And it was just when they had finished all the nation to pass over the Jordan. And he said Yahweh to Joshua saying.
Take for yourselves from the people two plus ten men a man one a man one from a tribe.
3 ৩ মোট বারো জনকে গ্রহণ কর, আর তাদেরকে এই আদেশ দাও, তোমরা যর্দ্দনের মাঝখানের ঐ জায়গায়, যেখানে যাজকরা দাঁড়িয়েছিল, সেখান থেকে বারোটি পাথর নিয়ে নিজেদের সঙ্গে করে নিয়ে যাও, আজ যেখানে রাত কাটাবে, সেখানে সেগুলি রাখবে”।
And command them saying take up for yourselves from here from [the] middle of the Jordan from [the] standing-place of [the] feet of the priests to make firm two plus ten stones and you will take over them with you and you will set down them at the lodging place which you will stay at it this night.
4 ৪ তাই যিহোশূয় ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের প্রত্যেক বংশ থেকে একজন করে যে বারো জনকে নির্বাচন করেছিলেন, তাদেরকে ডাকলেন;
And he called Joshua to two plus the ten man whom he had appointed from [the] people of Israel a man one a man one from a tribe.
5 ৫ আর যিহোশূয় তাদেরকে বললেন, “তোমরা তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর সিন্দুকের সামনে যর্দ্দনের মাঝখানে গিয়ে ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের বংশের সংখ্যানুসারে প্রত্যেক জন একটি করে পাথর কাঁধে তুলে নাও;
And he said to them Joshua pass over before [the] ark of Yahweh God your into [the] middle of the Jordan and take up for yourselves each a stone one on shoulder his to [the] number of [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel.
6 ৬ যেন সেটা চিহ্নরূপে তোমাদের মধ্যে থাকতে পারে; ভবিষ্যতে যখন তোমাদের সন্তানরা জিজ্ঞাসা করবে, এই পাথরগুলির অর্থ কি?
So that it may be this a sign in midst your if they will ask! children your tomorrow saying what? [are] the stones these to you.
7 ৭ তোমরা তাদেরকে বলবে, সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম-সিন্দুকের সামনে যর্দ্দনের জল বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়েছিল, সিন্দুক যখন যর্দ্দন পার হয়, সেই দিনের যর্দ্দনের জল বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়েছিল; তাই এই পাথরগুলি চিরকাল ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের স্মৃতিচিহ্ন হিসাবে থাকবে৷”
And you will say to them that they were cut off [the] waters of the Jordan from before [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh when passed on it in the Jordan they were cut off [the] waters of the Jordan and they will become the stones these a reminder to [the] people of Israel until perpetuity.
8 ৮ আর ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানরা যিহোশূয়ের আজ্ঞানুসারে কাজ করল, সদাপ্রভু যিহোশূয়কে যেমন বলেছিলেন, তেমনি ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের বংশের সংখ্যানুসারে যর্দ্দনের মধ্য থেকে বারটি পাথর তুলে নিল এবং নিজেদের সঙ্গে পারে রাত কাটানোর জায়গায় নিয়ে গিয়ে সেখানে রাখল।
And they did thus [the] people of Israel just as he had commanded Joshua and they took up two plus ten stones from [the] middle of the Jordan just as he had said Yahweh to Joshua to [the] number of [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel and they took over them with them to the lodging place and they set down them there.
9 ৯ আর যেখানে নিয়ম-সিন্দুকবহণকারী যাজকরা দাঁড়িয়েছিল, সেখানে যর্দ্দনের মাঝখানে যিহোশূয় বারটি পাথর স্থাপন করলেন; সে সকল আজও সেখানে আছে।
And two plus ten stones he set up Joshua in [the] middle of the Jordan in [the] standing-place of [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of the covenant and they have been there until the day this.
10 ১০ যিহোশূয়ের প্রতি মোশির আদেশানুযায়ী যে সমস্ত কথা লোকদেরকে বলবার আজ্ঞা সদাপ্রভু যিহোশূয়কে দিয়েছিলেন, তা শেষ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত সিন্দুক-বাহক যাজকরা যর্দ্দনের মাঝখানে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকল এবং লোকেরা তাড়াতাড়ি পার হয়ে গেল।
And the priests [the] bearers of the ark [were] standing in [the] middle of the Jordan until was finished every thing which he had commanded Yahweh Joshua to speak to the people according to all that he had commanded Moses Joshua and they hurried the people and they passed over.
And it was just when it had finished all the people to pass over and it passed over [the] ark of Yahweh and the priests before the people.
12 ১২ আর রূবেণ-সন্তানরা, গাদ-সন্তানরা ও মনঃশির অর্ধেক লোক তাদের প্রতি মোশির কথানুসারে প্রস্তুত হয়ে ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের সামনে পার হল;
And they passed over [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh arrayed for battle before [the] people of Israel just as he had spoken to them Moses.
13 ১৩ যুদ্ধ করতে প্রস্তুত প্রায় চল্লিশ হাজার লোক, যুদ্ধ করার জন্য সদাপ্রভুর সামনে পার হয়ে যিরীহোর তলভূমিতে গেল।
About forty thousand armed [men] of war they passed over before Yahweh for battle to [the] plains of Jericho.
14 ১৪ সেই দিনের সদাপ্রভু সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলের সামনে যিহোশূয়কে মহিমান্বিত করলেন; তাতে লোকেরা যেমন মোশিকে ভয় করত, তেমনি যিহোশূয়ের জীবনকালে তাঁকেও ভয় করতে লাগল।
On the day that he made great Yahweh Joshua in [the] eyes of all Israel and they feared him just as they had feared Moses all [the] days of life his.
And he said Yahweh to Joshua saying.
Command the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of the testimony so they may come up from the Jordan.
And he commanded Joshua the priests saying come up from the Jordan.
18 ১৮ পরে যর্দ্দনের মধ্যে থেকে সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম-সিন্দুকবহণকারী যাজকদের উঠে আসবার দিনের যখন যাজকদের পা শুকনো জমি স্পর্শ করল, তখনই যর্দ্দনের জল নিজের জায়গায় ফিরে এসে আগের মতো সমস্ত তীরের উপরে উঠে গেল।
And it was (just as came up *QK) the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh from [the] middle of the Jordan they were drawn out [the] soles of [the] feet of the priests to the dry ground and they returned [the] waters of the Jordan to place their and they went as yesterday three days ago over all banks its.
19 ১৯ এই ভাবে লোকেরা প্রথম মাসের দশম দিনের যর্দ্দন থেকে উঠে এসে যিরীহোর পূর্ব্ব-সীমানায় গিল্গলে শিবির স্থাপন করলেন।
And the people they went up from the Jordan on the ten of the month first and they encamped at Gilgal on [the] edge of [the] east of Jericho.
And two plus ten the stones these which they had taken from the Jordan he set up Joshua at Gilgal.
21 ২১ আর তিনি ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদেরকে বললেন, “ভবিষ্যতকালে যখন তোমাদের সন্তানরা নিজেদের পিতাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবে, এই পাথরগুলির অর্থ কি?
And he said to [the] people of Israel saying that they will ask! children your tomorrow fathers their saying what? [are] the stones these.
22 ২২ তখন তোমরা নিজেদের সন্তানদের উত্তর দেবে, বলবে, ইস্রায়েল শুকনো জমি দিয়ে এই যর্দ্দন পার হয়েছিল।
And you will make known to children your saying on the dry ground it passed over Israel the Jordan this.
23 ২৩ কারণ তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু সূফসাগরের প্রতি যেমন করেছিলেন, আমাদের পার না হওয়া পর্যন্ত যেমন তা শুকনো করেছিলেন, তেমনি তোমাদের পার না হওয়া পর্যন্ত তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর তোমাদের সামনে যর্দ্দনের জল শুকনো করলেন;
That he dried up Yahweh God your [the] waters of the Jordan from before you until had passed over you just as he did Yahweh God your to [the] sea of reed[s] which he dried up from before us until had passed over we.
24 ২৪ যেন পৃথিবীর সমস্ত জাতি জানতে পারে যে, সদাপ্রভুর হাত বলবান এবং তারা যেন সবদিন তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুকে ভয় করে।”
So as to know all [the] peoples of the earth [the] hand of Yahweh that [is] mighty it so that you may fear Yahweh God your all the days.
