And he spoke Yahweh to Joshua saying.
2 ২ “তুমি ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদেরকে বল; আমি মোশির মাধ্যমে তোমাদের কাছে যে সমস্ত নগরের কথা বলেছি, তোমরা তোমাদের জন্য সেই সমস্ত আশ্রয়-নগর নির্দিষ্ট কর।
Speak to [the] people of Israel saying assign for yourselves [the] cities of refuge which I spoke to you by [the] hand of Moses.
3 ৩ তাতে যে ব্যক্তি অনিচ্ছাকৃতভাবে ও অজান্তে কাউকে হত্যা করে, সেই হত্যাকারী সেখানে পালাতে পারবে এবং সেই নগরগুলি রক্তের প্রতিশোধদাতা থেকে তোমাদের রক্ষার স্থান হবে।
To flee there towards a killer [who] strikes down a person by inadvertence with not knowledge and they will become for you a refuge from [the] avenger of blood.
4 ৪ আর সে তার মধ্যে কোন এক নগরে পালিয়ে যাবে এবং নগরের দরজার প্রবেশ স্থানে দাঁড়িয়ে নগরের প্রাচীনদের কাছে তার কথা বলবে; পরে তারা নগরের মধ্যে তাদের কাছে তাকে নিয়ে এসে তাদের মধ্যে বাস করতে স্থান দেবে।
And he will flee to one - of the cities these and he will stand [the] entrance of [the] gate of the city and he will speak in [the] ears of [the] elders of the city that words his and they will gather him the city towards to themselves and they will give to him a place and he will dwell with them.
5 ৫ আর রক্তের প্রতিশোধদাতা দৌড়ে তার পিছনে এলে তারা তার হাতে সেই হত্যাকারীকে সমর্পণ করবে না; কারণ সে অজান্তে তার প্রতিবেশীকে আঘাত করেছিল, সে আগে তাকে ঘৃণা করে নি।
And if he will pursue [the] avenger of blood after him and not they will deliver up the killer in hand his for with not knowledge he struck neighbor his and not [was] hating he him from yesterday [the] third day.
6 ৬ অতএব যতক্ষণ না সে বিচারের জন্য মণ্ডলীর সামনে দাঁড়ায় এবং সেই দিনের র মহাযাজকের মৃত্যু না হয়, ততদিন সে ঐ নগরে বাস করবে; পরে সেই হত্যাকারী তার নগরে ও তার বাড়িতে, যে নগর থেকে সে পালিয়ে এসেছিল, সেই স্থানে ফিরে যাবে।”
And he will dwell - in the city that until stands he before the congregation for judgment until [the] death of the priest great who he will be in the days those then - he will return the killer and he will go to own city his and to own house his to the city where he fled from there.
7 ৭ তাতে তারা নপ্তালির পাহাড়ি অঞ্চলের গালীলের কেদশ, ইফ্রয়িমের পাহাড়ি অঞ্চলের শিখিম ও যিহূদার পাহাড়ি অঞ্চলের কিরিয়ৎ-অর্ব অর্থাৎ হিব্রোণ আলাদা করল।
And they set apart Kedesh in Galilee in [the] hill country of Naphtali and Shechem in [the] hill country of Ephraim and Kiriath Arba that [is] Hebron in [the] hill country of Judah.
8 ৮ আর যিরীহোর কাছে যর্দ্দনের (নদীর) পূর্বপারে তারা রূবেণ বংশের অধিকার থেকে সমভূমির মরুপ্রান্তে অবস্থিত বেৎসর ও গাদ বংশের অধিকার থেকে গিলিয়দে অবস্থিত রামোৎ ও মনঃশি বংশের অধিকার থেকে বাশনে অবস্থিত গোলন নির্ণয় করল।
And from [the] other side of [the] Jordan of Jericho east-ward they assigned Bezer in the wilderness in the plain from [the] tribe of Reuben and Ramoth in Gilead from [the] tribe of Gad and (Golan *QK) in Bashan from [the] tribe of Manasseh.
9 ৯ কেউ অনিচ্ছাকৃতভাবে মানুষ হত্যা করলে, যতক্ষণ না মণ্ডলীর সামনে দাঁড়ায়, ততদিন যেন সেই স্থানে পালিয়ে যেতে পারে ও রক্তের প্রতিশোধদাতার হাতে না মরে, এই জন্য সমস্ত ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের জন্য ও তাদের মধ্যে বসবাসকারী বিদেশীদের জন্য এই সমস্ত নগর নির্দিষ্ট করা হল।
These they were [the] cities of appointing for all - [the] people of Israel and for the sojourner who sojourns in midst of them to flee there towards any [one who] strikes down a person by inadvertence and not he will die by [the] hand of [the] avenger of blood until stands he before the congregation.
