভাই হারোণকে বল, যেন সে অতি পবিত্র জায়গায় পর্দার ভিতরে, সিন্দুকের ওপরে অবস্থিত পাপাবরণের সামনে সব দিনের প্রবেশ না করে, পাছে তার মৃত্যু হয়; কারণ আমি পাপাবরণের ওপরে মেঘে দেখা দেব।
And he instructed him, saying: Speak to your brother Aaron, so that he may not, at any time, enter into the Sanctuary, which is within the veil, before the propitiatory by which the ark is covered, so that he may not die, (for I will appear in a cloud above the oracle)
3 ৩ হারোণ পাপের জন্যে একটি গোবত্স ও হোমের জন্যে একটি মেষ সঙ্গে নিয়ে, এইরূপে অতি পবিত্র জায়গায় প্রবেশ করবে।
unless he will have done these things beforehand. He shall offer a calf for sin, and a ram as a holocaust.
4 ৪ সে মসীনার পবিত্র অঙ্গরক্ষিণী পরবে, মসীনার অন্তর্বাস পরবে, মসীনার কোমরবন্ধন এবং মসীনার উষ্ণীষে বিভূষিত হবে; এ সব পবিত্র বস্ত্র; সে জলে নিজের শরীর ধুয়ে এই সব পরবে।
He shall be vested with a linen tunic. He shall conceal his nakedness with linen undergarments. He shall be wrapped with a linen belt, and he shall impose a linen headdress on his head. For these are holy vestments. All of these he shall put on, after he has been washed.
And he shall receive, from the entire multitude of the sons of Israel, two he-goats for sin, and one ram as a holocaust.
And when he has presented the calf, and has prayed for himself and for his own house,
he shall cause the two he-goats to stand in the sight of the Lord at the entrance to the tabernacle of the testimony.
8 ৮ পরে হারোণ ঐ দুটি ছাগলের বিষয়ে গুলিবাট করবে; এক গুলি সদাপ্রভুর জন্যে ও অন্য গুলি ত্যাগের জন্যে হবে।
And casting lots over them both, one is to be offered to the Lord, and the other is to be the emissary goat.
The one whose lot fell out to be offered to the Lord, he shall offer for sin.
10 ১০ কিন্তু গুলিবাট দ্বারা যে ছাগল ত্যাগের জন্যে হয়, সে যেন ত্যাগের জন্যে মরুপ্রান্তে, তার জন্য তার জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করার জন্য সদাপ্রভুর সামনে তাকে জীবিত উপস্থিত করতে হবে।
But the one who is to be the emissary goat shall stand before the Lord, so that he may pour the prayers upon him, and may send him away into the wilderness.
11 ১১ পরে হারোণ নিজের পাপের বলির ষাঁড় এনে নিজের ও নিজ বংশের জন্যে প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করবে, ফলে সে নিজের পাপের বলি সেই ষাঁড়কে হত্যা করবে;
After these things have been duly celebrated, he shall offer the calf, and praying for himself and for his own house, he shall immolate it.
12 ১২ আর সদাপ্রভুর সামনে থেকে, বেদির ওপর থেকে, প্রজ্বলিত অঙ্গারে পূর্ণ ধুনুচি ও এক মুঠো চূর্ণীকৃত সুগন্ধি ধূপ নিয়ে পর্দার ভিতরে যাবে।
And taking up the censer, which he has filled from the burning coals of the altar, and drawing up with his hands the aromatic compound for incense, he shall enter within the veil, into the holy place,
13 ১৩ আর ঐ ধূপ সদাপ্রভুর সামনে আগুনে দেবে; তাতে সাক্ষ্য সিন্দুকের ওপরে অবস্থিত পাপাবরণ ধূপের ধোঁয়ার মেঘে আচ্ছন্ন হলে সে মরবে না।
so that when the aromatics are placed upon the fire, its cloud and vapor may cover the oracle, which is above the testimony, and he may not die.
14 ১৪ পরে সে ঐ গোবৎসের কিছু রক্ত নিয়ে পাপাবরণের পূর্বপার্শ্বে আঙ্গুলের দ্বারা ছিটিয়ে দেবে এবং আঙ্গুলের মাধ্যমে পাপাবরণের সামনে ঐ রক্ত সাত বার ছিটিয়ে দেবে।
Likewise, he shall take some of the blood of the calf, and sprinkle it with his finger seven times opposite the propitiatory, toward the east.
15 ১৫ পরে সে লোকদের পাপের বলির ছাগলটি হত্যা করে তার রক্ত পর্দার ভিতরে এনে যেমন গোবৎসের রক্ত ছিটিয়ে দিয়েছিল, সেইরূপ তারও রক্ত নিয়ে করবে, পাপাবরণের ওপরে ও পাপাবরণের সামনে ছিটিয়ে দেবে।
And when he has slain the he-goat for the sin of the people, he shall carry its blood within the veil, just as he was instructed to do with the blood of the calf, so that he may sprinkle it away from the area of the oracle,
16 ১৬ আর ইস্রায়েল সন্তানদের নানা ধরনের অশুচিতা ও অধর্ম্ম, অর্থাৎ সবধরনের পাপের জন্য সে পবিত্র জায়গার জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করবে এবং যে সমাগম তাঁবু তাদের সঙ্গে, তাদের নানা ধরনের অশুচির মধ্যে বাস করে, তার জন্যে সে সেরকম করবে।
and so that he may expiate the Sanctuary from the uncleanness of the sons of Israel, and from their prevarications and every one of their sins. According to this rite, he shall act toward the tabernacle of the testimony, which is fixed among them in the midst of the filth of their habitation.
17 ১৭ আর প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করার জন্য পবিত্র জায়গায় প্রবেশ করা থেকে যে পর্যন্ত সে বের না হয় এবং নিজের ও নিজ বংশের এবং সমস্ত ইস্রায়েল সমাজের জন্যে প্রায়শ্চিত্ত শেষ না করে, সেই পর্যন্ত সমাগম তাঁবুতে কোনো মানুষ থাকবে না।
Let no man be in the tabernacle when the high priest enters the Sanctuary in order to pray for himself, and for his house, and for the entire assembly of Israel, until he exits.
18 ১৮ সে বের হয়ে সদাপ্রভুর সামনে বেদির কাছে গিয়ে তার জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করবে এবং সেই ষাঁড়ের কিছু রক্ত ও ছাগলের কিছু রক্ত নিয়ে বেদির চারিদিকে শিংয়ের ওপরে দেবে।
And when he has exited to the altar which is before the Lord, let him pray for himself, and taking the blood of the calf, and of the he-goat, let him pour it upon its horns all around.
19 ১৯ আর সে রক্তের কিছু নিয়ে নিজের আঙ্গুল দ্বারা তার ওপরে সাত বার ছিটিয়ে দিয়ে তা শুচি করবে ও ইস্রায়েল সন্তানদের অশুচি থেকে তা পবিত্র করবে।
And sprinkling with his finger seven times, let him expiate and sanctify it from the uncleanness of the sons of Israel.
20 ২০ এই ভাবে সে পবিত্র জায়গার, সমাগম তাঁবুর ও বেদির জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত কাজ শেষ করলে পর সেই জীবিত ছাগলটি আনবে;
After he has cleansed the Sanctuary, and the tabernacle, and the altar, then let him offer the living goat.
21 ২১ পরে হারোণ সেই জীবিত ছাগলের মাথায় নিজের দুই হাত বাড়িয়ে দেবে এবং ইস্রায়েল সন্তানদের সমস্ত অপরাধ ও তাদের সমস্ত অধর্ম্ম অর্থাৎ তাদের সবধরনের পাপ তার ওপরে স্বীকার করে সে সমস্ত ঐ ছাগলের মাথায় দেবে; পরে যে প্রস্তুত হয়েছে, এমন লোকের হাত দ্বারা তাকে মরুপ্রান্তে পাঠিয়ে দেবে।
And placing both hands upon its head, let him confess all the iniquities of the sons of Israel, and all of their offenses and sins. And calling these down upon its head, he shall send it away, by means of a man prepared to do so, into the desert.
22 ২২ আর ঐ ছাগল নিজের ওপরে তাদের সমস্ত অপরাধ বিচ্ছিন্ন ভূমিতে বয়ে নিয়ে যাবে; আর সেই ব্যক্তি ছাগলটিকে মরুপ্রান্তে ছেড়ে দেবে।
And when the goat has carried all their iniquities into a solitary land, and has been released into the desert,
23 ২৩ আর হারোণ সমাগম তাঁবুতে প্রবেশ করবে এবং পবিত্র জায়গায় প্রবেশ করার দিনের যে সব মসীনা পোশাক পরেছিল, তা ত্যাগ করে সেই জায়গায় রাখবে।
Aaron shall return into the tabernacle of the testimony. And placing aside the vestments, which he had worn before when he entered into the Sanctuary, and leaving them there,
24 ২৪ পরে সে কোনো পবিত্র জায়গায় নিজের শরীর জলে ধুয়ে নিজের পোশাক পরে বাইরে আসবে এবং নিজের হোমবলি ও লোকদের হোমবলি উৎসর্গ করে নিজের জন্যে ও লোকদের জন্যে প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করবে।
he shall wash his flesh in the holy place, and he shall be clothed in his own garments. And departing afterwards, he shall present his own holocaust and that of the people: he shall pray as much for himself as for the people.
And the fat which is offered for sins, he shall burn upon the altar.
26 ২৬ আর যে ব্যক্তি ত্যাগের ছাগলটি ছেড়ে দিয়েছিল, সে নিজের পোশাক ধোবে ও নিজের গা জলে ধোবে, তারপরে শিবিরে আসবে।
Yet truly, he who has sent away the emissary goat shall wash his clothes and his body with water, and so he shall enter into the camp.
27 ২৭ আর পাপের বলির গোবৎস ও পাপের বলির ছাগল, যাদের রক্ত প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করার জন্যে পবিত্র জায়গায় আনা হয়েছিল, লোকেরা তাদেরকে শিবিরের বাইরে নিয়ে গিয়ে তাদের চামড়া, মাংস ও মল আগুনে পুড়িয়ে দেবে।
But the calf and the he-goat, which were immolated for sin, and whose blood was brought into the Sanctuary to complete the expiation, these shall be carried outside the camp and be burned with fire: as with their skins, so also with their flesh and dung.
And whoever will have burned them shall wash his clothes and flesh with water, and so he shall enter into the camp.
29 ২৯ তোমাদের জন্যে এটা চিরস্থায়ী বিধি হবে; সপ্তম মাসের দশম দিনের স্বদেশী কিংবা তোমাদের মধ্যে প্রবাসকারী বিদেশী, তোমরা নিজেদের প্রাণকে দুঃখ দেবে ও কোনো ব্যবসায় কাজ করবে না।
And this shall be to you an everlasting ordinance. In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and you shall do no work, neither someone native born, nor the newcomer who sojourns among you.
30 ৩০ কারণ সেই দিন তোমাদেরকে শুচি করার জন্যে তোমাদের জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করা যাবে; তোমরা সদাপ্রভুর সামনে নিজেদের সব পাপ থেকে শুচি হবে।
On this day, there shall be atonement for you, and also a cleansing from all your sins. You shall be cleansed in the sight of the Lord.
31 ৩১ তা তোমাদের বিশ্রামের জন্যে বিশ্রামদিন এবং তোমরা নিজেদের প্রাণকে দুঃখ দেবে; এটা চিরস্থায়ী বিধি।
For it is a Sabbath of rest, and you shall afflict your souls as a perpetual observance.
32 ৩২ বাবার জায়গায় যাজকের কাজ করতে যাকে অভিষেক ও উত্সর্গের দ্বারা নিযুক্ত করা যাবে, সেই যাজক প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করবে এবং মসীনা পোশাক অর্থাৎ পবিত্র পোশাক সব পরবে।
And the priest who has been anointed, and whose hands have been consecrated to exercise the priesthood in the place of his father, shall make atonement. And he shall be clothed with the linen robe and the holy vestments.
33 ৩৩ আর সে পবিত্র ধর্ম্মধামের জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করবে এবং সমাগম তাঁবুর ও বেদির জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করবে এবং যাজকদের ও সমাজের সমস্ত লোকের জন্য প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করবে।
And he shall expiate the Sanctuary and the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, likewise the priest and all the people.
34 ৩৪ ইস্রায়েল সন্তানদের জন্য তাদের সমস্ত পাপের জন্য বছরের মধ্যে এক বার প্রায়শ্চিত্ত করা তোমাদের জন্যে চিরস্থায়ী বিধি হবে।” তখন [হারোণ] মোশির প্রতি সদাপ্রভুর আদেশ অনুসারে কাজ করলেন।
And this shall be to you a perpetual law, that you pray for the sons of Israel, and for all their sins once a year. Therefore, he did just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
