যোহন 1
B'resheet ·In the beginning of the beginning· was ha D'var ·the Word·, and ha D'var ·the Word· was with God, and ha D'var ·the Word· was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things came to be through him and without him nothing made had being.
In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John [Yah is gracious].
7 ৭ তিনি স্বাক্ষী হিসাবে এসেছিলেন সেই আলোর জন্য সাক্ষ্য দিতে, যেন সবাই তাঁর সাক্ষ্য শুনে বিশ্বাস করে।
The same came as a witness, that he might testify about the light, that all might believe through him.
He was not the light, but was sent that he might testify about the light.
The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn’t recognize him.
He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him.
12 ১২ কিন্তু যতজন মানুষ তাঁকে গ্রহণ করল, যারা তাঁর নামে বিশ্বাস করল, সেই সব মানুষকে তিনি ঈশ্বরের সন্তান হওয়ার অধিকার দিলেন,
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name:
13 ১৩ যাদের জন্ম রক্ত থেকে নয়, মাংসিক অভিলাস থেকেও নয়, মানুষের ইচ্ছা থেকেও নয়, কিন্তু ঈশ্বরের ইচ্ছা থেকেই হয়েছে।
who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 ১৪ এখন সেই বাক্য দেহে পরিণত হলেন এবং আমাদের সাথে বসবাস করলেন। আমরা তাঁর মহিমা দেখেছি, যা পিতার কাছ থেকে আসা একমাত্র পুত্রের যে মহিমা, সেই অনুগ্রহে ও সত্যে পূর্ণ মহিমা আমরা দেখেছি।
Ha D'var ·The Word· became flesh, and tabernacled among us. We saw his shekhinah ·manifest weighty glory and presence of God·, such shekhinah ·manifest weighty glory and presence of God· as of the one and only Son of the Abba ·Father·, full of grace and truth.
15 ১৫ যোহন তাঁর বিষয়ে সাক্ষ্য দিয়ে চিত্কার করে বললেন, “ইনি সে জন যাঁর সম্বন্ধে আমি আগে বলেছিলাম, যিনি আমার পরে আসছেন, তিনি আমার থেকে অনেক মহান, কারণ তিনি আমার আগে ছিলেন।”
John [Yah is gracious] testified about him. He cried out, saying, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.’”
From his fullness we all received grace upon grace.
For the Torah ·Teaching· was given through Moses [Drawn out]; grace and truth came through Yeshua Messiah [Salvation Anointed one].
18 ১৮ ঈশ্বরকে কেউ কখনও দেখেনি। সেই এক ও একমাত্র ব্যক্তি, যিনি নিজে ঈশ্বর, যিনি পিতার সঙ্গে আছেন, তিনিই তাঁকে প্রকাশ করেছেন।
No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of Abba ·Father familiar, Dear Dad·, he has declared him.
19 ১৯ এখন যোহনের সাক্ষ্য হল, যখন ইহূদি নেতারা কয়েক জন যাজক ও লেবীয়কে যিরূশালেম থেকে যোহনের কাছে এই কথা জিজ্ঞাসা করতে পাঠাল, আপনি কে?
This is John [Yah is gracious]’s testimony, when the Jews sent priests and Levites [Descendants of United with] from Jerusalem [City of peace] to ask him, “Who are you?”
He declared, and didn’t deny, but he declared, “I am not the Messiah [Anointed one].”
21 ২১ আর তারা তাঁকে জিজ্ঞাসা করল, “তবে আপনি কে? আপনি কি এলিয়?” তিনি বললেন, “আমি না।” তারা বলল, “আপনি কি ভাববাদী?” তিনি উত্তরে বললেন, “না”
They asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah [My God Yah]?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the prophet?” He answered, “No.”
22 ২২ তখন তারা তাঁকে বলল, “আপনি কে বলুন, যাতে, যাঁরা আমাদের পাঠিয়েছেন, তাঁদেরকে আমরা উত্তর দিতে পারি। আপনি আপনার নিজের বিষয়ে কি বলেন?”
They said therefore to him, “Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”
23 ২৩ তিনি বললেন, “মরূপ্রান্তে একজন চিত্কার করে ঘোষণা করছে, আমি হলাম তাঁর রব; যেমন যিশাইয় ভাববাদীর বইতে যেমন লেখা আছে, তোমরা প্রভুর রাজপথ সোজা কর,”।
He said, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of MarYah [Master Yahweh],’ as Isaiah [Salvation of Yah] the prophet said.”
The ones who had been sent were from the Pharisees [Separated].
They asked him, “Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Messiah [Anointed one], nor Elijah [My God Yah], nor the prophet?”
26 ২৬ যোহন উত্তর দিয়ে তাদের বললেন, আমি জলে বাপ্তিষ্ম দিচ্ছি। কিন্তু তোমাদের মধ্যে এমন একজন আছেন, যাকে তোমরা চেনো না।
John [Yah is gracious] answered them, “I baptize in water, but among you stands one whom you don’t know.
He is the one who comes after me, who is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I’m not worthy to loosen.”
28 ২৮ যর্দ্দন নদীর অপর পারে বৈথনিয়া গ্রামে যেখানে যোহন বাপ্তিষ্ম দিচ্ছিলেন সেই জায়গায় এই সব ঘটনা ঘটেছিল।
These things were done in Bethany [House of affliction] beyond the Jordan [Descender], where John [Yah is gracious] was baptizing.
29 ২৯ পরের দিন যোহন যীশুকে নিজের কাছে আসছে দেখে বললেন, ঐ দেখ ঈশ্বরের মেষশাবক, যিনি পৃথিবীর সব পাপ নিয়ে যান।
The next day, he saw Yeshua [Salvation] coming to him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
30 ৩০ ইনিই সেই মানুষ, যাঁর সম্বন্ধে যে আমি আগে বলেছিলাম, আমার পরে এমন একজন মানুষ আসছেন, যিনি আমার থেকে মহান কারণ তিনি আমার আগে থেকেই ছিলেন।
This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who is preferred before me, for he was before me.’
31 ৩১ আর আমি তাঁকে চিনতাম না, কিন্তু তিনি যাতে ইস্রায়েলীয়দের কাছে প্রকাশিত হন, সেইজন্য আমি এসে জলে বাপ্তিষ্ম দিচ্ছি।
I didn’t know him, but for this reason I came baptizing in water: that he would be revealed to Israel [God prevails].”
32 ৩২ আর যোহন সাক্ষ্য দিয়ে বললেন, আমি পবিত্র আত্মাকে পায়রার মতো স্বর্গ থেকে নেমে আসতে দেখেছি এবং তাঁর উপরে থাকতে দেখেছি।
John [Yah is gracious] testified, saying, “I have seen haRuach [the Spirit] descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.
33 ৩৩ আমি তাঁকে চিনতাম না, কিন্তু যিনি আমাকে জলে বাপ্তিষ্ম দিতে পাঠিয়েছেন তিনিই আমাকে বললেন, তুমি যাঁর উপরে পবিত্র আত্মাকে নেমে এসে থাকতে দেখবে, তিনিই সেই মানুষ যিনি পবিত্র আত্মায় বাপ্তিষ্ম দেন।
I didn’t recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water, he said to me, ‘On whomever you will see haRuach [the Spirit] descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who baptizes in Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness].’
I have seen, and have testified that this is the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·.”
Again, the next day, John [Yah is gracious] was standing with two of his disciples,
and he looked at Yeshua [Salvation] as he walked, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”
The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Yeshua [Salvation].
38 ৩৮ তখন যীশু পিছনের দিকে তাকিয়ে তাদেরকে তাঁর পিছন পিছন আসতে দেখে বললেন, তোমরা কি চাও? তাঁরা উত্তর দিয়ে বললেন, “রব্বি (অনুবাদ করলে এর মানে হল গুরু) আপনি কোথায় থাকেন?”
Yeshua [Salvation] turned, and saw them following, and said to them, “What are you looking for?” They said to him, “Rabbi ·Teacher·” (which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher), “where are you staying?”
39 ৩৯ যীশু তাঁদেরকে বললেন, “এসো এবং দেখো।” তিনি যে জায়গায় থাকতেন তখন তারা সেই জায়গায় গিয়ে দেখলেন এবং সেই দিন তাঁর সঙ্গে থাকলেন; তখন বেলা অনুমানে বিকাল চারটা।
He said to them, “Come, and see.” They came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four o'clock in the afternoon.
40 ৪০ যোহনের কথা শুনে যে দুই জন যীশুর সঙ্গে চলে গিয়েছিল তাঁদের মধ্যে একজন ছিল শিমোন পিতরের ভাই আন্দ্রিয়।
One of the two who heard John [Yah is gracious], and followed him, was Andrew [Manly], Simeon Peter [Hearing Rock]’s brother.
41 ৪১ তিনি প্রথমে নিজের ভাই শিমোনকে খুঁজে পান এবং তাঁকে বলেন, “আমরা মশীহের দেখা পেয়েছি” (অনুবাদ করলে যার মানে হয় খ্রীষ্ট)
He first found his own brother, Simeon [Hearing], and said to him, “We have found the Messiah [Anointed one]!” (which is, being interpreted, Moshiach ·Anointed one·).
42 ৪২ তিনি তাঁকে যীশুর কাছে আনলেন। যীশু তাঁর দিকে দেখলেন এবং বললেন, “তুমি যোহনের ছেলে শিমোন। তোমাকে কৈফা নামে ডাকা হবে” (অনুবাদ করলে যার মানে হয় পিতর)
He brought him to Yeshua [Salvation]. Yeshua [Salvation] looked at him, and said, “You are Simeon [Hearing] the son of Jonah [Dove]. You shall be called Cephas” (which is by interpretation, Peter [Rock]).
43 ৪৩ পরের দিন যখন যীশু গালীলে যাওয়ার জন্য ঠিক করলেন, তিনি ফিলিপের খোঁজ পেলেন এবং তাঁকে বললেন, আমার সঙ্গে এসো।
On the next day, he was determined to go out into Galilee [District, Circuit], and he found Philip [Loves horses]. Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “Follow me.”
Now Philip [Loves horses] was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew [Manly] and Peter [Rock].
45 ৪৫ ফিলিপ নথনেলকে খুঁজে পেলেন এবং তাঁকে বললেন, মোশির ব্যবস্থা ও ভবিষ্যৎ বক্তারা যাঁর কথা লিখেছিলেন, আমরা তাঁকে পেয়েছি; তিনি যোষেফের ছেলে নাসরতীয় যীশু।
Philip [Loves horses] found Nathanael [Given by God], and said to him, “We have found the one that Moses [Drawn out] wrote about in the Torah ·Teaching·, and the Prophets— it is Yeshua [Salvation] son of Joseph [May he add] from Nazareth [Branch, Separated one].”
Nathanael [Given by God] said to him, “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth [Branch, Separated one]?” Philip [Loves horses] said to him, “Come and see.”
47 ৪৭ যীশু নথনেলকে নিজের কাছে আসতে দেখে তাঁর সমন্ধে বললেন, ঐ দেখ একজন প্রকৃত ইস্রায়েলীয়, যার মনে কোনো ছলনা নেই।
Yeshua [Salvation] saw Nathanael [Given by God] coming to him, and said about him, “Behold, an Israelite [Descendant of God prevails] indeed, in whom is no deceit!”
48 ৪৮ নথনেল তাঁকে বললেন, কেমন করে আপনি আমাকে চিনলেন? যীশু উত্তর দিয়ে তাঁকে বললেন, ফিলিপ তোমাকে ডাকবার আগে যখন তুমি সেই ডুমুরগাছের নিচে ছিলে তখন তোমাকে আমি দেখেছিলাম।
Nathanael [Given by God] said to him, “How do you know me?” Yeshua [Salvation] answered him, “Before Philip [Loves horses] called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
Nathanael [Given by God] answered him, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, you are the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·! You are Melek Isra'el [King of God prevails]!”
50 ৫০ যীশু উত্তর দিয়ে তাঁকে বললেন, কারণ আমি তোমাকে বললাম, সেই ডুমুরগাছের নিচে আমি তোমাকে দেখেছিলাম এই কথা বলার জন্যই তুমি কি বিশ্বাস করলে? এর সব কিছুর থেকেও মহৎ কিছু দেখতে পাবে।
Yeshua [Salvation] answered him, “Because I told you, ‘I saw you underneath the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these!”
51 ৫১ যীশু বললেন, সত্য সত্য আমি তোমাদেরকে বলছি, তোমরা দেখবে স্বর্গ খুলে গেছে এবং ঈশ্বরের দূতেরা মনুষ্যপুত্রের উপর দিয়ে উঠছেন এবং নামছেন।
He said to him, “Most certainly, I tell you, hereafter you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
